The Best Bars in Bux-Mont | Eater Philly

"Blue Dog Pub is well worth seeking out. This homey bar provides a welcoming environment and a dizzying array of celebrated beers including national favorites like Heady Topper from The Alchemist. Step up to the bar to cheer on your favorite team or enjoy the secluded dining room for a quiet meal with your family. The menu provides a wealth of options, including a spicy firehouse chicken cheesesteak and flavorful wings. Don’t steer away from this great pub just because it is tucked in a strip mall." - Sam Herring

Great place for a drink and bite to eat! My friend’s love the drinks. We always have a good time and the pool tables are a bonus

Google
Food was basic, not great but not bad either. Drinks were pretty good. Only 1 pool table, and depending on the time/day, it's taken for a long while.

First time eating here. The crab mac & cheese was pretty good, but there was not much cheese sauce, which was a disappointment. I think it was from being made ahead, and the macaroni soaked it up while it was sitting. The spilt pea soup was delicious and had lots of ham. My husband has the flatbread, he said it was delicious. The draft beer offered was really varied, and the choices were excellent. The beers were poured expertly. The service was exceptional; it was quick, thoughtful, and the waiter was pleasant and very helpful. We'll definitely be back.

Went yesterday, staff was too busy counting money from tip jar, sitting with customers and having an 20 minute conversation with them, and gossiping about people from other location directly in front of me. I asked for a mw burger got rare. The food was not good at all. It also said it came with a pickle which in anyone’s plate that got a sandwich did not get. Two other people had to send their food back as well. I have had my husbands 30 birthday ten years ago and it was great. Now, I’m not sure what happened, besides the new staff. This place was so special to us but not anymore.

Google
This place is a hidden gem. I lived in Lansdale for a few years now and just started going in. Great take out craft beer selection that isn't overloaded with IPAs, they have tons of stouts, lagers, porters, etc. They have classic German Dunkels on tap, as well as Guinness and other classic / rare beers including KBS at one point! Great food with a rotating specials menu, great for date night because if your girlfriend doesn't like beer they have some solid original cocktails.

Gregory Parker, Realtor

Google
This has been our go to Friday night spot for over a decade. Friendly courteous staff. Awesome rotating tap selection. We usually get the nachos. They’re huge! Big enough to feed 2+!

Google
It’s a bar so Amigo Dan was with me. This was a very good stop. They have grilled cheese and cheesesteak on the menu. I asked for grilled cheesesteak, the bartender said no problem but I have to charge you an extra $3. I said, no problem. He asked if we wanted tomato or bacon. We said yes to bacon. This was a very tasty grilled cheesesteak. This would score very high as a grilled cheese with steak. As a grilled cheese cheesesteak, I would have liked more cheese and meat but it was still good. The bacon added a nice flavor. The chef was working on a BarBQue - Bourbon sauce. He gave us a sample. It starts as a nice BBQ sauce and then the Bourbon smacks you in the face. I like Bourbon smacking me in the face! That’s going to be an amazing sandwich!

Google
Came to blue dog for two green tea shots and was charged $20. Three previous bars did not charge more than $11 for two. I am Very disappointed that blue dog is one of those establishments which uses these types of sales tactics. The drunker they interpret you are, the more they think they can charge. Be weary. Very very disappointed This place has the right ingredients to surpass local competition but the space must be upgraded, the service is outstanding, the pricing is just right, the people are all amazing and you enjoy every minute spent in this place. I hope the owners consider renovating this space as the potential is exponential.

Yelp
Went here while the family was in town with a large party. We were able to pull a few tables together and make plenty of room. The place is pretty large but it's mostly bar seating from what I could see. Also the outside is hard to figure out. You don't know where the entrance is. Twisted tea on tap. We got a bunch of appetizers. The cheesesteak egg rolls and the buffalo chicken egg rolls were a little lackluster. However the mozzarella sticks and bruschetta were excellent. The entrees were awesome. I got the special BBQ chicken cheesesteak. Everyone really liked their food. I didn't try any one's cuz I was full. Our waitress was great. We were confusing, confused and loud. With a full bar to tend to that's not easy. I know I said it before but tip well. It's hard to put up with hungry, drunk human beings.

Yelp
First time ever and last. Roast beef terrible, au jus terrible, fries tasteless, onion soup had foul taste like bad liquor, taco salad no dressing just lettuce n fixins???? Flatbread mushroom appetizers had horrific odor...2stars bc staff very nice shame!

Yelp
I love the nachos. They are so big that you need to share with 3 or 4 people. The staff is very friendly. There are booths as well as a bar. It's not very loud so if you want to have a conversation you still can. There is a large IPA take out section. They have one pool table with specials Sunday and Wednesday. Trivia night on Tuesday is so much fun.

Yelp
Great bartender/server, Nickie! Busy place and she never missed a beat! Excellent cheesesteak and wings! Beer selection was a nice surprise! Will definitely be stopping in more often in the future!

Yelp
Solid local dive bar in the middle of a strip mall. Food is not great, but the service is fun and the drinks were solid. Steady crowd coming and going, pool table in the back. Good energy... crowd gets younger as the night progresses.

Yelp
A late evening visit with a big group of friends . Server was helpful and accommodated us in a booth eventhough they already closed that section .decent selection of Beer's and spirits. I really liked spicy chk wings and chicken loaded Nachos.

Yelp
Great beer selection. They have a late night food menu which is good. Also they have chimay grand reserve on tap. So I love it because this is one of the only places that sell chimay on tap.

Yelp
This review strictly for the young gentleman who is the bartender. He is the lowest of the low life and a scumbag. He thinks he is slick and will try to charge for drinks you didnt order. This is what he does, he will take cash from people who leave cash for their order and treat it like its his tip and then will go to charge you for all those drinks. I am glad I checked my receipt and noticed this. So i asked him about it and he mentioned that I thought i was covering for the drinks that other people ordered and that he has been busy so he "forgot". Guess what, i am calling my cc company and reporting this and you will not get paid for that tab you charged to my cc. Hope your boss reads this and fires you.

Yelp
Somehow the blue dog found a way to put a neigborhood bar in a strip mall. Good spot to watch a game. If you look hard enough you can see the energy the two main guys have put in to keep that place together. Rumor has it that you might find a good pool game but cant say I've seen it. Ask Kevin for more Flyers hockey he loves it. There is a super positive young bartender that you might see again. Life is sweet. Friendly regulars and great bartenders. Service is better here but neither are bad. Beer list is the best around. You can tell where the passion lies, it's certainly not in repairs. A great spot to stop. Relaxed management actually benefits this place. They do play strange music sometimes, as if they want people to leave. I liked the random Pink Panther theme. There are owners more deserving your patronage, however there aren't better employees that need your business.

Yelp
I've given this place numerous tries over the years, and I'm sorry, the food blows. Screwed up my order again, not even close to what I ordered. Two stars for the martini.
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
Francesca and Samantha's bad reviews are based on Kevin doing his job following PLCB regulations by not serving someone who didn't have an ID on their person. Their group of friends were disrespectful and crude, and tried to justify a death in the family for their friend (who did not look of age) not having a valid form of ID on her. Kevin was just following the law. I was there last night when they cursed him out and repeatedly told him to "suck a d**k", and other very explicit comments I do not wish to mention. I was rather offended by their language. Please do not take their reviews into consideration when choosing a good bar in the Lansdale area. We love this place, and I wish people like this would stop writing bad reviews on here just because they're "butt hurt" over a situation in which they were wrong.

Yelp
Nice bar. They have a lot of TVs, pool table, takeout... Good craft beer selection. Not too loud of a bar. Service was good

Yelp
Nice little bar to grab some wings and beer, food is good and the staff are always friendly.I usually just get the Hot wings which are probably the best in the area.its a "corner bar" so don't expect anything fancy.Perfect spot to meet friends and wear whatever you want and not be judged.

Yelp
Blue Dog Pub is a typical bar with bar food. The menu offers more food options than would a typical bar (steak and ravioli) but should stick to wings, fries, burgers, salads, and sandwiches. I imagine most consumers go for those items anyway. I rolled in for lunch, because this place has been around for ages and often gets overlooked. I also recalled a day where they had stellar french fries and gravy. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and paid an additional $1.50 for fries over chips. I sat at the bar because the place was pretty crowded for a lunch time in a relatively distant place from most offices. Kudos to drawing a lunch crowd. Back to the food. The chicken sandwich was above average for a bar food chicken sandwich. There was bleu cheese that was creative. Of course bleu cheese is a Buffalo chicken sandwich goto, but the crumbles were perfect for the cheese I so often seek in a Buffalo chicken sandwich. The bleu cheese crumbles were abundant, but complimentary. Objectively, it was too much for what its purpose was, but I appreciated it personally. The chicken was real chicken. It wasn't a prepackaged, frozen wasteland piece of meat. It at least appeared, tasted and felt like a real chicken breast battered and fried for me to enjoy. It demanded respect beyond a cheap ploy to garner money to offset beer special prices. Along side the chicken sandwich was a mountain of fries. Not just any fries. Steak fries. Usually about 5-10 are equal to a serving of regular fries. However, I got 15-20 steak fries. That's like a mountain of fries! The downside to Blue Dog: after so many years it still seems like Blue Dog is trying to find its image. The menu shows it's trying to be upscale and build a reputation for its food, but it is really a bar with great bar food: a market looking to be broken open in the North Penn community.

Yelp
I do not recommend this place for lunch or dinner. It is probably just good for the drinks. The food is terrible. Their soup of the day was a fish soup and it was thick and you can only taste cinnamon. No fish! The chicken quesadilla is plain..under seasoned. I will not be back at this place. Food is horrible.

Yelp
We came here last night for some beer and bar food and really enjoyed it. As a vegan, I really appreciate that they have veg friendly options on their menu. I hope this doesn't go away! We really enjoyed the southwestern taco bowl, ALT, sweet potato fries and Brussels sprouts (which were bangin'!) We got a flight of beer for $10 and the Free Will brew. The prices are on the higher end of what I'd expect (expect maybe a dollar or two cheaper). However, I was really happy with my experience here and will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Wings here were so good! I got "hot" and boy are they hot! My mouth was on FIRE! But it hurt so good. The sauce was full of so much flavor. I do really appreciate a place that actually has unique and homemade sauce for their wings. Overall, this place was smaller than I thought it was gonna be, but its also not terribly busy which is nice. We got our food and drinks pretty quickly and our waitress was attentive.

Yelp
I haven't been here in about 4 years as whenever I pondered a visit I would think "mediocre/dive-y/shitty atmosphere" and then go somewhere else. Well Friday night I met a friend there who was already high from smokin' a doob and needed to munch down and chase with some beers. I'll have to admit that the Blue Dog has improved since years ago with a very good draft beer selection, and the basic junk food selections to satisfy your munchies. The wings and the burgers were winners. The chili was average. The potato chips, although I believe they were homemade or at least that type, were a little stale. The bartender was OK, but a lot of chatting with his local regulars had me occasionally calling across the bar for service. The atmosphere or should I say "lack of atmosphere" has not changed, those friggin' lights at the take-out beer section at one end of the bar are too bright carrying over to the rest of the place, makes it feel like you are in a store rather than a bar. Overall I will return when I am jonesing for some beers and wings.

Naman P.

Yelp
Service and food were really off tonight. Took 15 mins before the bartender offered another drink. It wasn't his fault. He needed help desperately. Let's talk about the food. I ordered from the late night (limited) menu. First thing I ordered, they were out of. So I picked cheese fries. Why did it take half hour for cheese fries? And when they arrived, the fries and sauce were served separately (not standard). Fries were chewy like they had been sitting under the light. The cheese sauce was cold. I can go on and on... I tried to play devil's advocate every time I noticed something wrong but it was too much to ignore. The owner(s) need to step it up. Mind it, this was on a Tuesday night with limited crowd. Very disappointed.

Yelp
My niece and nephew (both under 7) love this place. For a bar/restaurant,they do such a good job with kids! I always enjoy my food and the good variety of the beer list!
google avatar

Yelp
Not a bad spot for a sandwich and a casual sit down. They have decent TV screen to watch a game. Not much more to say about this watering hole.
google avatar

Yelp
Average spot. Good beer great specials! My boyfriend and I went here on our first date and it was a great spot to hangout and talk. The waitresses are really nice. Good pub like food at good prices.

Yelp
I loves me some beer. And this place has an incredible selection. Everything from Yuengling to obscure German imports and they get extra kudos for carrying beer from my beloved Northwest. The food is spectacular and you get huge portions for the price. Definately try the Reuben or the Eggplant Parm Sandwich for lunch if you are in the area.

Jill H.

Yelp
I stopped in here for a bite to eat during dinner time on a Wednesday. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. It has a good atmosphere. Unfortunately the food is terrible. Mozzarella sticks, priced at $9, seemed to be the same style as something purchased at the local grocery store and baked. Huge letdown. Chicken tenders were ok but seemed to be fried in oil that needed to be replaced. Considering it was 5 PM, I would've expected it to be fresher. I will not go back.
google avatar

Yelp
Food = Bad Atmosphere = Horrible Clientele = Really? Are you serious? Beer Selection = not bad. All though most of the good beers are the ones on the Shelf that no one drinks and all are dusty.
google avatar

cotie s.

Yelp
This strip mall bar has a nice home town friendly atmosphere. The beer menu is pretty good and they have a large take out beer store. For the 15 minutes we waited for a table I spent looking over the selection of beers. This is one of the few places you in the area you can buy single bottles/cans of beer. A great way to sample and try out new beers. I had a beer sampler platter that came with five beers, two of which I'd had before and the other three I'd never had. The food was decent, nothing to write home about, though worth the price. We will definitely go back at some point and wish the Blue Dog was closer to take advantage the beer store.
google avatar

Yelp
Let me make this easy for you 1. You live reasonably around the zip code 19446 2. It's wednesday night and you are looking for a decent place that houses the awesomest collection of beer possible, plus good music, great food And food. 3. You don't really care about the ambience, the tables and the temperature If 1,2, and 3 apply to you make sure you stop by blue dog at least once. They have everything for everyone and in all honestly a great place to try the most rarest of beers in Montgomery county
google avatar

Marc W.

Yelp
Bar food, dive bar crowd, and dive bar feel.....which is all okay ( just expect it). They have an expansive and ever changing list of beers which you'll be psyched about, but that's not my thing. The wings are some of the best I've had- hot, but manageable. I strongly recommend either the turkey and bacon sandwich on a pretzel roll or the portobello mushroom sandwich on a pretzel roll. Both good lunch choices. I've only been here mid-week for lunch, so I cannot speak to it at night or weekends. Lastly, TVs placed all round so you have a good view wherever you sit.

Yelp
Decent bar in the area. Been here a few times, a good place to grab a quick bite. They have the typical bar menu, with a few extra items. Crab cakes, linguine and clams, just to name a few. I would recommend the burger or wings. We picked up wings for Super Bowl XLVIII... at least we had something to keep us entertained. Their wings are tasty and there's a good number of sauces, from original to Parmesan ranch. The other plus is their beer selection. Looking for a good seasonal or speciality beer? The perfect pumpkin beer? This is the place to go. Once you walk in the door, there are cases full of cold beers. Ask the waitress, they are both friendly and helpful.

Hugo G.

Yelp
We have been coming to the blue dog pub for a couple of years. The ambience is very family-friendly and relaxed. The happy hour during the week has great items in the menu with a few dishes for 4.99. I specially like the filet mignon flatbread and the steamers! Draft beers are also at a good price. Chicken wings on Sundays are good to have (50 cents). If you're brave enough I recommend the crazy hot sauce. It is crazy hot! The restaurant also offers ample selection of draft beers and the menu changes often. I definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
We've been to the Blue Dog a few times, to both locations (in Chalfont and Lansdale) but as Lansdale had a beer we really wanted to try, we hit them up for some dinner. The crowd was quite light, with several booths open so we made our way to one in the center of the restaurant and proceeded to take in the menus. The Blue Dog has a decent amount of pub food, but it's rather limited in variety. You won't find juicy burgers or the like on here -- the only burger I saw was on a pretzel roll. Also, no cheesesteaks (a Philly staple!!). The beer menu is pretty deceiving as well. You are handed this large menu with what looks to be about 40 craft beers on it and you think "SCORE" until you get to the point after the 11th beer and it says "Coming Soon..." *womp womp* and then there are arrows of ones coming soon pointing upwards. The food was ok. Not that it was bad, but it wasn't anything to write home about. The French onion soup is perhaps the best I've ever had in awhile, but the sandwiches (I had the chicken italiano and he had the filet Panini) were loaded and soggy. There was no way you could eat it as a sandwich. I had multiple versions of fries on my plate, too (steak, regular, small .. very odd and inconsistent). I do have to say that our server was top notch and very helpful and attentive. The dessert we had (homemade chocolate peanut butter pie) was probably the highlight of the evening. Very good but chunky (has nuts for those who aren't a fan). I believe the pub has a bunch of events throughout the week - we happened on Trivia night. I guess the locals enjoy it, I've been to better (Steppy's in E. Norriton on Wed.nights). The MC was a little too creepy for my taste and the questions weren't really trivia relatable - just stupid knowledge. As for the take-out area, they have a lot of decent beers, many locals that are bottled. If you drink those in-house, it's a $2.50 upcharge per bottle. You can also try Capone's in E. Norriton for some really great brews as well and I don't believe they have an upcharge for drinking in the restaurant.

Yelp
summary ... awesome draft beer selection, okay food and atmosphere (they have good takeout beer too) We frequent Blue Dog Pub for happy hour but only for their draft beer. They have a nice rotation of maybe 15-20 craft brewed draft ales and their bar-staff are knowledgeable about them (beats the shit out of "ummm, I don't know, it's hoppy or something?" which we get at Bones Grill nearby). The beers are reasonably priced too, which is great when you're getting a 9% alcohol beer. The food, on the other hand, has always been so-so bar food. A few times I've tried eating dinner here and regretted the decision. Now the only food we order is the occasional plate of fried calamari or nachos. Similarly, the atmosphere is pretty depressing. It's like halfway between a dive bar (darts and pool) and sports bar (crapload of TVs), but never seems to satisfy my craving for either type of bar. A nice bonus is that by the entrance, they have a takeout beer selection, which helps a lot thanks to PA's stupid as hell alcohol laws. They aren't the cheapest, but they have a lot of craft beers that one wouldn't ordinarily find at their corner gas station in other states. The reason we keep coming back is that this is the best option in the area. Other bars that have better atmosphere and food have terrible beer selection. When you're going to a pub, you better at least get the beer right. Blue Dog Pub does.

Yelp
This is not the Blue Dog Pub/Family Tavern. It is sponsored/run by Blue Dog but is an outdoor, pop-up beer garden at the intersection of Vine and Broad in Lansdale. Open Fri and Sat evenings and Sun afternoons, the Blue Dog Freight Station offers outdoor seating, food from different vendors, beer, games, music, and most of all a super chill vibe. This is by far the best thing to hit Lansdale in a while. They do charge a $1 membership fee which you only pay on your first visit and which is donated to the Freight Station Event Center project. If you haven't been, check it out. Come with friends, a significant, or bring the family. Suitable for everyone.

Yelp
The beer selection and close proximity to my house kept drawing me back, but after almost digesting a metal wire that was in my soup I am writing this place off as far as food is concerned. The food is terrible and now even potentially dangerous. You can go to watch a game and knock a few back, but do yourself a favor and go on a full stomach!

Yelp
Very good draft and bottled beer selection; good menu with varied specials, dessert, and decent coffee; and friendly, efficient service. I'm a fan. The Blue Dog Cafe is a little out of the way for me, but it's worth the occasional trek to Lansdale due to its above average menu and excellent beer selection (that is reasonably priced). I've had everything from burgers to salads to entrees, and I've always been satisfied with the food... much better than the standard pub fare. The draft list generally has at least five high-quality craft brews, and the bottle selection (for take-out purposes) is awesome. I've bought singles by Nøgne Ø, Mikkeller, Haandbryggeriet, and Fantome... and I once found a bottle of Founder's KBS here; the selection is on par with Philly's Foodery, but the prices are about 40% cheaper. For the bottled beer alone, this place is worth the trip, but stick around for a meal and desssert; you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Kevin is the best bartender!!!!!! Our drinks are always filled , friendly service with a smile !!!! Give that guy a raise . I will be back

Linda V.

Yelp
Every time I have been at the Blue Dog I have enjoyed my meal and their beer selection. The menu has been updated with a variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes. There were TVs all around showing the Phillies game, which was a plus. The service was excellent.

Yelp
It's a solid 3 stars. A-OK. There's nothing at all special about it. Except the fact that this is Landsdale, Pennsylvania- it's a bar, it has food, people, and it's not like there's a ton of places to go. Came here for a drink and lunch with my brother and mom to catch up. I had a soup and a vegetable sandwich with some cheap reisling. Both my brother and mom polished off their food so it must've been good, as we're not the type to stuff ourselves. I don't know the prices, my mom was nice enough to pick up the tab for her cubs. Service was sort of slow... but it was pretty empty and I think she was just relaxing. As a former waitress, I've had those afternoons so I'm not holding it against the establishment. It also looked like they had a full week of events each night. That's sort of cool. I'm just not around town but if I was, I'd probably check it out.

Yelp
I have been to the Blue Dog Pub several times. The beer selection is phenomenal and better than almost any bar I have been too. There are daily special items on the menu. The food is not 5 star but there is a great variety and I have never had a bad meal.
google avatar

Yelp
Bottom line first: Great selection of beers, food hit or miss. My wife and I ate here last night. At each table is a beer menu that not only lists the beers currently available, but also the ones that are on deck, ready to fill in when a current one runs out. The list is long, varied, and impressive. I tried three different beers and each one was pretty darn good. I go the blackened tuna for my starter and the ribs for my dinner. The blackened tuna was very nice. The tuna itself was not the highest quality, but I did not expect it to be. It actually was better than I expected a little pub to have. The ribs came recommended by our waitress. I am sure that many people love them, but they were very overcooked. The meat did not stay on the bone at all and the meat had no real form. The burgers at the table next to ours made me jealous. I know what to get next time. And I do think that there will be a next time. There are too many beers there calling my name.

Capella I.

Yelp
I go here often with my boyfriend & our friends who live up the street from Blue Dog. We often go to get some good beer to go or whatever monthly beer event they offer. The selection of beers is great, however some are over-priced. The food at Blue Dog is ehh. It's inconsistent; some days it's good, & some days it's bad. The same goes for the service. If you're planning on getting a table during a beer event, FORGET about it! You'll be waiting all night if you can tolerate staying there. You either get in early or plan to find somewhere else to eat that night. They do offer a lot of specials, most of which don't personally interest me (not looking to grab 40s to watch a phils game you know?). It's pretty dead during the week if there is nothing going on, so if you're just looking to enjoy an evening sitting by the bar, having a nice beer and watching a game, tolerating regular pub food, this would be the ideal place.

Yelp
Amazing beer selection (both to take out and to drink there) and really solid food. Yes, it's bar food. But, it's really good bar food! They have great nachos and make their own cheese sauce. Also, they will make any of their burgers with a veggie patty. My favorite is the mushroom/swiss burger with a veggie burger. They even use an insanely tasty brioche bun. Their dessert list looks incredible, too, but I'm always too full of veggie-ness to eat any. I don't really understand people's comments about it being a "dive" bar. The interior isn't grungy at all and the waitstaff is always super friendly. Yes, there are TVs and a large bar for people to sit at. But when I think dive bar, I think dirty. The Blue Dog definitely isn't scuzzy at all. It's all around one of my favorite places for a delicious and beery weeknight dinner out.

Yelp
The food here was literally the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted in my entire life. I got takeout here with my cousin and ordered a south western chicken wrap as well as the A. L. T. chicken wrap. One with a side of sweet potato fries. Starting off, the food was all cold. The wraps were soggy and raw- like they didn't grill or toast them for even a second. It was a gross plain tortilla. The chicken was cold and absolutely flavorless. The entire meal was dry and tasteless. Not even salt. Like i was eating solely mass and texture, ZERO TASTE. the tortilla chips had NO SALT. the sweet potato fries had no salt. There was no kind of sauce on either wrap and nothing to dip the sweet potato fries in even though it states on their website that the sweet potato fries come with honey mustard. The south western chicken wrap was supposed to come with salsa and sour cream but had none. I understand Covid is rough for everyone involved. But If you're going to serve food like this, please don't even serve it at all. What a waste of money. I don't usually write reviews but I had to make an account specifically to tell people this because it was just terrible.

Yelp
Excellent beer selection. Especially if you enjoy IPAS. They usually have pretty good specials throughout the week too. When it comes to the food, I haven't had a bad meal yet. Came with my parents and ate just as much of their food as I did mine. I had salmon, dad had meatloaf, and mom had chicken parm. Literally three of the most different entrees and they were all excellent with great sides as well. The chef is doing something extremely right back there!

Yelp
Lemme tell you about my time at Blue Dog. So I went there alone to get a quesadilla, which should tell you exactly how I was feeling that day, and it's awkward as fuck because I'm literally the Only customer there and I think the waiter felt sorry for me because he pulled out a second menu before I said I was alone. Anyway. Keep that in mind, I'm the only person there. So I order my quesadilla, and it takes 15+ minutes. I am the only person in the restaurant why did it take that long? I used to work in a restaurant I know certain things take two seconds to make. I got my quesadilla, sub par but what did I expect from a bar that wasn't an authentic Mexican food place. It was enough to satiate my desire for a quesadilla so whatever. I get home, thinking I'm fine but my stomach starts rumbling in the way you know theres something very wrong. Diarrhea!!! Boom, in agony, over a quesadilla that wasn't even that great, overall a waste of my money.
