Blue Door Apartments

Well equipped apartment, stayed here with my daughter for a long weekend and had a great time. Very handy for shops and restaurants. Free car parking just around the corner. |Very comfortable and quiet apartment. Lovely area to visit with beautiful scenery and some great walks. Would recommend Enniskeen Estate first sauna and afternoon tea.

Really good location and apartment is very nice, beds were extremely comfortable, and rooms were lovely and warm. Very flexible for check out, no rush what's so ever. Would stay again. I would say there are alot of stairs but can always leave your prams downstairs was pretty safe.

Wow!!! Where do I start, from the moment we arrived until the day we were leaving everything was just perfect ☺️ we stayed in a one bedroom apartment it was just lovely spotlessly clean, towels lovely and fluffy bed was so comfy couldn't fault anything other than the heat which couldn't be helped as after all it was the summertime!!! ☀️ When we arrived in the apartment we were treated with lovely homemade scones and jam which went down lovely with a cuppa, a lovely gesture from the owners. 👍 Breakfast was lovely the staff were so polite & helpful nothing was a bother to them, we were made so welcome. It was lovely for the owner Dana to come and introduce herself to us and ask was everything ok with our stay did we have enough towels etc. The only thing I really was disappointed with was I hadn't booked to stay longer!!! 🤭 I will definitely be looking forward to returning to these stunning apartments. Dana and James made our stay very relaxing and comfortable you are both fantastic hosts ❤️ I really looking forward to seeing you both again in the future that for everything. Had a great stay in the Blue Door Apartment. The view from the bedroom looking out on the water is beautiful. Very clean and warm. Situated in the heart of Carrigart, however the place is extremely quiet. Great amenities close by, Centra shop, pharmacist and hairdresser all within 1 min walk. We ate in the Olde Glen Bar which was Michelin star quality. Thanks Raymond for all your tips and hospitality. See you again in July.

Such a good place to stay! We were really pleased with the location, ease of getting around and the cleanliness of the place!

This apartment is absolutely spotless, beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable for a stay like I had where we were out and active during the day and just needed somewhere nice to relax and sleep in the evenings. The only reason for the 4 star and not 5 star review is down to the proximity to the street and noise (you'll hear the traffic light crossing beep every few minutes during the day) and the fact the ceiling seemed to be paper thin. Unfortunately this meant you could hear the people's conversations from upstairs not to mention every movement and footstep and more. If this wasn't the case it would have been pretty perfect. The host seemed lovely and pleasant and would have been happy to help had we any issues. I think for a 2 night stay at least two toilet rolls should be provided and some kitchen paper would have been handy. Breakfast in the cafe was ok - I chose the porridge which was very runny and bland with a tiny bit of fruit and sprinkle of seeds, this could easily be elevated for v cheap but more satisfying for a customer. All in all I would recommend the apartment itself- if you can get the top floor then you're onto a winner as Newcastle is lovely.

The perfect place to stay when in Newcastle. Fully equipped apartments, quiet and clean. Great café just down the stairs. Ideally situated too. Worth the price !
