The Blue Door Art Center is for me a uniquely welcoming arts community providing artistic connections in a nurturing atmosphere of openness and inspiration. Artists of all levels and media participate in "almost monthly" themed exhibitions. The art center also holds frequent free classes for kids and various interactive events. If you want a supportive place to meet other artists and work on your craft, visit, participate, join!

Grate gallery which gives artists possibility to express themselves. Also, audience can explore a lot of works of talented contemporary artists. Every month the exhibition has different theme and it is interesting to discover so many great paintings. The receptions are always in warm and cozy atmosphere with creative and awesome people. The organizers are doing great job there and the artists are lucky to have them.

On Saturday, June 25th, Lee Romero taught a workshop focusing on a technique called cross hatching.It turns out Mr.Romero is a gifted teacher in addition to his many talents. The atmosphere was comfortable and he was delightful to listen to. We sat at a long table and it seemed we all hung on every word he said.It was a hot day, but the gallery was cool and airy. It was an uplifting experience and I hope he returns to teach again.
