This place is awesome! Arrived mid-afternoon and the place was busy with a steady stream of customers. We were seated at a bar style table, but it was just a counter which faced outside. We didnt think we were going to enjoy that spot, but our backs were to everyone else sowe had privacy, and we could watch the activity going on outside. On to the food! We got the Latin Kisses as an appetizer, they were amazing and super tasty! Nice heat, and a bit of sweetness from the brown sugar on the bacon. So good!! I ordered the Jiffy burger and my boyfriend got the Merriam Park. We were both impressed! I highly enjoyed the Jiffy, I definitely recommend trying peanut butter on a burger if you never have, it's delicious!! The burgers were messy of course, but not overly messy or impossible to pick up and eat. They were juicy and great quality, the bacon was thick and tasty. French fries were super tasty as well. We will definitely be going back multiple times, it was obvious to see how many people enjoy this gem as it was consistently busy. The staff was extremely friendly and assisted us perfectly. Prices were reasonable. Check this place out!!

The atmosphere is fun. The lighting really puts you into a good mood. The apps were served very quickly. The cheese curds were amazing. Worth the price. The cease and desist burger was pretty good, however, way too much 'merican sauce (mayo). If They added more of the pickles/onions etc amd had less sauce it would be perfect and a bit less messy. The Breakfast set was also amazing. I would kill for their fries. They are more than worth it. They have a good drink selection with some nice local stuff. The downside is parking is sparse, not a lot of seating, and there was an odd (not bad) smell when arriving. It faded. Overall, it is a treat and worth a visit. Definitely grab a drink here. Not a bar, a pub. 😜

great place. this was my first jucy Lucy and I enjoyed it immensely. they had public parking the lot was small, but that's better than nothing. decent priced food. the fries were nice. they had a wide selection of food. they're a traditional pub with lots of drunk food. they priced the food a tad high in my opinion. I wanted to get fried pickles, but i wasn't willing to pay $8 for them when my food was $8.90. they may have a generous portion but I'm not sure. when I got the jucy Lucy I felt underwhelmed at first as I didn't order toppings. by the middle of the burger, I realized how wrong I was. it didn't need it. great restaurant, but if you're drunk you're likely to spend more money than you originally intended. I know when I drink I want unhealthy food. if you're in the same boat, open the blue door.

Placed an order for pickup and was very pleased with the prompt and friendly service. On Halloween, we found a handful of candies at the bottom of our bag which was a nice surprise. The flamin’ hot cheese curds, tater tots, Ol’ Wise wings, Cease and Desist burger, and sauces they came with were all delicious. I was a little disappointed by the wings since I prefer them crispier and smaller than the jumbo ones they serve, and they had forgot the seasoning on our Cajun tots, but overall Blue Door more than hits the mark on quality.

I really enjoyed the food here! The burgers are delicious and cooked perfect! The burgers here are stuffed with different cheeses depending on what one orders!! The deep fried green beans were excellent! They have a decent selection of cold beers also! I went on a Saturday at lunch time and it was busy. We only waited 15 minutes which wasn't a big deal at all. It got a little busier as we were eating. So make sure you have some time if you are going during a busy time. I will definitely go back!

We went in on a Saturday night, no wait. Service was fast, drinks were cold. They had Happy Hour pricing specials. We ordered wings and sandwiches. There was a delay in my burger but no big deal, they mentioned the mix-up right away, so all good. It's the not knowing that sucks, anyway all was good except the dressings. Kids had ranch with their wings and it was bland. We are guessing they make it from scratch, which is kudos to them, but we believe they missed the seasoning part, or it wasn't mixed before serving. Either way, we would visit again, good food fun atmosphere.

I have been wanting to visit the blue door pub for 8 years now.I finally got around to it and oh boy was it worth it. The various flavors that I experienced in a single bite was off that charts. I had "The Islander" my wife had the "Mount Blucuvios" we shared some "Flaming Hot Curds" as an appetizer. The curds were packed with the right amount of heat, I tasted a hint of sriracha powder with some salt and pepper in the batter. Honestly these are the best curds I have had in MN period. My burger had mango, jerk seasoning as well as some other interesting ingredient combos. I tried it out of curiosity and was blown away at how all the flavors complemented each other and really worked well together. My wife didn't want to share her burger but she agreed that its one of the best burgers in MN hands down. If you like explosive flavors, decent prices and shareable portions this spot is for you.
