"The Center City outpost of Northeast Philly’s Blue Duck opens at noon, which might just be perfect timing to catch the mayhem outside as it rolls past. This is a great pit stop for short rib mac and cheese with a side of beer." - Andre Darlington

"The Center City version of the restaurant, Blue Duck on Broad, took over the former Bop space at 220 S. Broad Street in June 2017. That one had a liquor license, as did Ugly Duckling, which opened with breakfast, sandwiches, and dinner plates like chicken fried duck breast at 212 S. 11th Street a few months later." - Rachel Vigoda

The burger and fries hit the spot and the bartenders were friendly. I'd definitely come back to try some of the other items on their menu, although I still want to give their original location a try too. This location is definitely more convenient so it was an easy way to finally try Blue Duck.

This place was ok for Saturday brunch, nothing that blew me away. I opted for the duck benedict (see picture) which intrigued me with the cherry-sriracha hollandaise, but the sauce didn't pack the flavor I was expecting. One of the poached eggs was nearly cooked through. They also didn't carry jelly or jam for toast, which I thought as odd. This being said, I did finish my meal. The decor is bright and clean (the white marble with warm woods is a nice look). I'd come back if I were in a pinch for a last minute brunch spot, but the food didn't wow me.

We love the northeast restaurant so we decided to check this out. We were disappointed. The atmosphere isn't what we normally like. The food was mediocre. I ordered fried chicken. I got 2 wings and a leg for $21. Yes really. The leg was under cooked at that. It was really not what I hoped for. And by the way. It was 3 pieces of chicken and some garnish no sides. No veggies. Don't think I'll be repeating.

Come here once in a while, always for brunch. People panning it on here seem to be looking for some "elevated" Center city dinning experience. This is more of a comfort food-ish menu so don't go looking for something high class and then rip the place. 4 stars though because I did enjoy it more when they had the funky vibe of fruity pebbles French toast and the pork roll egg rolls. Also loved the tater tots with cream chipped beef. Hopefully they bring back a little fun to the menu for warmer weather.

You have to try the chicken and waffles! Mildly tangy and sweet at the same time, good stuff!

The Stocks French Toast (made with pound cake instead of bread) is one of our usual go to items, (switched out the chocolate chips for berries in the picture). The outside seating is nice, but I'd probably request indoor or by the windows if it's going to be hot because the sun will be right over you for brunch. This location just opened so I'm interested to see how the menu develops!

This place is extraordinarily mediocre. Decent food, sub par atmosphere. They seem like they're trying to be upscale but failing. One example, I ordered an old fashioned here and a sweet, red concoction was handed to me. This place kind of fits on Broad.

The wait staff was inattentive despite the restaurant itself being nearly empty (there was my party and two other tables occupied). My order (which was just a stock menu item, no substitutions) also came out incorrect. The food itself was OK, but I do not plan on returning based on this experience.
