Blue Eyed Daisy Bakery

Thought it was just a bakery, surprised when I saw food. It all looked good. We were headed to eat somewhere else but I really wanted to try the burger. They had nice looking bakery items. Clean place. Service seemed cool. I got the blueberry bread and maple pecan bread trying to avoid icing. The blueberry was better/more moist but not enough blueberries or blueberry taste. It just wasn’t all that, something to eat really. The maple pecan had less of a pronounced taste. They looked appropriate. Should’ve tried the other cakes, cupcakes, cookies and their food. Could’ve went 4-Star but didn’t wanna judge em off what I had. Looking forward to coming back to try everything. They have good reviews so I want to see for myself.

We are frequent customers and love this place. Great options for breakfast and lunch, there are special events too like burger night. Anything we have tried was great. We especially love the Southwestern Salad and Cuban Sandwich. All sides are made fresh. Also try the peach tea, it is not very sweet and delicious. The baked goods are awesome too

I have eaten at Blue Eyed Daisy a couple times. I’ve had a turkey sandwich, awesome burger, great chicken salad, good homemade potato salad. Their bakery goods are the best. Great customer service. I was able to order a birthday cake with little notice, and they came through for me…one of the best cakes I’ve eaten! I live 25 minutes away and it’s well worth the drive!

Whenever I’m craving a good burger this is the place I go. I love their burger and side salads and their pastries are so good!

Look at the pictures and decide for yourself if this was worth $40USD. (Not pictured are three cookies we also got) Yes, it was good... but only just as solid, average, you've-likely-had-similar-elsewhere types of dishes. Myself, I wasn't a fan of the pasta salad, though the person it was for liked it just fine. The burger was cooked medium rare, had decent flavor. The Mediterranean chicken was a little dry, good flavor. Coleslaw was simple, dressing was the right amount, good flavor. Latte was a latte, thank goodness! Not that I expected it wouldn't be, but still, since I needed one right then it was great! The cookies were fine as well... flavors, moisture levels, etc... Well, been there, seen it, done it... but didn't give me any reason to drive over an hour to visit again. If we lived close, it would be different.

The setting in serenbe is really pretty. Walking trails, small shops, beautiful houses. That said for a sandwich shop, this is real expensive. We paid $38 for two people for two salads. Oh, and it was called a Waldorf salad but had no apples or celery. You gotta read the fine print.

Our favorite little spot for lunch at Serenbe. The Bue Eyed Daisy is such a nice change from your typical lunch cafe. We love the chicken sandwich and the burger. You can really taste the freshness. Their selection of coffee and tea is vast, or enjoy a glass of wine or beer with lunch. Make sure you leave room for dessert as they always have a large selection of to choose from.

I had the cheese burger. BEST burger I think I have ever had. Service was great even eating outside with our pups.

I think if you live around the cafe it might be a favorite spot but between the availability of parking and the location in general this is probably a one time visit unless I happen to be in Serenbe again. I enjoyed my latte and my pastry and the staff were all kind.

Great French toast overall breakfast was fresh.. bacon was good. Eggs cooked perfect

This quaint little cafe is a gem. We were pleasantly surprised with the simple sandwiches. The presentation and the taste was great. Their spin on Avocado toast was unique and I absolutely loved it. If you're in the area I highly recommend you stop by and enjoy the experience. The service was very friendly and welcoming.

Great Reuben Sandwich with Sea Salt & Vinegar chips. Cute restaurant, staff is pretty bothered the customers are here, but you should try the Blue Eyed Daisy

I love coming here in the mornings. Small bake shop with great baked goods, desserts, and coffee shop items. Also serves lunch, Sunday Brunch. One day per week there is a dinner. Peaceful in the mornings. The gluten-free blueberry bread and the vanilla rose chai latte are great for on-the-go, but the breakfast scramble is amazing. Their gluten-free bread is delicious - not grainy or bland like most. The team is almost always pleasant and seems to have amazing energy so early. Food is usually ready fast, and they have a smooth operation going. People love coming to just sit and work, study, socialize - and I see why. I just wish they were open a little later. Other than that, highly recommend.

My friend took me to view Serenbe since it is an area I've never visited. I wanted some coffee so we stopped in. I ended up getting the maple latte and chocolate chip banana bread. Both tasted good with just the right amount of sweetness. It took a little while for my drink likely because they were making several lattes and making food but it just gives it that much more of a neighborhood feel.

Adorable little restaurant with fabulous staff. The food is all fresh made and tastefully creative. Our party of 6 enjoyed all our meals. Highly recommended are the big blueberry pancakes, veggie melt with the best potato salad I've ever had. The daisy bowl, chicken salad sandwich, chicken pesto sandwich and breakfast burrito. The pastries looked fabulous. Can't wait to visit again.

We loved this place! Visited Serenbe for 2 nights & came here each morning. Our Airbnb host also greeted us with 2 cookies from their bakery. Highlights: -red velvet cookie -pumpkin loaf (gf/df) - the BEST pumpkin loaf I've ever tasted. We bought it both days. So moist! -country breakfast with grits (I would suggest sausage instead of bacon) -lattes were tasty, but the cinnamon chai was a little too sweet for my taste (I got it iced) Such a cute ambiance inside & out! People were so nice & a lot of patrons brought their dogs. Very kid friendly as well. Wish we lived closer so we could go back more often!

Great service and fresh food. Super cute space that offers brunch on Sunday. I had the Truffled Avocado BLT and it was delicious.

This was lovely on a beautiful Saturday afternoon! Sitting outside under the sunshine and eating a great lunch was wonderful! The potato salad was a light combo that paired well with the beyond burger.

Serenbe is fun to visit every once-in-a-while. Sometimes gives off a stuffy/creepy vibe. The Blue Eyed Daisy has delicious bakery items! Their head baker Hailey was so helpful and kind. The "duffins" are my personal fave! Come hungry

The turkey club I had here for lunch recently was sooo good. The turkey and the bacon both tasted great on it. I would definitely come back just for that honestly. The ambiance inside was nice, love the look of the place. I'm deducting a star because the food took some time to come out and because the prices are a little high (but also I understand the prices are likely the consequence of being inside Serenbe lol). Workers were courteous. Overall I had a great lunch experience here!

Very quaint and relaxed atmosphere, every item are freshly bake, and exceptionally tasteful, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great location

If Serenbe's your modern day farm, sign me up! Seriously! I'm a sucker for fresh and locally grown food and this place serves it directly from their farm. After our hike on the property, we made a pit stop to Blue Eyed Daisy to fill up our tummies before we headed back to Atlanta. The farm is located in Palmetto, about 45 minutes south of downtown Atlanta, so not a far drive at all. Especially if you have some great tunes bumping in the car. At the time, I was returning back to a vegetarian diet (I'm vegan now.) and they had quite of few options to choose from like the Super Food Salad and the Rainbow Veggie Sandwich. And honestly that's what I liked most about this place. The soup of the day was vegetarian and I could count several items that geared towards that diet so Uno point for Blue Daisy! The descriptions of each sandwich made my mouth water so I had a tough time choosing but settled on the Veggie Belly Sandwich. Basically, it's loaded with veggies and topped with a garlic sauce served on freshly baked Focaccia bread. I wasn't passing that up. And to think, I was gonna break my diet that day and order the turkey sandwich. Final thoughts? The sandwich was bomb! The only thing I hate was the portion size for the price. Its not a full sandwich you'd get from Newk's or Panera. It's a half size. So yeah. And I got a double chocolate cookie for dessert. It was okay. Would I drive 45 minutes for another one? A huge possibility! Especially if I can get that Kale Slaw they served at the General Store. But I'd only come during the daytime. It's in rural area and it's not safe for a little lady like me to be driving at night.

They are always amazing. We live 40 min away and go at least twice a month. Great food and better service!

Monday night, Italian night at the Blue Eyed Daisy is a home run. Under new management and its great. I highly recommend the lasagna and Pinot Grigio. Finish the evening with a cookie and cappuccino Thank you Matt and the Blue Eyed team

This place is great! Super friendly staff who made great recommendations. I got a tomato sandwich for lunch, and an iced coffee for breakfast the next day. Highly recommend the tomato sandwich!

I literally made a yelp account just to rave about this cute little coffee shop/cafe in serenbe ! I had the Cuban that was delicious , get the green sauce !! Also felt wrong to leave without a giant cookie which was moist & very yummy! Perfect oat milk cappuccino as well 10/10!

THE nicest people. THE best food.... Super impressed! They came through with a phenomenal burger (seriously -- one of the better burgers that you'll have!). The Duffin was warm and just... man, oh man YUM. Blue Eyed Daisy is much better than I imagined, and not just a quick little bake shop like I initially thought. Beyond worthy of a stop when in Serenbe!

Don't come here to have conversation, study, work, or relax. I've tried giving this restaurant multiple chances. The food is decent and girls seem sweet. My biggest issue is the annoyance. I understand coming to my table a couple times to check on me and offer more water, but if you say no they won't stop asking until they just give it to you anyways. I'm wondering if this is protocol? If so, the owner needs to change it. At a point it feels disrespectful. I try to study or converse with whoever I bring, but can't enjoy my time there without being interrupted 15 times in one sitting.

Hours of operation are terrible... especially if you show up during posted hours and they have door locked and half full cafe and won't let you in to buy a couple to go items(even when asked). Horrible customer service to have missed out on a decent sale to legitimize a hungry family w/kids... they operate like they are the only option, oh wait they are!

If you're looking to grab a muffin and coffee for breakfast, this is the place to do it. There is a little morning traffic at the checkout line, but it's worth the wait. The cupcakes will satisfy any sweet tooth.

Nothing very grilled about the grilled cheese lol. Was very soggy. Not crispy or crunchy at allll. Flavor was good but soggy bread and wet runny cheese...

The Rueben sandwich was yummy washed it down with a cold Coca Cola. Blue Eyed daisy is one in a million the staff is so welcoming. Please don't leave without trying one of the desserts and a cup of coffee.

I've been in Serenbe visiting family for the past week and have relied on BED for breakfast and lunch on multiple occasions now. Having been in the area a fair number of times throughout the past few years, I've always thought BED was alright, convenient first and foremost, but I've been particularly impressed with the new menu and food. Apparently they are under new management and it's worked out quite well. The breakfast options are reasonably priced and everything I've ordered has been satisfactory. Cold Brew was strong and fresh (big plus for me). The true standouts though have been the Cuban and Philly sandwiches at lunch, the portion and quality of each was truly awesome. Good Cuban sandwiches are generally rare in or around Atlanta and having made a point to try as many as possible, it came as a surprise when BED had one of the better ones I've tried in some time now. The bread and pork are the real keys and they didn't cut corners. The Philly is just big and good, if you are a Philly Cheesesteak fan, you will definitely enjoy this one. All in all, good on the new management, the past few meals from BED have probably been my best experience with food in Serenbe to date.

Delicious! My fav was the maple latte. The blueberry cinnamon roll is creative and tasty. We each enjoyed our food (BLT, Egg Bowl, cookie, coffee cake). I do wish the avocado toast was available on Sun.

BED burger was incredible. Cuban seasoned to perfection. And lavender lattes were yummy. Incredible!

This was my second time visiting the restaurant and what a complete different experience. The staff was so helpful and friendly. I ordered the burger and it was delicious! To top it off I had a huge brownie and it was magnificent. The restaurant always seems to have a healthy crowd so I a gave it another chance to try the food. Glad I did!

Location was perfect in Serenbe. Everything was good except the cake. It was really dry, but we wanted to love it. They have beer and wine along with good sandwiches. I like that they also have a couple great options for the kids.

We wanted a quick lunch. Blue Eyed Daisy was the cutest little sandwich shop with fantastic burgers and even better side salad. We couldn't walk by those huge cookies without grabbing a few for later. They were scrumptious too!

Honestly the freshest, best food in Serenbe at reasonable prices. The Daisy has been considered ground zero for Serenbe since the early days. A true local's place where people enjoy coming together to share a meal, discuss issues and socialize. Friendly staff, fantastic operator, who pours a lot of love into everything he makes. Make time for a stop here for breakfast, code, lunch, or even dinner (on Monday night's only).

My wife got the lemon cookie and I got the Pumpkin Bar. Americano was well made and the environment was relaxing. There wasn't a lot of people there so I can't comment what it's like when it's full. Only comment is the girl behind the counter was impatient but that may have been because it was the holidays and they were about to close. Otherwise, great little spot.

Super cute little spot inside the Serenbe Development. We ordered lunch which was the delicious piled high homemade chix salad and a burger. Love that they offer a simple salad or fruit as a side. Sat outside and took in the sights of families and couples enjoying their time together.

Love the location! Great menu! Extremely friendly staff. With a location as beautiful as this, you're inviting people to come and hangout and enjoy the energy you've created! BUT. With all the ingredients of an amazing cafe, it's missing one big thing. Great access to WiFi. The WiFi needs to support the clientele. This location also has really weird hours. So make sure you check their website or call before swinging by.

Beautiful little cafe in an old brick building with natural light. I love the ambiance. The food was good. Our cashier must have gone on break after taking our order because they forgot to bring out my order. So it took a long time to get my food after I gently reminded them. If you know my reviews on cafes, I am always on the search for the perfect chai latte. Unfortunately this cafe fell short with a super sweet non-frothy luke warm chai. I think this place has a lot of potential, we might have just come on an off-day.

I usually am just grabbing coffee when I visit Serenbe, but have also had lunch too here which is pretty incredible. (If you have time when visiting, check out the farm!) Coffee is fantastic! And pretty reasonably priced at $2 a cup. They can make some fancies too if you wish, I have ordered a Grasshopper here. It is one of the few coffee shops I have ever been to that know how to make it properly. Everything on their menu is so fresh! The farms right there they work with so that gives you the best picked yummiest possible food. Staff is VERY friendly! It is just a little nook of a place and popular with the residents of the community, plus visitors, so it can get backed up.. But the employees always have a smile on their face when I come in, seem in high spirits/happy, and remain calm and helpful even when it is slammed. And a busy place of business is just a sign of how good it is, truly. Love visiting Serenbe! So glad this spot is still here because I enjoyed it very much when I was living here in Art School in my twenties, and I love swinging through for coffee still when I come to visit. Great atmosphere, staff, coffee and food amazing. Definitely check out Blue Eyed Daisy when you are visiting this magical area!!
