This place is amazing & has it all! Super convenient location super clean and the coolest drinks. Excited to explore more options here in the future :) love that they sell individual drinks too! Super amazing when I don't want to drink the same thing all the time !!

Good location to stop off for beers! Always has fun singles to try so you don’t have to buy an entire 4 or 6 pack before you know if you like a beer.

I didn't catch his name, but the long haired guy running the store Sunday night was a great salesmen and rep for the business. Will definitely be back and already passed on the recommendation to friends. Great selection of hard to find international and domestic micros and macros, as well as the usual macros. Prices seem reasonable and staff is willing to break up four and six packs which is a huge kindness, especially when you're rarely having others over due to COVID. There are also small size options of Belgians that I've only ever seen in the large bottle stateside. Just a heads up, Athletic Brewing Company lists you guys as a "bar/restaurant" on their website vendor guide, not in their "store" category.

Other then whooping Kissel in Mario Kart. It has to be noted. Great selection of Craft beer and domestic beers, wine and snacks

Great place to buy beer, wine, and ciders. Staff is really knowledgeable and helpful. I was looking for a variety pack to get my friend for his birthday and Erik was the best. He helped me pick out a few new beers and some tried and true brews. Really took pride and knew his stuff. Bonus - they sometimes have a very cute bulldog manning the till. Highly recommend stopping by and checking out this place.

Very good selection of Michigan and other craft beer. I especially love the Belgian options too! If you're really lucky, you can toss a game of darts with the owner.

Massive selection and friendly service. The owner, Eric, was very helpful selecting a variety six pack of beer for Father’s Day. I know nothing about beer and he gladly took the time to ask what my husband likes / doesn’t like to try and cater the selection. The store dog was also super friendly and well behaved! For parking, Mary St is a residential street before the intersection that has metered street parking. It’s a quick 2 minute walk.

Blue front has some interesting choices, I'll give them that. However, you should be aware that everything is completely over priced. This is not to mention that every single craft beer that they are selling is expired. This is not a joke. If you're seeing this and planning on going take any craft beer out of the fridge and check the expiration. Granted, I know it's beer so it won't matter much but just the lack of effort from this place and considering the steep prices just don't go here. Campus corner is right across the street, go there. As for the photo, my roommate went there yesterday and I was so confident his beers would be expired I knew I had to take a photo to prove it.

The version of Blue Front that I mentioned in my review has closed permanently. The new owner has a new business model that involves less high-end alcohol and more non-alcoholic items. From what I've read, it will be more like a convenience store which will probably fit the neighborhood better.

Amazing beer store and incredibly helpful staff. The gentleman inquired about the styles I was looking for, pointed me to them. He had tips and advice on storage of the cans. He even added me as a member and checked out all my points at checkout. This resulted in 3 free glasses!

This place is super good for craft beer. Everyone who works their has been nice too. This place is a hidden gem. Check it out!

This place will make you say WHOA! The selection of beer and cider is insane! We came in looking for sour beers and were taken away by tHe amount they offer! This store is on the pricey side but they will definitely have what you're in the mood fOr!

After a few more trips to Blue Front I can say that my first experience was an anomaly, their selection and service is top notch and they are by far the best bottle shop in AA

Enormous selection of beers. Ignore the reviews from 2007: Blue Front has changed owners since then. In 2007, it was a run-down dump that offered a typical selection of gas station/cornerstore type products. Its new owners sell beer, and lots of different kinds, more than 600 if I remember right. The interior has been completely redone: nice wooden flooring with space to roam and eyeball the variety. I was looking for an obscure beer that I hadn't been able to find elsewhere for a couple of years: Blue Front had it. Four stars for now. I'll have to go back and check out the wine selection and see if my review needs more stars. But even if they only carry Mad Dog 20/20, the beer selection alone makes this place worth at least 4 stars.

This place would have gotten 1 star if not for its sentimental value. Blue Front does not have the largest variety when it comes to alcohol, but it will most certainly please Freshmen who can't tell a Natty Lite from a Sam Adams. Blue Front was the first establishment I discovered while looking for fun juice when I first arrived in Michigan. I was very ignorant of the different kinds of alcohol the world had to offer so Blue Front satisfied my pregaming needs despite my sophomoric palette (if freshmanic was a word, I'd use that too). However, now that I know the difference between crap and non-crap I would much rather avoid Blue Front whenever I can. I'd much rather run across the dangerous intersection to buy my fun juice at Campus Corner. Arbor Mist and Natty Lite are fine if you're not into good alcohol. However, if you know your stuff and you want to find a place with Captain Morgan, Blue Front is not the place for you. P.S. I don't know how it is now, but there was a reason I went to Blue Front as a Freshmen.

They reopened with awesome new owners and an HUGE selection of beer and wine! Looking for craft and imported? They have that. Cider and Gluten Free? They have that.

Cool hip place with pretty good beer selection. Staff appears very knowledgeable and is extremely friendly and helpful. They also have free beer sampling.

Blue front has the best craft beer selection in Ann Arbor. Staff are incredibly friendly and super knowledgeable. Give great recommendations. Nice atmosphere inside despite being right smack in the middle of Campus. Get new beer in almost weekly. Highly recommend.

I'm stuck between a 3 and 4 for this place but due to the extensive selection I gave them a four. Not the biggest selection or best prices compared to some big competitors (Binnys, Friar Tucks) its still one of the better options in Ann Arbor. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly, good selection of beer and easy layout to find what you want. If there is some hard to find beer I would try here first because if they don't have it, its likely no one else will.

Only place semi close to Dublin Ohio where we could get Alaskan Amber (we still honor our Alaskan roots). Fantastic selection of beer and they told us they can reserve cases of Amber if we call ahead. Worth the trip every now and then.

A billion times better than the old Blue Front! The space is inviting and well organized and makes beer shopping here a wonderful experience. In my opinion they have the best beer selection by far in Ann Arbor and the owners/staff are really knowledgeable about their beer and wine and are really happy to help you find what you're looking for or to make a suggestion. All the best craft beers from around the U.S. and even some foreign ones! Highly recommend Blue Front if you're looking for your favorite craft beer, a really hard to find beer, or wanting to try something new!!

Apple Store meets beer store. Clean, open space. Hip kids offering sage advice on local beers. Fine selection of international brews. Not so hot on the wines. The beer is the star in this place. I'd be a regular here, if only I lived in Ann Arbor.

Huge selection of craft beers. The most knowledgeable staff I have ever encountered at a craft beer store. The staff at Blue Front can answer all of your craft beer questions, and is great at suggesting new beers based on your taste and interests. I was also very happy with their selection of beers on tap to fill my growler.

The Blue Front seems to have recently re-opened as a much classier store than what was previously at this address. The store is immaculately clean and very well organized, and has a terrific selection of craft beers as well as mass-produced beer. The prices are a bit high but competitive compared to the other stores around Ann Arbor. I highly recommed stopping by if you're in the area to check and see if they have your favorites and to try something new!

We got all the beer for our wedding here and the guys running the place could not have been nicer and more helpful. They were able to get us everything we needed quickly and at a good price. They had great suggestions and tips and a big selection to chose from. I would highly recommend this place.

The selection, location, and staff are all excellent! I come here maybe 1x/month and they always have something new to suggest for me - which is kind of amazing since I go here almost exclusively for sour beers. Plus, they have a great rewards program. Highly recommend!

The store is beautifully remodeled and full of a fine selection of beers, (what I go there for) with a nice emphasis on Michigan brews. I don't live nearby, so I was worried about parking, but since I stop by on my way home from work, I have been able to park in the loading zone (right around the corner on Arbor St.) without incident so far...since I have always been able to get in and out within 5 minutes. My only suggestion is for them to add additional coolers. There have been a few times where I have found beer that I am looking for, but its on the shelf and not cold.

This is your go-to store for microbrews, cider, sake, and sparkling wine in A2! The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful with finding a drink that suits your tastebuds. Highly recommend!

I went there on Friday night to pick a white wine for a friend. Dry, fruity white wine was what I needed, and the store staff was so helpful! My friend loved the wine he helped me choose. Will be back for wine.

Historical -- the place has been in business at this site FOREVER. Selling kegs. Once selling newspapers and magazines and serving as the sole source for the New York Times every Sunday. Seedy for years, running down further and further, finally turned around and that was years ago too.

I would give my customer experience at Blue Front zero stars if I could. Bought a keg of Newcastle for a wedding reception through them and with my knowledge of keg buying limited to my college days many years ago I was not told that the tap is not of the universal type. I even asked when I picked it up if a 'regular' tap would work and was told 'yes' by the useless young man working the counter. Much to my surprise and my 100+ guests it did not work. Upon calling the store 30 minutes prior to guests arriving I was told "You bought the keg, you should know what tap it takes and was told AGAIN that all taps are the same and they would exchange the tap.... took it back, got another tap and still didn't work. Another call and the same response. "sorry, you should have known before you bought the keg". Reception was to say the least a mess as I (the grooms dad) had to run around and purchase cases of beer as guests were arriving. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE !!! Absolutely no care for their customers, only taking your money. Very sad for an Ann Arbor institution to have lowered itself to this.

IF you are a beer drinker, Blue Front is the place to be. Their beer is usually cheaper and the selection is usually comparable to CC. In recent years their stock of imported and micro-brews has grown and they now carry my favorite imports. The location is perfect as well, you can grab your beer then run across the street grab some pizza at bells then head off to whatever frat or block party you wish. On top of everything the owner is a really nice guy, and doesn't give off the ex-hitman vibe the CC guys do.

Reopened last summer under new owners, who outdid themselves to redefine the place. Used to be a shitty party store, now the best place in Ann Arbor to buy beer. Don't come here if you're looking for a case of budlight, come here if you're looking for the best variety of excellent beer. They have a bunch of beer from all over the country and world, as well as a great selection from Michigan breweries. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and will help you find something new to try. There is decent wine selection as well, and not your typical cheap wine. I love coming here, and recommend it to all of my friends.
