Had fantastic cocktails here the other night! The cocktail craftsman was awesome, Andy did an excellent job constructing our drinks. From a very smooth old fashion, to tasty espresso martinis. Finishing off with a very nice chocolate martini. His patience with the detail on the cocktail was impeccable! We had a wedge salad, chicken ceaser salad, tuna Tartar and sprouts. All note worthy. We have visited Blue on a number of occasions. The out side bar is great in the summer. Restaurant in general is very warm and inviting. Staff is always friendly. We definitely will return.

Google
Had an amazing dinner from start to finish. Everything was top-notch. The steaks were perfectly cooked, and full of flavor and tenderness, and the cocktails were mixed with a great balance of creativity and quality. We ended the night with decadent desserts that hit the spot. What also set the experience apart was there 5-star service and atmosphere. The staff was attending while not overbearing, and the ambiance stuck the perfect balance between upscale and welcoming. Whether you're celebrating something special or just want a stand-out meal, Blue Grill House delivers on all fronts

Google
This is a really tough place to review. The parking lot was packed to the brim and the outdoor section was extremely loud. This sounds dumb and trivial but it was a little off putting since that’s really the first thing you encounter. We had reservations and were seated inside, it’s really dark (my photos were taken with night mode on) and quiet inside which was very nice. The only problem that’s come to mind with this place is that the food/steak simply isn’t worth the pricing. The service 100% is, but the steak was no better than a steak from your average steakhouse. The service was great and really was worth the experience, it was fun! But outside of the low light, fancy service and fine dining facade is the fact that this restaurant is not a small independent restaurant but instead owned by a conglomerate. That becomes noticeable by the sheer amount of people they are able to get into that building/parking lot as well as high priced meats for average quality. The prices are inflated because of the fact that it is fine dining, even though the parent group is, I’m sure, getting great prices as they are buying in bulk for several restaurants but not passing them onto the customer. Does all of this mean it isn’t worth a trip back? No. But would I rather give an independent/family owned fine dining restaurant my money? Yes.

Everything about Blue Grillhouse screams BIG BACK ENERGY. I was celebrating my best friend’s birthday, and this place did NOT disappoint. From the classy vibe to the gorgeous decor, it was giving "I work hard, eat well, and look good doing it." Girls' day out turned into a whole experience—laughs, cocktails, and food so good it gave me the confidence to proudly be a foodie. I didn’t just leave full… I left fulfilled. Special shoutout to Gabriela, our server, who was a total gem and made us feel like queens the entire time. 10/10 would recommend—come hungry, leave with a bigger back and no regrets.

Enjoyed an earlier dinner for date night. Food is great, and the service is professional and attentive. Would like to see alternative menus for non alcoholic options with pricing that reflects. The atmosphere is casual to upscale. We enjoyed the duck 2 ways prepared chefs choice, the boneless spare rib, roasted brussel sprouts, and orgeat ginger fizz drinks sans gin with an espresso and cappuccino.

Google
High end dining experience. Waitress could not have been more helpful and authenticly wanted me to enjoy my visit. Meals were on the pricey side but the experience was so worth it. Food was very good. Totally recommend Blue!

Google
New to the area and celebrated my birthday here for dinner. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great and the decor is beautiful, and the service is outstanding. Nico and Molly were kind, attentive, and a joy to be served by. The espresso martini was so good that I had a second one. Will definitely be back here for dinner!

Yelp
Delicious and great service - what more could you want! If I lived closer, would be a regular.

Yelp
This is a place I tend to revisit, so I figured I would update my review. One of my favorites is the blackened salmon sandwich without the bun. I also had their French onion soup which was also very good. If you are partaking, they also have a great drink menu.

Yelp
We just had my daughter's Sweet 16 at The Blue Grillhouse and it was amazing! April, the event coordinator, was a pleasure to work with and was very responsive and attentive. Having April and the Blue team in charge gave us all a great sense of confidence. Our guests are still raving about the cuisine, the friendly wait staff, the delicious appetizers and stations. With skilled bartenders and short wait times, the bar operated efficiently. The ballroom was quite lovely and could accommodate our large group. We enjoyed a great dancing party with a large enough dance floor for everyone! I could go endlessly about how wonderful our time at Blue was. I am very grateful to April, for making this such a beautiful and thrilling experience from beginning to end.

Yelp
I'm embarrassed that I grew up in the Lehigh Valley and it took until well after I'd moved out of the area to visit Blue. I attended a group brunch here and was blown away by the quality of the food and the service. I'm still thinking about the Cajun Braised Chicken Breast Étouffée months later. It was the envy of the table, and I would order it again and again. My wife was very happy with her burger and fries as well.

Yelp
Reservation for 13 no problem they said we have a private room for you. From the bartender to the server the service was excellent. The layout of the restaurant and ability to separate us from the other dinners was great. The food was also top notch. We had everything on the menu for appetizers and dinner. Everyone enjoyed the night and the dinner. Excellent Creme brûlée for desert

Yelp
Enjoyed my lack of lamb but especially enjoyed the chocolate mousse cake I got for dessert! This place has such a nice ambiance, with very attentive wait staff, and a nice long list of cocktails. I will warn the chocolate mousse cake was HUGE! Definitely too much for me to eat on my own, would recommend sharing with at least one other.

Yelp
We had a really nice meal here for the holidays. The service was great and so was the food. We got a little bit of everything and shared it all. I would love to come back here and try other entrees.

Yelp
Celebrated Father's Day a few days late. Excellent food and service. Love how they have a filet on the kids menu (although ours ofc had to order larger ones off the regular menu :-) It was a great experience all around.

Yelp
Came here for dinner and had such a great experience. There are a lot of options to choose from, even for gluten free eaters. All of the meals, whether it be a side/app/entree are HUGE. No one finished anything because everything was gigantic. Everything was absolutely delicious and our server was fantastic. We had our own room that comfortably fit 10 and it was both quiet and clean. This is a great place and I highly recommend.

Yelp
Lunch a few weeks ago was good. Our server didn't come back for beverage reorders. Appreciate the opportunity to comment.

Yelp
We went for a nice dinner and the vibes were very pleasant and quiet! I really enjoyed the dark ambience of the restaurant and how they maintain the place. Service was very friendly and attentive, which added to the positive review for us. Their appetizer portions are surprisingly BIG, so I definitely think the value is worth it there. We tried the featured swordfish entree - it was def a very meaty fish- flavours on the glass noodle was very sweet, I personally would prefer it a bit more savoury but was not bad! They are a steakhouse at the end of the day - but I like how fresh the seafood here tastes. Definitely coming back to try the steak and lobsters next time!

Yelp
We have been here twice, and both times were amazing! We love the ambiance, service, and the food is excellent. Of course, expect to spend some $$$ for dinner; we limit it to special occasions. We plan to return for our ten year anniversary this winter.

Yelp
Recently went here for a friend's birthday & was impressed. Our server was very attentive and accommodating. The bread was tasty, especially the whipped butter - which was a nice touch. The calamari was average. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the duck breast. I ordered it medium rare (as advised by our server) and it was very delicious. To top it off, my friend got a HUGE slice of the blue's hula ice cream cake & it was absolutely delicious! Not to mention that all 12 of us were able to taste it! A little expensive, but it has a great ambiance and food. Would come here again!

Yelp
Stopped here on our way to son's hockey game. Was very pleasantly surprised. Very nice restaurant area and equally nice bar area. Service was great and we only had apps but they were great. So.... Next time we were in the area we went again more prepared and they did not disappoint. All the food was great.

Yelp
Back again to Blue for another great dinner. I ordered the Grilled Lamb chops this time. My wife tried the Steak Frites. The chops were cooked perfectly and were delicious although not very fond of the mashed potatoes. Overly spiced and needed to be hotter. My wife's steak was also cooked perfectly and tasted great. Finished it all off with the Hula Ice Cream cake. Totally awesome!

Yelp
We came to blue for a birthday celebratory meal on a Friday at 6. Making reservations online was simply and easy through open table. We arrived and were promptly seated. Friday was a good time it seemed less crowded. Our server Tammy was attentive and friendly and delivered top notch service! We ordered short rib tacos, bacon wrapped scallops, Caesar and chopped salad, blue burger, and the sea bass. I like the scallops and Caesar saiad the best for apps and the Sea bass so AMAZING with an Asian twist - SO good. Everything was hot and delicious. Lastly my boyfriend was served the complimentary Hula pie for his birthday which is always fantastic. Highly recommend Blue they always get it right! Relaxing atmosphere and perfect meal!

Yelp
Blue Grillhouse is a gorgeous restaurant with amazing atmosphere. Yellowfin Tuna Tartare was absolutely delicious with chips as well as without chips, by itself. Strawberry Arugula Salad with strawberry poppyseed dressing and shaved parmesan cheese was very good. Butter Almond Cake had subtle almond flavor and was moist.

Yelp
I'm just passing thru town and I'm looking to have a nice meal. The front desk at my hotel recommended Texas Roadhouse?? I made a reservation for Blue Grillhouse based on Yelp recommendations. Blue Grillhouse is a large space. There is an outdoor patio where it seems guests are enjoying libations. I'd like to dine inside where it's cooler so I'm shown to a small table. I ordered an Old Fashioned and then the bread basket comes to the table. That's a damn good bread basket! For my main meal I ordered a sexy 14oz Ribeye and a side of broccolini. Since I'm one person, the side of broccolini was a very large portion. The Ribeye was cooked very well, it was a little on the thin side and some parts were fatty. They're commanding a premium price for this Blank Angus steak so I didn't expect the Ribeye to have these issues. Blue Grillhouse is nice place to dine Al Fresco or in a fashionable dining area.

Yelp
We have been going to Blue for numerous years mostly for Sunday Brunch. We know the chef and many of the managers Today's breakfast was the worst ever The waitress had no clue what she was doing The manager tried his best to accommodate us but also to no avail When he saw the numerous problems with the order that was brought out totally incorrect and since we are good customers he should have said breakfast is on us for several problems But he said next time you come back we will do better. No need to discuss the breakfast problems but a fine restaurant like Blue it is unacceptable to have such ridiculous problems just for a breakfast of eggs. The waitress messed up but the manager didn't handle the situation correctly not for frequent customers like my girlfriend and I. But. Yes we will be back. This doesn't usually ever happen. Just a not fun time going here especially when we chose this restaurant of so many other choices to eat.

Yelp
Wonderful decor and ambiance. Great upscale outdoor seating area for nice weather. We enjoyed sitting near a trickling waterfall or fountain. Servers are excellent but the kitchen takes their time. Great place for a leisurely meal. Grilled salmon sandwich was ok. Next time I'll try something different. Lately,I've been finding cooked salmon too fatty for my taste, in all restaurants. The side salad I chose as a side with my sandwich was excellent. Generous amount of pine nuts. I did not care for the strawberry dressing I requested on the side. Nor did I care for the horseradish cream sauce I requested on the side and put on my sandwich; it tasted like plain yogurt with almost no horseradish; I had been hoping for that radish kick. The salmon sandwich might be better with the aioli it's supposed to be served with, but I tend to dislike aioli, so I skipped that condiment. My favorite dish was the almond cake served with what seemed like homemade blueberry sauce made with fresh blueberries. Neither the cake nor the blueberry sauce was very sweet; seemed healthy. I was very surprised but pleased that the food in this restaurant, in general, was blander than I expected. Kitchen is not heavy on salt, herbs, spices or sugar. I joked with my husband that the chef must have worked in a nursing home. You can't always get what you want, you get what you need. I tend to be better off with bland food. So I'm content.

Yelp
My wife and kids took me to Blue Grillhouse last evening to celebrate a milestone birthday, and it just couldn't be more perfect. We were very quickly seated in a comfortable area of the restaurant. Familiar tunes were lightly playing, never too loud or distracting. The layout is ideal in that there is plenty of space between seated parties. Our server, Tammy, came out to introduce herself and take our drink orders. Everything came out quickly and correctly. For starters, my wife ordered the lobster bisque an raved about it. I tried a bit myself, and found it thick and creamy, with plenty of lobster pieces within. It was a hit. We also got crab dip with pita bread and bacon-wrapped scallops, equally was amazing. I chose the ribeye with lump crab on the side for my entre, and my family was divided through NY Strip, Chicken, and Filet dinners. Each piece was cooked to requested temperature, served in appropriate timeline, and just wonderfully presented. For sides, we ordered french fries, mashed potatoes grilled mushrooms that were to die for, and asparagus. Everything was just over-the-top good. My family surprised me with a candle-topped Hula pie (two of them for the table, actually), and that was the best tasting dessert in recent memory. A must have to finish out your meal. I cannot recommend Blue enough to the steak lovers out there, and we will be back!!

Yelp
Always a great time and meal at Blue! Simply cannot go wrong w/ the Porterhouse steak, a side order of crab stuffed lobster tail, lobster mashed potatoes and some delicious asparagus drizzled with hollandaise sauce. Oh and don't forget to pair it with a wonderful full bodied Cabernet!! The service is always spot on - attentive but not intrusive - but the place is always crowded so plan ahead! Oh and it's a nice place - so dress up a little people. Just a collared shirt would go a long way please! Enjoy!

Yelp
Our family recently held a birthday party for 12 and repast luncheon for 40 at Blue Grillhouse. The food, service, and ambience were excellent. We got lots of compliments on the steak frittes and sofrito salmon dishes as well as the salads. Cocktails were well chilled and mixed.Desserts were generous and delicious. I would definitely add that planning these milestone events was extremely easy and professional with prompt communication and all details addressed. Guests appreciated the ample parking and our grandsons enjoyed the outdoor koi pond. Do hesitate to book the Blue Grillhouse!

Yelp
I continue to come back often because certain items are great, but as I continue to explore there are too many items that are just ok. For this price you would want everything to be a hit. I tried their Sea Bass Soup - it was really mediocre, too much of just tomato soup with small chunks of fish My NY steak was tasty but incorrectly cooked. Ordered a medium rare and got a medium to medium/well looking steak. I stand by ordering the lobster bisque & bbq chicken flatbread for appetizers, steak options for your entree, and mashed potatoes for your sides (lobster mashed is not worth it - taste isn't much different and you're almost paying double).

Joseph F.

Yelp
Super popular. Almost no parking left in a large lot. Reservations are a great idea. The food is high quality but the lobster bisque was almost room temperature, and the steak and sides were salty to the point that you could chew salt crystals in every bite. We got a free slice of ice cream cake for my birthday. If I go back, I may try to see if I can ask for less salt.

Yelp
Our go to for amazing food! Our family frequents this restaurant often! Strong recommend!

Yelp
Delicious food, great service. We were accommodated with a high chair for my toddler and sling for my infant car seat. While there is no kids' menu, the chicken parmigiana flatbread appetizer made for a great dinner for my toddler. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Lobster tail special was delicious. Waitstaff- both our waiter and others- were very friendly. The ambiance is very nice with music at the perfect volume to hear your table but not surrounding patrons. Dress is business casual.

Yelp
Here for a business meeting and was not disappointed. We started with the Ahi Tuna, the Crab Dip, and the Boneless Chicken Wings. All was fantastic and right-sized for sharing. The Manhattans were spot on (with a Luxardo cherry added). The filets were tender and flavorful. The sea bass was well liked but the real winner was the Rack of Lamb. It was so good that we ordered a second plate to share for dessert! We ate in the dark wooded dining room which was appropriate for our meeting, but I sensed a lively vibe coming from the patio crowd and more of a locals-only feel in the bar. Not uninviting but they all seemed to be regulars. Maria was our server and she was very engaging and knowledgeable about the menu, the sister restaurants and the wine list. Parking seemed pretty full when we arrived but the lot was large and we lucked into a front row spot.
google avatar

Brad T.

Yelp
Sides were great! Service at the table was great. My $51 steak had chewy gristle that should have been cut away, and was served warm, not hot. My $13 mango martini was really just mango juice. If there was any vodka in there it would surprise me. My wife's dry martini was served dirty. The front desk took 15 minutes to seat us in a half empty restaurant with a reservation. I've had better meals for a 1/3 of this price.

Yelp
The nicest restaurant I visited in the Bethlehem/Easton area. Beautiful building with a large outdoor bar and patio, where I ended up sitting. Great service and really good food (I had the sea bass). Even splurged for the ice cream cake, which was huge, but delicious. Highly recommend this place and will go back if I'm ever in the area again.

Yelp
Never disappoints. Good service simple meal well prepared. Great ambience. I definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
Let me begin with saying GABBY is one hell of a server. She's the whole package. Cannot tell you enough how exceptional this establishment is. From the moment you walk in you are met with a feeling of warmth. She is so PASSIONATE about her work and it definitely shows. Great drinks and food is top notch. I really enjoy the crab Mac and cheese. It was so juicy and just melted away in your mouth with every bite. There's something about the recipe that just takes you away to a special place every time you take a bite. The seating is off the charts!!! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE RESTAURANT I LOVE IT HERE.

Yolanda D.

Yelp
Everything was awesome! Had such a nice time celebrating our anniversary, our server Justin was amazing and we will definitely be back!

Nancy D.

Yelp
The good stuff first - service was excellent - from the waiter who made sure we got our steaks done exactly right to the busboy to the extremely competent bartender who made a perfect Cosmo. Steaks were great, peppercorn sauce was very good, excellent wine choice, french fries were wonderful (crispy and not too skinny) and the sauteed mushrooms were excellent with the steak. Lobster bisque had a great flavor. Chocolate ice cream was delicious! Noise level was pretty good considering the lack of sound absorption - probably the half walls around some tables helped. It's not an ugly restaurant but it's not elegant either - very dark wood which would look great with some white linen tablecloths. The lighting was decent without being harsh - enough light to read the menu comfortably. Enough room between tables to feel like you weren't in someone else's conversation. I do have some quibbles about some of the food - for example, why serve such large portions of vegetables? No one finished any of them and of course none of our party could agree on one vegetable for all. The horseradish sauce was good but it overwhelmed the flavor of the tenderloin and the red wine sauce was very vinegary. Caesar salad was just not good - the quality of the parmesan was questionable in that it was probably not an aged reggianno with a nice nutty flavor and dry texture and the dressing did not taste like a traditional Caesar. The creme brulee was lacking in texture and flavor, almost like the custard didn't contain the necessary number of egg yolks - it was very white and kind of flabby. These criticisms don't mean it was a bad restaurant - it wasn't. It just advertises itself as an above average dining experience and even has a dress code. Maybe this area has a problem with people showing up in sweat pants?? I just felt underwhelmed for the price - no tablecloths, plastic coated wood tabletops and not above average food. I know this sounds contradictory after what I've just said but it was still a pleasant experience - nothing special but friendly and everyone was very accommodating. I would go there again with a better understanding of what to order.

Yelp
Restaurant review haiku ... My second visit Even better than the first Great cocktails and apps

Dee S.

Yelp
We had our Anniversary Dinner at the Blue. The food and the service were fantastic. They always make us feel special. We had the Sea Bass and the Dry aged steak. Both were top notch. The chef accommodated my food allergies, and all was fantastic. Anthony helped me with my wine selection, and he was spot on! Fantastic choice. The night was slow, very few diners in the restaurant. However, one loud couple was seated next to us. I felt this was unnecessary since the dining room was nearly empty at the time. Overall, wonderful celebration dinner.

Pete Z.

Yelp
Blue has slipped the last 2 times we went. I gave them the benefit of the doubt last time, maybe an off day. 3 of us went last Saturday and while my son's filet was very good, my ribeye and my wife's lamb were less than average. Steak had way too much fat, again. Lamb was tough. The crab mac n cheese very good as always. Just not living up to the cost. I must say the service provided was outstanding.

Ava H.

Yelp
Was there for my birthday. Service was good but drinks tasted like juice -no alcohol. My steak was so salty it burned my mouth and my boyfriend's steak was not cooked correctly. I came specifically for lobster mashed potatoes and crème brûlée. They were both the worst part. Lobster mashed was crispy and overdone, the crème brûlée was curdled.

Yelp
It explains your character by replying in such a disturbing manner. An establishment should never treat a person (s) the way we were treated. Your reply is very disappointing as your customers drives your business success. If a customer has a complaint, the correct course of action is to try to remedy the concern. In addition, All of your rebuttals are false not true and I will report you to the BBB. Your reply proves that this is a racist business. Please share the security footage as I will be very interested in reviewing it, as it will definitely tell the truth of the matter. Again, I urge any one of color to NOT PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT, BECAUSE YOU WILL BE TREATED AS SECOND CLASS. If you complain you will be called a liar and ridiculed. This is definitely a prejudice business. I do not wish to go back and forth with you regarding my poor experience with your restaurant. I hope we both learned a valuable lesson. I for one, leave the table when I am feeling mistreated and for your business to treat all of your customers with dignity and respect. It's unfortunate that this behavior is still prevalent. Hopefully, future customers will not have the same experience as myself. I do not expect a refund nor complementary gifts. A simple apology would have sufficed. Again, if anyone is being bullied it has been me. I am sure that your customers will really enjoy your correspondence.

Yelp
My friends, family, and I love the Blue! (Especially their amazing happy hour deals on the patio! My favorite warm weather activity!) You can expect some of the tastiest mojitos ever. Can be a pricey menu... but so worth it. Friendly staff, high quality food, great vibes.

Tonilynn F.

Yelp
We have always loved Blue Grillhouse and all of the PAXOS establishments and visit all frequently, HOWEVER last night at BLUE GRILLHOUSE what a disappointment from my Old Fashion cocktail which had NO cherry and NO orange peel to our Duck Breast which (as someone who has been in the business) we could tell sat under the hot light too long. 42$ duck dinner was cold and dry. The plate was warm the duck was not. The lamb chops which are another favorite were served before they had time to sit which in turn causes the blood to puddle on the plate and the mash potatoes were like a cold rock. The steak frites dinner was killed, overcooked, dead and the sea bass was awful fishy for sea bass known for its mild white flakey meat. We wondered if the staff was preoccupied, was their "B" team or what was going on. We are somewhat particular foodies which is why the Paxo brand restaurants, Savory Grill and Ocean are our go to spots in the Lehigh Valley. We were to sadly say disappointed. We understand the business and a bad night however there were so many things at one table to even bother the waiter.

Yelp
My fiancé made reservations at Blue to celebrate my 25th birthday. The atmosphere of the grillhouse is upscale and romantic. Anthony was our waiter and gave us incredible service. He was super knowledgeable about the menu and had a fantastic attitude. As for the food, we ordered apps and entrees. We shared the bacon wrapped scallops and the stuffed oysters. Both were amazing, but the oysters had the edge and I would highly recommend them. You also get house bread and whipped butter at your table. Entrees: My fiancé ordered a filet mignon with a side of yukon gold potatoes. I ordered the Duck Two Ways. My fiancé said his meal was delicious, and I have to agree that mine was too! As a nice birthday surprise, the restaurant gave us a HUGE scrumptious piece of complimentary ice cream cake, crusted with cookie and topped with fudge and fresh whipped mascarpone cream. I loved my experience & food here and will return!

Yelp
I was in town for a business trip. Standard restaurants are usually steakhouses. FRIED CALAMARI is lovely to share. I eat very little so I opted for the FILET MIGNON 6 OZ. Pairs very well with the horseradish or the herb butter. For dessert go for the ALMOND BUTTER CAKE. ENJOY!

Yelp
One of our special occasion Go-tos. The ambiance is great, wait staff is incredible and I've never had a less than exceptional meal! The green goddess salad is a favorite.

Josephine C.

Yelp
We recently had a birthday lunch at Blue Grillhouse, July 22,2024. The Calamari was very good. I had the lobster roll for $24. It was a spilt toasted unattached bun held together with a large pick, you could not pick this up. I had a hard time finding the lobster, it was mostly diced celery. My sister had the Corned Beef Reuben for $17.50. It was a big disappointment. The wine for $13 a glass could be a little larger, I realize Bidenomics is in play. I will say the ambiance was nice, and our waitress, Jada, was excellent.

Yelp
Happy hour is a great value with nice atmosphere. The regular menu is good but WAY TOO EXPENSIVE and everything is ALA CARTE. Be prepared to spend $150 on dinner for 2 even without alcohol. That too rich for my blood. Another example off a good restaurant that got to big for its britches and caters to the elite only.
