Absolutely awesome! The fish was cooked perfectly! The bacon wrapped shrimp- delicious and actually wrapped in bacon, not just fat. The hush puppies are handmade and light. Not like others just clumps of dense dough. The service was excellent as well. We will be back often! Don't skip out on this place.

I’ve been craving good seafood and haven’t been able to find any since I’ve moved back to cypress unless I want to spend crazy money at Pappadeaux’s. The photos and reviews gave me hope for this place. I was so disappointed when I left. The restaurant was dirty. Visible stains and debris on the floor. And the place had an unpleasant smell. I ordered a shrimp and stuffed crab combo. Everything tasted freezer burned and was way over cooked. The stuffed crab were confusing. What are they stuffed with?? Was it mushy rice? Breadcrumbs? I couldn’t tell. And the taste was not good. The shrimp were rubbery and were cooked so long that white stuff was oozing through the breading. The fries were the best thing on the plate. I wanted to love this place so bad. I guess I’ll keep looking.

Really good seafood at very affordable prices with excellent service. The hush puppies alibe are worth the trip. The bacon wrapped shrimp is delicious. The salads taste and feel fresh. The thousand island dressing is amazing.

ABSOLUTELY GREAT!!! They have homemade hush puppies... flounder and broiled shrimp was great. You have to try their food... very reasonably priced. Definitely coming back again...

We had the daily special, which was very nicely breaded fried food. It was quite tasty! It comes with a fish filet, popcorn shrimp, a stuffed crab, and hush puppies which seem to be cooked LIKE A FUNNEL CAKE!! (Yum!!) We chose French fries instead of a baked potato. They also have grilled seafood on the menu, but we didn't try it. There is a separate menu on each table of Mexican style mariscos dishes, which we also didn't try. The atmosphere is fine for a strip center restaurant, and the service was great!

This is our favorite seafood place. We have been here multiple times, and every time we have excellent fresh and flavorful seafood. Our kids love the flounder fillet and my husband and I share the seafood platter. The deviled crab and their hush puppies are my favorites. The service is friendly and personal, they remember us as soon as we walk in, and they are sweet to our kids. Definitely give it a try if you are a seafood fan.

I was craving oysters. Found this place on google. Our server was amazing but the food was horrible! I asked for grill garlic oyster and it came out with a foul smell and A HAIR on my plate. Our server was nice to give me a chance to order another plate but I lost my appetite. My husband had grilled chicken with broiled jumbo shrimp and it was okay, we had better ones. At least we came by to test it out but would not recommend or come back.

I was able to eat a delicious meal gluten free! Blue Harbor made my food from scratch and made it to my specifications. I ordered a mixed shrimp and octopus "mixto cocktel", which is sort of like ceviche with a tomato base. It was filled with nice sized shrimp (not baby shrimp) and octopus. Even without jalapeños or onions, it was slightly spicy, but super fresh and tasty! I also ordered a tostada. The scallops were tiny, but very soft and tender. The cilantro and avocado were a wonderful touch. Others in my party ordered the fried catfish, which they raved about and said it was the best they tasted. And coming from someone who is super picky about their food, it was a huge compliment. I was not able to eat the hush puppies, but the others in my party and people in the other Yelp reviews, all claim that it is a far superior hush puppy then they have ever had. All made in-house. The restaurant is quite new and does not seem to have very many patrons. Let's all support this local restaurant! They have two separate eating areas, which would make for a wonderful gathering place. And there are more than enough parking spaces. Everything tasted very fresh and made to order. The hostess/waitress was sweet, unbelievably accommodating and had no issues answering my questions about ingredients and changing up the dishes to fit my allergies. No wonder others in my family love this place! I will definitely go back!

This place recently opened, so we came by to check it out. We had early dinner on a Monday afternoon and my husband and I were the only customers. Within 5 minutes of being there, two bigger crowds came in. The lady who helped us was very kind and welcoming. We ordered a combination plate, catfish and shrimp, grilled flounder with grilled shrimp and steamed veggies. Both dishes came with hush puppies. I also ordered a tostada de aguachiles. We also ordered 6 piece wings, 3 naked, 3 hot. The grilled dish came with a house salad or you could pick coleslaw. The house salad was ehhh, (I'm not a fan of iceberg lettuce) your typical toppings, cheese, cucumber, tomato and your choice of dressing. The wait wasn't terribly long, especially since the lady serving us was pretty much doing it all on her own. Our dishes came out and they looked great. The flavor on both the fried and grilled dishes was excellent. The food was fresh and hot. The aguachiles tostada was so good! Just the right amount of spice and the crispiness of the purple/red onion was superb. Nothing fancy about the wings, but who comes to a seafood restaurant expecting the best wings. Since they recently opened, they were offering free drinks, which was nice of them. This place has potential, just needs the right amount of traffic. I definitely see myself coming back for the aguachiles. I wish the business success.

Blue Harbor is a newly opened seafood restaurant that isn't easily seen from FM 1960 but the Yelp location is accurate. There is plenty of parking available. Inside it's a large restaurant with a nautical decor. I visited for lunch and ordered the Friday special. It is a fillet of fried flounder with baby shrimp and comes with cole slaw, hush puppies, and a choice of fries, steamed veggies or a baked potato for $13. The food arrived less than 15 minutes later. I started with the small cup of slaw and liked it. There were a lot of fried shrimp (small to medium size) on the plate and one curled up piece of fish. Definitely more shrimp than fish. Taste wise they were good. The hushpuppies are not round but oblong in shape and had a good cornmeal taste. Finally the baked potato was hot and came with butter and sour cream on the side. This meal was a lot of food for the price and everything tasted good. The table service was warm and friendly. The lunch menu here is relatively inexpensive and the dinner menu rises in price by about 100%.

FOOD IS AMAZING! Hidden gem !!! The food is hot, fresh and delicious! Freshly prepared when you order and delightfully perfectly fried in fresh grease - fish was also not greasy at all and sides were flavorful and very satisfying! Biggest tip - put the address into maps or google do not use yelps directions . Best fish in area !!!

This is a great family owned restaurant. My plate was well seasoned and hot. I tried the Fried Platter everyday special. They offered plain batter or salt and pepper. It was delicious and a great value. They even make a homemade hush puppy. I will be back, and I will recommend it to my family and friends.

The food is amazing. Service was excellent, very attentive! Ambiance is old school captain of the sea, it works with the menu.

Blue Harbor is an excellent, casual seafood restaurant. It is relatively new to the area. My husband & I had a late lunch there today. He had the fried catfish, I had the broiled flounder and jumbo shrimp. The sides we chose were coleslaw, hush puppies (very tasty) and steamed veg's (broccoli, cauliflower and carrots). I highly recommend trying this place.

The food was amazing, I hate hush puppies and when I had theirs, oh my godddd they were incredible. The tartar sauce was very clearly made from scratch and absolutely delicious. 10/10 Oh yeah, the slaw was amazing, and so was the catfish and shrimp

Went on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. We were the only ones in the restaurant, I think that if you could see them from 1960 they might get better traffic. Food was good! We ordered the jumbo fried shrimp and fried Cod fish. It was lightly battered which was nice because you can taste the food. Nice size portions too. Service was fast and she was very nice. The only negative I would say would be the music they were playing, it seemed like it would be music you would hear in a Chinese movie. Great place and tasty food overall!

We visited this restaurant Friday evening and we enjoyed our meals. The food was fresh and had great flavor. We are definitely going back.

Food was amazing. Service was amazing! Very nice inside. I loved it. Had a big group and they took us in with no problems. Even let us log into our fubo account to watch some college football.
