Blue Ice Cafe

It is an OK place to hang out as you wait to get your ride. The tiny cafe has machine vending coffee which is sub-par. A few limited snacks like pizza are probably frozen and heated to serve. Don’t expect anything special. As I said it is basically a place to hang out till you get you ride by Blue Ice Tours. This cafe also serves as their office. Nearby is a museum.

Good coffee (from a machine) and fresh muffins. Spectacular location. Lost a star because it needs a proper bannister on the stairway.

Nice coffee shop with a view expensive souvenirs. Light snacks and coffee/tea and ice cream. There are detailed maps on the wall showing different hikes in the area, the naps are also for sale. A good place to wait for you flight as they also have monitor showing arrivals and departures. In the coffee shop Blur Ice Explorers have their office which give you a possibility to book excursions, transport and over night stays in the area of South Greenland.

Popular place for tourists and hikers. You can also book tours and ferries here. Blue Ice are probably the most organised travel agent in S Greenland. However the free WiFi is communal only.

Purchased a package tour for myself and my brother. It was great as accomodation & boat transfers were all set up in the package. All we had to do was get there and enjoy the vacation. We visited in the summer of 2022.

We bought all the missing equipment at the shop for a 21day johan dahl land trekking tour. He also drove us to the starting-point our trek by boat. A very good, friendly and trusty service by the blue ice coffee

Good place for the situation of the town. You can get sandwiches, cold and got drinks but don't expect too much. It is far away and a very small village
