I recently spent the eve of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2026 at Blue Martini, and the energy was absolutely electric.This spot is consistently trending in Scottsdale for a reason—they know how to throw a party that feels both upscale and welcoming. One of the coolest things about this venue is their rotating weekly lineup. While they host Honky Tonk Mondays and the famous "True Blue" Ladies Night on Wednesdays, I specifically went for R&B Night on Sunday. It was the perfect backdrop for the MLK celebration. When I walked in, the place was buzzing; half the crowd was finishing up watching the Bears game on the big screens, while the rest were already vibing to the music. As an Arizona school teacher, I have to be honest: the $25 cover charge felt a bit steep, especially since that only gets you standing room. If you’re planning to stay for more than a drink, I highly recommend making a reservation for a table. They have a great dance floor, but actual seating is limited and fills up fast! ​The service was modern and sharp despite how packed it was. I treated myself to the shrimp cocktail and a fresh fruit plate, both of which were delicious and felt "on-brand" for such a trendy spot. Just a heads-up for my fellow budget-conscious visitors: between the cover, a couple of their signature martinis, and food, you’re looking at a $100–$150 night per person. ​If you love a lively, well-dressed crowd and great music, it’s worth the splurge. Just check the schedule before you go so you know which theme you’re walking into!

Wonderful diverse safe place to dance, dine, drink and have fun. My host Brittany really knows how to take care of her V. I. P clients feel special. She made my birthday party an unforgettable event. The serving staff, the bartenders, the management and security staff are all deserved top shelf. I love this place.

Visited to celebrate my bday on a Sunday night. The spot is huge with inside and outside seating. The DJ was great playing music from different cities. The food and drinks were great. The vibe of everyone just celebrating by dancing and having a great time made this place unique. The live band made it a bonus!!

I had a great time at the Blue Martini on Sunday night in Phoenix Arizona. The food was delicious the atmosphere was lively and the live band sang everything from the 70s 80s 90s to today. And the DJ was Poppin also

A Thursday night surprise! I was impressed most by the ambiance and environment particularly the live band playing in the patio bar. I opted for a happy hour menu item.. shrimp in a martini glass that was very tasty and a margarita. I recommend this High Street spot for a night out especially for the live music and dancing. Lots of fun!

Typical crowded Scottsdale bar. Had to pay a cover charge to get in on a Saturday night. Drinks were strong, but pricy. Crowd was a little older on 80's night. Our friends chose this place to meet. We are not really interested in returning here. There are many more interesting places with more action in downtown Scottsdale.

Oh my goodness! Celebrating a close friend's 50th birthday party here was incredible. The staff was superb and top notch. The drinks are perfectly mixed and more consistent than any other fine establishment I've been to in a while. The live DJ music was loud and awesome, creating an almost club-like atmosphere on a Saturday night. The food was extremely flavorful and taste bud shattering! It's definitely hard to choose from all of the amazing menu options. You can't go wrong with this establishment.

Everything was literally perfect, had an amazing time definitely going to be a new spot of mine. And I love that we can smoke cigars on the patio as well.

Great times dancing and HH is fantastic! Love it when they have live music, it's a whole vibe! And if you think weird stuff is going on, there is! Lol

This place has always been a great place to celebrate birthdays or any festive occasion or just sit outside and relax on the patio. This was Raven's 17th Annual Halloween Bash. It was very crowded but if you are an event planner you can reserve a private area to host your event. Raven always knocks it out of the park with her events so check her out as well. SUPERHERO BAND ROCKED IT. This is one of my favorite bands. Their energy and talent is contagious!!!! Sunday nights are a relaxing vibe. I have been coming here for years. Parking is also pretty easy and the area has a lot of restaurants to stop in as well.

Blah. I'm old and there were so many old people there. Drinks were average. Music level was satisfactory. Idk. Just not my cup of tea.

A first visit for us and we were not disappointed. Live music by Bourbon Strut was dynamic, full of energy, with great audience interaction. Had a couple of different types of martinis.. must try the blue martini.. had a buffet of sliders, margarita flat bread, artichoke dip, Brie in puff pastry, and Thai chicken skewers. We reserved tables near the stage and did not regret it. Service was phenomenal considering how busy it was. Felt like we were at an upscale concert!

Love this place. Everyone is always so friendly and live music is fantastic. We had the Brie (yummy), flat bread, and chocolate cake. I couldn't believe that everything was so tasty and beautifully plate.

Came to Blue Martini on a Friday night because my friend's band Neon was playing that evening. Was a pretty cool place and had good drinks. We ordered a Bulleit Old Fashioned and a Moscato along with a Spinach Artichoke Dip. Our waitress was fast and friendly. Had a blast. Good drinks, good food, good music, and even better company

This is a great place if your trying to catch some live music and a drink while in the area. They definitely have a great staff, as far as quality of food ... it's ok. Honestly that's alright though I have a feeling it's more of a music / drinking bar. Overall I would come back again but the competition is fierce for something like this and there are some other options.

Funtasticly fun lounge!! The live band was an unexpected surprise and they were rockin' ! After the band, there was DJ music that did not disappoint. There was not a lot of space for dancing as there were high top tables near the stage. After a certain hour, I think they should be removed for dancing space. I went on a Friday and got there early in the night, thankfully because the house was packed by the end of the night. Fun place for a night out.

I have never written a review before but this was one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. The management would not know how to correct a problem if their life depended on it. Ten of us arrived for happy hour and to listen to a band we like, out door space with misters on very nice then the misters go off. We ask to have them turned back on but the mtg says it has to be 108 to have them on. It was never 108. It continued to get worse from there after spilled drinks and very poor service, forgot orders 45 minutes for a slider order for one of us. Bad bad bad . I blame the management for it not the waitress. No training for the staff and mediocre food and drinks. Will never go back.

A great place to dine or dance, I prefer to dance! I have never heard a band here that I didn't enjoy. Bartenders are very friendly; waitresses are scantilly dressed, but if you have it, flaunt it! Love the Blue card!

Okay this place is bumping!!! The live music did not disappoint at all! The live band played late 80's and 90's hits. Finally, a place for the grown and sexy!!!i It was a bit crowded but that did not stop anyone from dancing. Yep, folks even did the Wobble on the dance floor, LOL. I found my spot! An elder gentleman ( maybe in his 60's 70's) jumped up and did a split. I was nervous he got stuck and couldn't get back up by my man knew what he was doing. Lmboooo!!! I'm not saying this place is filled with old folk,. I'm saying that if you are 21 and up, want a spot to dance , and the crowd is respectful; then this is the place for you. In between the live sets,,the music was great as well. Late 90's to present was played. Hip Hop all night!!!! There was a $10 cover and they do serve food. I did not eat anything but the food looked good.

Literally the worst night life experience I have had since moving to Scottsdale 3 years ago. Have 5 girlfriends in town from CA for my birthday, wanted to go out in north Scottsdale. Rude staff and insane cost for drinks and an encounter with the staff that left my friend from CA in tears. Will NEVER go back unless they change hands! Go to CB Live, Kimmy's, Rooster, Chauncy's.

Don't waste your time or money with this joke of an establishment. Nothing about this place was Upscale. Not the staff, not the crowd, No ball caps while they have people with hoodies, beanies and fedora hats inside? What kind of weird reverse discrimination is this? What kind of business are these amateur's running? We saw several people not get carded, frisked or made to pay a cover even though we had to. Here take my $15 for cover lol You're going to need it more than I will. But my $15 will not save your failing business. Get the money while you can from the people that have it cause obviously your patrons don't spend enough money which is why your workers looked so miserable. This place smelled like sweat and vomit and cheap cigars. Far from upscale. Stay far far away from this place. Will not return.

I had thee best time at Blue Martini. It's where the mature and sexy come to play. The overall vibe had to be 35 and up. Our server Carly made my first visit to AZ amazing. Quick story: We had arrived for HH and barely caught it. All sets were filled on the patio and the inside was where the main attraction was: the live music. We're standing at the bar waiting to be acknowledged as time ticks closer to HH ending and tbh I really assumed they were going to continue to ignore us until they felt like it... not even a simple " I'll be right with you." Sooo.. i was a little turned off, thinking this may not be where i want to be spend my night and all the money I was ready to spend on drinks and food. In slides Carly! I smiled and she asked me if I'd been helped or whatever and I simply asked was it possible to get a couple drinks before HH ended. She asked what we wanted and instantly told the ppl at the bar what it was and told them it was a HH request. I was instantly impressed. She was busy, place was LITERALLY PACKED and I told her I was excited to be there and that i was visiting from MN and it was my first time to AZ. Once I said that, she made sure I had an amazing night. She held down a table for us and reserved a table for me so that we could go inside and listen to the live music without losing our table (and having to stand all night with these heels we had on. LOL). She told me she was from Philly and from there I was pretty amazed by her and really hope this establishment knows what kind of an amazing server they have on their hands. She made me feel extremely special and being an out-of-towner, that goes far. Food: I had a lot of things. LOL Spinach & Artichoke Dip Baked Brie Fish and Shrimp Tacos Oven Roasted Wings Blue Martini Pomegranate Some Lemon Drops.. and i few things else that I don't remember Ambiance: Upscale Live Music venue In and outdoors/Patio Parking is hard, but there are ample parking spaces Place gets paaaaaacked Business crowd/Grown and Sexy/Everyone is just happy to be out post Covid Service: Other than the initial bartenders not speaking, the rest of the night was held down by Carly. Even security was pretty nice at the door (I'd arrived early at HH before they were doing security) and I didn't have proof that I'd paid to get in because I hadn't, it wasn't required yet. The security was cool and said he remembered me walking out. THANKFULLY! I suggest you ask for Carly! Tell her the girl from MN sent you!

Went here with pals and even though I didn't stay long it is a pretty hip spot! It's in Desert Ridge Mall. There's plenty of parking surrounding the area. I think that people are staying to get out more these days which is good! There was no line which was surprising but I've noticed that humans are going out later at night, like 11ish. Unfortunately that's past my bed time but, if you want a place to go to wine down on a Fryyah... this would be a great place to do so.

Amazing Cigar Bar with outdoor seating and live music on some evenings. Service is impeccable, Staff is so friendly!! Been going here for 10+yrs!? Highly recommended!!

We love the live music, I think the menu could expand, not a lot of choices, what we did have, it was pretty bland and the wings were definitely over cooked, dried out. I would go back to hear the music. I do need to let you know that their beer and their cocktail pricing is a bit stout they charge me 650 for a bottle of Bud light.

Amazing Sunday night performances by Reminisce, a live band (a brother & sister duo) that sings 90's R&B (live drums, bass, electric guitar & keyboard). The lounge is cute, dance floor area is decent and there's a nice patio with open seating. All the indoor seats are for reservations except those at any of the two bars inside. The Blue Martini drink is delicious! I usually go solo but i always seem to meet nice, cool new people there. They do serve some bar food, but I've never eaten anything personally. I cannot believe i get to see this band perform for free!!! They are insanely talented!! They start at 9pm- about midnight. There is a cover fee after 8pm, I believe, call and ask! Dress is casual but a lot of folks dress up nice. The crowd is mature mostly (30's & 40's), but I've seen plenty older and younger people too. I always have so much fun!! Parking is free too! It's usually pretty full on holidays, so get there in enough time to sit in the free areas!

This is a cool night club off High Street. With great wait staff and a fun atmosphere. The drinks in this place are however very expensive and if your not careful you will pay a pretty penny for them. Other than that it's really great place to take your girlfriend out dancing or to enjoy a few drinks at the bar. Gets a solid 4 out of 5 in my book.

Been here a few times and it's been fine. Live in the neighborhood. I don't do this but very annoyed about my experience. First off, the bartender working was great. She took care of us. Give her a raise. My disappointment was the servers. Was meeting my wife and some friends there so I grabbed a table. First come first serve for happy hour on a Thursday . Cool understand that. No server came by ..not for water.. not to say hello .. never. Waiting for probably 20 minutes nobody stop by..so we went to the bar for drinks. Other tables around us came in and got helped asap. Not us. I found it weird that myself being an (African American, black guy, etc) and then another gentlemen ( African American) not part of my party not getting service. But everyone around us was taking care of. Even folks that came after us, server was there asap. You probably get where I'm going. Or this is just Thursdays. Brought it up to the server that had the tables around us . No sorry, no helping us to maybe turn it around. Just said she saw us go to the bar and gave us shoulder shrug like Michael Jordan in the NBA finals. I don't leave reviews but this shit was Terrible Terrible Terrible! We won't be back to this place but they won't care. This shit will keep rolling. In summary bartender was awesome give her a raise, the server ..terrible. Also to the unhelpful servers .. we worked in service industry too....talk shit about us in the kitchen, not in front of us. Be blessed

What a blast!! Classy, comfortable, clean and exceptional service. I want to express a sincere THANK YOU to the club manager, Chuck and his tentative team! We had SUCH blast last night and appreciate you and your team's exceptional service and awesome energy!! It was a packed house and they didn't miss a beat! We don't live close, but will make a point to return (especially for those lamb chops!!) Blue Martini is a safe and classy place with great food,(and people watching)! Beautiful, tentative team you guys have, thank you for providing us with a great night!

We danced, sipped, watched people, and had a great time! The live band brought us in. The ambiance and fun people helped to create a memorable experience. I'll be back!! The menu was ok. Food took a while. Our drinks stayed full though lol Nice place.

Came here for happy hour and had a mixed experience. Upon walking in I was told I could not wear my hat, which I initially was ok with until I noticed other guests wearing hats. I guess because I wore a baseball cap and someone else had a bucket hat, it makes a difference? Ordered a few drinks to start. One of the drinks arrived in a cracked glass (which is incredibly dangerous) but the bartender did of course remake the drink. We also ordered some food which did taste good. The Thai chicken was a favorite. However, the overall restaurant had a very dirty feel to it and the bathrooms were not pleasant at all. This place is in a good spot on high street and I think with a little more attention to detail and cleanliness a lot of these issues could be avoided.

We came on Thursday for Latin Night with live music & I thoroughly enjoyed myself...even though I couldn't eat. The kitchen makes the majority of their food during the day, so no type of accommodations were offered, not even sparing the minuscule amount of Bruschetta toppings to go with heavily salty tortilla chips. No fret, I enjoyed a good glass of Cab while I Salsa dance as the performers were energetic & engaging with the customers while belting out favorite Latin hits. Our tatted up Server handled four tables & did it like a pro. There's no cover until 9pm, afterwards it's $10. Not sure if Valet service is present as it wasn't visible upon pulling up. One of many lounges/restaurants amongst the Work, Live & Play here development, so noise level inside & out is pretty loud. Sundays are R&B Nights playing old school music. I'll make my way back for a Sunday visit.

We had a lovely experience on a Friday for happy hour this week. At 5pm many tables were available, and service was prompt and friendly. Ordered a Red Sangria (OMG yummy with Bacardi Dragonberry Rum, Pear, Merlot) and some spinach artichoke dip to start. Discounted happy hour appetizers and half of drinks makes for a lively dinner! The dip was served in a small crock with a crusty browned top and tortilla chips. It was very cheesy and gooey with a few pieces of artichoke. Bagged chips but who cares. Our very knowledgeable server has worked there fourteen years! She was awesome and made me wonder why it's been several years since I have been to Blue Martini! Friend arrived and ordered dirty Martini with both blue cheese stuffed and plain olives. I tried the Shake Your Tail Feather cocktail with Tequila, Pineapple, and Blueberries, very sweet. Next we ordered fish tacos $8 on HH, and Thai chicken skewers $14. The tacos were tiny but had succulent large pieces of fish with cabbage and crema. Verde sauce on the side. They were quite excellent and we ordered more. The chicken was four very generous skewers of tender chicken with peanut sauce. Accompanied by a nice Asian slaw, it was very filling and also highly flavorful and well prepared. Finally, another dirty Martini and I tried the JALAPEÑO PASSION FRUIT cocktail. It had Cucumber Jalapeno Tequila and was the best of the three. Not too sweet, just a little burn! I am sorry I did not take any pictures of the food, the presentation was lovely. I think the Blue Martini gets a bad rap which is undeserved based on my experience. The food this kitchen is turning out is really delicious, service was on point and cocktails were tasty!

Super fun place. Drinks are weak tho. Not sure how anyone gets buzzed. I had 2 and felt nothing at all. The band Suoerhero was amazing. Had a blast.

I want to thank everyone Blue Martini Lounge for making me feel so special on my Birthday. Blue Martini Lounge found out my first celebration on Friday night didn't go so well and they wanted to show me how a real Birthday celebration is done. They went above and beyond for me and literally erased Friday night. Tesha and DeDe are beautiful souls and spoiled me. The Manager Allen has the most amazing establishment and moving forward this is the only place I want to go.

Upscale Martini bar ...live music....great martini's....open air....the clientele would be considered 45 and up from what I could see. Will come back again.

Chuck the manager discriminates on who pays for cover charge and who doesn't. We have seen him let his friends and people he knows in without paying the cover charge. This is highly offensive considering the charge and drinks are very expensive for what this place is and is known for.

Oh the cigar and cigarette smoke on the patio.. Gross. Maybe eat inside if we try it again but the patio absolutely reeked and people have moving around because of the smoke . We came at 4 PM. The service is quite slow , They appear to be understaffed. The plus side was the margarita pizza and spinach dip.

Very Disappointed by what happened at one of our local watering holes, The Blue Martini this afternoon. My wife & I were going to another place on High Street for dinner when we heard the County Duo playing in the bar and we decided to stop for one drink. There were seats at the bar, but not two together, so we moved one chair and then I had my wife sit down while I went to pull over another chair from an empty table. I had just put my hands on the back of the chair when one of the hostesses ran over to tell me that I couldn't move a chair from a table to the bar. Having owned bars, I realize that you need to keep a service area open, but that was not the case here , as 1/3 of the bar was open and it looked like a couple of the few occupied tables had taken chairs from the bar leaving gaps. I respected their right to set their own policy, but I'm upset by what happened next. While I was trying to retrieve a chair from a table, the bartender told my wife that she couldn't sit in the chair that I had moved from lone side of a solo bar patron to the other side where there was room to place another chair. He said that she had moved the chair from a table and that she couldn't sit there. My wife felt humiliated. We are in our 60's, but like to go to Blue Martini for Happy Hour and sometimes we go late for the bands. We are regulars there even on the slow nights. The bottom line is, if you are over 50, this isn't a place that you will likely enjoy. It definitely is geared toward a "bottle-service Lambo driving crowd" and more power to them. But like any casino will tell you, If you cater only to high-rollers and treat the retail customers like crap, you won't be in business very long. And as an aside, what's with the "no ball caps" policy. As a lawyer, I'll say that "is a discrimination lawsuit waiting to be filed!". No hard feelings BM although you ruined my Father's Day by upsetting my wife, but you won't see us (and likely many of our friends who live across the street at The Toscana, come back anytime soon.

I've been going to Blue Martini for over 8 years on Sunday's to see Reminisce Band. Eric King, Celia King, Ira King, DBass, Steve. I love this band! I feel like I've gone to a free concert every time. If you're looking for something to do on Sunday night you must go. The staff is wonderful! Thanks Liz for taking care of me. Last but not least Blair, Manager. He is attentive, personable and really accommodating! I appreciate how I'm treated here as a long time patron.

I came on a Friday or Saturday night a few weeks ago with a friend. The place was almost dead. From the pictures I expected it to be exciting and people dancing everywhere. We were charged $10 per person for a coverage fee, as soon as we walked in we saw the place was not even busy. It was supposed to be prime time. Only a few people were dancing and the vibe was not it for me personally. I'd say maybe 20 people were there inside. I just think it's ridiculous to charge a coverage fee when the place looks like it needs more people. Definitely set me off and I won't be coming back. The bartender, I don't remember her name, she was very nice and made good drinks.

First time here and it was AMAZING!! You can't find a good grown and sexy place to chill and listen to live music but this place was it. I will e back.

This is my go to spot! Blue Martini is where all the lovely men and women come to Party and Enjoy love entertainment.. And not just from the band. Lol! The patio is perfect for those ladies and gentlthat want to smoke and enjoy a glass of wine or an ice cold brewery! The music is always from the DJ! This is such a wonderful place to enjoy live music and have an amazing evening! The band is phenomenal!! Impressive beyond your imagination, they belong singing on the radio!! The vibes in this place is awesome! I had fantastic service from the staff and bartender! The security is in sight and aware of the surrounding areas.. the people who are there are cool.. all ages are in this wonderful place. I do have to mention that you can't come in here without ordering the blue martini! It's fabulous and fancy, plus it tastes fantastic! You will definitely have a great time in here. Had a fantastic time on Friday night.. the band played a great variety of music, 70,80,90s and pop music & today's hits plus some country music.. yes!! Someone needs to discover this beautiful band and make them famous, blue martini obviously seems to see it and so does the crowd:)

I had an outer body experience at Blue Martini. From the moment you walk in to this place you can feel the vibrations of fun coursing through you. From the music, ice cold drinks, to the crowd - this place is the very definition of what a fun night out should be! Keep on rocking BML - till next time!

We went for happy hour. It was very pleasant sitting on the outside patio. Drinks and service were good. The food was also very tasty - they don't actually have a kitchen so it is pretty basic, but good. Nice time.

What a time! Luckily we didn't have to stand in the mile long line so it made our time even better. There were a ton of people but that's to be expected on a holiday weekend. We had a group of 12 and managed to find a comfortable spot to hang out. I thought the drinks were good but weren't too strong. The band was really good after they were done, the dj played really good music. I wish this place wasn't so far because I'd definitely go back more. I highly recommend

One of my favorite go-tos. Come here to see OG server Natalie. Always the best service on the patio. Love band on weekdays happy hour makes this place an easy stop for a martini and good atmosphere.

Super nice lounge in North Phoenix. Great cocktails and good food. They have live music that performs. If you go I recommend trying their signature Blue Martini... it's delicious

Yessssssss. This place has an unique approach to getting people in the door. First let's start with Happy Hour 7 days of the week [3 -7 PM]. Can't beat that, plethora of Martinis and menu items to choose from. You can come here every day for a month and won't have to try anything twice during that time. Love the atmosphere as it has indoor/outdoor seating. Street parking is limited but there is enough parking in the parking garage/structure. Come out and enjoy a nice and refreshing time, views.

I'm really disappointed with what blue martini has become since Covid. This use to be my go to destination for happy hour after work, unfortunately since Covid they have reduced the "size" of there martinis. Previously you would order your martini and get an additional shaker with the "leftovers" often resulting in 1-1/2+ glasses. The last two times I have come it has been a single glass no shaker. Which is unfortunate because I always felt like it was such a great happy hour deal. I wouldn't have even minded an extra dollar or so added to the price, but to completely eliminate the extra drink and a half makes this place overpriced and lackluster.

This is a dishonest place! Don't bother going there because they give on their website that their policy is before 8 PM it's free for people to come in after 8 PM it's five dollars for women and $10 for men. A group of my friends and I try to go there and they wanted to charge us $100-$500 for a table when we told them that we were just there to go to the bar have some drinks and dance we're not there for a table or any reservation. As a matter fact most people go there just for that they're not interested in tables unless they have a special occasion. Many people have complained to me that that place is sketchy and to not bother going there because you'll be turned away at the door because they want you to pay a higher price for tables and the rip you off.

Definitely you pay for the ambiance here. Good people watching, live music and over priced drinks unless you come here for happy hour. The later you come here, the more crowds you'll see. This place is a perfect place for girls night out or date night. We had flat bread and it was good actually, maybe because I was starving. I saw several people smoking at the patio which is fine with me as long as they don't smoke next to me. Will comeback here for dancing next time.

Great music and dancing venue. Food is decent too. Been coming for years and highly recommend if you enjoy pop music and dancing.
