Always excited to visit Blue Moon Bakery, they make delightful gluten free food! We found it open shortly before 9am today (8/23/24) and the selection was AMAZING, we had several flavors of scones to choose from in the freezer, ultimately picking white chocolate raspberry. I was having a hard time choosing between 3 mouth watering goodies at the counter and received some great guidance from the lovely staff. We enjoyed our savory breakfast sandwiches as well, one on the Asiago and chive, the other on the bacon and cheddar. You can’t go wrong here and we enthusiastically bring our guests to the bakery, gluten free or not!

Absolutely amazing! The BEST gluten free donut I have ever had! They were airy yet flavorful and baked to perfection. This cute little gluten free shop was so delicious. They have plenty of gluten free and dairy free options. Cookies, donuts, scones, pop tarts, pies, and many other treats! The fresh baked goods were just amazing but they also had a flash sale section in the freezer containing unsold goods from the day before for only $5. Some bags were marked dairy free which was so convenient. The staff was so sweet and helpful! There are also plenty of dried mixes you can buy and frozen ready to bake goods. The old fashioned and square stripped donuts and lemon poppy seed cookie were out favorites! We also tried the Boston cream, chocolate donut, strawberry pop tart, lemon poppyseed cookie, and dairy free lemon poppyseed donut and apple fritter!

My wife is gluten free and has craved specific savory/sweet treats that she can’t have. Now that we’ve found Blue Moon Bakery, she can enjoy all of her favorite treats again and they taste better than the gluten version! I love picking up from Blue Moon because I know it not only gives me a treat but, I get to see my wife smile.

Blue Moon is my favorite gluten free bakery in the whole Portland Area. Their donuts are crispy and they always have creative flavors. They have a frozen section with take home products, like pizza crusts. Definitely recommend giving them a try!

This place is a must stop for gluten free peeps especially!! I recently discovered them within the last 2 weeks and have already been 3 times lol. I have to say their maple bars are THE BEST gluten free donut I have found so far. They are still a little dense but that is just what I expect with it being gf. The younger girl with blonde hair has helped me 2 times and she is so sweet and always has good recommendations and I love her energy! The chocolate chip cheesecake bar is SO delicious, their blueberry scone and morning cake is amazing too. The old fashioned donuts are also super good I do have to say the maple donut (not the maple bar) has a little weird taste but it’s still good! The chocolate cookie thing they have with the white drizzle thing is SOOOO good too. They have so many options early in the morning so I would suggest to go then. I went around 2pm on a Tuesday and they were mostly sold out so if you want a good selection go early!! You gotta check this place out they are very friendly and have amazing pastries!!

As someone with a gluten allergy, Blue Moon Bakery has been one of my main go-to spots for several years, from the Beaverton Farmers Market to their current order-online-and-pick-up model. My favorites are their donuts and galettes, and whenever I get myself a treat, my partner (who is not gluten free) says he wouldn't be able to distinguish them from regular, wheat-based food. They also supply delicious baking mixes (which I've made for friends of all types of diets, to rave reviews). If you're gluten free, Blue Moon Bakery is a must :)

Yelp
I so wish we lived closer! I went opening week and the pastries were delicious! A few DF options as well, but they had sold out of their GF/DF Apple Fritters by the time we got there. If you follow them on Facebook, they also advertise a lot of overstock sales near the end of the day.

Yelp
I'm super excited for this business and the community. Blue Moon makes some of the best gluten free baked good around. I have been a customer at the production bakery for several years, and now they are expanding to offer this retail shop...featuring GF donuts. My favorite: Apple Fritters. On a blind taste, I doubt anyone could tell the difference between these and a wheat-based flour. Stop in for coffee and a donut. Check out the freezer for other goodies you might want to take home.

Yelp
Best apple fritter I've ever had period, worth the long drive. They just opened so hopefully they stick around!!
