Blue Moon Pizza

Our server Takoa was amazing. She was on it and made us feel very welcome (including giving “new locals” some suggestions for the area). Now onto the food. Phe-nom-enal. We started with the garlic rolls and holy yum. Definitely get those. My husband got the buffalo chicken pizza and it was top notch. He’s a snooty pizza guy, and said it’s the best one he’s had! I had the hot honey pepperoni and it was a unique, delightful option! Also, drinks are *chef’s kiss* Side note: our neighbor got the meatballs topped with ricotta and I will be adding that to my choice for the next time we come. Come! You won’t regret it.

The quality of their pizza went down, but the price went up. Last 3 times the taste and the overall experience just wasn’t there. The pizza is flappy, the dough is too soft and no salt and pepper on the crust as their signature touch. I’ve been getting pizza from Blue Moon for ages. Different locations sometimes, but the Marietta store is the closest to me. I always get the same. Santa Fe personal size. The avocado on my pizza was very bad looking, old and brown almost black in color already. Other times was always fresh and green. I was disappointed in the quality. I believe my loyalty to them came to the end.

Blue Moon has become our favorite pizza spot. The staff is absolutely amazing! The dough is fresh and the food so yummy. The establishment is overall wheelchair accessible; however the front door can be kind of heavy to open. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite and drink before a game or having a pizza party, they got you covered.

The food here is amazing! We stopped while traveling back up North after seeing some glowing reviews for their gluten free menu. It's always a struggle to find a place so accommodating while road tripping. My husband said the GF pizza was some of the best he's had. I was won over by the fact they do half & half pizza. I also saw great reviews for the garlic knots and WOW. Little clouds of heaven. My daughter just woke up from a nap and she was cranky... they brought her a pizza dough to make her own pizza, I've never seen that before. It cheered her right up, and when she dropped it on the floor by accident they kindly brought her a new one. Great service to boot! This will be a regular stop for us.

Get the LUNA PIZZA!!!! Absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly! They also have a “take and bake” option that you can take home and cook yourself! Kelsie was fantastic and very friendly. Highly recommended and worth going out of your way to enjoy!

Walking in the layout was a bit odd, I actually thought I walked into the worker’s area 😆. There are outdoor tables (nice when not windy outside) and a small area to the right. I was seated to the left (it’s blocked from initial view hence my confusion). My server, I didn’t get or remember her name but she was very friendly and quick. In the brief time I was there she checked on me three (3) times before receiving my check 😎. I had a 20oz Red Hare Long Day Lager - Marietta, GA & Water. The lager wasn’t my style, it’s okay, but I may has well been drinking a standard beer. But they have other choices that I didn’t partake in. 16” Meateor Pizza - great thin crust pizza, the cayenne-candied bacon 🤯 made this pizza even better.

After long time we liked pizza..done with trying popular brands but this is outstanding. Pizza melt in your mouth..so fresh..tasty and After eating no feeling of acidity....great..

This was a perfect 5 for me. Food A-1 Service A-1 Tocoa was the best and atmosphere was quite impressive as well. Will recommend 10/10

I came with a friend Friday night and we mostly enjoyed our visit. There's a lot of room for improvement. I ordered the cheeseburger pizza and it was pretty good. My friend got wings and a salad. We shared garlic knots. Our poor server seemed new and perhaps under-trained. She was really sweet, but there was just a lot of hiccups. First, the kitchen supposedly lost the ticket for the garlic knots and we didn't get them until way later - significantly after our meals came out. Then it took a super long time for my friend's salad to come out. We were almost convinced she wasn't going to get it at all. Then my friend got the salad but realized we had no utensils at our table. We had to grab a waiter walking by us to ask him for one, and he said luckily he had wrapped an extra set of utensils by accident - so we got that resolved. The whole time we were there, servers were squeezing past our table. It wasn't spaced out right at all, kinda felt like we were in the way even though we weren't sticking out from our table or anything. Garlic knots weren't all that great. Marinara sauce was way too acidic for my liking, and kinda watery. Wouldn't stay on the garlic knots at all. Blue Moontini drink I had was ok but just tasted like straight blue curaçao. And I wish the bacon cheeseburger pizza I ordered had more of a ground beef and cheese taste to it. If I were this restaurant I would- just start having the hostess leave utensils at the table with the menus. (Instead of relying on your waitstaff to remember to wrap silverware every time a salad comes out etc). I would space the tables out a little better. & I'd tweak some of the menu to add more flavor. The marinara sauce could definitely benefit from some ingredient changes. Overall I don't think this is a bad restaurant by any means but I think there are basics it can improve on. I probably would pass on coming here again.

Googling/yelping for a close pizza to our hotel... so happy we found this place. Cute little place on the end of a strip mall (funny outside Chicago the best food can be found in strip malls lol). Service was wonderful... Fast Freddy was friendly and attentive, just a delight. The Greek salad was jam packed with all the toppings and the small was a meal in it's self, can't imagine how the large would have been! Pizza was good... sausage was amazing on it as it was super seasoned and crumbled all over the pie. Well be back for sure!

The food here is amazing. I like the vibe better on Sunday lunchtime than today but hey what can you do. The service is good and the flavours are amazing. The salads are big and tasty. So great I've been twice in 3 days.

This was fantastic! I ordered for delivery and was very pleased. Perfect amount of sauce and toppings. However, you MUST try the cheesy bread....YUM. I was so glad I added this to my order. Delivery was fast and accurate. Great find

Bartender Kelsey was great with the drinks and the smiles. All energy and fun! Will, the kitchen manager came from the kitchen to make sure was everything was going well with the food and service. Now to the drinks, the Jameson on the rocks with a splash of ginger beer and fresh lime was awesome. Kelsey also suggested a Blue Moontini that was dope as well. KUDOS!

I brought my interns here for dinner on July 30th. The pizza was absolutely delicious! Our server, Jessica A. provided outstanding service to us. My interns were very impressed with the atmosphere, the food and the service! Thanks so much for making us feel welcome too! Look forward to eating there again.

The dining room is very informal but comfortable, an industrial feel with high open ceilings. Service was adequate but friendly. Thai chicken pizza was good, a thin crust with a nice little kick to it. It did seem a but pricey at $15 for a personal size pizza. The cheese calzone was nicely stuffed with mozzarella and ricotta though didn't seem seasoned at all. Though plenty of cheese, it didn't seem to have that gooey stretchy texture of a traditional pizza cheese but was still good. The marinara dipping sauce was well balanced and good, not sour or salty. It was a great accompaniment to the canzone. Blue Moon was good overall and worth trying, but there are others as good as and better. It's worth trying if you're in the area.

Stopped in to try the Blue Moontini and it did not disappoint, really tasty and well made. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was out during my visit, and it was extremely warm inside, especially at the bar. On top of that, the internet was down, so none of the TVs were working, which took away from the usual bar vibe. I ended up only staying for one drink because the heat made it hard to relax. Hoping these issues are temporary, because the drinks and staff were solid.

While visiting Atlanta recently, I was in need some SOMETHING for dinner. I had a craving in mind, but for the life of me, couldn't find that particular option. So...I "settled" for pizza. My craving changed from whatever it was previously, to drinking a cold beer, eating pizza and watching the Braves game on TV. As Meatloaf once sang, "Two out of Three Ain't Bad." Ideal little location which was a short drive from my hotel near Truist Park. We were sat promptly and were able to order. They had a very good selection of beer, many local which I appreciate. I picked my beer, we got a simple pepperoni pizza and waited. Simple place, lot of chairs w/ outdoor seating options. What caught my attention, no Braves on TV. What? NHL playoffs were on all the TV's. Seriously...ATL has had two failed hockey teams. I believe we all know this isn't a hockey town. What's the deal? Our pizza didn't take overly long to come to the table. Enough time to watch hockey, SMH. The pizza was good. Not great, not horrible. Something just north of average. If my eating partner was a little more adventurous, maybe I'd have gotten one of their specialty pizzas and it'd have been a different opinion. Side note: our server was awesome. At times, she appeared to be the only one running around, so I have to give her big props for doing a great job!

Great pizza and good drinks. Nice patio when the weather is warm. Restaurant staff could use some hospitality training but other than that, it's worth the trip.

I love this little pizza place! I've always had great food and service when coming here. You can count on many local beer options on tap, as well as daily drink specials. The pizza here is delicious, as are the sandwiches. Last time I visited, I got the eggplant parmesan subwich. It was tasty with large leaves of fresh basil. I'll continue to visit this location when I'm in the area.

Pizza is a very personal thing. Everyone has a preference. Everyone has their "the best slice is..." Pizza simply isn't a matter without strong sentiment. Thankfully there are places like Blue Moon Pizza. My sister introduced it to me years ago. They have grown over the years and what made them succeed as a small business are a few simple hallmarks: make it welcoming to dine there, make it from scratch, and serve it right so everyone has a positive experience. I am sure there is even greater depth and, for me, those are the dominant themes. Everything I have ever tried there from the appetizers like their garlic knots (worth a dose of Lipitor just to indulge), to their scratch made pizzas with various fun toppings, to the in house beverages (like their white wine Sangria) is fresh, expressive, and comforting. The prices are also incredibly reasonable especially when considered against the backdrop of profound inflation. The servers are really the secret sauce that binds the experience together. They know how to pick people that are both good at their jobs (getting orders right, coordinating delivery to large groups, etc) but also have the right temperament for service. It all combines to make Blue Moon Pizza a place I enjoy frequenting each and every time I return to Atlanta. Pizza well, my friends.

Was in from out of town looked up pizza places on yelp. This restaurant had great reviews so we drove out of our way to try it. One employee was outside walked in as we pulled in. As we entered two employees turned their backs to us and didn't acknowledge us. There was only one customer that was waiting on the bench. After waiting 15 minutes at the counter we decided to leave.

Buffalo chicken pizza....thats all you need to know. One of the best pizza joints in the ATL.

I had the Buffalo pizza for the first time. It was good and different. A tad bit spicy but good. Black guy making pizzas was eating and drinking on the work station. Glad my food came out before he took over. That's very nasty and unsanitary. Not to mention he was not wearing gloves. Melissa was friendly (server).

We ordered a half cheese/half Greek. The issue was the cheese side barely had any cheese or sauce. And this isn't the first time. Just dry bread!! I don't understand, but I won't bother again.

We ordered takeout over the weekend from Blue Moon Pizza off of Windy Hill in Marietta. We decided to go with the Classic pizza and a side order of mild wings. Food was good and the person who took our order via phone was very pleasant.

Came here for lunch a few weeks ago. Got the 2 slices and soda combo; pizza and service was excellent.

I come visit every blue moon (pun intended ). I like how I can customize my pizza and I also enjoy the service. The service staff is very attentive and kind.

Went to a friends house to watch football thought I would buy them a better pizza than the chains or Costco. Ordered DoorDash pick up since I get free food with my Chase Sapphire. ($5 a month food credit, had $10 credit) Got a text saying the pizza was ready when I pulled into the parking lot. I don't think I got the right one because it looked like someone started to pull a slice out. (see picture) Got to my friends house 3 miles away and the pizza was cold, not slightly cold but iced cold! I called Blue Moon about it and they said, complain to DoorDash and make them refund you. This isn't DoorDash's fault, this is your fault. on a positive note which gave them two stars is that after we heated the pizza in the microwave it tasted very good. if only it was hot

Excellent pizza, generous toppings and done to perfection. Our server's friendliness and attention made it a very enjoyable experience. We will definitely be back and we definitely recommend.

Carry Out: Wonderful customer service via telephone ordering & pick up. Hannah's light beamed through the phone answering my questions & providing suggestions for both the garden & meat eaters. You can also order from their website. Yes, the menu provides what's offered & how prepared, yet when you have an employee that actually enjoys their service, it provides the customer an easy flow to patronage & have a positive experience. I ordered for a couple of people & the salads were bountiful with a good price same for the pizzas & appetizers. I have to say Blue Moon is one of the better pizzerias that offer Vegan options...I thoroughly enjoyed my V-Pie. They also Take & Bake where you can cook your pizza at home, a handful of GF options & Rewards program. Easy curbside service with dedicated parking spaces as well as the restaurant is now open for inside dining.

The place is not big and as of late with the post Covid pizza pickup station they have kind-of made the interior less appealing, but bar and outdoor seating is still nice. That being said, I would come here for lunch and pickup pizza for dinner. The help is always friendly. The pizza is my favorite in Atlanta for thin crust. Their Meteor is dynamite! Hands down delicious. Their other pizza's are also great and they have gluten free options. ENJOY

The flavors are good but they are terribly slow. Would love to keep coming back but man i cant keep wasting so much time, the amount of time it takes them to bring you the check, and then 8 more minutes for them to come and process th payment. Specially when there are 3 employees sitting next to me talking blah! Calzones are amazing but not worth my time. If i had a two hours lunch then yeah but no.... Back again after 2 weeks. Service is trash. Such a shame. The place is empty and took them 4 minutes just to ask me if im dining in or take out. Last time here, I am not coming back. Short hair girl is the worst, I swear, it looks like she's pretending to enter stuff at the computer just not to take care of you. Come on' empty rest and you spend 3-4 minutes in front of the computer doing what?!! Bye!

Blue Moon is delicious! They have some interesting specialty pizzas. I absolutely love the jerk chicken pizza. If you like BBQ chicken pizza or Jamaican jerk chicken (i happen to like both, you'd love this. It's a pizza topped with grilled chicken, red and yellow peppers, and jerk sauce. The wings are great too! I got a 10 piece - half mild, half garlic parmesan. Sooo good... just the right amount of sauce, without it being overkill. The wings are actually a decent size too, not the baby wings that seem to be the norm in Atlanta. I dropped a star because I called Blue Moon when I was leaving Gwinnett County (after work in rush hour traffic)...By the time they actually picked up up the phone (well took me off hold), I was already in Cobb, getting off of the Windy Hill exit! So much for ordering ahead so I wouldn't have to wait when I got there.

Perfectly fine! Not remarkable but that makes sense for the reasonable price. Friendly server. I got a southwestern personal pizza but I think one or two large slices may be a better value.

Blue Moon Pizza will definitely be a place that I patronizez regularly.The food is terrific, our server was nice, and the restaurant's atmosphere was pleasant. This is 100% somewhere I'd visit before/after a fun night out. Server: Cyrah was great, she was attentive and my order was accurate. She also brought my 1 year old a kids cup of water without me asking, so that was sweet! Food: The pizza was really good but I highly recommend the *Jerk Wings*! Those were AMAZING. I also ordered 2 kids meals for my children and they cut my toddler's pizza into 12ths (it's usually cut into 4ths) I loved that. Also, the kids meals came with ice cream- another win! My only gripes were that lemon pepper wings were extremely bitter, and the veggies on the pizza were too raw for my liking. Bonus: Blue Moon also has a full bar! I ordered a Strawberry Hennessey Margarita, and it was better than ones that I've had at most bars.

We honestly love blue moon and order it a lot. I would give them 5 stars...But sheeeshhh are they stingy on their toppings!! And we know this because they're consistently stingy, so I usually call and ask for extra toppings & light cheese but this time i put it in the notes and without fail they skimped us. It's $1.50 per topping. Can you even see the pepperoncini peppers? If you squint hard you can see Italian sausage I'm just trying to understand why they charge so much but they're so cheap!! (We ordered a small pizza w/ 3 toppings, large cheesey bread & a Greek salad and our total +delivery came to $50) it would be more worth it if you didn't have to hound them for the toppings lol

I've had their pizza delivered before it is delicious! I came in today to order to go and sat at the bar. The customer service is top notch, everyone is friendly and fun. The customers seem to enjoy themselves too & have good conversation with the staff. They have indoor, outdoor & bar seating. Masks are optional

The pizza is just ok. The crust is very thin and at $18 for a 12 inch a bit overpriced. I could've done better with a frozen pizza from Publix.

Good food, easy parking, indoor & outdoor seating. The stromboli was delicious. Large and full of cheese & veggies. I sat at the bar while waiting for my food. The bartender was busy, but very attentive and friendly. When I saw the pizzas come out, I was kind of wishing I had ordered that instead. If they are is good as they look, a Margarita pizza is in my future. Highly recommended

This could get dangerous! A lunch time pizza delivery in Smyrna that's actually delicious? Oh no!!!! Got a Sicilian pie delivered to the office. It was still hot when the delivery person, Naomi, arrived. She was super pleasant, too, and told us she loves the pizza, which is a pretty great sign. Cheese was melty, crust was crispy, and the pizza had fun spices sprinkled throughout. I'm a fan! Also, I'm not saying I ate a slice from my leftover box on my way to my car in the parking lot, but I'm not saying I didn't.

My job ordered Blue Moon Pizza for lunch for us. The great part is we all get to pick what we wanted and DoorDash delivered for us! I got a personal pizza. They got vegan cheese!! Yes!! They use Daiya cheese too. I always get jalapenos and banana peppers on mine. I was so impressed with the taste of it. The jalapenos were spicy!! I love that. Usually I don't bite into a spicy one. Loved the pepperoni thin crust pizza. Just the right amount of sauce and myriads of tasty pepperoni.

It's a nice place for quick lunch. That is exactly what we wanted. Service was very good and seating outside on so pleasant weather was additional bonus. Caesar salad was standard, solid size to split. Creek pizza, although we asked for thin crust, was a bit soft in the middle. Wish we asked to be more crunchy. Overall a nice place and is worthy coming back.

I walked into this place to order a chicken sausage pizza slice with saracha sauce on top and they were quick. It was done in less than 10 minutes & was only about $5.50. I will be back again great customer service thank you

I go here a lot and will continue to. Great service and great food. Favorite items are the Cheeseburger Pizza and the Kickin' Campfire wings. The dough is thin and fresh and the wings are a good size and crispy. We live close so we usually order takeout. Great place. Keep it up.

Crispy, seasoned, buttery crust Ooey, gooey, cheese perfectly melted but not overpowering Fresh, crispy, tasty veggies Perfectly seasoned and moist meats All of the makings for a perfect pizza or as close as you can get to it! This was my first tome trying Blue Moon and I was not disappointed! I ordered one of their specialty pies that you can get as a personal pizza (6 slices). You're allowed to substitute toppings and all of the employees were very pleasant. I didn't wait long and my pizza tasted nice and fresh. Absolutely a well preferred choice over the typical pizza chains. I had onions, green peppers, pepperoni, Italian sausage and pineapple! I think I the mushroom for the pineapple as that was my addition. All for a Total of about $12 My first time was a hit but it definitely will not be my last!

One of my favorite places in Atlanta for pizza. Great friendly staff. Awesome bar and great desserts for a pizza joint! Kelsey and Melissa are some of my favorite humans in the industry and you should NOT miss the opportunity to meet them and the rest of the awesome staff. I'll continue coming weekly!

This pizza is really good. I've sampled them over the years at various events and when I decided to go in, they were remodeling. Now they've reopened and I decided to stop in on a Saturday I believe. It was pretty slow and I honestly could have sat at the bar. My server was pleasant and made for a delightful experience. I ordered the apple martini, not the best but still tasty. The mixer they use isn't very good so that's what the issue was for me. The cheeseburger pizza is so yummy. I traded bacon for green peppers at no charge. I got the small for $12 and it came with 6 steaming hot slices. They don't have siracha sauce and is something they could possibly look into having in stock. I used Cholula sauce instead and still enjoyed the pizza. I ended up ordering the gluten free brownie as well to go. It came with ice cream and was delicious!!! I think it was about $7. I will definitely come back here and sit at the bar, apparently they have $6 martini's on Thursday's!

I'm so glad I stopped in this place for lunch. I sat at the bar, and was greeted promptly and brought water. I swear the bartender knew what I was thinking. She got things to me before I could even ask for it! As for food, I ordered the bruschetta for starters and I'm so glad I did. This was the best damn bruschetta I've had in a while. The garlic bread was cooked to perfection. I ordered a Margherita pizza to go, and while I was nothing special by looks of it, the crust was so freakin good. I can't even describe it. Kinda sweet, crunchy, amazing. Anyway, will be returning if I'm ever in the area!

I've always been picky about the pizza that I eat, the first time I had this pizza was when they catered lunch at my old job and I've been hooked ever since. Their pizzas are the perfect size and they actually have flavor. The bbq chicken pizza and the meateor pizza are a definite go to.

Today was my first time here and Cole was great!! He was so helpful and made sure my food was perfect!
