Blue Moon Pizza of Buckhead

Attentive staff and delicious food for very reasonable prices. I'll be back. The French fries were so fresh and crispy and the pizza was excellent. Kind of looks like a hole in the wall but worth a visit!

We stopped in for a quick dinner on the way to the Buckhead Theater to see Better than Ezra. The parking was a tiny bit challenging to find in the immediate area but if you park at the Buckhead North parking garage it is super close to walk. We tried the Garlic Rolls, Cedar Salad, French Fries, a Pepperoni Calzone, and a Cheeseburger Pizza. Overall, it was a good meal and the restaurant was close enough to walk to the concert. Would definitely stop in again.

Could be that they are short staffed, not sure, the older lady that addressed me when I came in didn’t greet me she just assumed I had an order to pick. I told her the name and immediately she said “it’s gonna be a while”. 5-7 minutes later I hear her give an order to other person but since she’s seems flustered and she’s rushing she doesn’t verify the last name and neither does the person picking up that order which turned out to be mine. Now 25 minutes later I keep having to ask for an update and once she realizes the mess up she doesn’t address it with either party nor takes accountability for it. No apology no consideration of others time. Just really bad customer service from the lady that’s a manager. I believe her name is Jessica (not sure). On a positive note, the young lady she kept directing/bossing around was very considerate, understanding, and helpful. Definitely would not recommend coming here when that manager is working. It’s going to be a bad experience.

They gave our order to the wrong person, rushed to remake it, and it ended up being a crappy tasting piece of half-cooked soggy dough. Left out our side items. A solid 2 stars since the wings were actually tasty after we re-heated them.

Can’t go wrong! Perfect for a quick meal or if you’re having my friends over (order an app, salads, pizza, and dessert all at one place). 🙌🏾 The meteor pizza, buffalo chicken & blue cheese, and bbq chicken pizzas are all delicious. I love getting the cookie & ice cream dessert.

Veg pizza excellent. Outside seating slightly cramped, next table departed customer remains remained throughout my stay. Waiter attentive and punctual. Id go more than once in a blue moon.

The location was perfect! Parking was easy to find, and right by the restaurant. I went on a Saturday mid-day, and there was no wait at all. The wings were delicious and flavorful. The pizza was great. I do think the crust was a little too hard but other than that it was great! I would recommend eating here. Next time I'm in the area I would like to go back.

Stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon for a shot of scotch . They don't have scotch so I got 2 shots of coopers $16 . I ordered one slice of pepperoni pizza $4.99 $1.49 a topping . I choose to sit out side where they have shaded tables curb side . My order came quick 7 min, I guess cause it was only 3 other patrons at bar . Not sure about parking because I walked from medical office next door. The have tvs inside showing sports but only thing on was news and little league baseball. I enjoyed myself alone , pizza was good and my shots hit the spot !

Ordered for pickup while staying in nearby hotel. Quick and friendly service of a solid pizza. They have an outdoor area of seating which I would recommend.

we ordered from Uber Eats. We got the margarita pizza and the vegetarian 16 inch pizza. We had ordered some more stuff but Uber Eats forgot it so I can only write about these two. I will go ahead and tell you that the crust was burnt at the edges and the pizza was kind of soggy.I have had blue Moon pizza before and it was better than this, but this was not that great. The pizza also lacks some flavor and we did not really enjoy it. pretty bland. we likely won't get this again. my parents were in town and they wanted to try something different and this pizza was not something they enjoyed. it may be better in the restaurant I'm not sure but as far as getting it delivered from Uber Eats we were not super impressed with quality or the flavors I neither was I.

Good neighborhood pizza spot, we came to get salads so can't speak on the pizza but there was a good amount of people dining in and taking out when we were there.

The bacon flatwich is amazing. Highly recommend it. The jalapeño candied bacon was sooooo good..

It was just OK. I'm a bit partial to Neapolitan style pizza. It's my fav.. This was thin and crispy which was good but I just thought it lacked the flavor I was looking for. They were super busy when we went to pick up our order. Should have checked it before returning home. Half was supposed to have chorizo on it for the boyfriend but didn't. Side of ranch was also forgotten. Garlic rolls were decent. They are not garlic knots just an FYI.

Talk about an upside surprise! We came here somewhat on a whim...simply because we were in the mood for pizza. I was immediately impressed by the flexibility of the menu and even ordered the cauliflower crust just to try something new...and specified a wide variety of customized toppings. We also got an eggplant panini. In short - it was delicious. Really happy with our choice. Be prepared for carbs! And the service was incredible - these guys went out of their way to be amiable and to make sure we had a great experience all around (including catering to our multiple random requests). This elevated level of service was not expected or even necessary for this type of venue. We were happy to voluntarily tip even more after our meal. Also enjoyed the turtle cheesecake. Highly underrated. Looking forward to going back!

The garlic rolls are amazing and it's a great space! Pizza was pretty good. Crispy. Service was excellent!

We have ordered pizza from Blue Moon a couple of times but I forgot to write a review. Last night we order a pizza through Grub Hub to deliver. We got a large Greek pizza. It was almost still hot when it arrived but that is on GH. The ingredients were well distributed on the pizza and the crust was not soggy. Pretty good for pizza, not sweet like a lot of pizza places. We will order again

The pizza was delicious, and the wings were also good too and the bartender was awesome. I will be going back.

We've only ordered pickup from here so far, but the pizza has always been great! And the salads are so good and fresh and come with pita to dip in the extra dressing. The wings were a little over done, but we've only gotten them once so we'll have to give them another try. It looks like a super cute place to sit outside and enjoy the weather, and the staff are friendly, nice and efficient. Sure, there's no such thing as bad pizza, but this is really good!

Just ordered my simple pizza pie and wings for $51 and it was delivered cold. Called the restaurant and they denied I even ordered anything from them. Kept saying I must've ordered from a different Blue Moon. I read them my order number, gave them my last name, my first name, my hotel, my room number. i told them I ordered thru Yelp and he said if I order through third party, its not guaranteed hot...wtf. Blue Moon told me to contact Yelp for a full refund. Yelp = the company that just connects customers and restaurants together, yeah...okay. Terrible food, terrible service and terrible motto of "only order direct if you want hot food" Follow up: we used the hotel microwave to warm it up and everything taste bland. Hot wings are bland. Pizza was burnt on the edge and mediocre at best.

Why can't you ever get service at the bar when there are only two other patrons or no other patrons. Really weird place and not something for a quick in and out lunch during a busy work day. Always did have great lunch specials though. But if you can't get the service, then what's the point? Very unfortunate. The pizza is actually very good, which is my reason for the 3 stars I'm giving! .

We stopped in for dinner passing through--we ordered the bruschetta--which was really good: everyone has their own version but it was really good; we also ordered the cheesy garlic bread as a second appetizer-- sooo good and for entrees my husband ordered a salad that was served on a pizza crust offered either on a crust or regular bowl he wanted to try it with the toasted crust on the bottom and said it was really good and I ordered the hot wings medium (just the right amount of heat) Awesome wait staff; pricing was reasonable. Overall wonderful local restaurant wish we had one of these in Texas.

the food was so good. i loved all the options for dietary restrictions. the workers were all so friendly and nice. i got the bbq chicken personal size gf pizza (sub vegan cheese) and it was delicious!

Been here way too many times at this point that i'm starting to notice little changes in the food. Their pizza is great! I've been getting the grandma's pizza recently over the make your own/another specialty pizza. I recommend it - it's a great detroit style pizza with a lot of garlic and flavor. What i've noticed though is their quality for the garlic knots. Now I know that the last few times I've gotten it as a takeout versus eating in, but it has 100% changed. The rolls are a lot smaller than before and the last time I got them they werent even knotty - it was literally like eating a bread roll dunked in garlic sauce.

Not much to say here. Recently moved into the area and have always heard about Blue Moon and decided to give em a try. The pizza is Ok. Tbh I felt it had little cheese and was loaded with veggies. I could have sworn I ordered a Classic. I also ordered Extra Cheese, but for some reason I feel like they forgot this. I also ordered a side of Garlic Knots. I will say the Garlic Sauce they have is AMAZING! Bit on the salty side, but delicious! I'll be ordering again and trying other menu items, but imo the Classic Pizza just had too many veggies on it. Tasted like a Garden Pizza. Stay tuned for next review soon.

The pizza is awesome! Parking is not good, which is sad because the place inside is very cozy! I would order to go, or walk there if you can or Uber for sure. The food is worth it!

The Luna pizza is very different from the traditional flavors of a normal pizza. I think this is one of my favorite pizzas. The chorizo on a pizza is a very create meat to put on a pizza. It goes very well with the spicy ranch sauce. As you might have read, the garlic rolls is a signature dish here. Tip on how to eat the garlic rolls if you order takeout: poke small holes/slits on the rolls and then pour the garlic sauce on top of it before you heat it up so the sauce percolates inside the rolls

Pretty great pizza. You can tell they use quality produce and have a fine tuned routines in the kitchen. No complaints.

We ordered a calzone and a pita veggie sandwich! I really enjoyed the veggie sandwich, the fries were a bit too salty but the calzone was also really good. The service was superb and I placed the order to-go so they had me in/out in no time! Super convenient and both the calzone and pita had a great flavor.

They allow customers to illegally park in the street during busy rush hour traffic creating a safety hazard and inconveniencing the entire community.

Buffalo chicken was the best kind I had. We also got grandmas pie ( have had better ) and the meat lovers / equivalent of this, which I think for sure could have used more sauce. Crust was good and pizza was overall good. We also got a Greek salad and there is LEGIT bread at the bottom ( was not expecting this and found it pretty odd ). Really thought it meant bread on the side haha. Would come back!

2.5 stars, Just OK. We ordered take out via Uber Eats which took 2+ hrs to arrive so the pizza was ice cold. Thin crust was tasty but the sauce to cheese ratio was way off and sauce was on the sweeter side without much flavor/seasoning. Very very light on the cheese. The garlic rolls were served as plain rolls with a dipping sauce which is not what garlic knots are back in NY which left a lot to be desired. Wouldn't order again

Mediocre at best. I have tried this place a couple of times. Meh. Is all I can say. There are many better choices.

Never heard of this place before coming out to Atl, but it's a must!!!! I ordered a customized pizza that was gluten free dough with pepperoni and cheese and spinach. This place is very busy but i see why because soo many people love it here. This place has won a special place in my tummy lol. Added to favorites

I stopped here for lunch. Particularly hot wings. They messed up my order and the food was very subpar.

Mediocre at best. Plus they overcharged me. Super annoyed at all the cars out front blocking traffic on paces ferry.

I called in and placed my order with Malik, I asked him to please close my box with tap so my food couldn't be tampered with. Just being cautious, I always ask that my things are probably sealed whenever I order delivery due to so many people handling it. (Delivery driver, concierge etc) Any-who Malik totally disregard my request. The pizza was amazing though, but damn Malik why you couldn't just tape the box. Got me praying extra hard over my food now. I trust that the lord wouldn't let anything happen to me but damn Malik, all I wanted was some tape.

PSA, don't park on the street in front, park in the lot down the street. If you have kids, they bring them dough to play with! They have a full bar and carry local beers. And then there is the pizza. I'm picky about my pizza, and this one makes the grade. grandma's is worth ordering.

We paid Blue Moon Pizza a late at night pick up visit. I had never been before, heard great things and was excited to give these guys a try. So what did we end up taking away? We called ahead and ordered their Classic pizza ($21) and also got an order of their lemon pepper wings ($9.99) The lemon pepper wings came in a serving of 10, with celery and your choice of blue cheese or ranch. The wings were crispy, well seasoned and actually pretty good! We both gave the wings a thumbs up. The pizza was thin crust, and man did this flavor speak to you. Loaded with toppings including pepperoni, peppers, mushroom, onion, and sausage, the slices were devoured and enjoyed. Likely not as crispy because it was a to go order and a 10 minute drive home, but what we chomped on was very good. Not quite sure what the parking situation is because again, we got our order to go, although I know enough to know that if you park anywhere across the street from blue moon, you'll be booted. Ask staff and they'll direct you to self parking. The product Blue Moon Pizza delivers is great, boasting in your face flavors that make you smile with each bite. I'll definitely check them out again!

My first time eating here and I placed my to go order online. When I got there my order was prepared wrong :(. I ordered the Italian flatwich and all it has was lettuce onions and tomato's. When I told the manager on duty. He asked me does the sandwich has meat on it while looking at the meatless sub. He then took my to go container in the back to slap on cold meat. I was hungry and started to not care about the whole situation. The sandwich was ok and the fries were good. I would of thought he would of added more fries or something extra since it was there fault. I won't be back though.

Service was slow. The lemonade had debris in it. Server brought another, this time in a to-go cup. This one also had debris in it. There was no empathy nor apology for this. We came on a weekday afternoon so the place was not crowded at all, but the service was lacking. No refills the entire time we were there. Pizza was just ok. Cheese bread had literal grease dripping off of it. Will not return.

I absolutely love, love, LOVE the grandma style pizza! The service has always been great every time we've gone and the food is so good. I like the low-key atmosphere of the place and it was one of our go-to Friday date night places when we lived closer to the city.

I was a little underwhelmed with my slices although they were huge. The sausage pizza was not what I expected and they were both overly greasy. Service was decent at the bar. I just stopped by briefly on a Sunday afternoon and had a blue moon to go with the theme of the bar. Haaaa. I want to come back because I think this place does have potential, I will try something different next time.

I haven't been to Blue Moon Pizza in quite a few years, but decided to go last night with a couple friends. We were all very pleasantly surprised with how delicious the pizza and cocktails were. Our server, Malik, was very friendly and attentive. He made delicious Palomas and made sure to check in on us regularly. We each ordered an individual pizza (original, Margherita and Greek) and had enough to take home for leftovers. If you can, dine in because the pizza is best fresh out of the oven.

Pizza was pretty good! I got their make your own and the side iceberg wedge. Only thing I would complain about is how greasy the pizza was. Makes me wonder if I would go back or not.

I'm updating my review because, though missing sauce is a minor issue in the grand scheme of things, the Director of Operations took time to reach out to me! That's how you keep a customer! The calzone was nothing I'd order again, but the pizza is EVERYTHING! I tell myself I will have leftovers, I consistently eat the entire thing! Thanks for the awesome follow up!!

The food was very expensive! For two pizzas it's was 60$! And the person on the phone did not go over the different sizes or the prices just hung up. And for the price the pizza was not good no flavor and the garlic knots did not have a lick of garlic on it! 0/10

Y'all not even going to lie I LOVED my cobb salad here. Anytime you serve salad in an oversized mixing bowl my expectations are high because well, the presentation is an oversized metal mixing bowl LOL. It was comforting as that's how I make my lunch salads at home and I was grabbing a quick bite on a work trip. The bartender on the day I went in for lunch was really, really nice, and was attentive. Recommend!

First time trying the Buckhead location. Very polite staff. Ordered a large pizza and did half and half toppings. Everything was great. Always had great food at all Blue Moon locations and this one didn't disappoint. Staff wore masks also. Will definitely be back.

Expensive for cold, thin, smaller pie with lackluster service. Maybe it's better as sit down but carry out wasn't worth it.

At the time of writing this, I've attached the advertised COVID-19 precautions for this location. I ordered online yesterday (order of garlic rolls and personal white pizza) for curbside pickup, and when I got to the restaurant there was no curbside pickup. There were no instructions for curbside pickup anywhere to be seen (despite advertising they do curbside pickup). So, I had to park my car and go in and grab the food. Inside was absolute chaos -- including more disregard for their advertised services (no social distancing enforced, they were basically operating at full capacity including seating at the bar and tables not 6 ft apart). Servers were wearing masks and those preparing food had masks and gloves. Upon seeing this, I typically would've just turned around and left -- but I made the mistake of preparing online so I decided to stay. It took 20 minutes from the time I entered the restaurant to the time I got my food. My order was certainly not ready and they forgot to include a soda I had also ordered with it. I realized when I left, but after spending 20 minutes inside of this restaurant with at least 20-30 unmasked people, I wasn't ready to go inside again. While waiting, I witnessed the following inside the restaurant: - people entering without masks, even just to pick up takeout - servers running around like crazy -- they looked way understaffed - people at tables in large groups (2 groups of 10+ at a table) - tables not 6ft apart - people sitting elbow to elbow at the bar area Clearly, management here has decided to let politics and money make their decisions for them. DO NOT order from this business if you value your life.

Imagine an unexpected December snow storm in Atlanta that causes both Phipps Plaza & Lenox Mall to close early, and the Hartsfield Jackson airport to ground most flights. Well, this really happened in December 2017. As a visitor solely in town for a rival NFL football game where my team of choice was less than victorious, I found myself spending an extra day in Georgia with a desire for something other than hotel food. While Blue Moon should have been a choice based on its reviews, I found myself there primarily because it was one of the few restaurants still open on this terrible weather day but it did not disappoint. I loved absolutely everything about the pizza and noticed pretty quickly into my dining experience that there were quite a few regulars and many patrons who often place take out orders. Knowing that I would be stuck indoors until at least the next day, I ordered a key lime pie to go and it was delicious the perfect late night treat. If find yourself in the area on sunny day or during not so great weather, I highly recommend paying Blue Moon a visit.
