Went to celebrate my birthday at the bingo brunch and had a fantastic time. The service was great. My table all ordered different items ( Belgian waffle, short rib hash, steak and eggs) and everything tasted delicious. You can tell that this restaurant uses quality ingredients. Kudos to the cook staff. Everything tasted amazing and was lovely in its presentation. I will definitely be back.

Google
I had the stuffed shrimp with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was exceptionally tasty! Catherine, our server, was very attentive and mindful of our needs. Autumn and Kristin belted out nostalgic songs to top off the night! What a fun time to see them on stage again!

Google
Everything at the Blue Moon was pretty incredible. The atmosphere is great. The staff, really amazing. And the food was so delicious. We've had the Filet-mignon, Jumbo Stuffed Shrimp, Scallops, Fried Green Tomatoes, roasted Brussels Sprouts, EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. I've always been a foodie and this place really impressed me! We've been visiting Rehoboth for years and always walked past this place and it was always crowded. Today I decided to make a reservation. This will definitely be our go to dinner place when visiting!

Google
Fried green tomatoes and Wedge Salad appetizers were great, so was the Zinfandel Wine from the wine menu. Stuffed shrimp entree was just okay, so was the steak. Both of these were okay not great. Service and ambiance was nice but the entrees in general could of been better

My husband and I dined there several weeks ago and have put this place on the top of our list of favorite restaurants in Rehoboth. We each had the corn and crab bisque (heavenly) and shared the stuffed shrimp. Everything was seasoned perfectly, presentations were excellent. Being unabashedly unashamed to say we’re “foodie snobs” we walked out of there happy, happy, happy! And our server was extremely well versed on every dish. Can’t wait to visit again next summer.

Google
We went for brunch and totally enjoyed this meal. We had the short rib hash, Omelets, cinnamon bun, and mimosas. The quality of the food is exceptional. We have been to dinner here as well on other occasions, and it's always exceptional. This is a great place in Rehoboth to eat.

Google
I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Blue Moon Restaurant in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. It truly felt as if we were dining at a close friend or family member's house. To start off our meal, we ordered the wedge salad and the crab and corn bisque. Both dishes were executed perfectly, with the salad being crisp and refreshing, and the bisque being rich and flavorful. The attention to detail in the preparation of these dishes was evident, and it set the tone for the rest of the meal. For our main course, we opted for the pork chops with ratatouille. The pork chops were cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, and the ratatouille was seasoned just right, complementing the meat beautifully. We also decided to try their burger, which had a unique twist with a sweet bacon taste. It was a delicious combination that really elevated the flavors. In addition to the wonderful dining I must mention the amazing truffle Mac and cheese we had. It was a true standout dish that deserves recognition. The combination of creamy cheese, aromatic truffle, and perfectly cooked pasta was simply divine. It added an extra touch of indulgence to our meal and left us wanting more. The truffle Mac and cheese at Blue Moon Restaurant is a must-try To end our meal on a sweet note, we indulged in the blueberry bread pudding. It was the perfect way to conclude our dining experience, with its comforting and satisfying taste. We also couldn't resist trying their cherry bourbon cocktail, which had a hint of spice that added an extra layer of depth to the overall meal. Overall, our experience at the Blue Moon Restaurant was exceptional. The cozy and inviting ambiance, combined with the impeccable execution of each dish, made for a truly memorable dining experience. I highly recommend visiting this charming restaurant if you find yourself in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

Google
We stumbled upon this place as it was close to our hotel and it was fantastic!!! We sat in the bar with an extremely entertaining Piano player/singer! Our food and service were exceptional! We had filets, lobster rissoto, just perfect! The ice cream cake dessert fed all four of us and was amazing too!! Just a great time and will be back for sure!!

Yelp
We came here for dinner one night for a bachelorette party and overall enjoyed it! We had 12 people and they were mostly able to accommodate us - the ordering and paying went smoothly, but they did tell us last minute that they had another group coming and we needed to leave (we understood, but thought it was done in a really rude way and felt abrupt, so I'm docking a star because of that). The food was tasty, although I thought the drinks were sort of meh. The ambiance is lively, and even though we were sitting in the dining area we caught parts of the show after and loved that! The bride-to-be got a giant slice of cake that we all shared and it was a fun way to top off the meal!

Yelp
We came to Blue Moon this weekend on a recommendation from a friend. We originally had plans to eat at another place but it was unexpectedly closed. We easily gott a Blue Moon reservation about 90 min before we arrived. We arrived about 15 min early and they were able to accommodate us and seat us at that time. We were seated on the porch which I thought would be fun to people watch (of course it never stopped pouring so there wasn't much to watch). The table itself was very bizarro. It was 2 tables pushed together and could seat 4-5 people even tho there were only of us. Our second table was only about 4" from the next party. I was trapped into my seat with no way to get out unless a server would move the table for me. Luckily I did not have to use the bathroom. When I inquired about the odd set up the server told me I could use the other table to put any plates I wanted on there. We ordered the fried green tomatoes which we enjoyed. I got the lobster risotto - it was very good. It was not what I expected. The risotto was buttery instead of creamy but it still tasted good. My bf ate the lamb chops which he enjoyed. We both loved the bread and butter - which was flavored w honey and parsley. One thing that was strange - there was a walkway with a shelf behind my bf's seat. The servers kept reaching over my bf's shoulder to bring things to the table instead of walking the 3 extra steps to stand table side. While we were eating I could hear singing coming from the lounge. After we were done we headed into that lounge. And we had the most enjoyable show!! Autumn Schneider performed an hour long show singing numbers from Broadway shows and telling us about her history performing Broadway. She was extraordinary and we wished we had moved in sooner to see the start of her show. She is a real talent and I give her 5 stars! Will def be back this summer to see her!

Yelp
Great experience! The food was delicious and service was attentive and quick. Ambiance was lovely, not too loud. The restaurant had a show going on but we were seated in the separate main dining area so if the show is not your thing and you prefer a more intimate setting you can choose the quiet area. I highly recommend getting the fried green tomatoes, whether as a starter by itself or as a side as part of the vegetarian entree.

Yelp
Another great meal and great service.....We had a new waiter tonight and he was on his game...Had my Bulleit Manhattan, spot on with my Mexican shrimp cocktail, sorry no picture, I ate it all so fast. Sunday night filet special, cooked MR as ordered, others had buretta , cauliflower, short rib, filets...all good. Dessert flourless chocolate torte....wine..a nice night and meal once again.

Yelp
OMG... this place is fabulous. Service, atmosphere, food. We will be back to try other menu items

Yelp
Enjoyed the Tasting Tuesday menu consisting of a 3 course menu paired with wines for only $49. The fried green tomatoes were outstanding. Enjoyed the stuffed shrimp too. The dessert was a mango cheesecake. Enjoyed the wines selected by the server. She was very nice and attentive too! Sat by window, so nice atmosphere!

Yelp
If you're looking for great food & great ambience, this is the place for you. On the food side, we started with the roasted oysters appetizer. It was absolutely amazing. So flavorful! For my entree, I had the shrimp stuffed with crabmeat. Wonderfully rich & so tasty. With asparagus included as a side. For my husband's entree, he had the short rib stroganoff. Delicious as well--I had several bites. We loved the setting as well. The restaurant is located in a grand old house that has class written all over it. We also appreciated that the tables weren't crammed together but were spaced out so we weren't too close to other people. Service was excellent as well. Our waitress was very attentive & very pleasant.

Yelp
There were 8 of us and everyone enjoys their meal. 2 of us shared the Tuna Carpaccio with garlic aioli and it was one of the best we have had in a long time with what we thought was a nice subtle crunch of shaved salt flakes on top. The Frenched Lamb Rack with Garden Ratatouille and Goat Cheese was perfectly cooked and delicious as was the Duck Breast with Cranberries, fingerling potatoes and Cipollini onions. The staff, the setting and their very interesting menu are reasons to return again. (Too busy talking and eating to take pictures !)

Yelp
It has changed a lot and not for the better. Had drinks in the bar area and tubs all over to catch the rain leaking from the tarp covered roof. So sad it was a great place to be over the years.

Yelp
We had a horrendous experience at Blue Moon this summer. We had dinner reservations for a group of 8. The day before our reservation, we called to ask if we could add a 9th person. The restaurant confirmed that this was fine. They also said we'd be split into tables of 4 and 5. We said that was no problem. We showed up for our reservation on time. The restaurant was mostly empty. The group of 4 from our party was seated promptly, but the other 5 of us were told to wait. The host told us he was not sure if he could seat us since there were 5 of us and he only had tables for 4. We explained that we had changed the reservation the day before, but the host said there was no record of that. So he told us to wait. After about 15 minutes we checked with the host about the status of our table. He told us we likely would not be able to dine there because there were no tables for 5. (Again, the restaurant was mostly empty.) But, he said he would look into it. He did not look into it. Instead, we waited quietly for another 15 minutes while the host did nothing. Finally, 30 minutes after our scheduled and confirmed reservation we again asked the host about the status of the table. He said he could not seat a party of 5; he insinuated that we had lied about having changed our reservation the day before; and he said we would not be able to dine there. He was disrespectful and insulting. He instructed us to leave. So we left. The other 4 people in our party -- who had been seated -- paid for their drinks and left shortly after to join the rest of us for dinner at another restaurant. (They did not order food at Blue Moon.) The next day, that group of 4 received a large credit card charge from the restaurant for "not showing for a confirmed reservation". They called the restaurant about this charge and relayed the story above. The restaurant refused to remove the charge and again accused us of lying about having changed our reservation from 8 to 9 people. Only after disputing the transaction with the credit card company was the charge removed. I have been coming to Rehoboth for well over a decade -- including many times to Blue Moon, which used to be the epicenter of LGBTQ+ nightlife in Rehoboth (but sadly is now just a shell of its former self). Never have I experienced anything like this in Rehoboth -- or anywhere else. This was the most basic and simple situation for the restaurant to resolve -- they literally could have just added a 5th seat to a table (as we suggested several times). They could have pushed two tables together in the largely empty restaurant. Or they could have just apologized and said they couldn't seat us and offered to reschedule for another night, perhaps even with a small credit or free drink. Instead, they were dismissive of us, accused us of lying, and charged us over $100 for their own ineptitude and nastiness. None of the 9 of us will ever go there again. You shouldn't either.

Yelp
Celebrating our wedding anniversary was such a great experience at the. Blue Moon! We sat in the "front porch" at a table in front of a window; such a cozy setting! Our server, Jessica, was wonderful and helped us narrow down our choices from the delicious menu; her service, personality and humor were wonderful! The food was amazing. The fried green tomato appetizer was confirmed by Jessica as one of the most popular and it was terrific: crispy perfect outside, firm and tasty tomato inside with the savory flavor of the herbed cheese and sweet tender onion jam all coming together beautifully. The stuffed shrimp entree was cooked perfectly with lots of crab stuffing, the creamiest whipped potatoes and smooth beurre blanc, finished with lovely firm asparagus spears. We were so full, but couldn't resist dessert after finding everything else so delicious...so the strawberry tart was fantastic! The berries were sweet and firm, the pastry base was just thick enough to provide structure and had a lovely vanilla flavor, with super smooth sweet creamy custard inside. I live in Virginia and hadn't been to Rehoboth for 40 years, but the Blue Moon will bring me back again after that meal! (We also met a couple at an adjacent table who have been coming to this restaurant every year for over 30 years...they live in Texas!) Thank you Blue Moon for a very memorable dinner!

Yelp
Update: I figured the owner would reply given the other 1 star reviews I read on here and on google. I could leave it at that but.... 1. "Extra guests" we had one extra person show up with us. In MY experience you don't seat a party that big until everyone is present to mitigate people getting up and down and adding on to the party. My partner asked for an extra chair and you graciously complied so we didn't think it was an issue. Which btw we thanked you for. 2. Do you not allow cakes or did we read a "cake cutting fee" incorrectly? That I again will repeat was not cut or given plates for. Actually you probably shouldn't allow cakes because I've never heard of serving a cake BEFORE dinner comes out. Something to think about. 3. I think once half the party doesn't even receive their dinner we are allowed to get up to move to watch a performance that's out of view. 80% of the tables were empty LONG before the show started. I saw nobody sitting at the bar (which was behind us) "upset" in fact they were all smiling. There are no signs either that clearly state to "please stay seated for the performance". Which you should have if those are the expectations of your guests. 4. As for the drink I verbatim heard my friend tell you she "just simply didn't like the drink and would pay for it AND a new one". She NEVER refused to pay for it. So how is that asking for a free drink? Or is it just simply laziness considering how poorly the drink was made as well as being refused to order a completely different drink? 5. It's interesting how you only refer to others who enjoyed your microwaved steak. You have nothing to say about the horrid quality of ours not to mention the uncooked fish. You didn't put up a fight at all about taking it off the bill which I think is very telling considering each steak is $50. 6. No one in our party screamed at anyone. Isn't having cooked food, correct temperatures on steaks, good drinks, and good service an expectation when dining at a restaurant? When not any of those are received you should expect to be confronted about it. 7. Finally in my experience in the service industry, if we were truly as TERRIBLE and disturbing as you say. Maybe you should have refused service. Simple as that. Oh and yeah cameras/video don't really pick up attitude and cursing:)

Yelp
Food was delicious. Service was great. Went there two times in a few weeks during our stay in Rehoboth. Everyone's selections were very good. I had the swordfish - delish!

Yelp
I asked AI what restaurants were open for Sunday dinner within .75 miles of the Avenue Inn hotel. It listed 4 including this one. What a find! Thank you AI. We had a delicious meal with some great Sunday specials - a $29 filet mignon dinner and a $29 bottle of wine! We even shared a salad (surprisingly tasty, even for someone who isn't a salad fan!). My husband raved about the seafood pasta, calling it one of the best dishes he's ever had. Top it all off with wonderful and informative service from our waitress Kat, and this place is a definite must-do on our trip to Rehoboth next year!

Yelp
Great food and service. John Flynn serenaded us on the piano while we ate - wonderful! And Bingo at 9 was hysterical! The hosts sang and joked while we played. Very entertaining! Highly recommend dinner and Bingo on Tuesday nights.

Yelp
Make reservations!!! Try to get the main dining room- it's a bit quieter than the back room, which gets sone energy from the bar and/or the drag show. The service? Excellent. Bright friendly. Knowledgeable servers every time! The food? Amazing. Truly. Literally everything we've gotten both main courses and sides of been amazing. My partner had the duck breast which was excellent and succulent. I had the chicken pot pie survey because the server thought it was particularly good. And it was great, and hearty. our apps were excellent crawfish egg rolls; the fried green tomatoes were perfectly cooked- not too soft, not too hard! Prices are 20% above the beach average and worth every penny- especially when compared to that seafood restaurant on Rehoboth Avenue.... :)

Yelp
Relaxed evening spot in downtown Rehoboth with a welcoming vibe. We happened to arrive during a live music performance, which was a lovely surprise. We came to Blue Moon with one thing in mind: the Bombe! A local favorite for 40 years, this monster ice cream layer cake is worth the $20 for the quality ice cream, meringue and chocolate (and the experience!) The dessert coffees were a miss, however. Tasted more like a haphazard mixture of syrups than a soothing coffee to close out a meal. Overall, Blue Moon gets a solid 4/5 for its dessert menu!

Yelp
My only regret from my visit to Blue Moon was not taking a representative picture of the food. Came across that Tuesday night is bingo with Sister Dot at 8 PM. Free with food purchase. Winners get entered into a gift card raffle at the end of the month (do not need to be present). 10/10. I'm not sure if they always have this but there was a Tuesday tasting menu. $49 for 3 courses plus wine pairings. Yes, absolute killer deal. First course I had the salmon tartar. Really fresh and nice balance of flavors. Second course I had the scallops over corn cooked in bacon (not sure if there is a better name for it). THIS WAS THE BEST DISH I HAD DURING MY 5 DAYS IN REHOBOTH. Scallops cooked perfectly and that corn. Tariq, the viral corn kid, would have been singing praise - so good I considered going back a second time but they are closed on Wednesdays. Then had Crème Brûlée for dessert. Honestly, just okay. I like my brûlée a little crunchier. Overall, excellent food and great service. I would definitely come back on a future visit to Rehoboth.

Yelp
THIS IS FOR OFF-SEASON BRUNCH ONLY We have been coming to Rehoboth several times a year for many years and I've been wanting to try Blue Moon forever. We went for Brunch and I have to say I was a bit disappointed. We walked in and said happy new year to the gentleman at the host stand and he literally held his hand up to us and then listened to a voicemail or something. The table we were taken to (by someone else) was right at the window which was lovely but it was SO close to the next table the gentleman behind me and I kept bumping. They really pack you in there! If you are either a larger person or someone that doesn't want a stranger sitting in your lap, perhaps request something to accommodate when you book. The service was extremely slow. We got our cinnamon bun before the drinks (coffee, ice tea- not even talking DRANKS yet) even came out. The orange juice in my mimosa was delicious but I think there might have been a half pour of champagne (or none at all)- it wasn't even fizzy! I've also never had a mimosa with ice and a straw. Next time I'll just get champagne. The crab cake Benedict was fine. Being at the beach I was imagining crab cakes that were amazing lump, and they were good, but lots of filler and very, very small. The potatoes were good but I was not blown away by anything. I ordered a second drink and it came at the very end after we'd asked for the check. I want to come back for dinner and a show and give it another chance- it gets pretty good reviews and has been a staple in Reho for so long I might have just gotten them on a bad day or the off-season just isn't up to par. I'm giving four stars because I hope to have my mind changed! Stay tuned!

Yelp
I got food poisoning here in August. It was very unpleasant. Stay far away from the duck please for your own sake. The service was great. but vomiting in their bathroom, really ruined the experience for me... so it's gonna be a no for me babes.

Yelp
This place was phenomenal. The food was just very creative. Lots of flavor delicious. The portions are pretty good size and they have a good size selection of wines. The pasta with jumbo shrimp scallops and lobster was super delicious, but Rich and the squash with crab soup was just out of this world. The cabaret show was just fantastic. It's a must if you are in the area. Autumn was such an enlightenment and great performer that made the evening memorable.

Yelp
My partner and I went to blue moon for happy hour and had a couple of tasty drinks. The back bar was full so we sat at the smaller front bar. I had a cucumber basil gimlet and my partner had the mango mojito. He also wanted to try the crawfish enrolls which were very good and a great size! It's a great deal for a couple of strong drinks for sure.

Yelp
Blue Moon is a lovely restaurant and entertainment venue. Our entrees were delicious and well-prepared. I appreciate the plating style of the Chef. My partner loved her martini! Their cocktail list is extensive and creative. Additionally, as a queer couple we were very comfortable here. Rehoboth Beach is LGBT+ friendly and Blue Moon is the premier destination! Service was conscientious without being over the top. We stayed for the drag show and it was wonderful! The only downside (the reason i am giving four not five stars) is the flies. The flies are bad and they took away from the ambiance. Granted we were sitting on the bar side and the door is open + there are double doors leading to the patio from the bar that are also open. The owner came to our table and said they make efforts to keep them away which I appreciated.

Yelp
This is a pretty easy review, haha. All you need to know off the bat is delicious. The service was impeccable, our waiter was funny, he was engaging, and he was attentive. He chatted just the right amount to be fun and funny, but not so much that he was a pest, and we were super happy with Ellio! (Thank you Ellio!!) The ambiance was spectacular its inviting when you first walk in. The atmosphere is a warm and welcoming place, pass through the bar (also a cool space) into some more intimate dining areas. You can hear each other speak, you can enjoy your meal, just all around a great ambiance! The photos and awards on the wall only adds to the experience. Finally the food, the best for last right? The only disappointment was that there wasn't more lamb on my plate but the ratatouille made up for it easily. My wife got the truffle Mac and cheese and adored it, everything was cooked to perfect temperature and generally amazingly done. Well done, well played, we will be back. 5/5, well deserved.

Veronica L M.

Yelp
We have always had great food & experiences here in past. Octopus app was excellent. SwordFish amazingly tender & well seasoned. Only issues: 1-Hubby had a gristly tough steak over cooked from his med rare order-$$$ & 2-long wait for our entrees for some reason. Others seated after us & bigger parties had theres' a good amount of time ahead of us? Server did apologize but no reason given. Another patron sent his same steak back rt same issue at table next to us. Hoping just a fluke.

Becky W.

Yelp
Great food and service. Loved the location. The shrimp were huge! The food presentation was professional. I would definitely go back
google avatar

Tom B.

Yelp
In short - disappointed. Had a res for 2 and we were seated at what I can only call a corner banquette. The host had to pull out the table so we could sit. Once reinstalled, the table kept my legs pinned for the entire meal. Service was fine and the fried green tomatoes were ok. A bit drowned out by the cream sauce. The chicken & waffles were well prepared, but the buttermilk chicken came spicy. The menu only said "buttermilk chicken", never mentioned spice. The crab cake in my sandwich was burned on one side. I had to cut the crust with a knife. It came with fries which I tried to sub for something else, but the only other choice was sweet potato fries. Places that are well recommended, as Blue Moon is, need to execute every night and not ride on reputation. This was a miss.

Yelp
Not good. We reserved weeks in advance for our special holiday. Arrived to attitude and worst table. Service was barely acceptable with attitude in poor taste. Food was unforgiveable. Have eaten here before and found it just ok or really miss. Thought we would try again. Wish we hadn't gone back. Never again... It was b.a.d. no other words can come to mind other than steer clear. There are many many other restaurants in Reho that appreciate their customers enough to serve edible food...any other than this 'restaurant' is better by far. Not sure how BM stays open with such disregard for quality and cleanliness. It's akin to eating at a friend of a friend's house who can't cook and just when you think it can't get worse, dessert comes.

Yelp
I have waited years to try this restaurant, and I'm sorry to say that it wasn't what I had hoped. Upon arrival, the host was kind and promptly got us to our table- we requested the patio. Next came our server, who reluctantly gave us a happy hour menu upon request. I had a good dirty martini and my wife had a glass of moscato. Next, the Mexican shrimp cocktail (which was basically ceviche) and the market salad hit the table. The shrimp was good but lacked salt. The salad was absolutely smothered in goat cheese, to the point where it's all you could taste. We decided to split a filet mignon for dinner and add an extra side. The steak was delivered with no steak knife and no extra plate. It took quite some time for anyone to come over so we could request a knife and cut into the steak. The steak was chewy, despite being cooked med rare. The entire meal needed salt badly. The Brussels were hard and undercooked. The Beurre Rouge was cold. Our app plates sat on the table, full of the food we requested boxes for prior, along with the menus and our empty cocktail glasses. No bussing was done until the very end of the meal. The server came over and tried to take my wife's plate and I asked if he could please let me take the little side salad before the plate was removed, and he seemed so surprised/caught off guard and shocked that we wanted to save the food and not have it thrown away. He did end up leaving with the steak sauce before I could catch him, which we were charged $3 for. We were never offered another round of drinks and quite honestly, we just felt like an inconvenience to him. I've had much better steaks and far better service elsewhere.

Yelp
Food and service were excellent. Sizeable portions. Downside the tables with booths are very small and uncomfortable.

Yelp
Excellent in every way. We went here for Valentines Day, and were not disappointed. The service was great, to the point where I barely noticed them exchanging my silverware and refilling my water. We started with cocktails, then oysters for our appetizer. We ordered the lamb and the stuffed shrimp... the portions were large enough for us to take home leftovers. We finished off our meal with the S'Mores cocktail , so yummy!

Veronica H.

Yelp
Always a restaurant you can count on for a great meal with warm staff, cozy ambiance, and entertainment if you choose to go into bar. Blue Moon is a gem that has always stayed on the Rehoboth top 5! Great for family, friend, or intimate night on the town.

Yelp
Have never been treated so horribly. Food was under cooked and service awful! Owner was there and very angry, ugly. Would not recommend at all. Felt almost discriminated against being a group of women. Please do not support this business

Yelp
Wow, wow. We had no reservation but the fabulous host found a place for us. I cannot tell you how happy I am that we went here tonight. I got the tomahawk veal chop. My husband got the duck breast. Both were to die for. He's getting dessert as well, which is a big shocker for us. The cocktails were fabulous. My food was so good. It was a 14 ounce veal chop. I completely consumed and I am so happy I did. I did substitute the duck fat fingerlings for mashed Potatoes. I'm so happy I did. Service was excellent people that work here looks like they're happy to be here. Wow what a concept. This was our last dinner in Rehoboth and it was amazing.

I have been here several times. This time I felt that the food was fine, but maybe our dishes not outstanding/ price worthy. The tables were so close together that we watched multiple folks knock over neighbor's drinks attempting to exit. wait staff was very good.

Yelp
This place is friggin amazing. We planned to just have an early dinner but when we learned of the show coming up... we stayed! Started with delicious drinks and staff that made you feel like you were welcomed guest. We had the fried green tomatoes for app and the BEST I ever had. They were not squishy or slimy at all... perfectly fried, seasoned and lightly drizzled with a delicious sauce. This short rib had very little fat. That is impressive. Ow cooked and tender, no knife needed. They even had cute little candles that made a cute ambiance as the night fell and the skylight darkened. Dessert... oh yes... key lime pie and bread pudding. This will be a place we go every time we are in Rehoboth. Make it a date night or come with friends... all are welcomed!

Yelp
Wow! What amazing food! My sister took me here to celebrate my birthday tonight. It was beyond delicious and such a fun time. I had the mozzarella Burrata which is with cherry tomatoes, grilled mango and pistachios. A bit different than I'm used to but so good! The mango could have been a bit riper but still so tasty. My entree was the filet mignon with mashed potatoes. I like my meat well done! Yes, well done! This was made to order and so tender and yummy! Whatever they season the meat with is out of this world delicious! The mashed potatoes were so creamy. For dessert I had the lemon blueberry bread pudding. I'm not a fan of bread pudding but I'm a fan of this bread pudding! It was very tasty but so large, I had to take half home! My alcoholic drinks of choice were the Tropical Coconut Martini and the Frozen Fresh Peach Daiquiri. Both went down so nicely! Tonight the show was Legends! A lot of fun! They all had great stage presence and worked the room. We had Martha Wash, Etta James, Barry White and Freddie Mercury! Make your reservation early because they are booked up! You may feel it's a bit pricey but the show is included and it's good that is just outrageously delicious! You will not be sorry! Everything was outstanding!

Yelp
This was our first and best meal of vacation! We started with the fried green tomato appetizer which was delicious! Even the bread and herbed butter was great. Everyone got the $29 8oz Filet Sunday Special and absolutely loved it! Excellent service. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Blue Moon boost serving their community for over 40 years. This establishment is located on 35 Baltimore Avenue in Rehoboth Beach Delaware 302-227-6515. Previously own by 4 gentlemen. Now 2 remaining men of which they both could use some very need custom service skills & classes. Tim is very curt, brisk, and even to the point of being rude to his patron's. Randy can be just as curt and brisk also. I have seen quite the staff turn over too. Blue Moon advertises that the menu changes with the season's. I have had dinner many times through Fall, Winter, and Summer and the menu has stayed the same. It gets very boring. The food is good however, it is very limited specifically for vegetarians ($$$$ menu is online). I wish they would update their menu. They have excellent shows 7 days a week all different. That is one of the only reasons I keep going back to the Blue Moon. Considering the small venue space the talent has to perform in and on. They do and outstanding job. A few of my favorite show's are Wednesday Games with Magnolia, Thursday Roxi-Overbrook what a relaxing evening to unwind. If you want a bit of risqué show then Sunday is your evening with the Award winning "Climax show with Magnolia AppleBottom." Not for young children under 16. Make sure to make reservations. The show's sell out quickly. My suggestion to make a fun night take in a show and dinner be sure to make a reservation. If you are not a late night person most shows do end by 11:00 p.m. If you run into the owners perhaps from this review they will adjust their attitudes. Because customer services is what makes a place. Not just the same limited menu. Lucky for the Owner's, have the talent there keep the customers coming back for the entertainment. Roxie-Overbrook, Magnolia AppleBottom, and all the other talented people who do so well performing show's for their patron's who frequent the Blue Moon. Thank you for a great time every time.

Yelp
We stopped in very quickly for a night of fun and the dinner time Illusions show while visiting Rehoboth. I was really blown away by Blue Moon! The restaurant is very beautiful. There is a gorgeous dining room, a large bar area, and another huge area with a bar, cocktail tables, a stage, and a retractable roof. I was very impressed. The food and drinks were spot on. We just got some apps and cocktails. I loved the fries and the brussel sprouts. I also loved their specialty cocktails. The waiter recommended some great drinks and kept us laughing all night. Now for the show, that was truly a spectacle to behold. I knew there would be drag, but I didn't know it was a live singing occasion! That was such an amazing surprise. They were all such awesome performers and worked the crowd so well, despite the social distancing! The Patti LaBelle portion of the show really took the cake though. That was like out of this world singing. It could have been Patti her damn self up there! I was blown away.

Yelp

Yelp
For a fine dining experience the restaurant was a disappointment. The grilled octopus appetizer was probably the worst I ever had. The octopus was over cooked and charred. The andouille sausage pieces were dried out and tough to chew. (The restaurant did credit me the $19 for this appetizer.) The entrees wee fine. We went on a Thursday night off season and the establishment was not busy other than the bar area. The servers were fine. I would not go back.

Yelp
Disappointing. The entertainment was fun but we were treated very poorly. We were rushed out after just finishing our meal. The waiter whizzed by and dropped our check on the table without even asking if we wanted anything else like dessert or a coffee. not even a thank you. we were not even there an hour. Not a word even after we paid. if you are going to charge over 40 bucks for an average entree at least have good service. will never go back.

Yelp
Had dinner in the Atrium. Food was excellent. The show was really fun. However, our waiter was very inattentive, unfriendly and just plain rude. Wont be back for that reason.

Yelp
Brunch...loved the blueberry scones. Much shaved down menu, was a little disappointed in the selections. Decided on the crab cake Benedict. Eggs were not consistent. 3 of us ordered this and we each had one egg overcooked. We are not sure what happened to the Hollandaise sauce? Was going to ask for some on the side but our server was swamped so we did without. Not up to our standards we expect from the "Moon". I'm sure we will be back but wish this visit had been better.
