Blue Orchid Thai Restaurant

Date Night Although I adore Thai food, it was our first time at Blue Orchid (yeah, I know). Neither of us realized it's like hidden in an alley, we had been wondering why we'd never driven by it before. No reservation but they were only half full so we were seated right away. My husband was immediately thrilled to find Hot Sake on the menu. We chose a couple of starters. He, the Chicken Satay, dude loves chicken on a stick...what can I say?! He barely touched the peanut sauce but was super happy with the marinade on the meat itself. Got a Spring Roll, it was kinda weird and gummy and confusing. Also the Veggie Tempura which was pretty lacking in the tempura coating but the Sweet & Sour sauce accompanying it was magical! It even made the Broccoli extra yummy, I ate everything but the Baby Corn cuz it is an abomination 😆. The sauce was nearly identical to the Cucumber Salad and I wished I would have brought a Vat of it home! My husband adores soup and the Tom Kha was calling his name, added Chicken for protein. Absolutely delicious, he said he'd drive here just for that. I thought it looked amazing and I don't even do soup. He chose the Crying Tiger off the Signature menu. Steak and Edamame. Great flavors, great cook, so much meaty-ness! When I saw the Masaman Curry I got excited! I fell in love with this flavor profile at Banhwich Cafe. I chose Tofu for my protein. Layers of flavors, yummy coconut, not enough veggies for me though so I may just go that route next time. Finished with a Pineapple Basil Cocktail. Had a bite to it, very good drink. Our server Charty was so personable and did a Great job! The wonderful thing about Thai food is you can swap your proteins on most items. Service: We were in town for some work and we heard good reviews about this Thai restaurant so decided to go for a dinner. We reached the nearest cross roads there but were not able to locate this place. We called the restaurant from literally diagonally across the street from I think a Hilton. We got directions to get there plus the parking suggestions. That was very nice of them and we give 5 star for the service. Once we entered the ambience is nice and we were seated at a table of our choice. They also accommodated our request to get our food early as we had another event we need to go for. Food: We ordered two vegetarian entrees and coconut milk soup. I would give the food no more than 3 stars. The soup was bland and missing Thai spices and the zing! I guess we are spoiled probably from the northern California Thai Food! The food was bland and missing on taste. Atmosphere: There were a lot of people at the restaurant even at around 9PM that is a good thing. The decorations and lighting were good! Their restrooms were clean and tidy.

We came in as a party of four on a Saturday evening. We seated very quickly, which surprised me but I obviously didn't mind. It turns out we were just earlier than the normal rush. Be sure to know where to park before arriving, there really isn't anywhere to park here so we had to locate a garage, which was just fine. The one 1 block north gives you the first hour free. We started with an appetizer of Duck Rolls. They were so delicious! Highly recommend starting out with an order of these. We ordered Basil Fried Rice (first picture), the second picture is Bun Noodles, and not pictured but ordered was Beef Noodle Soup and Asian Delight. We all enjoyed our food, it was good, but decided we would probably try something different the next time we dined here. The staff was amazing. Very professional host who seated is and filled out water glasses. The waitress was very kind, knowledgeable about the menu, and was very attentive without it being over the top. If you haven't been here before give it a try.

Bartender working tonight was LAZY. If you're going to be a bartender then take care of the people who sit at the bar. Not just stand at the end and chat/take care of your 2 friends that are sitting there. At the end the server told me the bartender was there to help bc they got busy...but thats not an excuse to not help the people sitting at the bar if you're the one and only bartender. The server I had was great (Jake). But he had half the restaurant to help...why should he be helping anyone sitting at the bar. I sat at the bar to get drinks and food. I was there an hour and a half and got 1 drink.....1! And only because the server got it for me after I had been sitting at the bar for 10min and the bartender hadn't said squat to me. Not a Hi or how are you doing....NOTHING. The bartender didn't even acknowledge me one time. He kept bragging to his friends about how he had trainees under him and how much he knew about the booze and drinks........but what about actually helping the people there to irder drinks....he actually took them to thw back where the keep the wine and left the bar for 10min. I'm sorry but you're there to work and make drinks for everyone in the restaurant, not showboat to your friends.

I hadn't been here in years and I was so pleased to find out that the food and drinks here are better than ever. The Thai iced tea and pineapple basil cocktail both tasted so delicious. We just about inhaled our meals as well: the Pacific medley with white rice, and the Khao soi (curried noodles). Everything was excellent, including the service and the ambiance. We will be back. 🍛

Wow. I could not have asked for a better night! We surprised my parents for their 50th wedding anniversary at Blue Orchid (none of their kids live in Lincoln anymore). From the beginning, the staff was great. We had a table of 11, brought in gifts, and balloons, changed plans a few times - and they were professional and helpful throughout. Our server was AMAZING. He deserves a medal. We were not his only table but we felt like we were as he was constantly checking in on us and making sure everything was okay. At the end, they even did a champagne / ginger beer toast for all of us which made the evening that much more special. For 11 people with a couple of drinks each, four shared appetizers, and mains for everyone, the bill was about $600 which I don't think is bad at all.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and respectful, making the experience even more enjoyable. Their cocktails were also amazing—crafted with great flavor and balance. Highly recommend!

The variety when you need it... What I went during lunch time and selected the lunch special of one appetizer and one lunch item. I got the Spring Rolls for appetizer. Definitely was not what I imaged, the description said it was steamed but i felt more like it was microwaved. The sauce on top was also quite different, not my fav. I asked for this to be made without eggs but it still came out with eggs. For those that are very particular with the dietary needs, please be careful. I then got the red curry with tofu. It was okay, mediocre. It got the job done in terms of filling my hunger but I wouldn't say it enticed my tastebuds. Environment very nice place. There are a lot of seating inside. Niceness of the staff Super nice staff. I was able to put in my order with no issues. They also adjusted my lunch special pricing to compensate for bring the appetizer with the egg inside. Dollar Decent. The lunch special was $13.95 which included an appetizer and main course. Yes? If I have no other option.

Excellent. I came with large a group while visiting family. It's inside the Grand Manse building, so it can be a little tricky to find. Service was great, even with a large group. I had the Pad See Ew with beef and it was fantastic. This is my typical dish at Thai restaurant and it was some of the best I've ever had. As a group, we shared the mussels, fried prawns and duck roll appetizers and all were very good as well. I'll definitely return on future visits.

Always a great experience here! I generally come here with my mom for special occasions and we get the same things (Orchid Chicken and Garlic & Ginger). Each time we've had consistently great food and warm, positive service. Emily, Emma, & Jake were excellent examples of professional service you don't see nowadays from the meal we just had. The one complaint I have is that the Diet Coke is rather flavorless/bland, but their curated cocktail menu looks absolutely well-done! Can't wait for the next birthday or other occasion! :)

Avoid This Place at All Costs! If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This was hands down the worst dining experience I've ever had. First off, we had a reservation for our party of 8, so they knew we were coming. Despite that, it took over an hour for our food to arrive. When we finally asked the manager/owner about the delay, she had the audacity to tell us that it's "normal" for people to wait 55 minutes for food here. Seriously?? But wait, it gets worse. She went on to explain that she prioritized smaller tables (like couples) who came in after us because we were a larger group. So basically, if you're not a table of two, you're out of luck. It's infuriating to think that our reservation--and our time--meant so little to them. The food wasn't even worth the wait. There are far better Thai restaurants in town where you won't be treated like an afterthought. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

We made a reservation here for my husband's birthday, which was pleasantly acknowledged upon check-in. Loved the ambiance, and the vibe was active with people of all ages enjoying food, drink and conversation. We had a good server, who knew the menu and was willing to ask the chef when I had questions specific to dietary needs. My cocktail was well-made and my husband could get his favorite, an authentic Hefe Weizen beer. Four stars because timing was a little off as the kitchen was very busy! But ultimately the food was good. We tried something new to us, Meyung Kun Wraps, which were delicious and I will replicate at home; however the make-your-own ingredients were a bit too sparse. My husband enjoyed his Pacific seafood medley. I felt my Asian vegetable stir fry was under seasoned and the broccoli was under cooked. Overall a nice experience, not rushed, a great environment and fresh tasting food.

Not real easy to find but we did. And my lucky day, as the owner is actually here and will do their dinner selections for lunch...only today our waiter says!! Wow cool. So Pacific Medley is requested. Spring Rolls we are sharing and B is doing the Asian Delight Spring Roll is quite different than we have had. I really like this way. Pacific Medley was simply wonderful. Definitely a 'Best Of' Lincoln food experience.

Nice place and pretty good food! I love trying new local spots. This one I'd heard a lot about bc everyone raves about it. I like Thai food but there aren't too many Thai spots around. I like authentic and also to try new things. The atmosphere is very neat. It's located in one of Lincoln's most historic buildings the site of the old original courthouse. There's even a sushi place, salon, and apartments/condos. I was impressed by the layout. The service was good and food was pretty good too. No major complaints or issues. I had pad Thai with beef which was thinly sliced. It and the tofu were a tad overdone tbh. I liked the peanuts and sauce with the noodle's though very addicting. The blue water glasses are a signature thing along the blue lights around the restaurant and bamboo which is pretty neat. A good date spot and I'd probably come back again to try something else sometime! Their cocktails also looked good but I wasn't in the mood for one. :)

I love the ambiance at this place! It is calm and serene. And I appreciate the varied menu - more than the typical Thai place. I have learned to ask for less sugar in my dish to get to a more authentic flavor (also personal preference). But in all other aspects the food is great!

Ordered delivery. Curry with rice. Staying at a hotel and not one utensil was provided. No chopstick, spoon, fork. I had to raid the coffee bar and try to eat with coffee stirrers? 10/10 do not recommend. What I could manage to eat was delicious but not the type of food you slurp.

My wife and I tried to try your guys food but first off you guys are about impossible to find at night, second off the fact you have no parking lot is bad, we really wanted to try your food but after driving around and around for so long trying to find your location on google maps and parking we got frustrated and decided to go elsewhere. My suggestion find another location that's easier to find and has a parking lot.

Came here for lunch on a Thursday. Came in through the inside of the building by accident. We called and one of the employees let us in. We didn't know there was an outside entrance. It didn't seem super busy, but there was only one person waiting tables and packing the to-go orders, so he was super busy. I got the lunch special with pad see ew "with chicken" and the spring rolls. The spring roll were different from anything I've ever had that were labeled spring rolls, but super delicious and flavorful. Got my pad see ew plate and after several bites, noticed that there was no chicken on my plate. On of my cowokers also ordered squid with his dish and didn't get it. So the waiter had to go back and have them cook the meat to give separately. Also, most of us ordered the lunch size, and one of us ordered the full size entree but all the plates and portions were the same size. The flavor of the pad see ew was lacking, overall for me. But my coworkers seemed to like their food. The missing meat and the time it took for the whole meal was pretty bad tho.

We had a concert to attend! We made an early reservation and were the only people when we arrived. Our appetizers and drink order was taken quickly .... But the main course was extremely late coming out from the kitchen. The restaurant was now completely full. People ate their meals and left. We were still not served the main course. Several times we ask the waiter and he gave us lame excuses. We will not be coming back.

We initially ordered Thai beef noodle soup and lamb masaman. The server informed us that NEITHER was available. Ok. So we then ordered Drunken noodle with Squid (spicy level 2) and Penang curry with scallop (spicy level 1). My drunken noodle was tasty. Good portion with several pieces of tender squid. Heads up! They charged $5 extra for the squid! But it was DEFINITELY NOT a 2 in spiciness. There were several pieces of Thai green chili that I kept mistaking for green bell peppers. My mouth was burning! I've never had a 2 that included Thai green chili's. While I enjoyed the dish, they DEFINITELY USED MSG. My mouth has been dry and thirsty since dinner. The Penang curry was a whole other story. It came out LUKE WARM. And it was basically 4 medium sized scallops in a bowl of soupy curry. Each scallop cost $2!! THAT WAS IT. There was NOTHING ELSE in the bowl. It came with a small bowl of rice. While the scallops were tender, the dish was DEFINITELY NOT WORTH the $24 we paid. See photos. Our server was very pleasant and sweet. The restaurant was tastefully decorated and clean. Not worth what we paid. We won't be back.

I felt scammed. I ordered delivery when the place was a 4 min walk and and paid about $47 including a %20 tip. I had the tempura chicken and with beef and shrimp fried rice with egg. The delivery person never knocked at the door. So the food was already cold by the time i realized it was here. Tempura chicken was old and microwaved. Right rice was $5-8 quality, if that. I paid a $3 extra charge for shrimp, and only one little shrimp on top came with the rice. Lacking in beef also. Meal was 93% old oily rice. I put that I was staying at a hotel in the delivery notes. But not plates, or cutlery or napkins. And not to mention no flavor.

What happened? Pre-covid this place was great. I hope we just caught them on a bad night, but the service, wait times and food were all bad. The drinks were nice though, once we got them. Stoped in at 8 pm on a Saturday night hoping for a nice dinner before attending a wedding next door at the Jasmine Room. It was about an hour before we got our food and when it arrived it was just not good. Pork pad Thai was a fail in statistical categories. The pork was dry, tasteless and had all the charm of leftovers heated up with some over-cooked noodles and tossed on a plate. There were some larger parties at big tables in the back, but a little communication would have gone a long way. In fact, I had to ask a member of the host staff for service after we were seated and no one came to the table for 15 minutes. The person who sat us took our order. After a long wait our food arrived by who I assume was our server, she appeared irritated with us and was certainly unapologetic about the experience. Again, just a little communication could have smoothed over the entire service issue. I suffered through a few bites of my food, asked for the bill and we were on our way. If Blue Orchid can't turn out a decent pad Thai, what's the point?

I had my daughter and future son-in-law visiting in town, both are in the Air Force and are getting married this week. We had reservations but the only tables available were outside. I went there because it was a rather special night. We ordered the prawn cakes but were told they were out of them so we ordered other appetizers that ended up being just ok, I wouldn't order them again. Our dinner came and mine frankly had meat in it that was very over cooked. (It was the Perfect Trio). When we were about done eating, the table next to us were served prawns. We asked our waiter and his answer was that they were special guests. I guess we weren't too special. We all walked away and felt we had been treated pretty badly. I am not sure I will ever go back here.

Fantastic. Very flavorful, and the heat is real. Good service and ambiance. Will definitely be coming back.

My girlfriend and I have been coming here for over a year. We always come back because of how much we love the food and how nice and professional the whole staff is. If you enjoy a nice, professional but easy going ambiance, this is the place to be. We always celebrate our big occasions here.

We really hope the service & food last night is not an indication that this restaurant is not interested in surviving. Took forever to get cocktails & appetizer. No food after an hour and the chicken and beef was tough with no flavor. One couple walked out after an hour when they didn't have food. We were going to a Lied show and had to rush once we got our food. Not a great experience whatsoever. Hire some staff or you won't make it!

Food was very good. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I wasn't in the mood to drink, so the bartender made me up a yummy mocktail, and I loved it. I'm a vegetarian and the vegetarian options were great. I had the drunken noodle with tofu and vegetables. Perfectly spicy, and a huge portion. It was a weeknight for dinner, and it wasn't too busy. Service was quick. I'll be back!

The food was delicious, but the service was VERY slow. They might have been understaffed, but our party waited a while for service at various points in the evening.

I visit Lincoln NE periodically from the East Coast. It was such a treat to find this spot with excellent Thai food. It will definitely be on my list to revisit when I am back in town. We had the Green Curry with tofu. The curry was creamy and flavorful; the tofu just lightly toasted to a little crisp. My colleague had the Pad Thai which she reported was excellent. Rice was fluffy and fragrant. We tried the Thai spring rolls which were good, but I will definitely try another option next time. Our server, (Jacob? or Justin? sorry!) was super friendly and helpful. He recommended the Thai iced tea, which was also excellent.

We haven't been to Blue Orchid since the pandemic. The dinners we ordered were horrible. My wife ordered Butter Chicken. It was made with chicken that had been cooked previously and rewarmed. It had the "been in the refrigerator " flavor. The asparagus on her plate was old and tough. My Pacific Medley had a good flavored base sauce but every seafood in it was was horribly overcooked. We waited 15 minutes after being seated before we even caught the attention of a waiter. The place was not busy, half the tables were open. We each took a couple bites of our meals and asked for the check. Terrible experience. We will not be back and would certainly not recommend.

The food is amazing. Some of the best Asian food in Nebraska. The chicken pad Thai and fried spring rolls are especially good choices. Good service but can be a little slow. Nice atmosphere.

It's taken me too long to cross Blue Orchid off my list and overall I was pleased with my meal. I went with a small group of work friends on a weekday afternoon. It wasn't busy at all and I liked the quiet, calm, dimly lit space. We were seated quickly. The menu isn't too large, which I appreciate and there were plenty of choices but not too many to be overwhelming. I like that they have a smaller portioned lunch option that comes with an appetizer and starts around $10. A few of us ordered tea while we waited for our meal. I had a cold, sweetened tea. It was very unique. You could taste the bitterness of the tea and it tasted like more of an oolong instead of a black but I'm not entirely sure what kind of leaf it was. Then it's mixed with a sweet cream. The flavors are bizarre but surprisingly delicious. It reminded me of green tea ice cream at a sushi joint. I'm glad I tried it but it's not something I would order regularly. For appetizers we all ordered the spring rolls (cucumber, bean sprout, egg and marinated tofu rolled in this spring roll paper). I love spring rolls and was very disappointed by these which are steamed (making them very mushy) and drenched in a dark plum sauce. If I were to order them again, I'd ask for the sauce on the side. It's good but there was far too much. I don't think I'd get these again though, I didn't like the mushy texture. When it came to our entrees, everyone got something different. One of my friends prefers fairly simple dishes and she ordered the Chicken Tempura (lightly battered chicken tenderloins sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds and served with sweet and sour vinaigrette). She said it was really good, the breading was light, the chicken tender. She enjoyed the sauce but said it's strong and has a mint taste. Use sparingly. Another friend had the Orchid Chicken (sauteed chicken with chopped pineapple, cashew nuts, mushroom, green and yellow onions and garlic tossed in red chili paste). She said it was delicious and there was a nice balance between the sweet pineapple and spicy red pepper and green onions. A Blue Orchid favorite, Drunken Noodles, was another selection from one of my friends. Drunken Noodles are wide rice noodles with onion, egg, mushroom, tomato, jalapeno and basil leaf in a chili sauce. She said it was very good, spicy, but delicious and she added chicken. My fourth friends Garlic and Ginger was a hit (sliced fresh peppers, ginger, and garlic with mushroom, onion and preserved soybean). She also added chicken which she said was really moist. The ginger shoots surprised her at first and seemed a bit overpowering but it really made the flavor pop. The ginger balanced nicely with the garlic. She did say the soybeans kind of got lost in the dish. I ordered the Pad See-ew (wide rice noodles with garlic, egg, collard green and broccoli in dark soy sauce). I also added chicken. I saw it on a neighboring table and the mix of greens and noodles and broccoli looked delightful. And it was, after a little doctoring. The first few bites lacked in flavor. There is absolutely no spice so I added a bit of the red chili (I had to ask for it) and that helped tremendously. I think a little bit of salt would have taken it to the next level. As I continued to mix and eat the dish, the flavors were much better. It did have a hint of a fishy flavor with a sweetness. Next time I'll likely try another dish, I'd like to see what Blue Orchid has to offer. I'd get this again though if I wasn't feeling adventurous. I'm not sure if the lunch portions are smaller or not but the portion was generous. The service was prompt. The company even better. I liked the decor. I'll be back to explore the menu a little more. Was this the best Thai experience I've ever had? No. There is a place in Omaha that had a delicious meal that I will never forget. We went to Blue Orchid for lunch on a Friday. We should have walked out when it took 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us in a dining room with only 5 occupied tables. When we were sat, we immediately ordered as the service seemed slower than normal. We were charged twice for Thai rolls that were to be included with our lunch meal. The Thai rolls and curdled soup came out 1 hour after ordering and cold. In total we waited an hour and a half for our main food course (two orders of the same dish) to be delivered. We asked for water refills repeatedly and finally got a single refill when we asked for the check. Only 5 occupied tables and two walked about due to poor service. If they were unable to properly staff, they should be closing their doors for dine in or notify customers the food wait will be close to two hours.

The yellow curry is to die for. Service is quick and drinks are great too. One of my favorite places to eat

I've heard a lot about this place and was pleased to finally get to check it out a few weekends ago. I did try to stop by a couple months back and discovered they close after lunch for a few hours before opening for dinner again, so do keep that in mind. We went on a Friday night around 7:30 and were seated quickly. The atmosphere is calming with low lighting, a nice open dining room, and a subtle Thai ambiance in the decorations. The service was great and our order was taken quickly and food came out at a reasonable time. Nearly everything on the menu is gluten free so there are lots if options for those trying to avoid 'da glutensens My boyfriend had this amazing Thai iced tea that tasted like orange cream. We enjoyed the Chicken satay for an appetizer. The chicken was moist and tender and it came with a sweet and sour cucumber salsa and peanut sauce. The peanut sauce was amazing. I had the panang curry with scallops and he had the drunken noodles. I thought the panang was pretty good, decent scallop serving, and my boyfriend always loves the drunken noodles Price is pretty average and portion sizes are good, I took some home and they even sent extra rice with me. I'll definitely be going back.

I order the drunken noodles as vegan, you can have tofu or veggies. I normally leave it plain because I like it better that way. Basil fried rice made vegan is yummy too! A lot of dishes are already vegan. Highly recommend!

My first time in Lincoln, NE and the Blue Orchid came Highly recommended. Atmosphere: The atmosphere is dark. Feels like a warehouse. Not necessarily bad. Paper table covers over linen cloths. The conversations carry giving it a cafeteria like feel (which matches the paper table coverings). I cringe when I think of the noise level on a Friday night. Minus one star. Staff: The hostess and waiter were friendly and the service was prompt. Cocktail: Bitter Orange Cosmo. Lived up to its name. I should have known better. Minus one star for me. Appetizer: Baby Thai Rolls. Not particularly flavorful. Satisfying in a bar, finger-food, kind of way: hot. A little greasy. Pleasant dipping sauce. Would try something else next time, but no complaints. Wine selection: Plenty to choose from and reasonably priced. Entree: Crying Tiger. Medium rare. Not the typical Thai choice, but my personal favorite. I particularly like the version served at Siam Rice in the Chicago Loop on Wells. So that is the standard to beat. The entree came out rare. Sent it back. The sauce was sweet. Not the heat I would have expected from this dish. Both the hostess and the waiter followed up with me to make sure the dish was to my liking when it was brought back out. It was. The sticky rice and endgame were also excellent. Although the dish did not live up to my Siam Rice comparison, overall a very satisfying dish that delivered in the end. I can taste the mild heat and the flavors from the steak and the dipping sauce. The food is three stars. The service is 4.5. If you're looking for Thai that will blow your mind, this probably isn't it. But if your craving a decent Thai meal and your in town for a few nights at a hotel, definitely worth trying.

It's always good to stop in at Blue Orchid Thai when we are in town, been there several times & it never disappoints!

I'm so sorry to give this review but the food is worse than I expected. If you are looking for authentic Thai food, please skip this place. It's pricey and the food is not worth what you'll pay. Pad Thai = it was just a regular cheap Pad Thai that you can get from any inauthentic Thai restaurant. It's 14$ (+5-7$ for protein). It lacks of many main ingredients like dried shrimp, eggs, and bean sprout. The noodle was soggy. Tofu was not only too big to be in Pad Thai ( 1x2 inch ), it made the whole dish taste awful. The service is ok, but not very impressive. overall, it was a bit over price for food and service.

Food selection and quantity very good, service even better. Came with a large group on a busy night and servers were amazing! Mussels delicious and sweet basil chicken spot on.

My husband and I went here for dinner last night and what a disappointment. To start off, we were seated and it took 20 minutes to get a glass of water! My entree was terrible. I had Butter Chicken and the chicken they served was left over that had been reheated. It was like paying a premium for leftovers that I would not have eaten if I had it in my fridge at home. The asparagus that was served with it was also old(not fresh at all). Nothing about this experience was enjoyable. Will not waste money at this place ever again.

I was a bit disappointed. I hope I have a chance to come back and try some other menu items. The ambiance inside seemed fun and cozy, but it was too nice outside to be inside. Not a lot to look at on their patio tho. I got the yellow curry which was more like a soup honestly and the potatoes and chicken inside were not very flavorful. Dude but that drunkin money drink was my jam. I would order that on the reg if I lived in Lincoln.

Great Thai food - we got the Panang curry and khao soi - very highly recommend! The service was great - very attentive and full of excellent suggestions!

A favorite place for Sunday dinner or weekday lunch, always delicious. Lunch and dinner menus are different, with lunch including an appetizer from a list of options to accompany the main dish. Fewer main dish options at lunch, but the staples are all included, and the price point is less than dinner. Panang Curry is one of our favorites, and be sure to add vegetables for an additional $1. When it comes to heat/spice, the waiters are happy to coach you, and will make a note for the kitchen regarding your preferred heat level. Do take advantage of their expertise if you are new to a dish to ensure success.

We waited 25 minutes to get water. At the 35 minute mark we still hadn't gotten the drinks we ordered. At the 45-minute mark we left. Very disappointing, terrible service, would not go back.

Vibe: very classy, with table cloth & dim lighting. Really an elegant atmosphere. Suitable for romantic or family dinners. Food: Panang curry was a little sweet for my taste, but good nonetheless. Thick gravy, tender chicken & packed with flavor. Definitely worth it. If you can't tolerate sweet food, request to notch up the spiciness. Overall: 4/5 because service was slow.

I waited 10-20 minutes to be seated, waited another 10ish minutes to have a server come over with drinks, another 10 minutes to order, then proceeded to wait over an hour for food. We watched people come and go and finish their food. I saw tons of takeout orders and door dash orders. We were so busy waiting for to-go and takeout orders when we are sitting there waiting. We wanted to go to a bunch of places downtown while we were in town after but couldn't because by the time we got our food, everything was closed. I was super disappointed upon receiving our orders too. I can't believe I paid $20 for a plate of edamame and a few tiny slices of meat. Not worth it at all!!!! Our server wasn't present for the most part, which is whatever, but what irks me is the moment I pulled out my card the server quickly appeared to take it out of my hand. Unfortunately, we will not be coming back.

I should preface my review by saying Thai food is my favorite type of food. I was visiting Lincoln for a wedding and was excited to see that a Thai food place was close by our hotel and was also well rated. The restaurant was pretty inside and also had a good amount of seating. If you come here with a large group, they should be able to accommodate you. The service was good too, our waitress was very attentive, though our food took a bit of time to make. We got the Khao Soi and the basil chicken. The food was tasty but didn't really taste like Thai food. There were spices, but they seemed a little different from what we traditionally eat. I think another reviewer had mentioned that place was more of a Thai food inspired restaurant rather than a Thai food restaurant... I think that's a perfect way of putting it. I did enjoy the Thai toddy. I would recommend getting it if you're craving a warm drink. I would just suggest not getting it as sweet.

The food was just delicious and the lunch special was a great deal. With this being the only thai place in NE that has my wife's favorite thai dish (khoa soi), we were excited to come check it out. It lived up to hype and I would definitely recommend it. The spring rolls were wonderfully delicate like an orchid and the spicy pad thai had the perfect amount of kick. My wife's dish had great flavor which is what we hoped for with this unique dish. Definitely worth a drive from omaha if you're looking for a good authentic thai flavor. Tastes like the food was straight out of Chang Mai.

I am in town visiting and this place was recommended by someone who's judgement I trust. I ordered the pad Thai with chicken, no peanuts and ask for extra lime and a side of chili sauce. My pad Thai was dry, it had peanuts and the two lime wedges were old limes. And no chili sauce or utensils. This was delivered. What a fail.

It's good. We went over lunch. The restaurant was full, and they only had two people waiting tables. So the service was a little slower than anticipated. The food was great. I had the Orchid Chicken with Thai rolls. Both excellent! I would like to try the dinner menu sometime soon to see what the differences are. I will be back.

Had a reservation at 6:30 on a Thursday for my bday dinner ordered food around 6:40, and food arrived after 7:30. I don't care to wait but she could have at least apologized or said anything at all. Also I love drunken noodles but all the chicken and pork were sooooo awfully dry. The seafood was good though. Idk I'm really disappointed and sad because I love Thai food!
