Blue Parrot Ocean Front Cafe

Food was not very good. Wasn’t blow away by anything. Grouper imperial had no flavor but I heard grouper old school is better. Cheese grits were also bland and had no flavor. Edamame, calamari, and oysters were just ok. Crab claws were actually pretty good. The frozen coconut mojito though was so delicious, most of the drinks were delicious! Great outdoor bar area to grab a drink while on the beach. Service was good. We met part- owner George and he was so nice and kind.

Best crab cakes I have ever had. We are here twice during our stay because we could not get enough of the crab cakes. The staff were friendly and it was a great atmosphere. We had our little dog so we are on the patio. The weather was beautiful and the patio was pleasant.

Went here for 4th of July, it’s always packed but it’s definitely worth the wait for the view and atmosphere and the FOOD, so good! It’s a must go on St George, we went twice during our 3 day vacation, it was GREAT!

A must visit on SGI! My 4.5 y/o daughter and I walked up to it from the beach, and she said, "A party!" It's the perfect beach front restaurant. The food (mahi mahi tacos and kid's meal grilled cheese) was excellent. Our server Cooper was such a sweetheart! We really enjoyed her. We waited about 30 mins and our table was RIGHT near the beach so it was perfect. Highly recommend. It's an experience.

We love coming to Blue Parrot. The food here never disappoints. We just had some amazing Grouper Fish Tacos and Mahi Mahi Reuben. Mrs. Vickey was fabulous as usual with a Great Big smile and her fantastic service. We will be back again.

I ordered Blackened Mahi Mahi tacos with onion rings. I wasn't familiar with the Thai Chili sauce, so waitress brought me that and ranch. With the Thai Chili sauce, these were the best fish tacos I've ever had! They were delicious. My friend ordered peel & eat shrimp with fries. She didn't think the shrimp was cooked correct, but I don't eat shrimp, so I can't say that from my experience. We got to sit outside, next to the beach, that was a wonderful view.

After a day on the beach at St. George Island, there's no place better to cool down and refuel than the Blue Parrot! Sitting on the deck by the sand is hot but breezy, but a cool drink from their bar is so refreshing. I had the shrimp tacos with a lemon aioli sauce, and that was delicious. My husband loved his shrimp po'boy, and my two kids both loved the shrimp kids meal. Always a fun treat after a beach trip!

This place is by far the best place on this island! Great atmosphere with the decor and vibe. Our server was fun and friendly. The food was delicious!!! I ordered the seafood platter, which was supposed to be for 2, but finished the whole thing myself. Choose blackened, you will thank me later. The burger was huge! The food tasted fresh and full of flavors! We were disappointed with the onion rings because the batter was not that good. However, everything else was delicious! Overall, this place is definitely worth checking out. We would come here again.
