Blue Parrot Ocean Front Cafe

Welcome to Parrotdise. Blue Parrot, St. George Island FL, home of the "SAND BLASTER". Good raw and broiled oysters, fried shrimp; excellent hushpuppies. Fun waterfront place, probably the "nicest" place we will eat at this week in the Apalachicola/Port St. Joe area, as we will hit more oyster and divey places. Food was solid though and very strong drinks.

Such a lovely place. We stopped by for lunch before our check in time. I ordered the fried oyster basket, my bf ordered the popcorn shrimp basket. The service was quick! I think we waited barely 10 for our food. The portions were hefty. For a deep fry, the shrimp and oysters were cooked perfectly, juicy and tender, not chewy! And the seasonings were on point.. My favorite part, Hazel was able to join us and they provided a water boil. 😀 here she is living her best life.

This place is by far the best place on this island! Great atmosphere with the decor and vibe. Our server was fun and friendly. The food was delicious!!! I ordered the seafood platter, which was supposed to be for 2, but finished the whole thing myself. Choose blackened, you will thank me later. The burger was huge! The food tasted fresh and full of flavors! We were disappointed with the onion rings because the batter was not that good. However, everything else was delicious! Overall, this place is definitely worth checking out. We would come here again.

Beautiful location, and great food! Had the Blackened Tuna BLT. Holy cow!! Loved it! It’s my new favorite. Also had fries, crinkle cut and hot. Overall a wonderful meal! Service was also excellent and on time. Can’t wait for the next trip down this way.

My wife and I ate at the Blue Parrot while visiting our best friends. There is limited parking outside of the restaurant, but there is ample parking across the street. This oceanfront cafe serves mostly seafood, with a few steak, chicken and salad options. The food was delicious and the wait staff was very attentive to our every request. There is seating inside and there are a number of tables outside on the shore. This restaurant is a must see on St. George Island.

First visit to the island and it was beautiful. Blue Parrot staff were very friendly, restaurant and tiki bar are right on the beach. We will definitely be back

Sometimes, you find a gem of a place that you wish you could keep all to yourself. That's Blue Parrot. Right on the beach, taking in the sunset, and eating delicious food...what more can I ask for? Service was super friendly and fast. The food was soooo good! I'm not an oyster fan, but i ate some and enjoyed them. Definitely will be back once I'm back in the area!

I love this place! I love everything about it! The monster burger and fries, the oysters, the drinks, the staff and of course the location! It's the beach experience personified! Took my wife and friends here they all loved it too. Great place to eat and enjoy the beach!
