Boston’s Best Soups | Eater Boston

"We’re not always fans of New York restaurants opening in Boston, but we’ll make an exception for Blue Ribbon, a late-night industry favorite with a classic bistro menu If a craving for rich, hearty French onion soup hits, head under the shadow of the Citgo sign for a beautiful bowl of cheese, bread, and beef broth." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

After a Red Sox game, I walked into Blue Ribbon Brasserie in Kenmore Square expecting to wait—but I was seated right away. This was my second visit, and once again it was outstanding from start to finish. The evening’s standout wasn’t just the food—it was the thoughtful, attentive service from my server, Porcheddu. He made me feel welcome as a solo diner and paced the meal perfectly. Calm, professional, and warm—exactly the kind of service that elevates a great meal to a memorable one. ⸻ 🪑 Atmosphere The room is a beautiful blend of brasserie polish and Boston ease—with soft lighting, patterned wallpaper, sleek banquettes, and pendant lights that glow just right. Even on a game night, it never felt rushed or loud. You can actually have a conversation or savor a meal here. Whether you’re seated in a booth or at a two-top, the space feels elegant yet unstuffy. ⸻ 🍽️ What I ordered: 🦆 Foie Gras Terrine – $38 Smooth, buttery, and plated with elegance. The heirloom tomatoes and crushed nuts brought brightness and crunch. Served with warm toast points, this was a generous and luxurious start. 🦆 Duck Breast – $42 Tender and rosy with crisped skin, served in a savory jus. Accompanied by sweet potato mash, roasted vegetables, and crispy leeks—it hit all the right notes. Rich, comforting, and beautifully balanced. 🥒 Cucumber Mocktail – $9 A refreshing, slightly vegetal drink that paired wonderfully with the foie. Crisp and light with a beautiful presentation. 🍨 Two Scoops of Ice Cream – $10 One scoop of strawberry sorbet and one creamy berry. Served in a classic glass sundae dish—simple and satisfying, not overly sweet. 🥖 House Bread Warm and crusty, served in an All-Clad pan with soft butter. A small but lovely detail that made the meal feel complete. I hope to come back.

We dined at Blue Ribbon Brasserie last night, Saturday, with a party of 6. All of us chose to order from the Dine Out Boston menu. The location is right on Commonwealth Avenue, which is convenient, though parking was a bit difficult to find. We eventually managed to park at meters nearby. Unfortunately, there seemed to be some miscommunication with the timing of our meals. Four members of our group received their food about 20 minutes before the rest of us. When the remaining two dishes arrived, one was incorrect and had to be sent back (received salmon, not steak as ordered). The restaurant had run out of the steak featured on the Dine Out menu, so it was replaced with a flat iron steak, which was acceptable to the diner. However, this caused further delays, and by the time the dishes were sorted, the rest of us had finished our meals and were already ready for dessert. This led to an awkward situation where some of us had finished eating while others were still waiting and had to eat alone while everyone watched. Additionally, there were some other small issues that added up. The table wasn’t pre-bussed in a timely fashion, and we had to ask for steak knives, which seemed like basic details that were overlooked. It was also difficult to get clarity on who was handling our service, as it seemed like many different people were involved in serving our table, which added to the confusion and inconsistency. Given that the restaurant is owned by James Beard-recognized chefs, this level of service was surprising and disappointing. On a positive note, all members of our party seemed to enjoy their drinks, which were a nice touch to the meal. While the service was less than ideal, the food was enjoyable. The steaks were cooked to requested temperature, the fries were crispy, and the salmon was juicy. Desserts were not overly sweet and portioned to a satisfying amount. To their credit, the restaurant did comp one of the meals off the bill without us asking, which was a nice gesture. Overall, I hope the service improves, as the food was worth returning for. However, we won’t be any time soon as there are many other restaurants discover beforehand.

Google
Blue Ribbon Brasserie delivered an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The restaurant’s classy, spacious, and modern vibe made for an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere. The staff were outstanding—super friendly and genuinely attentive throughout the evening. Every dish we ordered was a gourmet delight, from the appetizers to the decadent desserts, all perfectly paired with a thoughtfully curated wine list. Located just steps from Fenway Park, it was the ideal spot to celebrate a Red Sox victory. A perfect blend of upscale dining and warm hospitality—highly recommend!

I spent the last 2 evenings at the Blue Ribbon bar. I went back a second night because the staff were so kind, the food was excellent quality & portions and a spot on dirty martini. During a difficult time for me it was uplifting to have such considerate waitstaff & bartenders and a satisfying meal. I had the endive salad & swordfish.

I attended this great restaurant on a busy Valentine’s Day Friday night with my parents and girlfriend. We walked in and they immediately accommodated us with a great window side table. This was so important to me because even on the busiest day, they can find a way to make everyone feel seen. Everywhere I go, I really pride myself on comparing my meals to other dining options I’ve had in Boston. I can definitely say that this is one of the best meals I have had since moving to Boston. I ordered the Steak Frites (Which were delicious) and my girlfriend and parents followed with the same order (Which were equally as mouth watering) We also ordered the Calamari, Brussel Sprouts, and Hummus and loved it as well. The night before, my girlfriend and I attended another restaurant where the service was overlooking us due to our age and treating us as less deserving diners. When we attended Blue Ribbon, they treated us just as important as my parents. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone due to the great service, affordable prices, and GREAT FOOD! -Zac

One of the best drinks I’ve ever had. Bar manager Peyton made drinks for us and they blew our minds. He had some downtime because we came just after the pre-Sox game crowd left. We had a “banana flip” and an awesome rum drink named hmmm I don’t remember 😂😂😂. Vau!!!

Google
Exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and efficient without being intrusive. Isabella, our server, was fantastic and added to the overall great experience. She was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations, enhancing our dining experience. As for the food, it was nothing short of phenomenal. The paella was perfectly cooked, rich with flavor and generously portioned, while the duck was tender and beautifully seasoned. It's clear that a lot of care goes into both the food and the overall dining experience here.

The best Oysters Rockefeller I’ve ever had! We tried their Beef Marrow and the Oxtail Marmalade is superb. Our Steak Frites was perfectly cooked. The drinks and service were amazing too.

Yelp
Delicious lunch options at a recent visit to Blue Ribbon in Kenmore Square. Quiet lunch on a Friday afternoon in January. The endive salad is absolutely delicious and worth a try. Bread pudding was a bit sweet for me but overall another good option to share it with the table.

Yelp
I'd do 3.5 stars if I could. Not quite as French as I'd hoped and part of a Blue Ribbon row of restaurants where the best is apparently Blue Ribbon Sushi down the street. For a place near Fenway for a pre or post game meal, I'd say it's quite good food. For a French brasserie it's decent. I ended up eating pate and fried chicken and both were quite good (but I don't go to brasseries for fried chicken). My friends had the onion soup which was no more than decent.

Yelp
The food is outstanding and ALMOST worth the very expensive cost. Highly recommend the pierogi app and amazing steak frites. The ceaser salad was extremely basic as well as the clam chowder - you can do so much better than this. Take it off the menu if you don't want to do it right. Your standard is high. You set that bar for yourself. It is a gem of a restaurant right outside of Fenway and almost out of place there. But if you are looking for elevated cocktails and steaks this is the place to go

Yelp
Extremely disappointed! Old leftovers. We had a 4pm reservation before a 7:10pm game. Ordered the lobster roll with sweet potato chips, which were oily & chewy. So I asked for another batch and was told they ran out. So basically I had gotten the ones that had been sitting there for a while and hence the chewy, greasy texture. Substituted waffle fries, where were also no crust and seemed like leftovers. The lobster roll also hardly had any lobster and at that price, I could have gotten a much better one at the ballpark (which is what I did as I was still hungry after eating here) Service was okay, but no smiles or personality despite the fact we were there early and celebrating a birthday. Ambiance was good, as we were in the atrium area. We cancelled our next day reservation here, despite it being close to our hotel because of the underwhelming food we had.

Yelp
The food here is awesome! Their service is swift and friendly and the restaurant is very chic and modern too. The server told me to get the fried chicken as my main. Sounds like they always say that. But that's because it's that good. Get the friend chicken. I know other stuff looks better, BUT GET THE FRIED CHICKEN!!!! Bone marrow marmalade: lots of savory melts bone more with ox tail marmalade. Very rich and very delicious 5/5. The toast that came with it was a bit soggy when it arrived, but is was insanely busy so I'll let it slide. 5/5 Friend chicken. Top 5 fried chicken in my life. The skin is so crunchy, the portions are huge, and the chicken is sooooo juicy. It comes with some house hot sauce and honey hot, which only adds to the already well seasoned chicken. GET THE FRIED CHICKEN 10/5 Chocholate bruno decadent rich and delicious 5/5 This place is amazing I recommend everyone to come here and GET THE FRIED CHICKEN. It is pretty pricey here, but you get huge portions! 5/5 . This place also stay open until 1 AM so when you get the Fried Chicken it will soak all the booze up!

Yelp
On the day's adventures, I came across this spot on my walk and decided to pop in for brunch. A huge space that has been open for just a year, I suspect it is quite a scene on Friday night! I enjoyed a glass of Spanish bubbly with my delightful veggie frittata. And, although the bartender did not share my level of warm banter (lol), he was attentive. I bet this would be a great spot for girls night out and I want to come back for the escargot!

Yelp
Conveniently located across Kenmore Station, Blue Ribbon offers a variety of great dishes. LOCATION: Parking is tricky because it's right in the middle of Kenmore and Fenway so I recommend taking the train. SPACE: Very spacious and they were able to accommodate a large group of us. Note that the restrooms are located inside the hotel. FOOD: I opted for the dine out menu and chose clam chowder, steak frites, and chocolate cake. Everything was absolutely delicious - my fellow diners also enjoyed their meal. A few of us ordered off the dine out menu and (duck and paella) and they both enjoyed it very much! SERVICE: They were quick, attentive and very patient with us, especially since we were a larger group.

Yelp
I'm giving this place a 2.5/3 star review based on our experience here the weekend after valentines day. We were excited to try out the seafood (catfish and lobster) and lamb but were told that basically most of the seafood options were unavailable including the lamb due to not stocking/over consumption from valentines day. The dishes themselves (we got the fresh clams and duck breast) were just pretty average. You're essentially paying for the atmosphere but I have eaten at places with similar atmospheres and cheaper prices with better quality in dishes, so it was a little disappointing. I'm sure the dishes that were not offered or tried are good but not from what we experienced. The waitress was very nice and friendly and the place itself was very spacious. Maybe next time we will have a better experience!

Yelp
You can never go wrong with the fried chicken. It's a favorite go-to of mine and I tried the onion soup and the duck club this time. The onion soup was rich and flavorful, probably my favorite onion soup I've had in a long time. The duck club was interesting and I like it. The raisin challah was the most perplexing part of the club sandwich. My only guess is the reason why this raisin bread worked is usually if one eats duck there is a sauce of some sort, orange, cherry, or currant and my thoughts are the raisins are the substitute for those sauces to add some sweetness??? The part of the dish that went wrong is the sweet potato chips. I believe the chips weren't fried enough so it tasted stale like and limp. Otherwise the duck club is good.

Yelp
I grabbed dinner here on their opening weekend night. The Brasserie is from the same owners of Pescador and Blue Ribbon Sushi (all next to each other) right at Kenmore station. Given it was opening night, the service and chefs were also open to feedback so we had a great time chatting with the manager Victor and our server Courtney. They took really good care of us and if you are being hosted by them, you're in great hands! They have a very large covered and heated patio with impeccable vibes. It's a fancy-ish place so a great excuse to put on the nicer evening clothes. We started off with the Scallop Ceviche which was on the daily special and the Escargot. Both dishes were amazing. The ceviche was melting in your mouth and the butter and garlic with the escargot was perfectly balanced with the texture. For our mains, I got the catfish and my friend got the steak frites. I will say I liked our starters better than the main, but the main did not disappoint. We ended the night with dessert cocktails. They do have a diverse menu for both food, drinks and dessert. I will definitely be back to try some of their other menu items. Excellent service. Delicious food. 10/10 would be back!

Yelp
We came here for a special occasion and had the back room, which was perfect for our party of 12. Service was excellent. Food was very good as well. Ordered tons of appetizers for the table such as the ribs, calamari, and Brussels sprouts. I think they were all okay. On the server's recommendation, I had the fried chicken which comes with collard greens and mashed potatoes with gravy and a cup of honey. So good! You get half a chicken battered and fried just right to be juicy and crunchy. The chicken skin really makes it. The duck sandwich was huge and the duck breast looked good too. We ordered a bunch of dessert to share including the chocolate bruno - a flourless chocolate cake that comes with 3 small scoops of ice cream. Great place a fancy dinner out or a special occasion.

Yelp
Came here with my coworkers for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. The service was lovely and attentive, our waters were always filled and our server was quick to ask if we needed more drinks. I ordered the duck club which was delicious and flavorful! I especially liked the sweet potato chips which still gave that crunch factor but felt a bit healthier. The portion was pretty generous so I ended up only finishing half of my sandwich and had the other half to enjoy later :) We ordered calamari and brussel sprouts for the table--the brussel sprouts were the star, the perfect level of roasted and I loved the sauce and pomegranate seeds that came with it. We were seated in the area near the front of the restaurant which has huge glass windows. This was very fun for people watching! Overall the restaurant was very quiet and a beautiful space for lunch. Would recommend coming here! I will say the food is a bit pricy but I think it is worth what you get.

Yelp
This is our first time but we really enjoy our food. I had Shrimp Provencal and my husband had Salmon. Both were excellent! They are delicious. The service was excellent as well. We were late for our reservation but no problem at all. We were quickly seated and enjoyed our first time dinner in this wonderful restaurant. we will be back!

Jonica P.

Yelp
Overpriced for corporate food. Average. Drinks were watered down. Will not go back Bread pudding was actually burned french toast. Should be called a cafeteria not a brasserie..
google avatar

Peter W.

Yelp
We came to meet up with a group of friends and try out the new place on a cold Saturday night. The space is comfortable and has the brasserie vibe as the namesake. The place was full so make reservations. The seafood plateau was impressive in look and taste. The escargot was buttery and tender. The foies gras was rich The country was only ok. The steak frite was tasty with a good chew. The duck was juicy and flavorful. Desserts were decent. Service was ok, a bit a spotty, but the place is still ramping up from the opening a month ago. Drinks were good, but the cocktails could have been served colder. We'll be back!

Yelp
Nice but needs tweaking. Came here to celebrate my daughter's graduation. Got comfortabley seated in a booth for four. Ambience is new but very hotel contemporary. Food was good . The fried Chicken was good, steak frites was not 9 oz but looked like 6 oz. French onions soup was fine but when it came to the roast chicken that my friend ordered, it came out undercooked. We notified our server and they took it back and cooked it thoroughly. Chicken was brought it back, and at least the manager came and apologized for it and comped us for the mistake and gave us a cheesecake for free. Their crème brûlée is delicious too. I will say that the service was very nice and they are professional bunch, but I think they need to really take care of the food to make it top-notch after spending all this money on renovating this place when i space formally Eastern standard.. my other issue was that my teapot kept leaking and spilling all over the table and that's not good so at least it was replaced at the end. Considering the whole renovation and some of the mishaps, I do feel I could give this place a second chance the prices are high therefore I do think they have to match the prices. I will say the apps were good the steak, tartar, brussels sprouts, and we ordered the bone marrow as an app too, which was delicious.

Yelp
Food was okay. Good wine list. Hosts not good at all. We showed up after 8pm. There were empty tables but we were told we need to wait for an hour. Went on to Open Table and saw TONS of open tables (pun intended). Showed availabilities to the hosts. Became defensive. Gave us tables at the end of the day. It really shouldn't have been that difficult.
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place!! There's street meter parking or public transportation that stop right in front! This place is well decorated and clean. The service was great and very accommodating. The price is on a high end but well worth it!! Good tastes like authentic French and the drinks were also very good. I am already thinking of coming back!!
google avatar

Yelp
We came here on a Friday night with a reservation, but it seemed like you could also easily grab a table without one. Once seated, our server was timely and quick with our orders, and we could tell it was getting very busy quickly past 8PM. We both tried a three course meal starting with clam chowder and beef tartare, then steak frites and fried chicken for the main meal, and creme brulee as dessert. First of all, the portions were bigger than I expected; we took home half our meal and it made for a great lunch the next day! The clam chowder was delicious and had a strong seafood taste, which I loved. My fried chicken was super crunchy and the mashed potatoes/gravy it came with was the perfect pairing. Our creme brulee was also a great dessert to end on, creamy and very very sweet! By dessert time however, I was already stuffed so I only managed to eat half of it. Next time, I'd absolutely try something new on their menu and probably order less food!
google avatar

Tim M.

Yelp
This is a really cool spot in the Kenmore area near Fenway Park. Very large bar with yummy and fun cocktails. Great service and delicious food as well. Can't go wrong with the clam chowder. It is creamy and smooth, with great bacon flavor. The fried chicken is unreal as well. Very crispy and seasoned to perfection. Definitely will come back here soon.

Yelp
Went here before the red-socks yankees game with my family we had a couple appetizers and they were amazing. The place is a little fancy so I would dress up a bit if you're going here. The server was fantastic and was very polite. The food tastes exactly as it looks AMAZING!
google avatar

Gretchen B.

Yelp
I'm glad to have tried this place out. There is a wide variety of items on the menu...not all French. I ended up getting the fried chicken, collards, and mashed potatoes as the bartender mentioned it was a dish they were known for. It was good. I had a mocktail they made up on the spot which was interesting and tasty. Service was good. If you're in the Kenmore Sq. area, it's a nice restaurant to check out.

Yelp
This food was good but, I think you are paying for the ambiance. Our service was also slow. I was expecting more from all the great reviews/recommendations. Just a bit overrated.

George A.

Yelp
Ended up with a very expensive burger. $33 w/tip. Fries were coated with orange salt - probably from frozen. Wanted duck club but it is a slice of formed, processed duck. Passed. Not really a french Brasserie to me.

Alder P.

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at blue ribbon. The appetizers were excellent. We started the bone marrow, escargot, and shrimp cocktail. They were flavorful and the shrimp was good quality. They gave us a side of bread to eat with the escargot sauce, it was so good! For entrees we had the mushroom, New York strip, and paella. The paella was filled with seafood, super flavorful. The steak was cooked to perfection. We asked for a side of truffle butter. I all enjoyed the mushrooms, they were great consistency. For dessert we ordered the crème brûlée and ice cream sundae. The crème brûlée could have used some berries as topping but not bad overall. Ice cream Sundae was solid. Drinks were ok. I am more of a martini person, but the dirty martini and French martini could use some work. The highlight was the spicy margarita which is made with their house hot sauce and Tabasco. Service was great. Timely and friendly. Ambience was nice! I liked the lighting in the restaurant as well as the music. I appreciated that the hostess were not sitting people on top of each other.

Jonathan E.

Yelp
Came here for dinner last night. Former Eastern Standard space appealing and I had high hopes. Alas, food was mediocre. We split Brussels sprouts (lukewarm, undercooked, over sauced), buffalo cauliflower (smothered in sauce, pasty breading), and calimari (not bad). Food I wouldn't be surprised to get at a TGI Fridays at 1/2 the price. Save your money - not fine dining.

Beth K.

Yelp
I came for lunch. Service was pleasant and attentive. I chose the duck club, which was too breast for my taste. I should have remembered that a club was 3 pieces of bread. However even removing a piece of bread the duck was overwhelmed by the bread. As a side the sandwich was presented with an over the top amount of Cheeto colored sweet chips., which lacked much taste at all. My Bloody Mary was a spice level above, leaving me happy to not have asked for it to be spicy. My bill was presented without being offered or asked if I wanted coffee or to look at the dessert menu.
google avatar

Ruth D.

Yelp
Burger was v good. Small but tasty draft beer selection. Music was a bit loud. Then again it was Saturday night 9:30p and still Patrick's Day eve. Bartender was attentive. Draft beer is served in a 12oz. glass. A bit pricey for less than a pint serving.
google avatar

Christine L.

Yelp
Just had dinner there, was very looking forward to it cuz it's a family Xmas dinner, but we were disappointed. First of all, the menu wasn't interesting or exciting, it's kinda like same old same old stuff from anywhere else lol we ordered the shrimp appetizer, it was good, oysters was okay, $4 each we could get better ones though, paella was the best of what we ordered, the fried chicken he recommended was a I heard the other server recommended it to the table behind us too, and that's why we ordered, and it turned out was a big disappointment, lamb chop was okay. We also ordered the clam chowder, but our waiter forgot about it, it's okay, and he wasn't attentive, no smile whatsoever. So over all, food was 2 star, service was 2 star. So we didn't enjoy our dinner tonight, and right now we are literally having another dinner somewhere else lol
google avatar

Trish K.

Yelp
Really liked the food here the service was excellent. We were staying at the hotel next-door so it was very convenient.

Yelp
Very happy with our meal tonight. Nice vibe, good service, pretty platings and tasty food. Get the Manila clams stew, duck pasta and ice cream sundae.

Tiffany L.

Yelp
Highly recommended!! We ordered the escargot, steak tartare, oysters, calamari, cowboy steak and lamb chops. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. We also got the bacon fries and sweet potato mash for sides which were sooo buttery and delicious. My favorite dish had to be the escargot. It was a first time try for me and I really enjoyed it. The service was good and we got the chocolate Bruno for dessert which is a must if you're a chocolate lover.

Starla W.

Yelp
My husband and I went to this restaurant within the first 1.5 weeks of opening and were very impressed. The cocktail program was spot on and inventive. We had the duck and steak frites and both were cooked to the perfect temperature. We were concerned that the service would not be good because they had just opened. We were pleasantly surprised at the prompt and friendly service we received. We are looking forward to our next visit! P.S.- This is my 1st review to write.

Ken M.

Yelp
Wow! What a wonderful experience we just had. Brunch options were plentiful and the food, drink, and hospitality were exceptional. You won't be disappointed!

Michael F.

Yelp
Worst restaurant experience in years. I am not sure the server knew he had our table. So sloooooow with empty drinks. The parry next to us had a whole dinner, with dessert, just during our entree. Food was oddly seasoned. A bust.

Rita L.

Yelp
I believe this restaurant is relatively new so I was a little worried they might not be up to par just yet. I was pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent and the food was really good. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. We had a large party - all of our food came out together and everyone enjoyed their meal. I'll definitely come back.

Joan W.

Yelp
Enjoyed bar and hummus and perogies snacks in the evening but brunch the next day was very disappointing. Two diners' frittatas were served room temperature, the over easy eggs were two brown and crispy, while the bacon wasn't. The eggs were served with cold dry toast and had to ask for butter. Certainly no jam. Mediocre at best.

Michael R.

Yelp
We went for the first time last night for our 20th anniversary. A wonderful experience from beginning to end created by top-notch pros dedicated to creating a memorable experience! Host was warm and friendly. Had tasty cocktails from a skilled mixologist at the bar before dinner, where the service was amazing and food delicious (paella is recommended). Management, knowing that it was a special event poured a couple of glasses of bubbly to toast. Unbeknownst to us, earlier in the day, a family member phoned (they knew we were going to dine there) to buy a gift card for us, which the manager hand delivered and offered her congratulations on the occasion. We chose not to use the card because, of course, we'll be back. Highly recommended!

Sara C.

Yelp
After attending a Red Sox Game, my family and I ate at the Blue Ribbon Brasserie. We booked a reservation for 7:30 pm, and they were happy to sit us when we arrived 15 minutes early. I have dined here before and have had no problems with their food. However, prices are a little too high than I would like them to be. We had oysters for an appetizer, which were very fresh! My parents ordered a variety of beers and champagnes that satisfied them. For main courses, I had the lamb chops, which I asked to be cooked medium. They cooked it to perfection! My parents ordered a whole white fish and a duck dish. They both enjoyed their food! My boyfriend tried their fried chicken dish, which was a huge portion for everyone to share! I would definitely recommend ordering this dish if you are with a group of people. Lastly, we had chocolate chip bread pudding, which was decent, but tasted like pound cake you would get from the grocery store. Overall, I had a nice experience dining here, but the food quality could always be improved upon. Hence, I would give a 4/5 star rating.

Manuel R.

Yelp
Although there are sometimes a few cheap tables on the sidewalk, it's better to take out and enjoy very good ribs at home.

Ashley A.

Yelp
Smaller but wide range menu with options for everyone without sacrificing quality of each dish. Highlights included steamed clams appetizer presented in a white wine sauce to satisfy even your pickiest non seafood eater, and shrimp provencal in a similarly delectable sauce. Members of my table also enjoyed the fried chicken and steak frites.

Anna A.

Yelp
Best French onion soup I've ever had. Nice ambience, will definitely go back. I need to write more but have nothing else to say.

Magivey G.

Yelp
Stopped in on a weekend night. Just opened so not too busy. Grabbed a seat at the bar. Enjoyed the endive salad and fried calamari. Bartender needs a little work on his martinis but hopefully he'll get there soon.

David C.

Yelp
We had a wonderful meal at Blue Ribbon Brasserie. The atmosphere was great -- almost a New York vibe in Boston. The food was delicious. We enjoyed the oysters, pierogies, beef tartare, French onion soup, steak frites, and ice cream sundae. The drinks were great, as well. We had top notch service from our server, Adrian. We look forward to returning!
