Wow! What a big difference new ownership makes. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they boast some of the best quality and variety in the market. There are some great personalities that work there, but if they are busy, be patient, it is worth the wait. What most people don’t realize is that the sales staff and workers have about 3-4 hours to do 8 hours worth of work. 10/10, don’t believe the negative reviews—some people are too sensitive for this fast paced, business forward environment.

I am really impressed with the professionalism of the salespeople, the quality of the merchandise, and the operational excellence of Blue Ribbon.

Horrible quality! We bought 2 boxes of Sea Urchin from here and they taste bitter and terrible. I will NEVER come back to this place again!

Dangerous driver using the company truck, nearly hit a pedestrian in Hell's Kitchen and honking aggressively the second the light changes. 8:45AM 5/21/25

I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM A ZERO. I called at 3AM because I was told that they open at 2AM, the man answered and I said Good Morning. His response was "are we stopping at good morning? I responded back and said " well I thought you would be polite enough to say good morning back. He responded and said "NO this is the fish market, I spent more time on this phone call already then I would like. He was disgustingly rude. I said thank you and hung up. I wish I would ever give that place my money. The nerve to think it's ok to treat your customers like that. I guess they get away with speaking to their customers like that because he was too comfortable with saying that. No respect for their customers!!!

Dont send back dead product , dean is quick to cut ties . The last couple of months we had alot of quality issues from watery fish to broken mussles , warm oysters .and last second price changes . Plus they guy is to busy to take your call only time he calls you is to tell you to gtfo. Great way of treating loyal customers .

They are cheating customers. Don't buy anything from there. They put big fishes at the top of box, and all others are small fishes and charge it as all big fishes. I complained but they never listen to customers. In case if you have to buy there, you must take a look at the whole inside of boxes into bottom, they will put small size at the bottom and charge it as all big size.

Their idiotic driver hit my car and ran. Tracked down their license plate and had to find them that way. Bunch of fools working here
