Blue Ridge Inn Bed and Breakfast

We loved our stay. The Appalachian Room was large with its own separate entrance, king bed and a great soaking tub and walk in shower. The morning staff were quite friendly and accommodating to my wife’s dietary needs. We also got great local info from the owner, Jim. The location is super convenient if you want to spend time in the heart of downtown Blue Ridge. A pleasant surprise was getting to know Blue, the inn’s cat. We enjoyed meeting fellow guests every morning over breakfast. Great place

Our stay at the Blue Ridge Inn Bed & Breakfast was absolutely exceptional! Cheri, the manager, went above and beyond to coordinate our large group’s two-day stay from day one of planning this trip. From the moment we arrived, greeted by the owner John, he made us feel completely at home and check-in was very quick. Cheri thoughtfully accommodated our groups dietary needs and ensuring everything was perfect from the breakfast, to the room, to the meeting space we needed. Angie and Dani were equally wonderful with making and serving breakfast, they were warm, attentive, and ready to assist with any needs we had. The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully prepared, a true highlight of our mornings. We enjoyed the unlimited tea and coffee as well. The Inn itself is charming, with a welcoming sitting room and inviting porches that are perfect for relaxing. The beds were incredibly comfortable and quiet, making for restful nights after our busy days. On our last day, Angie, Dani, and Joey greeted us with the same gracious hospitality that defines this place. It’s clear that the whole team here is something truly special. We enjoyed being walking distance to the downtown area with plenty of shops and restaurants for dining.

This place is like grandma’s! My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here and we have never stayed at a B&B before. This is our first time! We will definitely come back with our entire family. Thank you so much for making it like home and for the incredible food, hospitality and service. Cherì and staff are amazing! I highly recommend Blue Ridge Inn. All around 5 stars for everything! It is a small town feel with all the comforts of home and family. I’m grateful.

My husband and I wanted a relaxing get away where we would be pampered, and that’s just what we received at the Blue Ridge Inn. Our room was so charming and clean. The beds and pillows were so comfortable just like home. Even though there were about 8 people staying there with us, we never heard any guests during our stay. My husband and I had breakfast each morning in the dining room, and there was so much care and effort added to the delicious food and also it was placed on beautiful vintage dishes.. There was so much thought and work put into every detail during breakfast. The Inn itself was just full of beauty and history. We will definitely be back. There is a wonderful restaurant right behind the inn, called Southern Comfort. We walked there and it was probably a 3 to 5 minute walk. The food was so good! Parking at the inn was very easy. The other shops and restaurants are walking distance also, but we chose the closest one. Thank you staff at the Blue Ridge Inn Bed and Breakfast, we had a wonderful time.

Our stay at this charming bed and breakfast in downtown Blue Ridge was nothing short of perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Joey and John like family. The location couldn’t have been better — right in the middle of the quaint downtown square, surrounded by boutique shops, cozy cafés, and the peaceful mountain backdrop. The rooms were beautifully decorated with a warm, southern elegance that felt both luxurious and homey. Every detail was clearly thought out, from the soft linens to the dining room and gathering areas. Breakfast was absolutely delicious — homemade, hearty, and served with genuine Southern hospitality. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with small-town charm and five-star comfort, this is the place.

We absolutely love The Blue Ridge Inn. We’ve stayed there on numerous trips to Blue Ridge, and every stay has been amazing! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. We feel like we’re visiting family. We’ve stood in the kitchen and had great conversations. They always have nice local recommendations, too. We have also become attached to the Inn’s cat, Blue. We look forward to seeing her each time we visit. You definitely won’t be disappointed with the daily breakfast at the inn. It is consistently wonderful, has several courses, and always served with a smile! We’ve stayed in The Appalachian, The Rose, and The Sycamore. The rooms are always very clean and comfortable. Each room has its own television and bathroom. There is complementary hot tea, coffee, and fruit available anytime. We even got to enjoy a beautiful snow on our most recent stay. The staff at The Blue Ridge Inn always go above and beyond to make our stay the absolute best. We will always return! In fact, we’re headed back next month!

We had a fabulous time at the Blue Ridge B&B. It is conveniently located in the heart of Blue Ridge - staff were so friendly, breakfast was great, room was cozy! Worth the price! i would suggest going as a couple or small group without young kids. Parking is tight if you have a large car. We were fine since it was empty when we arrived but something to keep in mind.

5 Stars! What a great place! Joey greeted us with a warm welcome and gave us a quick tour of this beautiful old house. Our room was super cozy and spacious, and the location couldn’t be better — everything in town is just a short walk away. Breakfast was delicious, and they even made sure to accommodate my gluten-free diet. John, the owner, baked fresh cookies in the evening which was such a nice touch. Everyone was so kind and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend staying here! .

Simply delightful! We've been to blue ridge several times and wish we had found this place sooner! The staff is so welcoming and accommodating, the Inn is full of charm, and the location is perfect to catch the train or walk to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and my allergy was handled with no issue. This is the place you want to stay! We will be back very soon!

My first time staying at a bed and breakfast and won't be my last. Staying at the Blue Ridge Inn Bed and Breakfast was just a dream! We only stayed here for one night but it was every thing we had hoped for. Checking in was easy, though there are limited parking spots behind the inn. Our room was plenty spacious and super clean. The beds were pretty comfortable as well. The house and decorations were just charming all around. Breakfast served was delicious. I can't wait to stay here again when we're back in Blue Ridge!

The treatment we gave you? Other than conversation on Saturday, we did not communicate. You are trying to flip this and blame me? Your reply just shows how uneducated you are regarding service animals. I can't believe you have the audacity to reply!!!! I was referred to the Department of Justice by Georgia's ADA representative. Now I'm reconsidering my decision to NOT involve the DOJ. And my companion, my wife, never spoke a word to any of you because we speak Portuguese. And treatment towards other guests? I sat next to someone at breakfast. I had no other interaction with guests except when I allowed them to pet my Service Animal. You're absolutely making things up. Where is my original review?? If I have to I'll put it everywhere, I promise.

Our stay here was wonderful. Second time we lodge here. Staff was awesome. Will and Dakota at the desk always greet you with a smile. Very helpful and pleasant environment. Rooms and hotel are very clean. They have a rooftop bar that serves food as well. Love that it is right on Main St. with all the shops. Thank you Hampton Inn! The Campbells

We were welcomed by John, the owner. He helped us with our luggage and gave us a nice overview of the B&B. They have done a great job of updating the old, classic home. The location is perfect for anyone interested in touring Blue Ridge Ga. Each of the rooms has a private bath and modern conveniences, especially the furniture with extra outlets for our many electronic devices. Also, the entire staff was very nice and helpful. The wonderful breakfast was included in the price of the room which made the arrangement even better. We will be back next year.

I cannot say enough AMAZING things about the Blue Ridge Inn! We stayed here for our Anniversary. Had the best day/night here. Loved our Toccoa room and everything about the house. Unfortunately, my husband had an early flight and we were not able to be there for breakfast. But they left us super Togo bags. 5 days after leaving there I realized I never unpacked my diamond earrings. I frantically called thinking they were gone. The owner John answered and went to look. He FOUND them! They must have fallen out of my bag and were under a table. I was so relieved and said I'd pay for him to mail them. He offered to drive them to me today as he was coming to Atlanta. We both agreed you never know with the mail. THERE REALLY ARE STILL GOOD PEOPLE YALL! So thankful for you John! We will be back! And will try all the different rooms

Wonderful, well-decorated bed-and-breakfast right in the heart of historic Blue Ridge Georgia. The accommodations were spacious. The Inn is well-located, in walking distance from all the shops and restaurants.

Loved everything about this place and visit. The home is beautiful, location perfect to walk to restaurants and shops. I love the resident outdoor cat, Blue, who is so affectionate. I have celiac and always nervous about eating outside my home. Cheri' called me in advance to identify my food sensitivities and what I could and couldn't eat for breakfast. The breakfast was delicious! We will definitely be back for another R&R trip.

Every single room is designed in such a special way. The whole place is so cozy and special. John and his team do such an amazing job and you can really tell how much love and detail go into every aspect. The breakfasts were delicious and the dining room is gorgeous. Plus, the location is perfect to explore all of Blue Ridge. I love love love this place!

We loved our stay here. The inn was convenient to downtown Blue Ridge, restaurants and the train. We did not need to get in our car to go anywhere. Room was great, food was great and staff was great.

100% recommend. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. We stayed in the Springer room. Ideal location within a 30 second walk to downtown Blue Ridge. John was wonderful and really made you feel at home. Any time we get an inclination to take a weekend trip to get away I guarantee the Blue Ridge Inn will be at the top of our list. What an amazing Bed & Breakfast. Everyone there goes out of their way to make your stay something to remember. The breakfast is amazing. The new coffee/ wine bar is something to talk about! Every part of our stay was relaxing, welcoming and we can't wait to go back

ZERO HUMANITY. I went in because I needed to charge my car, it was almost completely out of charge. (No one's fault but mine) but I approached the blue ridge inn because they are the only charging station within range. I called prior and it said it was for guests only, but I figured it's the south hopefully they could spare some Grace. I was wrong. I bought food and drinks from the blue ridge inn and I offered to pay $100 to charge my car for 10 minutes because i am stranded.) and his answer was no you can rent a room for $300. It costs zero dollars to be a good human.. to help another human being. But instead you chose greed. Karma always comes full circle. Good Day Jon.

I called for general questions and the person (man) who answered said he was drinking on a boat and would not help me. I did not book.

Blue Ridge Inn Bed and Breakfast is now in my top of favorite places to stay! My friend and I loved everything about the Inn. John and the staff go out of their way to make it a visit to remember ! It is such a quaint cozy inn and very well decorated!! The beds are comfortable and the rooms are very clean. The inn has everything you need for your stay. It is definitely a boutique inn! There are so many great restaurants and wonderful shopping all within walking distance . This place is a gem and I can't wait to go back. The breakfast is amazing and such a great way to start your day.

Beautiful and well preserved antique home. Exquisite details, friendly staff, and cozy rooms made our stay extremely enjoyable. Within walking distance of dozens of local shops, restaurants, bars, and the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. Make sure you stop at the coffee shop located in the rear of the Inn, Mountain Mammas for amazing coffee and local pastries. 10/10.

The hotel was very clean and very conveniently located for spending the day on foot for visiting shops, restaurants or the train. The staff was lovely, particularly the young woman who creates a masterful FULL breakfast. You can skip the lunch after this morning treat. All the breakfast favorites are prepared fresh for your plate including eggs, meat, fruit, grits and literally the best muffin (with fruit hidden inside) I have ever had, made fresh that morning from scratch. They are also willing to accommodate leaving your car in their parking and bags in their offices after check out to allow you to enjoy the last shopoing day of your trip or your day train outing without worrying about your car and bags... which is very helpful.

What a wonderful place to stay! John and his staff are so nice and ready to do whatever is necessary to make your stay perfect. The breakfast that is prepared from scratch each morning is delicious. The beautiful house is so cozy, inviting and comfortable. The location is within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants so you can park your car in the lot and walk everywhere. Mountain Mama Coffee Bar is is a wonderful new addition. I will definitely be going back for another stay and I highly recommend it to everyone.

This place if perfect. Incredibly charming, comfortable and convenient. Just steps away from all the major shops and restaurants! The staff is helpful and the breakfast was out of this world.

Jeff and I had a great experience at Blue Ridge Inn Bed and Breakfast in May. John and his staff were great and made us feel at home. Our accommodations were really nice and the breakfast items every morning were fresh and delicious. The inn is right down town and walking distance to great restaurants. We would definitely recommend The Whisky and Water for dinner! We will be back and highly recommend Blue Ridge Inn to anyone interested in visiting Blue Ridge.

We were in town for a car show and the BRB&B location is within a short walk to downtown shops, parks, and restaurants. The accommodations and hospitality are top notch. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was delicious. We are already looking forward to our next visit and would highly recommend the Blue Ridge Bed and Breakfast. We stayed for a girls' weekend and had a lovely time! The Inn was wonderful, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Delicious breakfast and a great location! Definitely recommend!

If you are looking for a place to stay in Blue Ridge Georgia the Blue Ridge Inn Bed & Breakfast is the place to go. The accommodations were excellent and the staff was as attentive and helpful as they could be. Breakfasts were excellent as were the cookies left under glass for guests. We slept like babies in a near silent room. You simply cannot go wrong staying here. We will be going back in the future.

Lovely restored house, with comfortable rooms and gracious hosts. Walking distance to the shops, restaurants, and train depot in downtown Blue Ridge. Our room had a sitting area, made especially cozy by the electric "fireplace." One of our party is vegan and the hosts provided wonderful breakfast options for that person, so appealing that a non-vegan guest asked for the same!

Lovely building and owner right in middle of town. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and the breakfasts were both generous and delicious. Lots of activities in the area. Definitely recommend a visit!

Wonderful quaint but updated place to stay in the heart of Blue Ridge. You can walk to anywhere in the main town area from here which makes it very convenient if you are planning to make a quick trip like we did. Staff was wonderful and accommodating, check in and out process was seamless, and the room was perfect for what we needed. We will definitely be back!

A lovely stay, as always. At least, our third time there. Staff friendly and helpful, as always. Room spotlessly clean and welcoming. Homey feel all around. Special thanks for offering room service for breakfast during COVID. That accommodation is what let us come and feel comfortable. Nice, too, that for those who want, they could eat in the dining room, though distanced. Meeting new people around the table is always such an enjoyable part of staying at your B and B. Breakfast all three days was delicious. The spinach and ham quiche was exquisite! Highly recommended place to stay.

Being my first B&B experience I didn't quite know what to expect - what I got was a great comfortable stay with such remarkable service that I booked my next reservation before checking out! LOVE LOVE LOVE Blue Ridge Inn B&B!! LOCATION: We were attending the Blue Ridge Blues Festival in downtown Blue Ridge and the location of the Blue Ridge Inn Bed & Breakfast proved to be perfectly located. Conveniently located and walk-able to everything in downtown Blue Ridge, (variety of boutiques, amazing restaurants, bars and etc.) the location simply can't be beat. HOUSE: Welcoming and charming both inside and out. The overall decor is reflective of the persona and era of the house. Quite lovely. ROOM: We stayed in the Lighthouse room which is decorated with a nautical theme and a king size bed with an amazingly comfortable mattress. I'm booked in the Marilyn Monroe Suite which is scheduled to be re-themed prior to my next visit -however I know it will be just as fabulous. Did I mention that mattress was dreamily comfortable?!?! :-) STAFF/SERVICE: This is what makes Blue Ridge B&B amazing and the reason I will return! From check-in with Connie, to Mark and Jon who went above and beyond to make us and the rest of the guests feel right at home during the weekend, service was first class! The guys are knowledgeable of Blue Ridge and of course the history of the B&B, and most importantly for me they are very personable which is quite helpful for engaging with them and with other guests. BREAKFAST: As others have noted, breakfast is YUMMY and top notch and oh so filling! Whatever the offering of the day - fruit, muffins, eggs, bacon, hash brown casserole or those light and fluffy biscuits (which I LOVED) there is something for everyone. Thank you Blue Ridge Inn B&B, I obviously enjoyed my stay and first time B&B experience. For others considering a stay here while in Blue Ridge - you will not be disappointed.

What a wonderful Inn. Very conveniently located in downtown Blue Ridge. The owners and staff were extremely welcoming and friendly!! We stayed in the Kincaid suite. Absolutely beautiful. Comfortable bed and we loved the living room with the electric fireplace. We will definitely stay here again.

Locally-owned in a historic Blue Ridge house in downtown. A few steps from Chesters and all the restaurants. I've stayed here myself and use it as the go-to location for my visitors to Blue Ridge. Downtown is the base camp for the surrounding mountains, trails, fishing and outdoor activities. Cabins are great, but to me, staying in downtown is better. I remember the old Blue Ridge, boarded up in the 90's. But it is an amazing little town now. Downtown Blue Ridge has grown up a lot since alcohol by the glass sales were allowed a few years back. Very good restaurants, town shops, a new art gallery/store and even Bigfoot has invaded in the past few years. Staying at the B&B eliminates the dangerous dark late night after dinner - and drinks - drive home. (No Uber, yet.) Plus, there is a grocery store close by to provision or get that item you forgot. I choose to visit the mountains and stay downtown. The Blue Ridge Inn B&B is a great choice. BTW - I peaked into a few other rooms, beautiful. And they have an enormous full kitchen apartment suite attached to the original building around back.

Such a cute and friendly spot! Every morning at 9 AM the ladies cook up a yummy breakfast. You are right next to the downtown shops and the railroad. Each room has its own theme. We stayed in the lighthouse room. Very comfy and clean. We went white water rafting with Rolling Thunder, which was only a 15 minute drive. We will be back!!

You won't find a better B&B. Cecilia was charming, the breakfast was amazing and the place was immaculate. Will absolutely repeat!

very cute bed and breakfast with some great hosts!! Cecilia was extremely welcoming and friendly, and boy was her cooking something else... The breakfasts were delicious and usually included a freshly baked muffin (best part!) along with a complete wholesome plate of food. We had pancakes and eggs one day and biscuits and gravy the next... best sausage gravy i've ever had. The cookies she put out in the evenings were phenomenal. Our room (the lighthouse room) was great for our quite weekend get away up to Georgia. We did lots of hiking in the nearby mountains and explored the food scene around town (Black Sheep is amazing).

My husband and I had never stayed at a B&B before so we were a little nervous. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a warm greeting and tour of the house. Everything looked very clean and our room was ready for our stay. The innkeeper had prepared freshly baked cookies and showed us where we could get more if needed. I have some food allergies and the entire staff was more than accommodating. We stayed in the large suite and could not believe how gigantic it was. Blue Ridge is sometimes a quiet town and the staff provided some great ideas for our entertainment. Four days after our check in, we are happy to report that if we return to Blue Ridge, we will most definitely stay at the Blue Ridge Inn Bed and Breakfast again! Breakfast note: my husband loved all of the food prepared. (I stayed with the basic vegetables and eggs due to allergy).

Just got back from a lovely trip to the Georgia mountains, where we were house hunting for a possible retirement location. We had never been to Blue Ridge, and decided to stay at a B & B. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. My partner and I were treated to fantastic accommodations and a first rate breakfast each of the three days we stayed here. The innkeepers could not have been any kinder. They answered all of our questions about the area, and were perfect hosts, making us feel welcome. We will definitely be returning to this treasure right in downtown Blue Ridge.

This was our first experience with a B&B, so we really do not have anything to benchmark this against, but I will say that we had an overall pleasant time. The innkeepers were very friendly and the breakfast (biscuits & gravy with scrambled eggs, an apple muffin, and fresh fruit) was delightful. The other guests provided great breakfast conversation too, which enhances the experience. The house itself is certainly old. The floor kind of creeks and the decor is reminiscent of my great grandmother's house, but this certainly enhances the feel of the old-style Victorian house. The fireplaces in the rooms were a nice touch. My only complaint is that the temperature in the house was set to 64 degrees, which is pretty darn cold. The fireplace certainly helps with that though. Overall, 5/5 and would definitely stay again.

If there was a choice of 10 stars this quaint little B&B would get that. Were does one begin...impeccably clean, fantastic full country breakfast, tasty afternoon snacks and the BEST Inn-Keepers and staff ever!!!! Can't wait to go back for another great stay!

A spotlessly clean and well run place to stay. An excellent friendly staff which cook wonderful breakfast food every morning. It is located right downtown Blue Ridge so you can walk to shops and restaurants. It is not pet friendly although the staff loves dogs. I would highly recommend this place!
