I like the juices here the breakfast (mainly meat such as bacon) can taste a bit freezer burnt at times which sucks when your paying for your food but the juices are good I wish they had more green leafy drink options since I want it for the nutritional properties. The Asian male there makes better drinks and smoothies than the females that work there they often serve drinks full of froth and not enough greens or real produce which sucks cause these drinks aren't cheap...

I love this place. I have tried the fresh juices here many times, and I have always been happy with them (my 3-year-old son loves them too). I tried a make-your-own juice with carrot, beet, red pepper, ginger, and lemon recently, and it turned out to be an awesome combination. I love it that they offer the wraps as salads. I get the spinach tofu wrap as a salad (under $8 w tax) almost every day. Occasionally, I will order one of the wraps with chicken or beef, and they are excellent as well. My wife says the soups are great. I cannot think of better place in Davis Square or anywhere within a 15 minute bike ride from Tufts to get a delicious, healthy, satisfying, and inexpensive lunch. I am so glad to find a locally-owned, vegetarian-and-health-food friendly restaurant that is reasonably priced here. This is my favorite kind of food to eat as simple daily sustenance, and there don't seem to be enough of these kinds of places in Boston.

Nice clean place with indoor and outdoor seating options. Fast and polite service. Received a recommendation to try the peanut butter smoothie and wasn't disappointed. 20 oz. for $6.50, a nice mix of chocolate, peanut butter and banana. They also offer a PB&j version. Many healthy wraps and sandwich options. Including a healthier version of a Ruben made with turkey.

The food here is always satisfying, I've had soups, salads, wraps, sandwiches and always left happy. My only reason for reducing it to 3 stars is that they don't open early enough for me to get a juice on my in to work, and on two occasions I've waited and the juice bar has been out of commission. Its a great concept, lots of seating, and great to have healthy food so quick and easy. I just wish they had earlier hours!

I like Blue Shirt Cafe well enough, but I feel like most of the menu items don't end up tasting as amazing as I'd expect from their descriptions; I've had some pretty boring sandwiches there. However, It's a good option to keep everyone happy if I'm out with friends who are vegetarian or vegan, and the peanut butter smoothie is AWESOME. The ambiance is a bit cafeteria-ish.

I really enjoy the convenience of a vegan, vegetarian, organic option in Davis Square for lunch as it is close to my work. I have had the beet juice, salads, and burrito bowls on several occasions but my one nag about this place is they are completely over priced. $6 for a 8 oz juice, come on...

Great dishes and great shakes. I always get the spinach chicken bowl. They have a delicious garlic avioli dressing that is just divine. That mixed with it's low prices make this place a go to in Davis square.

I went to the Blue Shirt Cafe for a late brunch with a friend of mine today and I was impressed with the unassuming cafe. I've often considered the restaurant for lunch while in Davis but hadn't made it in. I enjoyed a peanut Tofu wrap: slightly spicy tofu sauce oozing from a soft whole wheat wrap encasing curried tofu cubes, brown rice, and Shredded carrots. I had ordered it as a salad but enjoyed the meal fully nonetheless. My company had a terrific egg Sandwich with Seitan-Sausage on an Iggys Everything bagel. The bread was, well, perfect as Iggys implies and the sausage and egg were just right slid between. Prices are good and the menu is huge. Go!
