Google
Blue Star Donuts serves delicious donuts, at a price. We usually visit maybe once a year. Nice shop, good service just simply expensive for me. 4 Donuts, 16oz latte....31$ Donuts are excellent!

Google
the donuts and oatmilk matcha were very yummy! My mom got an oatmilk latte and loved it! The matcha was a solid 6/10, the matcha flavor wasn’t very strong to be honest so I would advise getting a coffee. I recommend the old fashion donuts, we got the lemon poppy seed but i’m sure all the unique flavors are amazing! the matcha donut was also good but the texture of the old fashions were unbeatable. we got 2 drinks and 4 donuts for around $27.

Google
The seasonal honey lavender latte is very good, the mellow earthy coffee goes with it perfectly for a surprisingly good drink. The donuts ar delicious and fresh. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Google
This is such a great location and cute little donut place. What really made it an enjoyable and incredible experience was the employee who was so so kind and helpful to our larger group of 7. They were very kind and helpful by being patient and having great recommendations. The Berry cherry cheesecake and the maple glaze donuts are pictured— both were so good

Google
I still think about these donuts 🍩 Blue Star Donuts are bomb 💣. The Chocolate Bergamot donut was the first one I tried. Its rich chocolate flavor balanced by the citrusy notes of bergamot was unique and it was a nice surprise. The Orange Olive Oil donut was refreshingly bright and tangy, with the olive oil adding a subtle richness. Finally, the Buttermilk Old Fashioned was a classic done to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with a tangy sweetness of a glazed donut.

Google
One of the best gourmet doughnuts in Portland imo. Got the seasonal items, pear lavender fritter flavor was amazing and everyone’s favourite. Passionfruit cocoa nibs was good but a bit sour , Strawberry Sakura was ok and least favourite, Matcha was nice and fluffy. Nice snack for our trip to Woodburn but ended up eating for late night snack at our hotel.

Google
First off, I think you should know... I Love donuts. Like at the top of my favorite tasty treats list level of Love.So naturally I like to stop by new donut locations whenever I have the chance. There were only about ten different flavors they offered here. For as big as this building is, I was surprised they didn't take advantage of the space they had to work with. Without a doubt though, I was more than pleasantly surprised when I tried a Tropical Delight donut. It was one of the best donuts I've ever had. Need I remind you, I've tried allot of donuts. There were so many flavors packed into this one diamond donut bite and they were each delicious. It should also be noted that a handful of their donuts have alcohol in them, including an apple cider fritter situation. It was okay but something I probably won't be trying again. The dough was really dense and a bit dry. That tropical delight on the other hand is something I would drive miles out of my way to get another one of. Oh and a quick heads up, the two donuts cost me about $12...I know, but seriously try the tropical delight.

Google
I got the lemon poppyseed donut and the a mocha latte. The lemon poppyseed donut was super flavorful and delicious. The mocha seemed like it was made with homemade sauce, it seemed like dark chocolate bc it still tasted a bit bitter. The service was amazing, the lady who took my order was so sweet!

Yelp
Classic donuts with a twist done well. If you're not feeling up to the antics of voodoo this is your place. Simple no frills donut shop that gets straight to the point without slacking on flavor. I got a raspberry old fashioned, party O'G and a maple glaze. They were all delicious but the raspberry old fashioned was the star yo me... Service was fast kind and cheerful. Not much sitting room so more of a grab and go place. Would definitely recommend and return!

Yelp
Staff was friendly and helpful. The shop was clean and had ample items set out, like napkins, sugar, etc. Really fun flavors and tasty donuts. Still like it more than Voodoo ;) Parking: pay to park on the street (not a super crowded area). Easy to park - I went morning on a weekday.

Yelp
Stopped by Blue Star donuts and tried an array of delectable selections. My selections were the strawberry glazed cake, chocolate glazed cake and orange olive oil cake donut. The donut cake was dense and favorable. I would describe the cake flavor with a strong vanilla flavor with the actually flavors taking more of a background. This was fine for me because I favor vanilla. All the options that I selected were fresh and the flavors were all on point. Also I'll note that donut sizes were huge. This is a great bonus. All great attributes of a thriving business. Do stop by if you're in the area.

Yelp
Fun donut flavors and a peaceful location in south waterfront. Perfect for a quick snack!

Yelp
The donuts are delicious, but quite pricey. Service was friendly, and the ambiance is chill. I would recommend to try!

Yelp
I came here on a Monday morning and there was only one person working. Despite 3 rude customers in front of me, the girl working remained professional and kind! I got mine and my husband's favorite donuts and one new one to try. All 3 were amazing but honestly the service was the highlight. That girl needs a raise! I plan to come back and try the breakfast fritter; I love a savory donut!

Kennedy S.

Yelp
For a $9 drink I honestly expected more. It was my first time in to a blue star and I'll never go back again nor will I tell anyone in our area on south waterfront to check it out either. My normal go to spot for drinks was closed today due to a leak so I decided to try blue star's drink menu as I pass by it everyday. I was excited to try somewhere new. The service was awkward and not friendly at all. Was not greeted with a hello or what can we get you. The person working just looked at me like I was an inconvenience for coming in. I asked if they had iced drinks after my order was taken cause that's usually what I get but was responded with "we don't do iced but i can just refund you if you'd like". A simple "no, I'm sorry we don't serve iced" would've sufficed because either way I wanted a coffee this morning and I'm not super picky if options are limited as I understand they mainly sell donuts. It's unfortunate that this was how the start to my day went. I use to serve coffee myself and always say your cup of coffee sets the tone for your day and sadly this was the experience to start my day off.

Yelp
This location is in a really hotspot and a quiet area on South waterfront and I love walking this area all the way to MacAdam Bay past there to sell wood so if you want to grab a quick coffee and a doughnut and eat this on your walk will be burning calories will also taken in some delicious donuts, but these go great with coffee as well. Each donut is heavy by weight and with flavor is so delicious. One of the best donut shops in Portland locally. And there's a few others that are great too and if you know you know.

Yelp
The lemon poppyseed old fashioned donut is the BEST donut I've had in my entire life. Nothing compares. This is my must have when in Portland.

Yelp
So we arrived via lime scooter from our hotel about a 15min walk away. We wanted to scope out the neighborhood and it's definitely all walkable and safe. We walked in and only had one other person in front of us. The service was great and we were offered donut hole samples (maple, strawberry shortcake, and Orange creamsicle), our actual donuts that we purchased were the lemon/lime curd covered in powdered sugar and his was the blueberry bourbon basil, and for our drinks --a nitro cold brew with oat milk and his was a hot coffee with lavender cream (special flavor addition for the summer). For someone who is used to California Cambodian made donuts , I thought these were a good compromise (and better than say, Dunkin) I like my donuts fresh like out of the fryer but we didn't get here early enough for that. The interior is simple and clean and love the phrase of 'Donuts for Grown-ups' Will come back tomorrow for another pick me up to kick off our morning.

Yelp
First time trying a doughnut from this place and boy was I impressed. I already had an americano in hand when I stepped into the store. I was greeted immediately by the employee. I arrived late in the afternoon and most of their inventory had already been sold out. I had a total of 4 doughnuts to choose from. I asked the employee what he recommended since it was my first time and he said that the "sugar and spice" would go good with my Americano. Boy was he right! The cake in the doughnut had the perfect moisture content and texture. The sugar and spice ratio to add to the flavor of the doughnut. I can't vouch for all the doughnuts but certainly their cake doughnuts are spot on.

Yelp
I'm always a fan of Blue Star donuts and must get it every time I visit Portland to bring back home. Their flavors rotate based on the seasons, but my favorite is the passion fruit. I hope they bring that back soon! I was sad to hear that it was out of rotation this holiday season, as it's the first time since years that it was off the menu. There's locations everywhere, even at the airport. Although the one at the airport is currently closed right now. I recommend going early if you can, to have more options on the flavor. The later in the day it gets, some popular flavors tend to run out. Service is pretty quick as it's just people picking out donuts. Even at crowded times, it'll take no more than 5/10 minutes to grab your donuts.
google avatar

Yelp
The chocolate bergamot donut tasted very oily. It was hard to taste the other flavors besides oil. However, the lemon donut was pretty good. Cute place and friendly service though.

Yelp
Let's talk about fancy doughnuts; shall we? If you come here don't expect your friendly neighborhood doughnut shop (although the employees are friendly!). Also, don't expect some crazy frosted, decorated, with cereal hanging off of it etc. No, these are not your grandma's doughnuts. These doughnuts are like fancy cakes with a hole in them. They are fried and they taste like a doughnut with complex flavors and...well...sometimes booze. I just moved down the street and was starving. This was the first open place I saw on google maps. So, I ordered pickup. I was simply shocked by the flavors and the actual visual appeal of these. I had their hot drip coffee which was good for drip. I like mine a bit stronger but no complaints. They are a bit more expensive then some other places but are well worth it. The people there are nice too! Oh and yea, you can bring in your dog. They seem to love dogs, there.
google avatar

Vanessa C.

Yelp
The donuts were okay! They didn't blow me away, but cool they had seasonal flavors. I had a keylime pie donut which was coated in powdered sugar. The filling was so good, I don't think it needed the powdered sugar at all. Ordered: Lemon and Key Lime Pie, Brandy Apple Crumble, Gingerbread
google avatar

Yelp
I so miss Blue Star; they simply have the best donuts, and out here in Texas things might be bigger, but they're not better. You don't get the luscious, quality, balanced flavor and texture of Blue Star and their unique powerful flavors but not overpowering or cloyingly sweet of frosting or excess sugar as a novelty. Their consistency is apparent at any and all of their locations, same great taste, even after years of not having them. They just need to expand and show the rest of the country what they're missing!

Yelp
Our first time at BSD. It was on our list to visit while in Porland and since there are several locations - you can pick the most convenient location for you. This location is within blocks (walking distance) of the aerial tram at the University and Hospital. So many flavors to pick from - I had to pick the creme brulee (as this is the only place I know of that offers that as a donut flavor as is the case for some of the other flavors), lavender something, an apple fritter, chocolate and lemon. We bought 6 to share among the 7 of us. There was a bench outside so we sat outside and slowly enjoyed each bite. Yes - the donuts are a little pricey ranging from $3.75 - $4.50 depending on the flavor. (Creme brulee was most expensive at $4.50 with the pipette that contains a liquor flavor that you can either squeeze inside the donut which already has a custard filling or squeeze into your mouth according to the staff). The staff was very nice in explaining the flavors and patient as we couldn't decide on which flavor to pick. I'm glad there wasn't a line. A family member said the apple fritter donut was the best donut he's ever had. This is the first time I've ever had a creme brulee donut - which had the crispy topping like an actual creme brulee. Summary - they were delicious - it will be our guage from now and unfortunately it will be hard to top these light fluffy flavorable donuts.

Yelp
1st timer at BSD! Zero people/line at 8:30am on a Monday. Friendly workers. I chose 3 kinds of donuts to take home, and a drip coffee. Notes on the ones I got: 1.) Cointreau Crème Brûlée - my favorite of the 3. The top is hard, like creme brûlée should be, and it's satisfying to crack the donut in half. The custard in the middle is just right, not too sweet, and the donut itself is tender and delicious. I didn't like (and discarded) the Orange liqueur filled squeezie thing, it just made the taste bitter. I'd happily get a box of these next time. 2.) Apple Cider Fritter - so HEAVY. I liked some of the warm spices in there, but didn't really taste cider. It was much better smelling, tasting and texture after I microwaved it for 20 seconds. To be fair, I've never been much of an apple fritter fan, and this one didn't change my mind on that. 3.) Raspberry Rosemary Old-Fashioned - very sweet! The raspberry in the icing comes thru right away, as does a bit of the raspberry tartness. The buttermilk donut underneath was delicious, however, I detected zero rosemary. I found it odd, as rosemary is usually such a pronounced flavor. My take away: I think my expectations were kind of high. I found out that the donuts aren't made at this store, they're made in a different store and transported to the smaller stores later. I think I was really looking to walk in and have the smell of fresh donuts hit the nostrils, and have the taste of a freshly glazed donut wow my tastebuds. I'll likely return, since this location is within walking distance of my home, but probably just for that creme brûlée confection.

Yelp
YUM! If you want a yummy donut - I 10/10 recommend checking out blue star donuts. They do have a lot of unique flavors outside of your traditional chocolate sprinkled donut, but you can still get an old fashioned donut. I got a tropical donut with more fruity tones & more cake like. The flavor was phenomenal and for being a cake donut, it was still very light! My bf got the Blueberry Bourbon Basil and it was so airy and fluffy with just the right about of sweetness. We also had a big group of friends who all tried different ones and everyone loved the donuts! If you're in portlant, skip voodoo and come here!
google avatar

Israel G.

Yelp
Walked in and got served immediately. No line. No fuss. No thrills. Just good donuts and coffee. Their dough has a unique flavoring from their 18 hour French brioche process. We loved the coffee and donuts. Great spot here for locals.

Yelp
A small shop with tasty selection of donuts. It's a great neighborhood donut spot with various types of donuts, coffee and drinks. Super quiet. They close once everything is sold, so hours may vary. They do have vegan and DF selections for those that need them. Cons: I wish they carried GF options, and sometimes it helps to know all the ingredients in the flavors (i.e. I tried one recently that had unadvertised cayenne in it and was super spicy). Overall great spot!

Annie G.

Yelp
Great coffee and donuts! The donuts melted in your mouth and the coffee was nice and hot!
google avatar

Sabrina S.

Yelp
This place has DELICIOUS donuts, with unique and changing flavors. The vegan donuts are amazing too It's become a special treat for me since I live nearby. I have even left one of their donuts in the fridge for a few days and it was still as delicious as ever Plus they have nitro cold brew! Yum!! Only downside is occasionally they don't have the support they need to be open every day - which I'm not willing to remove a star for bc it's out of their control and I just wanna go every day!
google avatar

Christina I.

Yelp
The donut was delicious. It wasn't my favorite donut but the staff were friendly and the place was clean. I would recommend to my friends.
google avatar

Kelsey C.

Yelp
Wow, these donuts made me feel like I hadn't really had donuts until now. The OG is perfection, the Loganberry Cider is simply fruity and sweet. Blueberry Bourbon Basil tastes like summer. There's a fantastic filling in the Meyer Lemon and Key Lime Curd. The Hard Apple Cider Fritter is just the best thing I've ever eaten, this genius Pear Lavender and Crème Brûlée is covered in a gorgeous crust of torched sugar. Apply Cointreau liberally - it adds a bit of bitter and a bit of citrus for balance. Best donuts I've ever had. Only donuts I've ever been truly excited about, even better than Sidecar, which is really saying something.
google avatar

Jen M.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to get donuts when you're looking for something a little "extra". These guys are definitely out of the box thinkers. You won't find any plain chocolate or vanilla iced with sprinkles here. Instead, every donut has a unique flavor combination that is sure to set your tastebuds ablaze. From Crème Brûlée to Chocolate Almond Ganache, you're definitely going to find something that makes you drool. And the donuts are huge too! Definitely big enough for two, at least in my opinion. My preference is to get a wide variety and then slice them into smaller sections so that everyone gets to try the different flavors for themselves. Bottom line, if you've never tried Blue Star, give them a shot. You won't be disappointed. They may be a little on the more expensive side, but you definitely get what you pay for.
google avatar

Su-jen Y.

Yelp
Blue star donuts are great in the sense that they are both tasty and unique but on the expensive side. I never thought that donuts can cost $4 each. I had the coconut, lemon poppy seed and the passion fruit ones this time. I liked the lemon poppy seed and less so for the coconut one but I'm not a big coconut shred person. The donut textures are good, I think the ones I had this time are all cake donuts. But I prefer them to be even softer haha. Next time I want to try the filled donuts.
google avatar

Leah F.

Yelp
This is kind of a crank review (which is annoying, sorry) BUT it was $9.60 for a donut and coffee! Which is wild. The donut was great as always, I got the apple brandy one. It was $5.50 for the most mid coffee imaginable. I'm guessing there's a SW riverfront markup but I thought this was very silly.
google avatar

John K.

Yelp
I heard Blue Star Donuts was the best option for Portland donuts, so we stopped by for breakfast. We places our order the night before and the donuts were already boxed when we got there. The place is quaint and small. Picnic tables outside, no seating inside. The donuts are on display and look AMAZING! The coffee was great. I ordered an apple butter filled and a bourbon basil blueberry. The BBB was awesome. I only planned on eating half, but it was so good I ate it all. However, I ate the apple butter one first and it was supposed to be filled with apple butter, but it was not. There was no filling in the donut. So, it was super disappointing. Still giving them a 4-star rating, but had to deduct a star for the donut snafu.
google avatar

Marco M.

Yelp
Doughnut shop is clean and doughnuts are displayed well. Doughnuts for me were a miss in flavors . I still prefer vodoo doughnuts, especially the peanut butter and jelly
google avatar

Jennifer N.

Yelp
We went on a saturday morning and there was no wait! The donuts were delish, got the old fashion and hot mexican chocolate. I can see why portland is known for this donuts now!
google avatar

Lane R.

Yelp
Delicious donuts, friendly staff! I'm an adventurous eater and ordered one of everything (my bank account cried), and I think my favorites were the orange olive oil and raspberry rosemary old fashioned! The brioche dough they use has a wonderful taste and airy texture, and their flavors are anything but artificial! I've been to Voodoo before, and they've got nothing on Blue Star!
google avatar

Katrina M.

Yelp
Blue Star offers a unique selection of donuts true to Portland's reputation. From an olive oil orange to a horchata glazed classic, these were far more appealing to adult taste buds than the way/too-sugary-but-colorful-Captain-Crunch-topped donuts at Voodoo Donuts. However, buyer beware, the dozen I bought today came out to be a jaw-dropping $47 for a bakers dozen. At nearly $4/donut, they were good/-but I'm sorry, not *that* good. It's no wonder that prices are not displayed anywhere in the store. Do yourself a favor, pick one that appeals you you, just to give it a try, but don't go beyond that. After all, a donut really is just a donut, it was mainly the glazes that made them unique.
google avatar

Ted M.

Yelp
Went here and got the OG donut and the olive oil and orange donut. Yo. These were so dang good!! I also got the chai they serve, on tap and nitro. I didn't get it with any milk or sugar, it was delish, the flavors of chai were very prominent. They are Pershing during covid they just allow one party at a time (I think max 2 people) in the store, then line up outside to wait. Couple of tables outside to hangout. Highly recommend coming here, it was super good and the staff was very friendly!
google avatar

Lili'u H.

Yelp
These are my FAVORITE donuts I've ever tried. They're delicious, fresh, and they have so many options including some vegan options and some for other dietary restrictions. The service is quick, and the store is super cute with plenty of space to sit. SO worth a trip! I live in the South Waterfront area and I could not be happier with having Blue Star just a couple blocks away
google avatar

Christy P.

Yelp
I'm not a donut person and the donut didn't blow me away but hot damn, the service was excellent. Our server was friendly, informative, prompt, and was wearing a mask yas. I got the pear lavender and was pleasantly surprised by the pipette it came with! More of this please!
google avatar

Tracy L.

Yelp
As with many places, I personally think they are over-hyped. Sometimes these places try to do too many crazy flavors, but forget that sometimes you just have to get the basic things done right. I did like my Buttermilk Old Fashion...but was it great enough to justify the price? Not really. The Chocolate Almond Ganache was promising - but the donut dough was far too dense and chewy, and the flavor, meh. I also ordered a chai, which was also mediocre. We showed up at about 8:45am and no other customers were there. And at that time they already didn't have Cinnamon Sugar - or was a classic that kids tend to like not made today? The fancy flavors just don't appeal to kids, and I just needed one good basic, solid donut - regular glazed, cinnamon sugar, or even a chocolate glazed donut. He ended up having some of my old fashion, but didn't like it.
google avatar

Lim L.

Yelp
Walked in after lunch on a weekday and there was no line. The staff was friendly and recommended some interesting flavors to try. All the donuts were tasty, and my favorite was the chocolate almond ganache. The only downside is that they are also expensive. A box of 4 donuts came out to be $15.50! A treat to get maybe once in a while.
google avatar

Mariko K.

Yelp
Love that there was no line when I went (a Fri morning at 8am). This was my first visit to this location and first visit to any location since the pandemic started. I tried their three holiday flavors: gingerbread buttermilk, eggnog creme brulee, and carrot za'atar. I had forgotten how amazing their donuts are. The buttermilk and creme brulee were both delightfully fluffy and not dry, with the just right level of sweetness. I didn't care for the flavors of the creme brulee or carrot, but they had amazing texture.
google avatar

Jessica D.

Yelp
What I ordered: creme brûlée donut Taste: I like the orange zest flavor with the donut Parking: street Wasn't crowded at opening time in a Friday. Pretty unique flavors.

Yelp
Blue Star Donuts (Gaines Street / Portland, OR) How do you celebrate National Donut Day in Portland? You go to Blue Star Donuts, of course. Blue Star Donuts created a special donut for this special day dubbed the Poppin' Funfetti. The name of this donut is pretty much what you get. It's a vanilla/birthday cake donut powdered with their culinary pop rocks. This donut is so good and probably the best donut that I have ever had Blue Star Donuts. If you ever tried Christina Tosi's Birthday Cake and love it, then you'll love Blue Star Donuts' Poppin' Funfetti. The Poppin' Funfetti is masterpiece and is the reason why I gave this location 5-stars. Portions of the proceeds also went to a local nonprofit in Portland supporting STEM education. It's just too bad that this donut was only available on National Donut Day.
google avatar

Ash M.

Yelp
I paid twelve stinkin' dollars for two donuts and a 12 ounce cold brew coffee. The donuts were pretty good -- very solid and definitely on the larger side, but not anything extraordinary, taste-wise. I prefer Pip's, tbh. I nearly choked when the guy told me the total, though. Twelve dollars? Are you kidding me? I could go buy an actual meal for that at a restaurant. Next time, I will. I had only gotten these as a special treat while being temporarily evacuated because of the smoke across Oregon. These donuts are likely worth the cost to some folks, but they don't quite do it for me.
google avatar

Jay B.

Yelp
A must try if you are in the area. Delicious fluffy donuts. Went there on a Monday morning, was in and out in under 5 minutes. Will be visiting again.

Donald H.

Yelp
After trying several donut shops around Portland, I've found myself coming back to Blue Star for the consistency with their flavors. The donuts are sweet but not overly so and have a nice cake texture without being too dense. They also have unique flavors that you'd have a hard time finding elsewhere. My personal favorites include the Blueberry Bourbon, OG, Chocolate Bergamot, and Orange Olive Oil. At the time of this review, the ones I got were $4.50 each so they are a bit pricey. However, I think 1 of their donuts can get you pretty full, so if you're on a budget, I'd probably stick to this option.
google avatar

Yelp
after hearing that this was the donut shop to go to in portland we had to stop by! i loved the old fashioned donuts they have and the gingerbread old fashioned is a nice simple donut that satisfied my donut craving. the baba au coffee rhum was such a unique flavor! definitely coming back if i ever come back to the area. the cashiers were also super nice after we told them we weee from out of town. also a nice place for a quick stop on the morning but they do have limited seating inside.

Chris H.

Yelp
AMAZING donuts - have not tried one I didn't love. Friendly and courteous service. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Cheyenne -.

Yelp
Super delicious and there was no line to wait. I ordered a box of 6 to share, and decided to try multiple different ones. All the donuts were fluffy, perfect and i could not decide which was better.

Yelp
I love Blue Star (much better than Voodoo no matter what anyone says! The wait is shorter, the quality is better, and it's way less touristy, a much more local experience) and come to this location probably once a week at least to get a morning donut. My opinion of Blue Star in general: SUPER good, best donut chain in Portland. There's a variety of donuts there, so I like it because I believe there's something for everyone (my personal favorite is the Vahlrona Chocolate Crunch - it has chocolate spread and crunchy chocolate wafer balls on top, with vanilla custard inside - so good!). If you don't like what I like, chances are there's something you WILL like - for a non-chocolate lover there are A LOT of options. Here's a flyer of their most common donuts if you want to take a peek: http://www.bluestardonuts.com/wp-content/uploads/BSD_flyer_donutmenu2016.pdf They also have really bomb coffee - people come here for donuts and coffee on a Sunday morning before church, after running in this area, to hang out, etc. A heads up if you're not from Portland - Blue Star closes each day whenever they sell out of donuts (so even if it says it's open until 8pm, it might not actually be open at 8pm if they've already sold all their donuts) Blue Star's a chain that is present all over Portland, but I especially like this location because it's super low key. It's not a super touristy area like other locations downtown, and parking is a lot easier (especially on weekends). The line isn't crazy long, the service is great. There's benches outside to chill, a water dispenser is available inside. I love dog watching around here (people always tie their dogs to the outside benches and they're so adorable!) I frequently bring Blue Star coffee back to friends and family in California, and my friends love getting Blue Star boxes to bring back when they visit too. Literally the most delightful little treat-yourself spot, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Anyone that says they prefer "voodoo" over BSD has never had a gourmet doughnut. These aren't even comparable because they are on an entirely different level. BSD has complex, sophisticated doughnut flavors that remind me of a classic French pâtisserie. It seriously is a culinary treat coming here & I encourage any foodies or chefs to try this place out, you won't be disappointed! Also, I haven't had a bad experience food or service wise with any BSD location! The popular flavors will sell out though so get there early & enjoy!
