This is one of our go to spots in town! while the wait may be longer(for good reason), the service and people as well as the food are worth whatever the wait time may be. the employees are fantastic especially Henry, who is tentative and always ensures my friends and I are taken are of. this is a frequent visit for us and we continue to give them business! they’re food is phenomenal and always impresses. this family owned establishment, is one of the best in the area and its whole in the wall feel, makes it wholesome and comforting! thank you Blue Sushi! :)

Pick up order of two sushi rolls in one container - the volcano roll slices were so small they were smaller then my pinky. I spoke to the manager who referenced that it was a pick up order not eat in. Asked him if it was cheaper to pick up since the portions were minuet- I told him to delete the order and he told me no- three times. I left my food there and cancelled it on my AMEX. Did I mention the manager was talking on his cell phone while I was talking to him. I will NEVER go back there! And did I mention it was $35 and they included a tip. Nope not ripping me off- and I had to add a star or else I couldn’t place the review, if it was up to me they would have gotten NONE!

Do not order from here. Their web site was very professional and allowed me to place my order and time I would be picking it up. I placed my order at 1pm for a 6:30 pickup. I arrived promptly and it was not ready. I waited patiently for over a hour still not ready. I then wanted to cancel and get a refund and the manager went from speaking English to not understanding it. I could not believe it. Finally, after 20 more minutes and trying to communicate with her they called my name. I just took the order and left. I understand it is was a Friday night and they were busy but they need to come up with a better system. Also there were at least 5 other people going through the same ordeal as me. I will say the sushi was tasty but very small. Not worth the money nor aggravation. Never will go there again.

Go to sushi spot on the shore or in the area! The fish is very tasty and the sushi comes fast. They also have other options for people not only looking to have sushi or fish for dinner

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I was quite upset leaving the restaurant. First, the positive, the food we ordered was good and plentiful. The clear soup was hot; the sushi was fresh; and my veggie dish was very tasty and crunchy. Second, the service was impersonal and rather robotic; however, that was not the issue. What embarrassed me occurred when the server rushed out of the restaurant to tell me I didn't leave a tip when, in fact, I left a cash tip of a little more than 20 percent of the total bill, which I think was generous given the basic service I received. I have never had this happen to me. To add to it, I was already getting into my car as the server yelled to me from close to the building so others could hear. I explained that I left a cash tip, and the other server picked up the bill. The server ran into the building after I explained what happened. I didn't know what to do, so I waited to see if he would return. He did return and gave a thumbs up. He never came to the car to apologize. I called the restaurant when I got home. I asked for the owner, but I'm not sure I even spoke to the owner since the person stated he would tell the owner what had happened. I know we are entering the busy season; the servers will be very busy. I was not happy with how I was treated; I will not return.

I have thoroughly enjoyed dining at Blu throughout this summer, and each visit has been a delight. The sushi has consistently been fresh and has never let me down. Our server, Henry, has provided impeccable service; he is genuinely in tune with our preferences and always offers excellent suggestions, especially when it comes to the chef’s specialties. Every time we arrive, we are greeted with warmth and care from him, making us feel valued and appreciated during our meals. Henry has truly enhanced our dining experiences. I highly recommend visiting Blu to enjoy not only the delicious food but also the welcoming atmosphere and outstanding hospitality.

We don’t normally dine in during the summer as it is always crowded but we do take out and each time I tell myself it’s going to be the last time, you order online they tell you it will be 40 minutes, so you call to check after 40 minutes they say 20 minutes so you show up and you sit here and wait for a minimum of 30 more minutes. Honestly, a much better system would be to text you once your order is ready since they have your phone number and it would alleviate so many people crowding the waiting area in the restaurant. Nobody communicates with you while you wait and it’s so frustrating. The food is delicious though so no complaints there
