"Blue Water Cafe is from the same people as Stefano’s, and is like the hypothetical love child of that white-tablecloth seafood restaurant and a casual diner. This BYOB American spot on Long Beach Boulevard in Beach Haven serves things like yellowfin tuna and lobster-whipped potatoes at dinner, but it also has a massive breakfast menu with plates of huevos rancheros and Nutella french toast. We like it best for brunch, especially if you sit on the covered patio outside and order their phenomenal burger topped with a huge portion of blue crab dip." - alison kessler, regan stephens, matt tervooren, tonya russell

Casual BYOB grill on the island with good seafood, relaxed vibes, and an extensive sandwich menu. Pros: Food is very tasty (e.g., burrata appetizer, mango shrimp salad), servers are friendly, prices are reasonable for LBI, and portions are comparatively big (e.g., my piece of snapper was at least 12 oz maybe more) Cons: Depending on where you sit you’re kind of close to the blvd, my wife thought her oysters could have been shucked more cleanly

Absolutely delicious food all around. My friend got extremely emotional after he finished all the clams. We sat right next to the street so car noise was a little loud but overall it was fine. Declan did a fantastic job and I was extremely impressed when he memorized all of the appetizers and was very detailed. Only negative things about this place was that the wait was about 30 minutes and the water tasted a little funny. Other than that I reccomend this place 100%

We came here as soon as we got on the island our first day for lunch. The food was excellent as well as the service. A few family members met us while there and the staff was super accommodating in moving us to a bigger table. I hate being that person, but they were very nice about it. Not to mention again the food was delicious so we went back for dinner a few nights later which was equally as delicious and same great service.

This place has the perfect atmosphere and decor for the NJ summer down the shore! If temperature permits, grab a seat in the covered outdoor dining area among the tastefully landscaped planter boxes, in order to get the full effect. The menu is eclectic enough for any taste. My brunch selection was a Greek omelet, which was perfect! Even the crispy, deep-fried potatoes were a treat. The short stack of pancakes was too much to finish. The cakes were fluffy but a little dense in the middle. Bottom line- Blue Water Cafe is definitely worth a try on LBI!

Our last day on vacation is reserved with a nice dinner with the family. We were on our way to another restaurant when we saw Blue water cafe. They mentioned BYOB and kids menu so we stopped in to ask the wait time (for a Sunday) which was 30 min for our family of 4 so we agreed to wait. It felt less than 30 min as the hostess showed us to our seats. Anthony our waiter reviewed the specials and we made our choices. The wife and I chose to split the zucchini mashed potato special with a salad which was more than enough for us. Their kids menu had ours vying for the penne noodles with sauce. Everything from the consistency and flavor was so good! After dinner we decided for dessert which I opted for the cheesecake cone as my kids went for the chocolate cake, again an A+. We are definitely making Blue water Cafe our go to whenever we return to the island. Thank you to everyone for making our night special.

Stopped in on the way home after a not so good experience with bland appetizers at another place. Had half of the Millionaires Meatloaf which was delicious and shared a bottle of wine. BYOB but they sell full bottles. Lots of great choices on the menu... Would definitely return. Nice view out front on the covered patio.
