We had a pleasant lunch. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. One person got angry at me for walking through a waiting area on my way to the restroom. The selection on the menu was excellent. I was able get the exact lunch I wanted. So did my mother. Mother was able to get the exact drink to mark the occasion. Nice food, nice people (except for the stiff arm lady) excellent selection and excellent service. I would highly recommend you try the place. Just be careful of that lady on your way to the bathroom!!

I enjoyed the mixed berry crepe with a side of bacon. The crepe is filled with vanilla yogurt and berries. The bacon was thick and cooked perfectly. It was very tasty. The portion size was good. I visited in early July and it was 90 degrees outside. I sat on the covered patio and it was comfortable. I look forward to visiting again!

Google
Wow! Had the chicken panini and the chicken and waffles and the three egg omelette. First off they have the best home fries that I've had thus far in Tucson! I had the three egg omelet with home fries. But I tried the chicken panini and the chicken and waffles and about fell out of my chair. Those were amazing. We also got a Nutella French toast to go and it was amazing as well. I highly recommend this place to others that will be returning if for anything the home fries.

Had a great meal at Blue Willow! Tried the huevos rancheros and the breakfast burrito both were delicious and full of flavor. The huevos had just the right balance of spice and texture, and the burrito was hearty without being too heavy. What really stood out was the excellent service our server was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Definitely a place worth coming back to when in Tucson!

Got lavender blueberry lemonade and Blue Willow Special, plus pinto beans and toast. The lemonade is a pretty great blend of sweetness and sourness. And the eggs with chicken were pretty unique. Also the restaurant is quite subtly modern, whoevers running their tech/publicity/merch knows their stuff

I love that I can come out in 109° weather and sit out in the back patio and feel comfortable. Customer Service was great. She was on time and delivered quality food.

Google
I love Blue Willow. You can eat indoors or out on a closed in patio. It's such a nice place. I have food allergies and they are fabulous at working with them so that I feel safe. The staff is always so friendly. I enjoy looking through their gift shop. They often have great things that you have to have. This is my favorite restaurant.

Google
A wonderful friend and I had a superb experience this afternoon for our breakfast/lunch choices. I enjoyed the Tofu Scramble with a side of brown rice and tortillas while my friend had the Two Eggs Any Style dish with a side of fruit. We also had the Hummingbird cake. Our server was Anthony J., he was truly awesome in every way. He was very patient while we decided what to eat/drink, and attentive as well as friendly the entire time. We both also cherished the warm comforting environment and the adorable gift shop as well.

Yelp
If you're seeking a charming spot in Tucson that seamlessly blends boutique charm with delightful dining experience you have to check this place out. They have so many quirky knickknacks and a cozy, eclectic feel. I saw so many things I wanted to purchase yet I chose the prickly pear honey... yum and a honeybee necklace. I actually stopped in for dinner with my mom and we indulged in the tostada and the chicken and waffles both dishes arrived promptly and were absolutely delicious. The tostada was generously topped and bursting with flavor, while the chicken and waffles struck a perfect balance between crispy and tender, complemented by a delightful hint of sweetness. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish. Beyond the boutique they have both indoor and outdoor seating options, making it ideal for various occasions, whether you're enjoying a sunny brunch or a cozy dinner. Their extensive menu caters to a wide range of tastes, offering everything from hearty Tex-Mex dishes to fresh salads and vegetarian options. When I first heard the name of this restaurant it screamed brunch or cafe. To my surprise they offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring you can satisfy your cravings at any time. This café's unique ambiance and delectable offerings make it a standout choice and I can't wait to come back and try their breakfast.

Yelp
Wait staff really great, hostess helpful getting us in as we both use walkers. So nice, accommodating, and friendly. My friend had huevos rancheros, very tasty but almost impossible to cut up and eat. It would be great to break up the tortillas under the beans and eggs so that they can be eaten too. I decided to take a chance on something different: bad idea! I had the panko crusted chicken and waffle. It was really awful. The tiny waffle was weirdly mushy on one end and hard and grainy at the other. It just was tasteless and unpleasant. There was nothing redeeming about the dish, so I'm just posting to warn you away from it. I've heard Popeyes has it down if that's what you crave. Don't waste your money on chicken and waffle at Blue Willow, terrible.

Yelp
Took my daughter and aunt here for lunch. Overall enjoyed our meals. Service was a bit disappointing. I think I paid 2.50 for a roll and butter. Lol We loved shopping the gift shop before and after lunch.

Yelp
Thank you Blue Willow and staff for great food and service for a group of 24 of us celebrating the life of a dear friend that passed suddenly. You were all wonderful!!!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious and the ambiance matches the food perfectly. I dragged my mom here the other day when P&P was closed, and I was reminded of why this place is so well love here in Tucson. My chai was spiced and like a warm hug. My chicken was perfectly fried and everything on the plate made sense and was delicious. And I will have dreams about their chocolate cake Not a single complaint. Our meal was amazing.

Yelp
I came in for lunch. It's seat yourself, so I quickly found a small table. Dinning area was clean and so was the bathroom. My waitress Amelia was attentive and courteous. I ordered the Sonoran Benedict and chose potatoes for my side ($15) and plain French toast ($10). The Sonoran Benedict was green chile corn cakes with carnitas, poached eggs and poblano cream sauce. Every bite needed to be doused in tobasco to elevate the flavors. The poblano cream sauce was too creamy and didn't have a distinct taste. The corn cake was okay but needed more something. It was underwhelming. The carnitas was also under seasoned and underwhelming. The potatoes were perfectly seasoned but had a strange texture like rubbery. As if they'd been seared then steamed. Plain challah french toast was okay. It was dry. On a scale 1-5 I would give all my food a 2.7. Definitely a bummer I feel this place used to really deliver on flavor. The Sonoran Benedict had tons of positive reviews across platforms. Which is why I tried it. I won't be back.

Yelp
"Brunch goes with drinking culture like peanut butter goes with jelly. Not only did brunch popularize day-drinking, but it's also the genesis of several popular daytime cocktails, including the Mimosa and Bloody Mary. It is actually attributed with spreading the practice of mixing alcohol with juices. In the early to mid-1900s brunch offered a platform for socially acceptable day-drinking." ― boredwalk.com Where else can you buy a quartz crystal, a cactus Christmas tree ornament, and a strawberry hair clip with your brunch? Flowers for Alvernon ($10 - Agave tequila, grapefruit, fresh mint, lemon, agave hibiscus syrup with a Tajin rim): The perfect drink to start your summer's day. It's been a while since I've had a well-balanced cocktail and who would have thought that this cozy eclectic brunch spot in Tucson would have me enthusiastically cheersing with everyone at the table? The flavors worked and kept me cool while we dined al fresco under a giant yellow umbrella. Blackened Shrimp and Grits ($15 - Buttery country-style grits with blackened shrimp and creole sauce): Who wouldn't want a plate of crusted seared shrimp and buttery grits? This hit all the savory notes I was craving that morning and thinking about that gorgeous char on the shrimp has me salivating as I type up this review. Leave your diet at the door. Their menu has so many great items that I wanted to try, so I guess that means I'll be back! Don't forget to stop by their gift shop on the way out. I saw plenty of things that are perfect for gift giving.

Yelp
I ate here several years ago and had a delicious breakfast. I was looking forward to a return visit, but was severely disappointed. I ordered Eggs Benedict. They were pathetic. The Hollandaise sauce was tasteless. The side of potatoes looked like leftovers. Worst of all, when my partner and I arrived home, my body immediately tried to purge itself of this food. I thought it was just me, but then my wife started to complain about being queasy. She ended up going to bed and is still not feeling well today.

Yelp
I'm kind of delightful time at Blue Willow! It has quite a homey feel which I enjoyed. The inside was bright and spacious. We ordered the brunch special, which was a bacon hash with a mimosa. The food came out quickly, and it tasted awesome. I was particularly struck by how fresh the herbs were. The hash browns were cooked to perfection, the over medium egg yolk added a real sumptuous quality to the dish. The mimosa was the chef's kiss! It was all very adorable and great quality for the price point. I think the only thing that would have made my meal better was a great salsa to accompany it. We will be back!

Yelp
Always great food at a really cute place . The little gift shop has some cute smarty pants gifts for your weird friends lol Have eaten lunch and breakfast and never been disappointed

Yelp
Very cute restaurant with outside patio and a very nice gift shop. The food (lots of healthy options), drinks and service were all wonderful. Ordered a quiche that came with potatoes (to die for) and a little bowl of fruit. Their chai latte was delicious and refreshing. I just felt that the place is a little outdated but overall great experience.
google avatar

Yelp
Super cute restaurant. From outside it looks like a tiny restaurant but I was surprised to see the size of the restaurant plus they have a shop as well. As for food, I absolutely loved my salmon cake. My only complaint was the temperature. It could be hotter. ( I like my food HOT but I know not everybody does) I can't wait to go back there and try other items
google avatar

Yelp
This restaurant is actually an adorable historic house. It has the cutest gift shop in the entrance with unique gifts. We sat on the patio and with the heaters on low it was just perfect. Served was friendly and made some suggestions when we asked about the menu items. I had the hibiscus sunrise mocktail which was delicious and presented with a cute sugar rim. I also ordered the tostada with shredded chicken and it was so good. The portion was large too- I was able to get 3 meals out of it. I will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Really great dishes. Especially the huevos rancheros or sonoran Benedict carnitas. They have a beautiful enclosed patio and a really fun gift shop. The lattes and desserts are good.

Yelp
First time at blue willow! Had lunch here and it was such so delicious. I ordered the Blueberry lavender lemonade and a chicken vegetable stir fry as well as a mixed berry crepe. My friend ordered a tostada salad and it was huge! My food was a big portion as well and had so much flavor and the veggies were cooked perfectly. I would order this again! Service was wonderful and loved the gift shop as well!

Yelp
I would definitely recommend calling ahead and reserving a table if you were planning to eat here. We ate here on a Wednesday morning, and every single table was reserved ahead of time. Our service was great and our server was very attentive. It appears that they have limited seating inside for large parties so most likely you will be eating on their covered patio. They have plenty of fans and a swamp cooler, but prepare to be hot if you are eating in the middle of the day during the summer. I really like the vibe of the restaurant. They have some really cool peacock lamps outside. I wish they sold them because I wanna own some myself. My table got a mix of breakfast plates, but it seemed like everyone's favorite was the Sonoran Benedict.
google avatar

Zoya A.

Yelp
This place was very very cute and had the perfect cozy and homey environment- with a very nice gift shop. The options were endless with sweet and savory breakfast and lunch options. I got the hot chicken sandwich and my friend got one of the biggest cinnamon roll pancakes I have ever seen. The waiters were all super sweet and gave us their recommendations and advice and got our food and drinks out quick despite the busy brunch hour. We will definitely be coming back as their were about 8 other things we each wanted off the menu!
google avatar

Yelp
We went here for brunch after a morning of errands. I wish it was closer to where we live on the eastside, as there are lots of yummy choices for breakfast and lunch, as well as a fun gift shop!. I chose the Blue Willow Scramble with a side of greens and sourdough toast. They were happy to put the chopped tortillas on the side. My husband had carnitas on an eggs Benedict dish. Mine was a full plate of eggs and cheeses, with delightful sourdough toast. The salad was basically mixed greens with a side of dressing. They have a beautiful patio, but we chose to sit inside. Our server was attentive.

Michelle

Yelp
Amazing ambiance, service and the eggs Benedict is to die for. Many different drinks as well. On Sunday, expect a slight wait but line moves pretty quickly!
google avatar

Yelp
A very pleasant, local business my friend wanted to share with me for breakfast on a Monday morning. The food was great and service as well where I'm certain the wait staff knew I was visiting. The ambience very pleasant and surroundings filled with local art. Gift shop small, but also filled with local products. We enjoyed our time together, and upon our return to Tucson, we will be back. If I could give this a 4 1/2 star review, that's where it belongs. Photographs included is a specialty omelette.

Yelp
We had the pleasure of dining at Blue Willow for the first time today. Ambiance was pleasurable. Service was fabulous. Food was fantastic. My partner had huevous ranchers. She said it was one of the best she had ever had. I had a 3 egg omelet that was very tasty. They also have Vegan options. All around great place. There is a nice patio for outdoor dining. We will definitely return!
google avatar

Yelp
Arrived a little after lunch time. I seated myself and service was quick and friendly. It was busy for a weekday. I ordered the 3 egg omelette with chicken, spinach and tomatoes. It came with a side of potatoes and toast. The omelette was good with plenty of chicken. The toast crust was burned but had lots of butter. I really stopped by to pickup some birthday cards. The gift shop is great with so many original gifts and a big selection of cards. The dessert case always has something good, the chocolate sour cream cake is the best, so rich and moist.
google avatar

Yelp
A Tucson classic, I have watched this business stroll over the years, and I've never ever had a bad experience there. My first time loving tofu was here with the spinach and tofu breakfast dish. They also have a savoy crepe that will knock your socks off. Bring extra money for the outstanding gift shop.

Elia A.

Yelp
We really enjoyed Blue Willow! The food was delicious, and the service was good. The ambiance in the store is amazing, i love the gift shop as well!

Yelp
Blue Willow is a staple stop on my annual Sonoran Restaurant Week tour. This year's menu might be the best yet. The butternut squash bruschetta was one of the best things I've ever eaten, and the green chile tamale pie was also delish. I'm not a bourbon fan, but our lovely server encouraged me to give the welcome cocktail a try, and it was very tasty! My dining mate has the chorizo stuffed chicken and was also very happy with her meal. Blue Willow is one of my favorite Tucson restaurants and they outdo themselves every year during Sonoran Restaurant Week. Don't miss out on this year's menu!

Lori R.

Yelp
Been here before a few years ago and it was amazing, so I was so excited to meet a friend for breakfast. Our server acted like we were a bother and gave us one menu to share. He later brought another. Rushed us thru our brunch even tho there were a ton of tables and they weren't busy. Our food was so so. No pretty plates anymore. Looked like a Denny's plate with upscale prices, poor presentation. Maybe lunch might be better. Sorry to say this place has gone downhill except for the gift shop which is amazing! We love supporting local but we probably won't be back.
google avatar

Vangie T.

Yelp
Everything.! I always come here with out of towers. Bedt local vibe, service and food.
google avatar

Yelp
Such a lovely place with great food! The gift shop is small but has a good selection to find things that you didn't know you needed. I would definitely go back there for brunch and gift shopping.

Yelp
Awesome from start to finish Super tasty food Clean and friendly Busy and a bit noisy Great service I'd totally go back

Yelp
Their breakfasts are pretty straight forward. I opted for the no frills two egg breakfast with sausage patty and a delicious cinnamon roll pancake. Everything came out fairly quickly and the egg breakfast was as expected. The pancake was delicious. The pancake was the same size as a dinner plate and came with the cinnamon roll frosting drizzled on top. This pancake didn't need any syrup as it was sweet enough on its own. It was soft and buttery too, automatically becoming my favorite pancake. I had tried Blue Willow once before, during covid. I ordered takeout and I thoroughly enjoyed my quiche. It was cheesy and rich with a nice, flaky crust. I don't recall how the rest of my order tasted, but just like the cinnamon roll pancake, the quiche was a winner too. The food here is solid and the gift shop is truly an added bonus.

Yelp
We randomly decided to stop here for lunch on Saturday. It was 100 degrees out and I was hesitant to sit on the patio but even with the heat the fans plants and cover made it a welcoming environment.it was a tad busy when we arrived so we hung out in the gift shop before being seated. There are some very entertaining things in there if you look good place to buy gifts for people with a sense of humor in your life. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich on sourdough instead of the croissant that came with mixed greens and for me the unexpected star of this plate was the greens and the delicious house dressing (I almost asked for more dressing to go). The iced latte was on point and our server very attentive. I think k I may prefer this spot for lunch over breakfast... but I will be back to try more items.
google avatar

Ivana K.

Yelp
A staple breakfast spot. My favorite part has to be the amazing outdoor patio where you can sit. The food was very delicious, the offer the breakfast classics but also have some specialty items that were great! I had the blue willow special and was able to sub out one of the items. The side potatoes and tortilla were okay. I tried my friends sonoran benedict and it was delicious! I would probably order that next time. The latte was also okay but overall everything was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful, would definitely come back!
google avatar

Erika P.

Yelp
Cute spot with classic comfort eats done right. The burrito was MASSIVE but not overwhelming (I definitely ate it all). The chicken was cooked to absolute perfection as well. The salsa appeared house made and was delicious. Service was attentive and kind and the gift shop is dangerous in the best way with perfect gifts for friends... or yourself
google avatar

Yelp
Blue Willow has a Easy menu everything has always been delicious. I Got the chorizo and egg plenty of food. if you haven't tried, you should put it on your list. Check it out enjoy.

Yelp
Cute old house turned into a cute brunch spot. Delicious food: eggs Benedict are very good; pancakes are over-the-top big and delicious. Service is very friendly. Be sure to check out the fun gift shop.

Virginia L.

Yelp
Great dinner!! We got the chicken and waffle, poblano chicken, pesto panini and meatloaf. All amazing!!! The grilled poblano chicken was moist and the sauce was subtle but tasty
google avatar

Susan C.

Yelp
The service was friendly but so slow! It was not busy at all but we waited 15 minutes for a drink. I ordered a caprese sandwich that had a smear of regular mozzerell, alot of tomato and some spinich for $15. I asked for a box for leftovers and the check. I never saw my server again. I finally got up and left. I stopped in the gift shop and told the cashier what happened. She never even said she was sorry or offered to take any money off our bill. I would not recommend this place.
google avatar

Jacqueline P.

Yelp
This restaurant does not disappoint. I usually have breakfast but decided to try lunch. Ordered the Apple Harvest salad and it was delicious

Yelp
Great food, possibly the best I've had in a long time. Peaceful ambiance that refreshes the soul. Quick and prompt service.

Yelp
We've enjoyed Blue Willow since shortly having relocated to Tucson too many years ago. Blue Willow has stayed consistently good over the years. One of the best if not the best outdoor dining space in town. Comfortable outdoor dining in all sorts of Tucson weather. Typically we go for breakfast, but the lunch and dinner offerings are on point. Thanks Blue Willow!
google avatar

Gina H.

Yelp
I highly recommend you ordering this. Mac, made mine and it's hard to beat. It's much better than Starbucks, in my opinion.
google avatar

Kala J.

Yelp
Brunch on a Monday! We arrived around 1245 and werw told ten minutes but we were seated pretty quickly. Not sure what our servers name was but she was kind and things went pretty quickly. I ordered a peach rum punch, very curious driven, more of an oj taste than peach but delicious. I also got the Nutella French toast which could've used a banana but delicious, I think I would've liked it more with different bread. The ambiance was quiet, set inside of an older house but not run down. The seating was compact but still spacious somehow. I'd go back to try other things!
google avatar

Tammy K.

Yelp
I was having work done on my car so the shop said they'd drop me off at Blue Willow for breakfast. I'd never heard of this place before but now I'm so glad they made the recommendation. My breakfast (100% gluten free) was absolutely delicious. I would have loved eggs Benedict but their hollandaise is not gluten free, fyi. So I had a deconstructed Benedict; perfectly poached eggs, crispy ham, potatoes and gf toast. My cappuccino was so creamy and spot-on sweet without going overboard. I think my servers name was Reign and she was so attentive and I trusted her to serve me a non gluten breakfast. As a lucky celiac recipient, that is HUGE. One thing to note is that they are first come first serve for seating. They have a lot of tables, inside and out, but that's something to consider when going out to eat. Also, they have the cutest gift shop. Super unique cards, beautiful jewelry, kitchen gadgets, hilarious pottery and on and on. I'll be stopping by now and then just to see what's new. It's a really cute place all around. The shop staff were very nice and helpful. The chefs sent me exactly what i'd ordered and Reign hustled it right to me. I was one happy camper. I hope you have the same experience when you try them. And I do suggest you try them asap.

Yelp
Has some of the best food in town. Tostada is better than most Mexican restaurants, the lasagna Bolognese is better than any Italian restaurant. Meatloaf is wonderful! Highly recommended to all who want great food!!!
google avatar

Ashley G.

Yelp
Arrived at the restaurant and waited 45 mins for a table of two, which I expected. Luckily, the time was passed quickly by checking out the cute and unique items in the gift shop. I wanted to buy so many things but it added up quickly. Items averaged $25 a pop, give or take. I purchased prickly pear syrup, 2 mini jars of jelly, 2 boxes of candy, and some desert-themed stickers which all added up to $92. I was a little sad about that! We sat on the patio and it was a little hot but not too bad. I very much appreciated that it was enclosed so I didn't have to worry about bugs or other critters. We ordered the Tucson mimosas and I liked that we were given the champagne and juice so we could pour our own glasses to our liking. I ordered the breakfast burrito, which was absolutely delicious. It had shredded chicken (has other meat options), potatoes, cheddar, pinto beans (black beans also an option), and eggs. Salsa and sour cream complimented it very well. Soooo good. My friend had the bacon & egg jam breakfast sandwich with potatoes and she enjoyed it very much. Service was fine. Ambiance is lovely. It's safe to say I will never turn down an invitation to eat at Blue Willow!
google avatar

Beverly S.

Yelp
First off, the place was packed but thankfully they have ample parking. The second you walk in is the gift shop so if you don't have a reservation feel free to browse at their array of locally made products; from jewelry, mugs, home decor and snacks. There's no seating in the gift shop area. Second, they have indoor and outdoor seating once your table is available. I suggest making a reservation so you have a choice, we didn't so even though we asked for indoor seating we were asked if we could reconsider outdoor seating which we ended up taking. At the time the temperature was in the 90's so it was bearable; however I would not suggest outdoor seating because the numerous fans did not help. Other than that, the outdoor seating is spacious and very welcoming. Third, the food was amazing! They do have vegan and gluten free options. Lastly, definitely try out their drink selection because they offer prickly pear flavored drinks.

Yelp
Believe the hype- this place is delish. Classic breakfasts and some with a twist all in a vibey old house. Service is kind but very busy- but always worth the visit!

Sheila S.

Yelp
Went for brunch today and was very surprised to see that they are charging an extra $1.50 for egg dishes, pancakes, french toast and a slice of cake. I ordered the plain pancake with an egg on the side. I was charged an extra $1.50 for the pancake and extra $1.50 for the one egg! The food and service were fine - but we won't be back due to the crazy surcharge.

Yelp
Love this place and the staff is genuinely nice. Has a mom & pop feel, like you are eating at someone's home. We have had breakfast a few times & dinner service. The patio is beautiful & quaint. Support local businesses over chains!
