Bluebei Sushi & Grill

Just moved into the neighborhood and wanted to find a good sushi restaurant and found it immediately. The sushi here is tasty and fresh. Everything I’ve had here has been fantastic. Portions are big and prices are fair. Daily happy hour menu as well.

We are from out of town and stumbled upon Bluebei. Sure glad we did, the food was delicious! We ordered the avocado salad, parm fries, deep fried California roll, teriyaki chicken and also the spicy sesame chicken. The avocado salad was loaded with avocado I was shocked and it was only $8.95. The spicy sesame chicken so nice and crispy with a very spicy tangy sauce. Service was awesome! We will be back for sure.

The waiters were friendly enough The food portion for price is okay. The spicy garlic edamame was fantastic The baked mussels were okay at 4 for $9 The chicken wings were underwhelming too at 4 for $11 I probably wouldn't come back, as the happy hour wasn't that cheap

Truly authentic Japanese cuisine! The sushi featured high-quality fish, reminiscent of the fresh flavors back home in Hawaii. The tuna melted in my mouth, and the yellowtail was incredibly fresh. The tempura was perfectly crispy—light and golden. We also enjoyed the spicy miso soup, which was packed with bold, comforting flavors. The hot sake was the perfect companion during this chilly season. This place is a gem in the neighborhood, offering a calming atmosphere and a fantastic dining experience. 🤤

I recently dined at Bluebei Sushi and Grill in Las Vegas and was pleasantly delighted by the experience! The interior has a slightly upscale decor with both tables and semi-booths. They have a sushi bar offering a front-row seat to watch the skilled chefs artfully prepare each dish. The menu is a fusion of traditional and innovative dishes, featuring a wide variety of sushi and grill items. Each sushi roll I tried was a fresh and full of flavor, highlighting the quality of ingredients being used. The grill items were equally impressive, cooked to perfection with a balance of spices and sauces that enhanced the natural flavors.The serving dishes are also quite nice. Pricing at Bluebei Sushi and Grill is reasonable considering the quality of the food and the overall dining experience. It's a great value for money, especially in a city like Las Vegas where dining can often be quite expensive. The service was great, our server was knowledgeable about the menu and attentive without being intrusive. Overall, Bluebei Sushi a solid option for anyone looking for sushi in Las Vegas.

The restaurant was clean and has nice decor. The sushi was delicious. The tuna was melt in your mouth. The rolls were amazing. The portions are large so use caution when order. Will definitely eat here again.

If you are a sushi lover, this place is las vegas is a must to visit. The friendliness of the staff is very important and every roll that our table requested was excellent! Mexico City roll was one of my favorites!

Great menu with a very generous happy hour menu that starts at 3pm every day! I love all the different specialty rolls and I also noticed they didn't over do it on the rice for the rolls. Some places skimp out and add more rice. This place does not! Service was great and very attentive. I would highly recommend this place even during lunch. They have a great lunch menu as well

Really kind ownership and service, but I rarely go here since the restaurant is not AYCE. In my opinion, its not worth the cost if it's not all you can eat. I usually get their bento deals during lunch to go and it's delicious every time. Comes with miso soup and a salad. I do wish their packaging was more sustainable (comes in styrofoam). Ambiance is modern and clean. No major complaints here.

Called to order for pick up - they answered quickly and I didn't have to hold for long. Gave us a 40 min estimate and food was ready when we got there 40 min later. The food was packaged nicely with the sauces next to the actual rolls so we didn't have to guess which sauce goes where which was awesome. All the rolls tasted fresh and held up well.

We love Bluebei. It is by far the best sushi restaurant on this side of town. Nice ambiance and great service. Some of our favorites are the zesty salmon roll, sashimi salad, and togarashi shrimp among others.

This is our go to spot for sushi takeout. I highly recommend coming here because the food is absolutely amazing. The red devil sushi roll is our favorite and we get it every time. The service is always some of the nicest that we experience. They even remember us each time we call in our order because they recognize our names.

I decided to try this sushi place off blue diamond road near our place. This place is great. The fish was fresh and the price is reasonable for the quality of fish you're getting. The server was very nice and patient with us looking through the menu because we came during happy hour at 3 pm so we're looking at both menus. The service was good with bringing us drinks, refilling our hot tea pot ,and bringing any sauces we wanted. It was a cozy feeling inside with nice decor. Although we came during happy hour, we ordered from the main menu as the food there all sounded amazing. I will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu. There was nothing we didn't like so far.

Another Valentine's Day Date at BlueBei, and not let down at all. Totally satisfied. If you're in the Mountain's Edge area, you really should check it out. We'll be back again.

This is one of my favorite places to go for good quality sushi and I'm not feeling like going to an AYCE place. This is a La carte. The inside is very clean, spacious, and well decorated. The service is top notch and the food is amazing. I love their otoro sushi! They have a large variety in their menu and there's something for everyone. Their cocktails are good too.

This is a cool little spot. It is not all you can eat. We ended up spending between 150-200 for 3 adults and 2 kids of ages 8-9. Service was ok it left a little to be desired, though it was efficient. The sashimi was good with nice thick pieces. With the butter salmon belly. It has a pretty extensive happy hour and happy hour menu. Casual by nature limited alcohol but they do serve Sakè.

The location is great with plenty of parking. The sushi was fresh and delicious. The ambiance was great. We had such friendly service and everything tasted fresh. The service was quick and I'd definitely recommend this place. We just love sushi.

When it comes to sushi restaurants, I'm a tough nut to crack. I'm all about quality over quantity. But guess what? I found a gem that never disappoints - introducing Bluebei Sushi & Grill. From excellent service to a delightful family atmosphere, every visit to Bluebei Sushi & Grill is an adventure for my discerning palate. And let's not forget the happy hour menu that had me smiling! Ate here for lunch on Sunday right before EDC. It was the only thing I ingested all day, no alcohol or anything else. I had the WORST FOOD POISONING OF MY LIFE from the food here. I should have known because I came during lunch rush hour and was the only one sitting in the restaurant. I threw up for 9 hours and could not enjoy my EDC. I wasted an entire trip because of this place. Will never come back!

Stopped in with my wife for a quick bite, and WOW, just WOW! Service- EXCELLENT. Food- FRESH & EXCELLENT. Ambiance- Clean, romantic/chill/Modern vibe. We live on the opposite side of town and I guarantee we will be coming back At least once a week for now on! We highly recommend this place!

I just wanted to update this review with the new items that I tried. As always, the service is amazing here, the sushi bar was a little backed up, but our server was nice enough to let us know. It's never a problem because the food is so great. I noticed it was more busy than usual. if you know you're coming at a busy time, I would make a reservation but the way it is always worth it too.

This place does a lot of things right but also has some serious flaws for a Japanese restaurant. I really wanted to give it 3.5 stars but alas there is no option for that on Yelp. Service, cleanliness and ambiance were all good. The restaurant is impeccably clean and the service was prompt and courteous. They're not bad for local sushi if you don't want to drive further. The best items they make are their fried items. All of their tempura items are fresh, crispy and well done. Unfortunately their sushi rice is terrible. Maybe it was on off day but it was mushy and had no texture or flavor. The rolls had way too much rice and the texture was so poor. Kind of hard to rate well when a sushi restaurant would serve such low quality rice when anyone could tell it was not done right.

This is an all star restaurant! Food is great and the service is impeccable! Barbara and the rest of the team are very welcoming. This is our family's favorite Japanese restaurant!

So good!! The fish is super fresh. I ordered an amaebi, it was served my favorite way! Fried head & tobiko on the shrimp meat. Crispy rice with tuna 10/10. The spicy tuna tasted like it had a touch of sesame oil in it. delicious!! My kids had the chicken Katsu. Their bento boxes are such a deal. You get tempura and a cali or spicy tuna roll, salad and soup! Great service!

the food at this restaurant was amazing!! so fresh and definitely reasonably priced. the service was average, not great or awful. the atmosphere was just incredibly dark which is my only critique. however i definitely recommend you go try it!! definitely will be returning soon.

Wow, what an amazing experience! The service was impeccable and the sushi was absolutely delicious. It was our first time at this restaurant and the waitress was incredibly sweet and recommended the Mountains Edge roll, which was fantastic. I brought my son here to celebrate his birthday and the staff went above and beyond by serving him ice cream and singing to him. It was truly a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent food and great service.

Bluebei has great sushi options and some of my favorite rolls in the southwest part of Vegas. The service is great, and it's nice to eat in or takeout. I love the Knight roll, it's my go-to, but most of the ones we've tried are great. The chocolate cake is delicious too! Bluebei is a casual spot for a good meal.

Every table service restaurant and pub in the Las Vegas area should serve water, in two different sized glasses, to seated customers. It's 102 degrees outside. Small glasses to those who prefer ( need) a sip. Large glasses for the absolutely parched. The food here is freshly prepared, if not painstakingly prepared. It is truly fine, with excellent service. Although it's a favorite haunt for neighborhood and local business people, it's worthy of being a destination eatery. Clean. Cool. Chill. Perfect to escape the heat. PLUS outstanding eats! Quick and efficient friendly service. Easy free parking. The matcha creme brule desert was remarkable. It's a tough call, but so strong a flavor is hard to pair: here they offset it with a vanilla ice cream, whipped creme, and sliced strawberry. Will definitely be back!

It's been a while since I stopped by. Took this opportunity to stop by this great gem in the Southwest. Same amazing staff and equally delicious food. While they do have TV for sports, I was able to enjoy my time there with my family without the sometimes loud but fun sports fans. Their windows are well tinted to keep the overly bright sunny days out of the restaurant. Definitely check it out if you want great sushi or Japanese meals. Yum!

IMO some of the freshest best fish hands down in the city. Even when compared to the fine dining on the strip this place puts up an amazing fight. My favorites here are the crispy rice with spicy tuna and couples role. Nigiri is such amazing quality!

MY FAVORITE SUSHI SPOT IN VEGAS!!! 1. the service is AMAZING! the staff is amazing, accommodating, and sweet! the remember our names and our orders, which is so nice (we are also regular regulars lol) 2. sushi is sooo sooo good! there isnt one thing i haven't tried on the menu and there isnt one thing i don't like on the menu lol 3. some of my favorites are: miso black cod, yellowtail sashimi, shishito peppers, albacore crispy onion, spicy tuna crispy rice 10/10 recommend.

I like the raw bar options the most. My favorite (if I had to choose) is the albacore carpaccio but the other rawbar options are very fresh and yummy as well. I love their seaweed salad but I didn't care for the cucumber salad (it was more pickled than fresh). My other choices that i will order again is the Sunset roll and tuna with crispy rice. Its amazing that they have their happy hour menu everyday and from 3pm to closing time.

I've been coming here since the opening in 2019 and being all of my family/ friends. This restaurant is such a gem, great service and delicious fresh food. The restaurant is always clean and neat! Elana is awesome! She always is the sweetest!

Limited choice of fish but they are fresh than other places for sashimi or rolls.. Been here multiple times and never had an issue with the food that we ordered and staff are great...

Bluebei is such a special treat. We decided to eat here today instead of cooking a traditional Thanksgiving meal yesterday. We had the Shoyu ramen, the salmon bento, the sushi combination and the double chocolate gelato for dessert. Plenty of leftovers for a takeout box for treats for later tonight!!

We ate here after a day of exploring Red Rocks, hungry and thirsty! The ambiance was excellent, the server was attentive and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Of all the dinner places we ate at off-strip, this was easily the best. I would come back here!

Love this place, my spot for sushi in vegas. My husband doesn't like sushi, but he likes this place and the sake. They make the rolls with soy paper if you ask them to.

Bluebei Sushi & Grill is in a great shopping center that is in my neighborhood, and is still evolving. It has been fun to see the newest restaurants opening up here, from one side of the block to the other. Bluebei Sushi & Grill, is one of these great restaurants found in the Mountain's Edge Marketplace. I came in for happy hour yesterday and was very pleased with everything that I ordered. One of my favorite simple dishes is Gyudon and a mini bowl of it was offered on the happy hour menu. It was very tasty and quite generous for a mini bowl. I also ordered the Ultimate Tuna Roll which was spicy and delicious. If you like spicy tuna rolls, I recommend it. Although I was full, I still ordered the Rock Shrimp which came out very fresh and hot. It was crispy and tender, with a nice creamy lemon aioli. I also enjoyed the comfortable and sleek atmosphere at Blubei. The service was very friendly, quick and helpful. I do believe this might become another favorite neighborhood Happy Hour place for me!

a low-key yet classy spot for delicious sushi. the servers are always so kind to us and i enjoy the stores in the shopping center as well! located in a very nice area.

I'll start by saying I have never actually step foot at this restaurant. We order takeout and my husband usually picks it up. This has been our go to sushi since 2021. The sushi here is soooooo good, so fresh and it's doesn't smell gross. We love how consistent they are with the food. Just give it a try .

This is our families favorite sushi place in Las Vegas. Always a great experience when we eat here. Awesome staff and excellent pricing. Always clean and always has fresh delicious seafood.

I came for my 40th birthday lunch with my sisters from out of town. I have Celiac and the server said they could make my food GF. I ordered and then was told after the fact that I couldn't have the salad or miso soup. It just kept going on like this. Eventually I did get to eat a small part of the food I had ordered but was still charged the full price without apologies or substitutions. I didn't make a huge stink since I wanted to enjoy my day but the service was abysmal and I haven't ever been back. Lots more places to go to (I love Sawa Sushi) that are so kind and accommodating. I've been to restaurants that's food is so good and hard to find you put up with terrible service. But this isn't that special. I'd look elsewhere! I only chose it because it was close to home.

Best sushi I've had in town for a reasonable price. Service is always good and there is a calm low key ambiance.

We were really looking for an AYCE sushi place. Our friend mentioned bluebei but we got lost in communication if it was AYCE. But we ended up staying to give it a try. It had great reviews about service. Which was true. The servers especially the 2 ladies that helped us were really sweet and friendly. Food though was just ok. Not anything special in terms of flavor and uniqueness. All the rolls we ordered had the spicy Mayo sauce all over it, so they all tasted the same. We ordered the calamari which also lacked flavor. My rating is a 3.5-4. It seemed pretty busy being that there really isn't any good sushi spot in the area. Fish was fresh, I do have to give them that. But id rather go to Sapporo revolving sushi if anything in comparison to price and flavor.

Really enjoyed our lunch here. Had tuna sashimi. I had chicken fried rice. My wife had the Jackpot which had a few different fish on it. All good was delicious. Will definitely come back to try other things on the menu that sounded really good. Service was good and quick.

Oh man! I love this place and will always love this place. Normally my boyfriend and I come for happy hour but today we spent Valentine's Day here and ordered all the things! We ordered so much food and it was allllll amazing! Please see all of the photos for deliciousness. Our favorite roll was the Couple Roll. It really changed up the flavor profile of the whole meal. It was wetter via a tart "Screaming O" sauce. What a delicious flavor! To make things even more special, they started the meal with a complimentary glass of champagne. The waiter was the best, if you stop in make sure to ask for Jun, he was very attentive and kind. Nothing we ordered was forgotten or wrong. Perfect meal. I can't wait to come back!
