The Best Restaurants in Newark, New Jersey | Eater NY

"Rashena Burroughs, a lifelong vegan and serial food entrepreneur, believes urban communities should have more healthy (and delicious) food options. This cafe is the centerpiece of her four-storefront “healthful compound” on a single block in the Central Ward. There’s also a vegan dessert bar turned breakfast and lunch stop (Zucchini Bar); plant-based ice cream parlor (Magic Cones); and Aqua Phit, a personal fitness training studio with a water bar and a menu of plant-based sushi and raw foods. While each is creative and delicious, go for the barbecue mushrooms and kamut pasta salad at Blueberry for dinner, followed by a Magic Cones tamarind ice cream sundae." - Hank Zona

I have been to this restaurant a few times but this is my first review. This is a vegan cuisine restaurant with a Caribbean flare because they have a Caribbean chef. They always have a menu of the day that they abide by and the earlier you go the better because they will have more options. I ordered over the phone and my meal was ready when I got there. The service was pretty good today. There is only street parking and beware of the parking signs. The food here is pretty much on the pricey side. I paid $15 for the kamut, vegetables, and vegan patty. When I got home and ate the food was pretty good.

Google
I can’t begin to describe this place. I had such an amazing time, the food was delicious, and on top of all this the service was phenomenal. I’d like to thank the Chef Ginseng (apologies for the misspelling) for dishing me out an amazing brunch and Francisco in the cashier who educated me on the products and food I was ordering. Class A work, Newark now has a new hub for us vegans ! Keep up the good work guys 😄 thank you again!

Burro fries and mushrooms 🔥🔥 the coco mango and lime drinks are refreshing too. If you want to place a large order make sure to give them a heads up!

I got a smoothie, and tastes good. Nice people running the store

I enjoyed the Watermelon juice so much I went back and ordered another, along with the passion fruit juice. The juices tasted refreshing and all authentic. Just what I needed for a burst of energy.

So glad to have made it here!! Vegan is one thing...alkaline vegan options is a hard find!! Had an event in NJ so we decided to stop here afterwards. Staff was friendly...we came close to closing time & managed by sheer minutes to snag the last two BBQ wild rice platters (my friend inhaled his lol & went in for another but it was sold out). Also ordered smoothies & drinks: strawberry breeze smoothie, coconut mango smoothie, Sorrell (not overly sweetened), and an orange looking drink my friend had that I'm blanking on the name right now. The platter was yummy: mushrooms were crispy (almost like general tso's) and the bbq sauce was on point (I have not tasted a better alkaline bbq sauce), when a spot gives me wild rice and not a wild rice blend I know they love me haha , chickpeas weren't overly seasoned & the salad was a refreshing balance. Smoothie WAS YUM!! We also went next door to Zucchini Bar (their sister store) for a few desserts: a few slices of the apple caramel "cheesecake", and the bean pie. Everything was great, especially the bean pie which reminded me of a delicious sweet potato pie! Worth the money (quality ingredients like wild rice/walnuts/speciality ancient grain flours aren't cheap), though would be an occasional treat for me as it could quickly get out of hand haha. Loved it! Also worth noting, Blueberry Cafe is more alkaline (Dr. Sebi food recs) based while zucchini bar tends to have ingredients that fall in line with vegan lifestyle but aren't necessarily alkaline. Still amazing. Plus, for outdoor seating. Went back on a sunday 8/2022 and had the nacho plate and seamoss bean pie. Delicious!!

Google
This Black female owned business was an amazing find. As a plant-based eater, it is very difficult for me to find healthy and filling food options, that are also delicious. The staff were also amazing - talk about customer service! The four workers today, sang, laughed, prepared food and delivered excellence with a smile! I will be back again and again. Highly recommend!

Google
Loved it! Great atmosphere, nice vibe, people. Food was deliciously great! I had the Dr sebis pita, soup and Blue berry bless small smoothie. I'll definitely go back more often. They also offer meal plans!

Yelp
There's a whole block of vegan spots here in Newark: juice, meals, snacks, ice cream, and more. All 100% vegan and healthy! I had the black rice and "fried fish" (made with banana) and was totally blown away. Worth a trip :)

Yelp
The service is great they are nice and friendly and the food is AMAZING, prices are reasonable considering how expensive real Whole Foods cost.

Yelp
Wanted to eat healthy today so I headed to this little spot and it was packed it's a small hole in the wall type place and judging by how many people were lining up I knew it had to be good !!! I got wild rice chickpea patty with salad and it was delicious!!! I also picked up some all natural toothpaste and hair grease for my granddaughter!!!

Yelp
I went there last week, great customer service from the cashier but the food was horrible. I got food poisoning and have been throwing up for two days. Never again.

Yelp
I really wanted to try this place out. But there is no notice on the site, any pages, or profiles that you're not open on Sundays. Well it is Sunday. And alas...they are not open. Business please - I need y'all to be open on the days that you state that you're open, please.

Yelp
Great service, fantastic scratch-made foods and drinks. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff! Zucchini Bar next door also a must-try!

Yelp
After celebrating our birthdays and hungover, my non-vegan friends all said, "this is EXACTLY WHAT WE NEEDED." As a vegan, you always feel a lot of pressure bringing friends to a unfamiliar vegan restaurant, but the FOOD DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The HEALTHY INGREDIENTS on the menu, the FLAVOR-BLAST marinating the food and the SATISFACTION of FULLNESS left us all happy. My friend loved the food so much, we actually went back the next day! 100% Vegan. PS: No indoor seating allowed

Yelp
Wild Black rice and Fried mushrooms are my new go to!! Absolutely delicious and alkaline eating. They make this awesome red sauce that they smother their mushrooms with and it is such a great balance of sweet, savory and earthy flavors. They sell Sea Moss gel as well, cash only but a good size for $17.

Yelp
Great alkaline vegan food, one of the best days to come in is on fridays. You have To grab the red pasta and a dessert from next door.

Yelp
Got their strawberry crush smoothie and Friday's pasta with the red sauce. The smoothie was very delicious and refreshing! The pasta comes in this very cute wooden bowl when you dine in and it's huge! I could barely finish half the portion. The red sauce in the pasta is delicious! Free WiFi and plenty of plugs at the bar table. The aroma from the cooking fills the place and it's a nice homey environment with lots of wall art. Don't forget to leave some cash tips since there is no place to add them if you use a credit card.

Yelp
I love supporting small businesses. I'm clearly not vegan, but if there were more options like Blueberry Cafe I'd readily give up meat more often. The desserts are outstanding, particularly the cheesecake. I'd challenge anyone to tell the difference in a blind taste test. With such limited healthy options in Newark, let's make sure this business thrives.

Yelp
What every vegan craves for... I would definitely recommend to my vegan/plant based friends!

Yelp
WOW! Please Please Please try this food at least once. You are worth it and your body deserves it. It is amazing and I am so excited and blessed to have found an alkaline restaurant near the Newark Liberty Airport. I had the Taco Tuesday special with three tacos that were so tasty that I overstuffed. The walnut meat and the black beans were seasoned to perfection. The taco shell was crunchy and held up. The portion size was more than plentiful. The price was more than fair for the quality and nutritious value. I had the watermelon juice and it was refreshing. This establishment is not designed to eat in for more than six people but it appears as though most of the orders are carry out. They also have a vegan cafe, dessert shop and ice cream shop next door. I passed on dessert this time because I was overstuffed and quite satisfied. Every day they have a set menu with specials, so the menu rotates daily. I am excited to get a lunch on Wednesday for my flight and looking forward to trying something different. I could eat here everyday. I am sure Dr. Sebi would be proud.

Yelp
This place was highly recommended. I was super excited to finally eat out and have a good vegan meal. Food was great! I received a warm, friendly welcome. But within 20 minutes of sitting there, while STILL eating, I felt like I was being rushed to finish since it was towards the end of their day. The guy was anxiously wiping down the tables, sweeping the floor around me & moving chairs around. I became really uncomfortable and almost felt like I over stayed my welcome in "his house...". I'm not sure if I would ever return since my first visit was a bit unpleasant, which is unfortunate since there's not too many vegan spots in the surrounding area. Despite the last few minutes of chowing down my food, overall experience was good, wished it was better.

Yelp
This review is for both the Zucchini Bar and Blueberry Cafe. On September 3rd, I ordered from Blueberry Cafe Juice Bar via Ubereats after a friend's rave review. I ordered the Alkaline Power Platter + Coco Mango Smoothie. It was delicious! Super dense and nutrient packed. Yesterday, I was in the neighborhood so I decided to stop by to check out the store and order another Alkaline Power Platter. There were 3 gentlemen talking with their masks down hovered around the counter when I entered. I hesitantly approached the counter although the employee behind the register waved me to come closer. I told him I was trying to social distance and didnt want to walk in the middle of their convo. They made way for me to stand along the long edge of the counter 6 feet away from them. The store has a nice selection of herbs and grains by the pound. I was disappointed they were sold out of most of the menu but I got some squash soup (which was bland), a bag of pink Himalayan sea salt and strawberry smoothie for $27. I went next store to the Zucchini bar while the gentleman made my smoothie. At the Zucchini Bar there was a young lady taking her time to assist an elder customer. She did not bother to greet me when I entered which was not a huge deal since that gave me a little time to review the chalk board menu by the door. I was standing 6 feet behind the older woman placing her order when another woman came in with a stack of papers covering her mouth and nose. I was uncomfortable by her inefficient face covering so I moved further into the store. The young lady's coworker stepped into the corner by the menu to take a personal call with his mask pulled down below his chin. The young employee eventually addressed me and asked what I would like to order I asked if she still had donuts she said no they are sold out so I told her I would like a slice of blueberry cheese cake and mango cheese cake. I waited about 10 minutes for her to finish helping the older lady. While I waited the woman with the paper cover her mouth opened the door to cough outside. I should have left then but I stayed. When I got to the counter I added a Kale salad to my order and the young lady told me just so you know we stop serving food at 4pm. I told her it would've been nice had she mentioned that when I came in the door and was studying the menu. She proceeded to go back and forth with me and say well since I initially asked about pastries she didnt think it was necessary to mention any other food items. CUSTOMER SERVICE NOTE: If you greet your customers as soon as the enter your establishment and ask is this your first time here? You open an opportunity to engage and educate your customers on your menu and policies. Back to the review...I also asked the young lady was her coworker suppose to be working while he was taking a personal call in the corner with his mask down? She said yea but it's okay. I said no it's not okay because he could've been helping me while I was waiting for you help the older lady. I also mentioned the woman with the paper over her face and the young lady said that was the owner. Which then totally made sense as to why the customer service was so poor. The owner did not present as an owner and was not even following state law to protect herself, her employees and customers by wearing proper face coverings. She was in the store trying to order food for herself and acting confused that so many items she wanted were sold out. I paid $33 for 2 slices of cheese cake and a Kale salad. The blueberry cheese cake was the last and I should have left it there. There was no graham cracker crust, the blueberry gel was nasty and the cake was dry. The kale salad was basic. The mango cheese cake was the best - fresh, moist, perfectly sweet graham cracker crust. Overall Im very disappointed that I spent $60 between these two establishments. The Zucchini Bar has an even larger selection of fresh herbs so I will likely go back to continue to support black owned business and have a source for the herbs that I use, however it's not likely that I'll ever buy food from either place.

Yelp
Really good vegan food and all around chill vibe. Get an herbal tea next door at the Zucchini Bar, and then some vegan ice cream at Magic Cones....all next to each other! Awesome block in Newarks West Ward.

Yelp
Dr. Sebi approved vegan meals! The quality, taste, and portions are 5 stars. I highly recommend this place for people who are transitioning away from meat. Their meals are tasty, fulfilling, and will leave without the empty feeling of having a meatless meal.

Yelp
So seriously disappointed! First, my clothes still stink to high heaven from waiting for 45 minutes in a totally unventilated restaurant. It's unbelievable. All the smoke from the kitchen pours into the seating area. Got home, had to throw everything in the laundry. Second, how does it take 45 minutes to put some mushroom on a bun and a bowl of pasta? How? And lastly, how do you figure, for the small portions you serve, that a sandwich should cost $12? A soup, a sandwich and a small bowl of pasta cost $41!!! That's freaking ridiculous! The food is totally forgettable, meh. You think, by the descriptions, that you're going to get something totally delicious, but nope. NOT! Don't waste your time or money. I wanted to love them, I really did. But you took my money, never told me I'd be there waiting 45 minutes for a sandwich, and then served me mediocre fare at best. The soup was not soup, it was broth. Not even on Broadway in Manhattan, is anyone charging $12 for a cup of soup. It's so watery, has no substance, and very bland. The mushroom pasta is just a small portion of rotini with a few sautéed mushrooms on top. Sigh, so disappointed!

Yelp
My blender broke and I needed somewhere local I can get a good smoothie. I am so thankful to find this spot. The smoothie options were great and I also was able to stumble across a great food spot next door. My new blender finally came but I will surely be back.

Yelp
I checked out the reviews on yelp, trying to be on my meat free wave, and came across this place. It took a little while for me to order as it was a Friday afternoon and somewhat crowded. I got to the register and ordered this pasta bowl with red sauce (fennel sausage) as well a quinoa soup (they give samples) and went and sat down. I really do like the fact that they bring your order to you and allow you to pay after. I was given a glass of alkaline water and utensils as I pulled my laptop out to utilize the free WiFi and get some work done. Enter stage right: this pasta bowl. Me: umm excuse me miss Her: Yes, is everything okay?? Me: are you sure this is vegan?? Her: Yes it is. Good Lord, that bowl will make anyone a believer. It was so good, I really thought she was lying. I had to put my laptop away to savor this bowl. I had enough to take home and make another meal out of and that with my soup, was a winner! I was at home eating that pasta cold out of the fridge. Now, I must say, this place is small and expensive. I think I spent about 25 dollars but every single bite was worth it.

Yelp
Just stopped in and saw they had quinoa cactus soup and mushroom hoagies. I tried both. Fresh ingredients, great staff... and the food..... PERFECT !!! VERY PROFESSIONAL. Dont give them a hard time if you gotta wait. Magic like this doesn't happen instantaneously. This ain't McDonalds baby! Thanks Chef.

Yelp
They actually had vegan being pie and the first ingredient was sea moss. I had to try it and it was very delicious. Wow something super healthy and decadent at the same time I will go back.

Yelp
Whether you're a vegan or just enjoy a soulful, delicious meal you must try Blueberry Cafe. I was complaining about there being no good vegan restaurants in Newark so a friend directed my attention to the restaurant. My first visit a few days ago I ordered the teriyaki bean burger on a zucchini wrap and it was literally finger licking good. I ordered the quinoa soup to go and ate it later for dinner. Not only was it delicious but it was seriously fulfilling!!!! I topped it off with a zucchini muffin that was beyond superb!!! I didn't even feel guilty about demolishing the entire muffin in one sitting!!! I came back and ordered the Friday Special... the spaghetti bowl in red sauce with garden veggies... to my surprise, they sat this oversized bowl of spaghetti in front of me and I fell in love at first bite!!! I couldn't finish the entire bowl but it was great to have enough left for a complete meal for dinner... and of course I did not leave without another (2) zucchini muffins. #iminlove #bestveganspot #mymewfavoriterestaurant

Yelp
A sister establishment of the Zucchini bar next door. We went in here first, but most of the soups and salads were all sold out for the day, so we had to go next door instead hoping to fill our tummies. I appreciate that they opened a vegetarian and vegan place. And I look forward to being back again to update this review.

Yelp
Imagine my surprise when a bright vegan place popped up right in the middle of countless fast food joints, fried chicken shacks, and bodegas, Though I myself am a carnivore at heart, the ability to actually get healthy food at lunch was a treat so and I have patronized Blueberry on many occasions when I feel I need to re energize my body and get some good nutrients in me. Now as an outsider to the vegan trend looking in, I have to say that even after eating there a handful of times, the ingredients that go into my wraps and pasta sometimes sound more like a chemistry experiment then actual food; hemp seeds, spelt pasta, raw seeds and chickpea flower.. Yet regardless of what parts of nature might be floating around in my lunch, the taste is really good and convinces me that other places just are not making vegan right if the potential for how good this food can taste is shown from this place. Yet there are a couple of drawbacks to the wonderful food that you get. Since everything is literally made from scratch and there is only one person behind the counter, be prepared to wait a long time to get your food. You also might be really stick shocked when you see your food and then hear the price for what you are paying. A wrap that is no bigger then my two hands laid out finger to finger runs you 12 bucks. and soups and smoothies that look like kids sizes start at $6-$8 dollars. While the intent for what this place is trying to do for community and your body is there, be prepared to pay a pretty penny if you are trying to as Spike Lee would quote "do the right thing"..

Yelp
Am I the last to know this was here?!? Anyone, vegan or not, would like the flavorful foods at the Zucchini Bar, Blueberry Cafe, and Water Bar at 547 Central Ave., Newark. Yesterday I had a delicious Sebian breakfast (zucchini pancakes and hash) there and went home with a gallon of basil-lime 9.0 alkaline water! My only criticism is that for my schedule, 11:00 AM is late to open for breakfast. To beat traffic into and out of Newark it would be nice if they opened at 8:00 AM.
google avatar

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Authentic healthy food that nourishes your soul and body...and delicious! Always stop in when I'm in the area. Don't pass up the chance to try it.
google avatar

Sheree W.

Yelp
I vowed to come here when I came home to visit my Mother over the weekend and they, along with The Zucchini Bar, were on my list. I stopped next door to order pancakes and hash and then came over here for a Sebi inspired smoothie. I opted for the Banana one, can't think of the name right now. I saw people getting a taste of the quinoa soup so I decided to try it as well. I ordered a small to go. As others have stated, they definitely do not have the energy or level of enthusiasm as the guys next door. However, I wasn't there to make friends and they served me well, so I have zero complaints. The smoothie and soup were both very good. The cost, $14. So yes, that was pricey for just a smoothie and small soup. But I don't get home often and when I do, I tend to splurge one way or the other. I'd rather spend the money on healthy food than something that will make me sick later.

Yelp
Very good vegetarian Caribbean restaurant . Customer service is immaculate , but if you want to save money then you better head elsewhere. That's if you eat a lot like I do
google avatar

Alana P.

Yelp
I took away one star, and here is why: It is no mistake that this establishment is owned my brothers and sisters from the Caribbean. And since there appears to be a connection between them and the folks next door at the Zucchini Bar, I will make sure to say the following: The customer service and professionalism is better over at The Zucchini Bar than it is at the Blueberry Cafe. I am Afro-Caribbean, so in no way am I bashing this establishment. This is more of a constructive criticism than anything, so that they can see how they are being viewed: Many Caribbean restaurants in the US lack proper customer service and knows how to relate to their customers on a professional basis. Your establishment is based in the US, NOT "back home." Level up your customer service skills. It makes me wonder if other ethnic groups other than those of African descendants walks in, if the level of customer service will be much better. Here in the US, your business will plummet if it lacks effective customer service. Be nice and professional regardless of who walks through your doors. People can sense when you are being an arrogant asshole. The food is very good, that is one thing for sure. Wait- time can be a challenge depending on what you're ordering, but that can be understood as what you are getting is usually organic and prepared from scratch. It is a nice little spot, and I would hate to see them fall because of shitty customer service. Improve that, and you guys are set!

Yelp
Bluberry Cafe is located in Newark NJ It's a nice small cozy spot with colorful artwork and the staff are friendly. I love that some items on the menu are DR.SEBI inspired. That's a plus for me. They have a few herbs/teas avaliable for purchase. The prices are ok I like the build your own daily specials. My zucchini Portobello wrap was prepared on the spot. They are open to questions and suggestions...to mine at least Go to: ILOVEBLUEBERRYCAFE.COM for the MENU
google avatar

Kandiss H.

Yelp
If you are looking for a place that carries alkaline 'Dr. Sebi' inspired dishes , then look no further. Things I've purchased here include: dried irishmoss, fonio, baby bananas and teff.
google avatar

Tiffani T.

Yelp
This is my issue with this establishment..... I have to call before I go to make sure they actually have food. They open at 9am and I call to see what's on the menu and they say they aren't opening until 11am. I don't even know how that's possible. For the love of Jesus I just want them to be professional because the food is actually good.
google avatar

Yelp
One of the most delcious plant based dining experinces you can have in the east coast. The Mushroom Pita is cooked to perfection with the crispy mushrooms dressed with an amazing sweet sauce. They serve alkaline water also they have an amazing organic pastry store right next door. If you love delicious food thatbis healthy for you, I highly recommend this experience.

Yelp
Went to this place yesterday and I must say I was impressed! Had the wild rice platter with squash, black beans and fried mushrooms and it was amazing! I'll definitely be returning!
google avatar

Yelp
When I worked in Newark, I came here everyday! Breakfast, lunch and dinner won't disappoint. The prices may seem a bit but the food is Nourishing for the body and super filling! I love supporting Blueberry when I am in the area and I appreciate the consciousness surrounding food and community that they uphold.
google avatar

Diana B.

Yelp
I truly wish I could have supported this business. The food smelled and looked awesome however I stood in line waiting to place my order for 10 minutEs with no acknowledgement from the young lady behind the counter. Her friend walked in, skipped the line and was immediately greeted and attended to. I'll keep my little coins.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm trying to transition into the vegan world so I tried this place out. Everything was great no complaints ... keep up the good work

Yelp
One of Top 5 Vegan Restaurant in the whole Tri-State area. I've been coming here since they first opened and a lot of the little issues they had have somewhat been fixed. From Ventilation issues, leaving smelling like food to the portion size issues people spoke on and i must say i'm impressed with the way things have been progressing. My ONLY issue is the fact that i feel its time some new vegan options are added to the menu. Other than that, please feel free to visit and enjoy some great Vegan food, you won't be dissapointed.

Yelp
$9 for plain coffee! Whaat!? I asked if this was a typo, and they said that's just what a large costs. My large coffee was in what looked like a 16oz mug. Theres no reason for plain coffee to be that expensive. On a related note, there were no prices listed anywhere, so there was no way for me to know what I was getting in to!How much are the milkshakes then!!!?On top of that, the service was sorely lacking. They opened at 11 and were still setting up at 1230pm. We got conflicting information on whether to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. Staff brought out food without any utensils...to everyone that was seated in the restaurant. We all waited over 10 minutes for utensils. I like to support vegan restaurants, but don't see myself returning here. Food was mediocre.
google avatar

Shireida B.

Yelp
Ok so I went into the blueberry cafe today and it was two caucasian people in front of me whom was served samples and asked to check out the zucchini bar next door, so I m thinking that I am going to get the same service treatment, no... mind you I am Afro American. I had read some reviews speaking on the customer service but I said I am going to check it out anyway... never again!! I guess they are catering to a certain type of people, it saddens me because I was looking forward to this experience with just recently transitioning to A Vegan lifestyle. I am not trying to deter anyone from the place just be mindful!! If I could give this place no stars that's what it would be!!

Yelp
When I walked in this new restaurant, I was not acknowledged or greeted at all, and the faces were not friendly. When I asked to see a menu, I was told to take a look online. I realized that I was not in a friendly environment and at that point, I did not anticipate a good experience here, so I walked out and saved myself from having a meal possibly prepared by people with bad energy.

Lauren J.

Yelp
I've had their mushroom hoagie on a Saturday, and their vegan walnut tacos on a Monday. The food selections are already pre-selected based on the day of the week that you come in, but besides that whatever you choose is bound to be delicious! There is not much parking around the area but it's worth circling the block a few times to find a park just to come in, sit and eat.

Yelp
So a friend of mine told me about this place and I finally found time in my schedule to visit. The food is vibrant, beautiful presentation and tasty and the fact that it follows Dr. Sebi's alkaline diet is even more incredible for a vegan restaurant. I tried one of the wraps along with the pasta salad. Now I LOVE pasta salad and this was VERY good!! So I was excited to bite onto this wrap, which exploded in mouth with such rich flavors!! Two thumbs up and excited I cleaned my plate!!! The chef truly does his thing here!! Like TRULY!! The only thing that wasn't so cool about this place was the server and lack of menus. The server we had, had no idea what was on the menu and kept yelling across the room at the chef asking questions she should have known. She couldn't explain what the sauces were made of nor what was on the particular wraps they had for the day. It was quite frustrating and taking away from the aesthetic of the place. But I'd definitely come back at some point to try more dishes. I think it's amazing for the neighborhood it's in!!

Yelp
Staff was friendly, food was fantastic went for a Sunday Brunch. I was able to sample the soup and porridge, they were kind to allow me to swap out the soup for another taco- it was so yummy! It can seem confusing at first but have patience the food is worth it. Hopefully as time goes on they will fix the minor issues. But we will definitely be returning! Food was flavorful and satisfying!

Yelp
Thought I would pay this new restaurant a visit. I ordered takeout, it took almost an hour to get my order, which wasn't what I ordered to begin with. $14 for a tasteless poorly presented wrap is not my idea of great Saturday brunch, vegan or not. Their saving grace for my was their every pleasant cashier. Still, I probably will not return.

Yelp
This my second time coming and I had the wild rice soup and quinoa burger wrap. Today I'm eating the Kamut porridge red quinoa soup black bean taco and açaí smoothie and I'm in love with this place. Who knew eating this healthy could taste so good! I feel like I'm going to come here everyday! Keep up the great work and change how people eat!

Yelp
Just had lunch here, i always forget to take pics! Anyway, this is my go to place. I'm vegan and we need more establishments like this! Anyway, I had Walnut toona on spelt toast w/kale soup! So gooood! What I think I love most is that, I always feel so properly nourished after I eat here. Food is fresh & always presented nicely. If I can't make anything at home; this is where I go, because it's so wholesome, tastes good & is on par with my vegan lifestyle. Luv it!
