This place was close to living spaces and showed up in breweries near me so off we went. The beer collection is really nice and place has the vibe of being well liked a frequently visited by regulars. We liked the beer and the fries at the food truck. We will be back.

Google
Cool little brewery with a nice outdoor area and cool indoor Biergarten. Got the Cream Ale and loved it! Definitely worth visiting

Robert Feliciano

Google
Solid wide variety of original brews that bring a new twist to the area. The staff is always attentive and the different styles of food trucks that visit this brewhouse offers a unique and very variable food flavors. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Google
Great microbrew tucked away in Round Rock. Very nice beers - loved the American Amber Ale and Texas Pecan Brown. Food was delicious - had The Executive Order Italian hoagie. Good prices, outdoor seating, swag if you need a cool t-shirt, and very friendly staff! They can also “can” any beer to take home.

This is one of the places in Wilco that is definitely a locals hang out as in locals in the neighborhood. Not trying to be disrespectful to the place, but the beer is not that good. The food coming out of the kitchen not that good. I went here after going to third level brewing down the street. Night and day. I get it if you live in the neighborhood it's nice to have this around you but if you don't you probably shouldn't go , you'd be disappointed... nothing on the staff or anything of that nature they were really nice no issues with that sort of thing. Just being honest

Google
This place has some of the best beers in the area. The red and the IPA are probably some of the best that I've ever tasted. They have some of the most positive servers that I've ever seen at a brewery. You can tell, they really believe in the beer and the brewers.

Google
TLDR: great potential, but overall the Austin Average In any other market, this place would be well above average, but considering the competition, I'd say it's much closer to the average. They have some pretty solid beer, but the location is in the middle of an industrial park, and the place was all open air with no AC (not the best idea with Texas Summers). I think they've got some good potential, and it's certainly worth a stop by to try. 3/5

Google
Loved this little place. Unpretentious and with excellent brews. Fantastic way to close out an evening.

Yelp
Excellent friendly owners and staff! Good beer selection and a fun environment. Nice inside seating and picnic tables outside. We love to support local businesses do keep up the good work! Absolutely loved the Schnitzel Wagon! Fab food Definitely a repeater for my son and me

Yelp
REALLY good beers with a nice neighborhood pub feel. I like this place. They always have great food trucks there too.
google avatar

Yelp
Consistently good beer and good service. They recently expanded their space so they have an indoor area now when it's a million degrees outside (or cold, as I write this review). They usually have a good mix of German style beers as well as other styles. I like their hefe and Vienna lager are all good. The owner is really nice and have always been great in the community. Plenty of parking and in an industrial area. They don't serve food but have rotating food trucks.

Yelp
What a find! We were checking out new breweries we hadn't been to before and Bluebonnet popped up. It's in an industrial office park in Round Rock off the 45 toll. They have rotating food trucks here so check out their website if you're wanting to find out who's there the day you visit. Everyone, including the patrons were super friendly. I ordered the shandy, and they have a wide variety of IPAs, wine, mead, ciders, and others. Something for everyone. Laid back, kid friendly. Plenty of seating outside and inside!

Virginia S.

Yelp
Hey, the beers are STELLAR, the selections are vest and the service, way cool. The vibe Is like hanging out in the back yard with the FAMILY. They get different food trucks that offer some of the best food around. Love this place!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely love it here. The beer is fantastic and the people are great. My only "complaint " would be to maybe have more games....like perhaps darts..Lol

Yelp
Cool little "local" micro-brew spot in Austin! Regular events, good beers and friendly service and patrons! Overall, 4.0 rating for decent but limited craft beer and hard seltzer selections, and no real food options, just some bagged chips. Think you can bring your own food if wanting something heavier to eat with their beers. Stopped in for a few cold tastings of their IPA beers, and enjoyed watching a corn hole tournament being played in their parking lot. A few outdoor picnic tables were available in addition to the standing tables indoors. Not much more to say about BBC, but come try their locally crafted beers. Enjoy!

Yelp
The bar tender jay talks to much with a beer line out the door not to mention he likes to over charge customers that pay with card the members are very clickish an you'll definitely feel like an outsider if your not a member the high-school drama at this brewrey is ridiculous if for some reason you still decide to go pay cash only I'd recommend staying clear of this dying brewrey! Not worth your time if your trying to unwind an have a good time with your family an friends

Yelp
Great local place. My friends and I regularly hangout at this locally owned brewery. My favorite beer is the Amber Ale.
google avatar

Laura L.

Yelp
Stunning! The beer was phenomenal and the owners were so nice. Such a fun crowd, can't recommend this enough!
google avatar

Edith G.

Yelp
This brewery is in a warehouse district type place. The seating area is in the parking lot, which is coned off to make space for children to play. We came in the evening, but if you came during the day the sun would probably be brutal. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Heff was really good, and the rest of their beers must be too, because this place is pretty crowded. This is dog and fam friendly.

Yelp
On a cold or hot day, we'll any day is a good day to have a local craft beer on tap from bluebonnet brewery everything they make is great kid friendly activities and a pet-friendly as well great place to meet new people and bring a date or a find the love of your life

Yelp
If you come here enough, it feels like you were a cast on Cheers where everybody knows your name. Very friendly staff and as a family run business, you can feel the love and attention towards their beer and the treatment towards the customer. Bring your own folding chair and enjoy meeting locals who also love craft beer!

Yelp
I've been here a few times with great friends... and I love the chill vibe, great staff and friendly atmosphere. I'm not a beer drinker (more of a cocktails and wine drinker) however I've been a bit curious lately about beer, and I tried their Shandy and I love it! Hopefully I will work my way up to other kinds of beer so I for sure will be coming here more often :)

Bmd D.

Yelp
Great beer and friendly staff. I especially liked the summer shandy, but also liked the cream ale and amber.

Yelp
Wanted to try Bluebonnet Beer Company and BBQ Fiends. Really liked both! I find in Austin if you're not an IPA lover, you're often out of luck. At BBC, we had a Porter, a Texas Pecan Brown Ale, AND an American Amber Ale. Choices other than IPA, IPA, and more IPA. And, I think the pints were only $6.00 each. Wonderment! The woman who helped us at BBC was super friendly, and very informative about the beers. Ample parking, clean, a number of picnic tables with umbrellas outside, and a good amount of indoor, air-conditioned seating also - essential for our current and seemingly endless Purgatoria. BBQ Fiends was exceptional also. We tried their brisket, turkey, and Chori-Queso sausage with pickled onions and potato salad, and the Texican with barbacoa, rice, beans and salsa verde. All were very tasty, served quickly and the two young men that helped us at BBQ Fiends food truck were very friendly. Had a great afternoon there with family and appreciated the friendly service, great beer and BBQ and a clean, comfortable place to relax. Applause!!

Yelp
We had heard about Bluebonnet for a while and finally decided to check them out on a Friday evening. We were shocked to find a packed house! The picnic tables outside are plentiful but were all full when we arrived. Luckily two guys let us join them. I had the Raspberry Berliner Weisse and it quickly became my new favorite. It is sweet and crisp without being overly sweet. Our friends both got the Cream Ale and loved it. We all walked out with growlers. Everyone there is super friendly and very welcoming. We had the baby with us which was fine (there were a few kids there)...but every time a car was exiting we would have to wrangle him down (minor downfall of basically sitting alongside the parking lot). We are looking forward to visiting again.

Yelp
Nice little brewery in a warehouse. Seating is all outside in the parking lot. Regulars bring lawn chairs. Beer was okay. Food was meh. Plastic cups are a turn off. I'd stop in again if thirsty and in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way to get here...
google avatar

Yelp
I have been coming to Bluebonnet for over a year now. I love the beer and the people. You can find just about any beer from IPA's, to ales, and dark blends. If you like Cornhole then you can always find somebody ready to pick up some bags and play. If you are in Round Rock and want a local made beer then Bluebonnet is your place. Come on out. Cheers.

Yelp
Super fun local community brewery! I mean the name is PERFECT. The beer is fantastic and the vibe check is legit. Super laid back hang, awesome staff, and all around good times. No food, but bring your own. Drink Texas beer!

Yelp
Amazing brewery. New indoor beer hall is fantastic. Great selection of classic beers. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Bluebonnet is not just a place to eat and drink, it's a community. It's a place to try new food trucks, or enjoy the in-house Rueben, which is my favorite. I don't understand all the reviews that say there is no food - there is always food! Whether a local food truck, or the in-house, mostly German-ish fare. There are plenty of picnic tables, and even in the hot summer, there is a nice breeze and the sunsets are majestic. I don't drink beer typically, but I always enjoy having beer at Bluebonnet, as there is always a sweet variety. If you are feeling social, there is always someone to talk to; if not, you can bring a book and a chair to people watch. The staff are friendly and remember what you like, always make a quality pour. Served in real glass or if you join the Mug Club, a reusable and beautiful custom mug and periodic events for members.

Yelp
The beer was great, cool vibe but most of all the bartender was awesome! Told him it was my first visit and he went above and beyond to explain the beers and seemed to really enjoy his job!
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot to sit outside and visit with friends while enjoying some locally brewed beer! There are several picnic tables outside and a few long counters to stand at on the interior part of the building. The big warehouse/garage doors are kept open, so it can get a bit hot on a hot day. Dogs are allowed and there's plenty of parking! We will be back!

Rita S.

Yelp
The brewery was recently remodeled. They added an air conditioned space and an additional bathroom. It's a great place to hang out with friends.
google avatar

Yelp
Good beer, nice atmosphere. I'd visit again if I was in the area. It's kinda hidden. Bring your chairs and snacks.

Yelp
Bluebonnet Beer Company is simply amazing. They are a little difficult to find, look for the side street behind the post office and you should notice it on the right. Their beers are super delicious, I had the wit, pecan brown ale , cream ale and hef. Out of all of them, the cream ale and wit come highly recommended. They are so smooth and drinkable. There is a schnitzel food trailer that serves some pretty decent food. The place is small but all of the employees I encountered were nice and friendly. For seating, there is only plastic benches avaliable located in the front of the brewery. Not really any kind of shade or landacaping but this is expected since it is such a small brewery. It may not have all of the amenities and backyard space that other larger breweries in Austin have. But if you love beer and want to interact with some awesome, friendly people then Bluebonnet Beer Company is the way to go. Everything is tasty and pints are currently at $5 each, you can't beat that price.
google avatar

Suzanne P.

Yelp
Amber Ale is amazing! IPA is good. Very friendly staff and customers. Price is now $5 per pour - 16 oz pours. The place is very small and in a warehouse area, hard to find. Hope they make more stouts and porters. Great place to stop.

Yelp
Great little brewery in my hometown of Round Rock! My family and I came here on a Friday around 6:30 to grab a few beers and relax. If it's cold outside, I highly recommend bringing a layer or two as there is only a bit of seating inside but about four picnic tables outside. Also, wait to grab dinner at the brewery as they have rotating food trucks Thursday-Saturdays. When we went, they had a lobster roll truck that served amazing rolls. I started out with their Oktoberfest beer, which was very good! My mom, who is not a big beer drinker, got their shandy and thought it would be great for a hot day. The beers are $5 a pint, and I thought it was really cool they have a series related to the Immortal 10. Parking is not a hassle, the beer is very good, the people are friendly, and your hardest job will be finding a seat. Enjoy!
google avatar

Alexis B.

Yelp
We love blue bonnet. It's really the only brewery in the area and we are used to living in the domain where there are like a million options. Beer is tasteful and I don't always love IPA. Their indoor seating is limited by this isn't normally a problem in Texas. They have plenty of tables outside and also have tents in the summer. No food but there is always a food truck - if you follow them on Facebook you can see what it is ahead of time. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Plenty of space for puppies here too. They are only open Friday evenings and Saturday! I wish they had some openings on Sunday.
google avatar

John R.

Yelp
Good variety of tasty beers on tap, and they run true to form. We prefer a selection like this vs say five different IPAs. Good seasonal beers. Food truck on site. Decent seating for a smaller brewery. Lots of parking. The Tap Room is only open Thur-Saturday, so if we find ourselves on a Sunday beer drive, we have to pass.
google avatar

Chad T.

Yelp
This is the best beer in Texas! I've been coming to Bluebonnet since 2103 and its amazing!
google avatar

Isabel R.

Yelp
If there was a zero I would not give this establishment any stars. We go when it's raining and all tables are outside for the exception of the owners table that was inside. We asked if we could move our table in and was rejected instantly because "there was no room" (there was enough). Hospitality was at a negative and we were highly considering the beer mug club but the lost a customer and a loyaled customer. Bluebonnet Brewery you all need to focus on customer Hospitality and not just your sales.
google avatar

Yelp
This a Hidden event pastors please have a new brewery was there Oktoberfest was a good idea the Oktoberfest was fun Had a chance to experience great good different types of German beers and bratwursts it was a lot of fun for family and friends
google avatar

Yelp
Try the Amber, pecan brown or Irish dry stout Fantastic beer. Great off track location.

Yelp
The beer was good, the atmosphere was very laid-back and friendly. I got to chat a bit with the owner and the employees and had a very enjoyable experience. They had a seasonal Christmas beer that was a porter/stout (not 100% clear on it, I had enjoyed quite a bit of beer that day -- don't worry, I didn't drive!) and had some Christmas-y spice to it, it was quite delicious. Aside from the beer and the friendly atmosphere, I have another reason to give Bluebonnet Beer Company 5 stars. I left my debit card there and forgot to cash out when I left. Wouldn't be that big of a deal, but I live in San Antonio -- quite a drive to retrieve a lost debit card. I called the business and spoke with the owner, I asked him just to close me out and cut-up the card. He volunteered to mail it to me, which was very kind of him. He even sent it signature required, to ensure my card was safe. Thank you so much for going that extra mile!
google avatar

Lisa B.

Yelp
I'm rating Blue Bonnet 3 stars because while we love their beer and have enjoyed it the very much during their Oktoberfest, we were pretty bummed when we went on a Saturday night. We know that they are popular and were even excited to try Jimmy Vega's Smokehouse but when we arrived half of the available tables were set as reserved. There was literally no where to sit. Every table was packed. We had our 3 yr old son with us, so standing wasn't an option, especially since we wanted to eat too. We asked anyway if any of the tables were available and was told no, they are all reserved for 5pm, but you could squeeze in anywhere else. In the end, we left irritated and disappointed, while I understand reserving tables, but when you only have 10 tables and you reserve 5 of them, that doesn't leave much room for anyone else.
google avatar

Katie K.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the beer here. My favorites were the Hefeweizen and the Summer Wit. The guy at the counter was very friendly and went through a description of all the beers. Good place to get a flight to try multiple beers. There was a food truck present, too. I didn't get any food, but maybe next time!
google avatar

Britt J.

Yelp
Bluebonnet is a great craft brewery with an outstanding lineup of ales, seasonal lagers, and wheat beers. I really enjoyed the Vienna lager. The owners run a hands on, customer friendly business that is a real pleasure to visit. The perfect place to relax with friends and enjoy some really good beer!
google avatar

Melody B.

Yelp
Beer is good. Great to sit outside and have conversation but the noise from the food truck generator made it hard to have hear.

William P.

Yelp
Best beer in town! Unlike other local brewers, Bluebonnet keeps it pretty simple, brewing straightforward classic styles with the best execution in Central Texas in my opinion. Recently around St. Patrick's day they had a dry Irish stout and a classic Irish pale ale that were on point - the stout was the closest thing to real Guinness I have ever had besides Guinness itself, and the pale ale was creamy and simply awesome. I am a big fan of classic ESB, such as Fuller's, and their ESB was executed excellently and authentically. Their cream ale is the best around. They have a very solid and well-done IPA as well as a classic pale ale and lager. They can do Belgian's too - they had a Belgian ale just about everyone in the crowd couldn't get enough of. Speaking of crowd, on Friday's, this is a popular hang-out - bring your lawn chairs - it spills out into the parking lot, and plan on running into friends if you are local. The folks pulling the taps serve with a friendly smile but they are also quick, and so don't worry about the line if there is one - it goes quickly. The owner & master brewer hangs out with the crowd, so you'll get to meet him. I am pretty sure this is a family & friend venture, and everyone there seems committed to service and quality. If you want a barrel-aged Brett with cherry and jackfruit, you may not find it at Bluebonnet. But if you want the best executed classic brew in town, served by folks that really care about the beer and their customers, the Bluebonnet is the place to go.

Yelp
Middle of the road Brewery. Simple and plan. Nothing crazy. Probably following German Purity Laws. If you're looking for basic styles of beers here is your spot. The IPA is nice classic take. $4 all pints. Can't beat that
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
Delicious! Friendly owners and a nice selection of tasty brews. Delighted to come for the first time because of their participation in Divine Canines' Barks for Beers. Will definitely return.

William P.

Yelp
David has amazing talent, and his execution of every beer style he tries is, in my experience and opinion, the best in central Texas, and one of the best in the US, especially classic styles. Example = his Oktoberfest märzen was phenomenal, and folks who'd been to Germany recently tasted it and said it was as good or better than what you get in Munich. Last year he did a dry Irish stout that rivaled Guiness! Flavors and textures of his beers are extremely well balanced. Range of styles I've seen in Bluebonnet are wide - from a classic clean Czech Pilsner to a west-coast style IPA (Resilience! - the latest tap that benefits the fire victims on northern Cal) to a beautifully done Belgian strong ale. The tap room is a laid back & relaxed family atmosphere, dog friendly, with a regular local food truck to pair the brews with. (Regular monthly stop for Garbos and Taco-n-Maye!) Go check it out!

Jason M.

Yelp
Great beer and great people. I only wish they had more seating. They have a loyal customer base which speaks to the way they treat there patrons but also means the little seating they have is always full. If this place would just expand, they could run the Round Rock beer scene!
google avatar

Eva F.

Yelp
Part of a business park, do not be fooled by the appearance! Warm friendly staff receive you with wide open arms. They let us sample the whole lot too! I Ended up getting "the flight" which gives you a 5ish oz sampler. Great experience & excellent beer! I will be back!

Yelp
Clare is amazing. They reserved this amazing room for our big dual bridal party and holy wow. Go to this place it was so fun and that food truck was amazing!!!!! Clare thanks again for such an amazing time at your place we will be back!
