It was okay. Prices are high for what you get, which is the norm up the shore. Atmosphere is great, food is good, views are great. You’re right on the water. Portions aren’t that large. I went away hungry. I’d stop in again in a pinch, because the scenery is beautiful and the place is really nice, but I wouldn’t make it a priority if I was really hungry.

Google
Food was quick and tasty. The place has some amazing overlooks of the lake, but unfortunately you don’t get much of an option of where you’re allowed to sit. There were some available tables outside and we had reservations, but we had to stay inside away from the views. Friendly wait staff and the food was great.

Bryan Ebert

Google
My wife and I have come up here a number of times. The number one reason we come back is for the amazing view. Getting a table by the windows always has led to a beautiful dinner (best enjoyed during golden hour). The food is also very good, which doesn’t hurt. Today we were having a nice meal and a kid on the beach lost their shoe in Superior, and it was slowly drifting away. One of the servers (Casey) from the restaurant saw this happen, finished her tables, and tracked down a kayak. She paddled out and got the shoe which was now very far away, and was able to bring it back for the kid. She deserves a raise. Full service, will definitely come back again.

Great duck chowder! Tempura shrimp were large and tender. Wish I would’ve ordered them grilled. Caesar salad was nothing special. Good tap beer selection for this resort restaurant. Filet Oscar was a nice steak, but barely had any sauce on it. Service was friendly.

Google
I had the creamy pesto cheese ravioli and it was delicious, a very authentic tasting pesto sauce! The views outside were great as well! We visited on weekday evening and had made a reservation although there appeared to be no wait.

Michelle Dahlberg

Google
The food was amazing and so was the service! We loved our waitress! We had the walleye cakes as an appetizer and I would highly recommend those. We had a group of six, and all of us loved our meal! Between us all, we had the pork ossobucco, beef short ribs, shrimp and scallop risotto, and soup and salad! All of the food was great, and the duck chowder was to die for!

Brittnee Ruiz

Google
Did the salmon fettuccine have bacon in it? Hopefully not. I was observing lint. I forgot to ask the waiter. I just picked the pieces out. The dish was delicious. Best fettuccine sauce I have had.

Grail Reilly

Google
Food was good. We ate here 3 times during our stay at Bluefin. The Cajun Pasta was phenomenal though the sauce was a little thin. I had that twice. The pesto pasta was underwhelming though. The duck wantons were one of my wife's favorites. Dinner services were on time and about what you would expect at a restaurant. The one time we went during lunch it was super slow and or drinks were messed up. They were not busy... Overall we had a good experience.

Yelp
Such a lovely view. Excellent food. Attentive service. What more could one want? We were out hiking all day chasing spring waterfalls and quite frankly there is not a lot open for dinner this time of year. We were a little worried we were underdressed for this restaurant but no one batted an eye. The wait staff was super helpful picking out a beverage. the food choice was easy- after a long day hiking I just needed veggies and protein, and that delivered! The curried chickpeas with vegetables over rice was exactly what I needed. Fresh, flavorful. I could not have asked for more. love this place!

Yelp
Unfortunately, this experience was such a disappointment on several levels. Atmosphere is lacking warmth and the food, across the board, was awful. They were out of most wine selections and several entree items. The food lacks creativity and flavor. Reading other reviews, I can see that the owner / manager hasn't taken anything to heart or made any attempts to address the common issues other patrons have experienced.

Yelp
do not eat here. do, however, go to the coho cafe and save a ton of $$ and actually be delighted with your food. homemade everything and home desserts. never had a miss. the irony is that the coho cafe is owned by blue fin so basically coho cafe and blue fin grille are sisters. one of them is just evil. so there you go, i saved you a ton of agony. :) sure the coho doesn't have the view, but you are LITERALLY paying for the view with a side of garbage food; you will always be disappointed and then probably angry when the bill comes. blue fin needs to lower their prices, make fresh food and step up their game.

Yelp
What a gem on the North Shore! I've been a few times now during my stays in Tofte, and this is such a great close and delicious spot near Tofte and Lutsen. The views, no matter the season, from inside or outside are stunning. You're instantly put at ease. I've had everything from fancy walleye to a simple burger, and I love that they can be whatever you're feeling. Near the bar downstairs is very casual, but in the dining area and upstairs feels elevated. We've had great service here! This is one of the few nicer options in the area - great for a fish-forward dinner though they have much more on the menu!

Yelp
Sat on the deck overlooking an usually calm lake with our golden. Had a nice French wine and perfectly prepared salmon linguini. Hadden our server was informative and attentive. He gave me hope for our country's youth!

Yelp
Had lunch at Bluefin Grille July 16th. Service was great..Even though he had many tables inside and out the smiling young man served everyone well. My blackened walleye cake were excellent. My wife's burger was awesome. Best French fries were the best we have had in a long time. Great view of the lake from our inside table. Enjoyed watching two young boys playing on the rocky beach. Having a liesurly lunch at Bluefin Grille was a highlight of of our brief North Shore vacation. Neil and Jeanne H

Yelp
Overall, all of the food we had was delicious. Entree are really big and hearty which was unexpected. From the size of the meat to the portions of sides, you won't leave hungry. Our favorite of the night was the Walleye Cakes - a must order! Took off a star for two reasons 1) the vegetables on the entree were cold. 2) We had arguably the worst seat in the restaurant, which altered the experience a bit. It was in the back corner about as close to the kitchen as possible. With a different table this might be 5 stars, was just my experience but something to note!

Yelp
Service seemed stretched thin. Waited over 10 min to be greeted. Ordered a bottle of wine for our table of 4, and after another 10 min the server returned to say they were out of that particular wine. We chose a different bottle, and placed our food orders. Another 10 minutes passed and the salad/cheese curds arrived but no wine because again they were "out" and also out of the walleye I just ordered. The 3rd wine was just ok, but cheese curds good. Peach/barata salad was flavorless. Main meals all sub-par minus the wild rice and chicken was decent. "Seasonal vegetables" came standard with every entree and were awful. Not warm, no seasoning and tasted like a steamed bag of frozen carrots and broccoli. Both the salmon and market fish (whitefish) were fishy tasting and again BLAND with no sauce or anything to make it interesting or flavorful. The short ribs were quite tough and cold like the potato and veggie side dishes. None of us even ate half of our dinners. Really depressing experience for what used to be considered a higher end resort and restaurant. I was embarrassed we recommended it to our friends who were treating us that night.

Yelp
Location is absolutely stunning! Beautiful restaurant! The food is delicious! The kids cheeseburger is a great price and the burger is just really good! A quality cheeseburger! The salmon fettuccini was to die for! Homemade pasta! Favorite place to eat at BlueFin Bay

Yelp
Ok my expectations were high for this place judging by the website etc I thought I would be under dressed for this place I was wrong about that The mix was locals and tourists it seemed like everyone knows the bartender sort of thing He was really attentive and first but became busy when he started taking orders from the bar area tables Now about the food .....I ordered the blackened walleye sandwich adding onions and American cheese The walleye was NOT blackened but deep fried It was ok but to be honest lacked flavor I also had the famous in house bbq chips didn't taste any bbq flavor I wouldn't have made any comments until I looked at my check and saw that I paid $1.00 for a piece of cheese The duck soup was pretty good One beer walleye sandwich with chips and soup $40 including a tip

Yelp
My daughter's mocktail was much too tart for her but beautiful. My maple glazed salmon, paired wine, and flourless cake was excellent. Our service was also excellent. My daughter loved her burger and turtle sundae were excellent but the chips were homemade with a lot of flavoring. Would be 5 stars if they could offer bland kids drinks and bland chips. Five stars from an adult perspective.

Yelp
The highlight of this restaurant was the view and the service but wow, the food was great too! A few different vegetarian options, I got the wild rice burger which was delicious and I had a tasty spiked apple cider as well. Our server, Kevin, was incredibly attentive to our needs and so pleasant to be around. I hope I get a chance to come back someday.

Yelp
Been going o Bluefin for probably 30 years and was really blown away by the food at Bluefin Grille right now. We packed a bunch of groceries for our unit with kitchen and used almost none of those. Especially enjoyed the roasted beet and cranberry salad, steakhouse burger, brisket hoagie, club sandwich, Cuban sandwich and pork ossobuco. Salmon is always tasty when you can add it. Sweet potato fries were a nice option to the sandwiches. Thanks, Bluefin Grille for really enhancing our vacation with some awesome nightly takeout!

Yelp
We were staying at Bluefin Bay for a few days and walked down to the Grille for an early evening dinner. We made reservations on Open Table. Recommend an early dining time so you get a better table with no wait (at least this particular day)- we had a beautiful booth overlooking the lake! I had the blueberry lemonade which was very sweet. My boyfriend had the cold brew martini which is more of a dessert drink. We ordered the elk meatloaf and beef bleu sandwich - both were good but the sandwich was definitely better. Great flavor. The meatloaf was a bit on the dry side, but I wanted to try something unique and it fit the bill. They were out of the duck and bacon wontons which I would've loved to try! Would recommend checking it out for the view and our server, Kevin, was awesome!

Maezing G.

Yelp
I definitely recommend going during the daytime, so you could enjoy the views of Lake Superior. Unfortunately, we came for dinner so we missed the scenic views. But the food did not disappoint. The waiter made great recommendations and was very accommodating. He shared ideas for other spots to check out and offered the local newsletter. The party of four I dined with were all very satisfied with their meals. The meat was very tender and fell off the bone. The sauces and sides were savory and flavorful. Would love to come back the next time we are in town!

Sarah K.

Yelp
Our food was AWFUL. Clearly premade mini naan from the grocery store but the entrees were the worst. The menu said "seasonal vegetables" but it was blatantly a frozen vegetable medly - you know the type with the wavy cut carrot coins. They didn't even bother to season it!! Just steamed it from frozen and gave it to us. The chicken was the driest we've ever had - nearly inedible. Clearly had been sitting out for a long time and possibly microwaved to heat it up? Came out WAY too fast and too dry to have been cooked fresh. and the rice was so dry it was actually rock hard around the edges. These entrees were OVER 30 DOLLARS EACH. For a frozen, dry, unseasoned meal!!! Worst part was, an employee muttered something about changing where we were going to be seated to the host when we arrived - and we were sat all the way in the back, in a nearly empty room, despite plenty of available seating elsewhere. It became clear that they were seating people in more expensive lookinf clothing in the front and those of us who looked poorer in the back. I want a refund - and i highly recommend no one be suckered into eating here

Yelp
Food and service were good. The view was great! We had really early 4:45 dinner reservations, which were all we could get prior to 7 pm on MEA weekend. Overall it was a good meal.

Yelp
We popped in for some dinner last minute. They were booked but seated us at the bar. We enjoyed our food and the view of Lake Superior.

Yelp
We enjoyed our dinner so much we came back for lunch the next day. Portions were generous and tasted delicious, cocktails were good. The service and ambiance was great. We had whitefish, Duck Chowder and salmon cakes for dinner, then came back for wild game meatloaf for lunch, all were great!Duck Chowder

Yelp
The food was soooooo good. On top of that is was named after my favorite fish. I LOVE BLUE FIN TUNA

Becca J.

Yelp
Beautiful views, great service and the food was excellent! Make sure to try the fish cakes and pickle cheese curds. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next evening for a second dinner experience!

Yelp
Lovely views of the North Shore accompany you for this dinner choice. I chose their pan seared white fish special served with steamed veggies and choice of potato. It was just ok. Fish was good, pan seared with a bit of a crisp to it. Wasn't the biggest fan of the sauce that covered it. If I could do again, I'd ask for that on the side and control the amount myself. Veggies weren't as fresh as I'd like them. Baked potato was great. Husband had a walleye sandwich and fries which he also said was good, not great. Service was excellent. Our server really helped us through the menu and was open and honest about what was god and top favs for other patrons. I loved the views from this restaurant. Even if you want a glass of wine and an app, this would be a great place to go to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Yelp
This is a great happy hour spot in Tofte on the shore of Lake Superior. We stopped in on a grey evening and were warmly greeted by our server Kris. We had delicious duck and bacon wontons, fried to perfection. They were crispy on the outside and filled with gooey goodness. Next were Walleye Cakes, the mild fish was great and paired well with a cilantro lime aioli and corn relish. We finished with the beef and Brie sandwich, also warm and delicious. We paired wines with our food, Over-stone Sav Blanc (for her) and Argentine Malbec (for him). Per glass prices were reasonable and the selection was good. The view is amazing!

Yelp
We were at the sister restaurant coho the other day and I left a very not nice review. I figure in all fairness I'll leave a good review when I get great service and good food. My son and husband each had a steak, nephew a burger and me the pasta. My husband had a martini and I a Negroni. Mario at the bar took top notch excellent care of us. He was professional, the drinks were great and the food was good. This all with a very full bar and completely full restaurant. We had a nice meal and relaxing time. The steaks and burger were cooked correctly and flavors were all good. Great job Mario. Excellent service and thanks for a really enjoyable dining experience.

Yelp
Presents itself as a fine dining location but don't be fooled, it is far from that. Maybe I am a little unrealistic asking for fine dining in the area but this place, on appearance, looked like I had found it but I unfortunately did not. Reservations were made via open table with very specific instructions for a disabled family member. When arriving they wanted to seat us upstairs even though we informed them of a guest in a wheelchair. Hostess spoke little English and struggled to understand that we could not use the stairs. Luckily our family member eventually did not join us. Service was a little rough around the edges and something you would expect from a lower end restaurant. Food was grossly under seasoned and not prepared well. It tasted like microwave meals thrown on a plate with garnish to try to pull off a fancy meal. It did not work. The pumpkin soup was bland, meats were tough, and they should have never even tried to make risotto. Unless you are staying at this resort and they offer you free meals I would recommend you choose to skip.

Yelp
Second visit to this area and second visit to Bluefin Grill. Had a delicious meal (one of the specials, dry rubbed ribs with blueberry barbecue sauce) and the Sevilla Manhattan. John S served me on both of my visits...attentive, friendly, and provided great input on the food.
google avatar

John D.

Yelp
Excellent quality and service. Ask to sit upstairs if you would like a nice view, or sit outside. Kevin was an outstanding server. Some unusual and delicious choices on the menu. We had a beef with brie sandwich that was outstanding. Make sure and ask for condiments on the side if you are unsure of spiciness.

Yelp
Service was okay, but the food was not worth the price!! I have as so excited to try this place and was just disappointed in the food

Yelp
My wife and I were Up North during the off season. We walked into Bluefin Grille and the service and care was spectacular!! For our app we had house made bbq chips and dip....YUM We watched the TWolves lose to Memphis game 5 of the playoffs but the service and atmosphere kept me from diving into despair I highly recommend Bluefin Grille!!

Yelp
food was delicious and waiters are very nice and friendly. beautiful view on the lake.

Yelp
While in the Grand Marais area visiting a friend we decided to grab Bluefin for take out (COVID) and it did not disappoint. This may be some of the best food I have had up the north shore. While we didn't dine inside I will say the space is beautiful. A quaint, modern dining room opens up with windows facing beautiful Lake Superior. So close you can hear the waves crashing against the rocks meer feet from the patio. I had the Kimchi Burger. Featuring a 1/2 pound of certified Kobe Beef, house spicy Kimchi, LTO, and sweet soy glaze. I was pleasantly surprised at the heat from the kimchi. When it comes to up north Minnesota I take spicy with a grain of salt but this burger packed a nice bunch and danced on the tongue without being too overwhelming. The sweet soy glaze along with the sweetness from the beef really balanced the whole thing out. My friend from Grand Marais always gets the Cuban and says it's one of the best she's ever had. This sandwich comes with Moho Marinated Pork, Ham, Pepper Jack Cheese, Pickles, and Mustard. I managed to sneak a bite and it was amazing. The pork melted in my mouth and the ham added a nice saltiness to the sandwich complimenting the pickles and mustard. I'm excited for futures trips up north and visits to Bluefin Grille.

Yelp
We got takeout and it was delicious! Ready when promised. Xtra star if prices were more reasonable.

Yelp
Nice spot on the north shore for a solid sit-down meal. I got the filet mignon and was impressed by how good it was. The mashed potatoes I got with it were also really good. The staff were excellent. The inside of the restaurant is also really nice and seems to have been updated recently. We got seated next to the windows and had a gorgeous view of Lake Superior while we ate.

Yelp
Spent our anniversary here, had a seat by the water. Service was excellent. All the food was great! I keep thinking about the truffle mayo dip for the fries the server brought us, really good and I typically don't like truffle. I'd like to try out the bar area next time!

Mandy J.

Yelp
We stopped here for lunch a few days ago and WOW it was a great experience all around. It appeared there were only two people working (other than the cook), Sue the hostess/bartender/busser and Kevin our server. Despite both of them being extremely busy, they were so friendly and accommodating. We had the exact opposite experience at another restaurant the day prior so we were definitely impressed with the service we experienced here. To top it off the food was FANTASTIC and the view was top notch. Bluefin Grille is lucky to have these two!!

B E.

Yelp
Overpriced, incredibly underwhelming. My husband and I are on our honeymoon and had been looking forward to eating at Lutsen Resort for months, obviously that can't happen (corruption), so we had to pivot. Bluefin Grille's menu looked fantastic and their prices reflected prices of a nice restaurant so my husband called to book a reservation for us and simply asked for a table with a view since it was a special dinner for us. The lady on the other end of the phone said "can't promise anything". When we arrived to BG they did not have our reservation on file, even though my husband showed them the confirmation text he received. We got seated at a table upstairs far away from any windows. We saw the perfect table open up and requested to move over there. They said no it's reserved in 30 minutes. 10 minutes later another couple sits down next to us and requests to be moved to the table by the window and they brought them right over there. Besides the host situation being less than ideal, the food was awful and came out so quickly. Quick is great if Im going to McDonalds, but when I'm going out for a celebratory dinner and ready to pay a lot of money for a nice evening, Id like to take my time with the meal. We ordered apps and "nice" entrees and could've been out the door in 35 minutes. We ordered the duck and bacon wontons and duck chowder to start and I'm pretty sure the wontons were just stuffed with the chowder lol. Strangely similar. My husband ordered the shrimp and scallop risotto ($37). This risotto looked like malt-o-meal and he was too frightened to even try the scallop. I ordered the sirloin with wild rice and seasonal veggies ($29). Don't be fooled, the "seasonal veggies" were just a microwaveable California medley. Disgusting. I was very excited about the wild rice and it was ice cold. The steak was terrible as well. It was supposed to come with a rosemary butter... there was no butter or flavor in sight. Cy, our server, was absolutely wonderful. He was so kind, calm, and professional in handling objections from many other tables, not just ours. We felt terrible for him that the chef/restaurant are fine scamming people and serving this food while their servers get ripped to shreds by guests because of the lack of quality. I have NEVER been to a restaurant where every single table sent at least 1 food item back. Bluefin, it's sad that you are charging that amount of money for the quality of food and service you're offering. Being one of the only restaurants in the area, you have a fantastic opportunity to just at least an average bar and grill. Don't try to be something you're not. Huge Waste of $180 and waste of a honeymoon dinner experience.

Meara K.

Yelp
A really wonderful view & atmosphere. We had views of Lake Superior while eating. Food was subpar for the price. We enjoyed the game meatloaf and the pan fried walleye however the mashed potatoes need some work as they were lumpy and cold. In my personal opinion, not worth it for the price.

Yelp
We were looking for something besides burgers, sandwiches and/or pizza. An image popped up for scallops and I thought, "I can work with that" - plus, we were already headed the right direction. A quick browse through the menu online and I was already set to order. On arrival we were immediately seated, with a lovely view of Lake Superior. The server hit me with a curve ball when he mentioned cauliflower and squash soup. I ordered a cup. It was piping hot, creamy and vividly colored... warm and savory. Yum. The entrees were up relatively quickly. The scallops were paired with wild rice (dotted with savory and sweet bits plus seeds - yum) and summer vegetables, the yellow summer squash was slightly over and 1 of the 3 scallops was hit a lil too heavily with salt. The serving size was perfect and the flavors well-balanced. Texture can be a problem when ordering scallops, but not here! There was thought put into every element- crunch to balance the softness- salt to balance the sweetness. The plating was lovely as well. Dessert, yes, we went there: $8 each choice - that made choosing the least expensive tough! I opted for Creme Brulee and the hubs got the Date and Cardamom Cake with icecream, which had a hint of black salt - perfect! Price may seem somewhat steep for the entrees, in comparison to their "late night menu" in particular. Given the area and dishes we were presented, I'd say not terrible. We were a party of 2 - 2 adult drinks, 1 soup, 2 entrees and 2 desserts for $120, including the 20% tip on the gross total.

Chelsey S.

Yelp
The atmosphere was nice and food was average with some highlights. The restaurant was out of a lot of items- ice cream, salmon, etc. Luckily, it didn't affect our order. Service wasn't anything memorable. Cocktails were not very unique or "crafted". The highlights included the duck wontons and the broth of the shrimp and scallop papperdelle dish. Dipping the bread in the broth was the best bite of the night.

Lizzy B.

Yelp
The food was great! I really enjoyed the Caesar salad. Except, there was something wrong with the goat cheese bread appetizer thing, the bread was weird

April J.

Yelp
Great food and service. Beautiful drive to restaurant. Good clean atmosphere. They offer a large selection of different entree.

Yelp
We made a reservation for noon, but when we arrived a few minutes before, the door was still locked. There was also a lot of construction happening on the lake side of the property, so we decided we'd rather not look at that while we ate.

Amanda E.

Yelp
I was brought here for my birthday thinking it was going to be special. My entrée was good- it was one the specials they had for the night. My boyfriend on the other hand ordered the beef and brie sandwich - They served what looked like a grocery store bun, frozen meat, and, the cheese on it was not melted (essentially an Arby's sandwich). They comped 5$ off the bill after we suggested they remove the item from the menu. Just from that we got the impression that this place is ran by greed versus serving quality food. We will not be back.

Yelp
Great little restaurant in Tofte. Amazing views of Lake Superior year round. Menu had a variety of options- tried the wings as an appetizer and the caprese chicken sandwich with the house made BBQ chips. Overall solid options after a day of skiing at Lutsen.

Heather G.

Yelp
The only good thing left here is the view. We have been here several times previously over the last 10 years. You could always expect great service, good food and a fantastic view. Now you just leave disappointed. The only thing left IMO is the view. Overpriced, subpar food, and service. The last time I had eaten here was two nights in a row in March of 2023. They were on their first nights of a new menu change, and the food was absolutely terrible. The service was ok. My drink from the bar was just ok. I talked to the bartender about the drink, and he told me that all their "special" drinks are premade on a pitcher. Tonight, we decided to give it another try, thinking they could redeem themselves, and they had to have just been having a few bad nights. I was wrong. We arrived without a reservation. The hostess checked her iPad for a few minutes and then asked if we (party of 2) wanted to sit at the bar. I kindly declined, wanting a table and aked how long the wait would be. She checked her iPad again and ended up sitting us right away in the downstairs dining room at a booth. The seat of the had food on it. I simply brushed it away, overnights happen. We were seated and given menus. No water, no drink menu. Our server came a little while later and seemed frustrated that we weren't set up. She brought us waters and a drink menu. My drink was terrible. Aperol spritz. I'm not sure how you can mess that up? Food was sub-par. My walleye had no flavor. I added a lot of salt and pepper. My significant other had a ribeye, which was ok. It's definitely not worth the price. The whole vibe in the place has just gone downhill. It just seems chaotic and loud. It's not classy and a little more upscale like it used to be. Thumbs down, and we won't go back.

Yelp
Went for lunch after a hike. Prompt, friendly service. Amazing view. Loved the mocktails. Salmon canapés was excellent. Broccoli cheese soup with great ratio of broccoli to cheese and smooth consistency of cheese. Veggie burger would have been better as mushroom or black bean (or turkey). Didn't realize it was beyond burger meat, which I don't like. All considered, pleasant experience, lovely view and good food.

Yelp
We have been patrons at this establishment for years!! before kids and now we go with our kids. We often stay at this resort w.kids and stop by here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food has always been consistently good. But what the F! is with some racist staff ??? We walk in today for dinner, tired and hungry, place isnt crowded, I can see the empty tables inside ground floor (3 tables almost) the hostess gives us one look and tells us "we have a 30-45 min wait, you can try the coho nearby" it was in the tone, the quick prejudiced delivery and the lack of receptiveness all together. One of the shittiest white hostess, services to date here. WTF!!! Really you were lucky I was tired and had my kids with me. I would have taken you to task brought this establishment to its knees. BTW There is 5 visible code violations in your place!! I could have started there, and worked my way into Other issues in your property. I was tired I put up with this inept prejudiced staff here. You all should be ashamed of such interactions with good returning patrons who are your best advocates. You ruined my evening, you idiots! Food IS good, so next time if I have to deal with this. You will be ashamed of it and have significant legal and financial penalties.

Yelp
Picturesque dining with views of Lake Superior! The best dining I found along the North Shore. Professional service, and "formal" by Midwestern standards--nice but dress casual. The food was good if a bit oversalted. Lakeshore atmosphere and resort vibe!

Sam N.

Yelp
The hotel here is lovely and I have absolutely no complaints. Very reasonably priced and great rooms. The restaurant here however is completely overpriced for how terrible the food is. The staff were fine and the atmosphere is nice but the food was shockingly bad for the price point. My steak was $45 and looked like the steak on a banquet tv dinner box and the veg was not fresh. My girlfriend had the scampi ($37) and it was unseasoned and not fresh. Overall great resort but this restaurant was definitely the worst part of our stay. I would plan to eat off site if staying here.
