Where ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac’ Cast Has Dined During Season 7 [Updated] | Eater DC

"Ahead of the first cast trip to Miami this season, the ladies all took a field trip to scenic Bluemont Vineyard. Within minutes of being seated, accusations were hurled and arguing ensued like clockwork. However, it didn’t stop the women from enjoying a wine tasting. For food, they got flatbreads, spinach dip, crab dip, and baked brie." - Vinciane Ngomsi

We got in as they opened and by the time we left at 1 it was packed and for good reason, this place has beautiful views. Of course the charcuterie was good the burrata dish could have used a little more sweet on the peaches I felt were a bit bland. But overall great time! We had the red and white flights so got to sample a lot. Tons of seating to take in the views.

Bluemont Vineyard has a beautiful view as though you’re on top of the world! The spring and fall are the best time to see the trees, vines and flowers at their best. Sit outside and look down to the valley or enjoy the view from inside. The food and drink options are a perfect light fare to enjoy with your favorite refreshing visit. Cool off for the summer or heat up in the fall, even consider staying in the area for a weekend. #itriedlife

Beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere, but the service could be improved. We weren’t provided with utensils or napkins, and different wines were poured into the same glass, which affected the tasting experience. Despite that, a couple of wines stood out — I brought a bottle home and would return to try others. A nice place to unwind, but there’s definitely room for improvement in hospitality.

We attended the very first Orchard Dinner. The three course dinner and cider pairings by Chef Corey were well-thought out and executed beautifully. The event staff were detail-oriented and provided an excellent ambience. This was the first event we had attended, and we will be back for more. It was a lovely experience!

I've visited this place many times with family and have always had a great experience, which is why I was looking forward to coming back. Unfortunately, during this visit, I had a disappointing interaction. After we ordered and ate at our table, I went inside to ask if I could order additional drinks, as I remembered being able to do so last year. I completely understand if policies have changed --- a simple, polite explanation would have been perfectly fine. Instead, the woman who helped me (middle-aged woman over 40 who was working behind the counter inside mid-day Sunday 4/27, I think her name was Elaine?) spoke to me in a condescending tone and told me I had to order from the table. Her attitude was unnecessarily dismissive, and it completely turned me off from ordering anything more. I want to be clear: my issue isn't with the policy, but with the tone and customer service I received. It left a disappointing impression, especially since I have had much better service here in the past. I thought about going back to tell her she should work on her customer service skills, but I decided to protect my peace and not let her negative energy attach to mine. I also did not tell my family about this interaction so that we could continue to enjoy our time there, and not leave a bad taste in their mouth or pass along this negative energy. I truly hope this feedback is taken into consideration, as I would love to continue supporting this business.

Stunning place to visit and people who work here are extremely kind and hospitable. Special shout out to Staci who we met at their sister property, Henway Cider. As we drove up to the winery I was blown away by the views. Oh boy did it get even better!!! We had a wine tasting and to my surprise I loved every one of the 6 I tasted especially the Rosé and I’ve never enjoyed a Rosé before. We ordered lunch…braised beef tacos, strawberry burrata and spinach dip with the warmest crustiest baguette. I loved everything. The food was fresh and delicious.

To end our Valentine’s weekend, my husband surprised me with a visit to Bluemont Vineyard for their Chocolate Truffle and Wine pairing experience. This was my first visit to the vineyard, and although the weather wasn’t cooperating - it luckily didn’t take from the beauty of the grounds, and the stunning views. The chocolate and wine pairing experience itself was A LOT of fun. We sampled 4 different chocolates from The Conch chocolatiers; and 5 different wines from the Bluemont Vineyard. The service and level of detail delivered as we sample each wine and chocolate was superb. We learned a lot about the uniqueness of each of the wines we tried, as well as the individual nuances with the process with making each of the wines available. After the experience - we decided to have lunch! The Cast Iron Meatballs were not only an amazing portion size, they were equally as tasty… And the star of the show was the Prosciutto Arugula Flatbread, which we’ll definitely be coming back for! Overall, we had a great time at Bluemont and will definitely be back, hopefully when the weather’s better; so we can walk around the grounds a little and enjoy their different outdoor spaces.

Yelp
Decided to drive out to Bluemont on a Monday afternoon after hearing about this place. Parking was ample driving in! I sat on the upstairs patio. There were a few couples coming in and out over my 2 hour visit. I tried the white wine flight as well as the crab dip. The crab dip had great flavor and the bread that came with it was warm with a crunchy exterior and soft inside! Perfect for dipping. The wines I tried were okay. I'm not a huge fan of white wines but wanted to try something lighter since I had to make the drive back. The views: fantastic and so peaceful. My server was pretty attentive and I didn't have any issues. Overall, I definitely say try to make a trip out to visit! Also, I had no issues with bugs during my visit.

Yelp
Bluemont Vineyard provides a great escape from the DC metro area, with lovely views and lots of outdoor seating in a nice space. The tasting room is at the top of a steep hill, giving way to scenic views of rural Virginia. Squint hard on a clear day, and you can see some of the taller buildings all the way out at Tyson's Corner (or maybe it was Reston?) from here. The views and the peaceful open patio seating are the best part of coming here, in my opinion. The wine itself was fine, they have a nice variety of reds, whites, and interesting seasonal glasses, in addition to bottles for sale. Flights are pretty straightforward, and a fun way to try multiple varieties in one sitting. The service leaves a little to be desired, it's a bit chaotic ordering, and parking is also a bit of a mess. But still definitely a nice change of pace from DC, only about an hour away by car!

Yelp
Absolutely gorgeous setting and breathtaking views. But I'd never attempt to visit in anything but good weather since you have to drive up a small mountain road to reach either tasting room. Both tasting rooms are beautiful but I'd pass on the reserve unless you could bring a bottle from the all ages tasting room there. The wine list is incredibly limited (which I know is because it's the reserve but I've still never seen a winery tasting room be so limited) and the tasting is overpriced even for a reserve flight. The all ages tasting room is seated only - even if all you want is a glass. It's very spacious and comfortable. Service was very slow - we thought we might have been forgotten. But hopefully that was just because they were busy doing good business and not a reflection on the employees themselves. We were happy to sit and chat, but had we been in a hurry this could have been inconvenient. The wines are good but none stand out to me. I appreciate that they had a good variety to choose from. Overall, there are plenty of other places around here that have good wine and good views and are more easily accessible.

Yelp
This is a gorgeous winery with views for days. It was a Sunday and we had a reservation for 11am (it seemed to be the only slot left on their website). When we arrived, the place was practically empty which made me wonder how the reservation options were so barren. Maybe they hold some spots open for walk-ins? That said, by the time we left around 1:30, the place was pretty packed. I have to say, the star of the show here is really the views. The wine left much to be desired. I disliked all the wines in the mixed flight with the exception of the Albariño. After that, I had a glass of red that I did enjoy (the name is escaping me) but probably only because I was with my wine expert friend who knows exactly what to order for me. The service was slow outside with a long line forming. It seemed there was a newer person working that day. The wind was incredibly strong on this day, so strong that glasses from the upper deck were whisked off the table and smashed onto the patio below. Good thing no one was sitting down there or it would've been a nightmare situation. I'm glad I stopped by for the views but I've had better service and better wines at other wineries in the area. I would come back but probably avoid the flight and stick with that I know next time.

Yelp
The views are amazing! Picture perfect!! Played hooky on a warm autumn day and made a trip here. Didn't need a reservation but maybe on weekends it might be better to do that. The place is huge but the parking doesn't seem as ample. The service was ok. Our group of three did flights. There was no real explanation or friendliness from the staff. Just handed the wines to us. We also ordered some bites. They were out of the baked brie, which I wanted to try. The buffalo dip and hummus tray were good. The wines were just ok. I enjoyed the rose (donkey) the most. Not enough to get a bottle to take home with me. The reason for my rating - the bugs!! It was overbearing and made the experience less pleasant. Didn't end up staying as long as we wanted to.
google avatar

Clara S.

Yelp
First off, the views are impeccable. We sat on the balcony on the second floor and we could get a panoramic view of the vineyards. The baked Brie was super yummy and the wine tasting was great. We ended up buying a bottle of The Donkey rose wine, because we loved it so much (note: I usually don't like rose, but this was an exception). Service was good. Definitely coming back for more wine tasting!

Yelp
I'd heard great things about this winery-- it was supposed to be the highlight of our day trip and instead it wasn't just the worst winery experience of the day, it was the worst winery I've ever been to. I made a reservation for a party of 12 and was charged about $25 a head (including 18% tip) deposit that would go toward our bill. We were sat inside in a large area that essentially had no windows (or none that you could actually see out of while sitting). We put in an order of drinks and then basically never saw our server again during our two hour reservation. No one checked in to see how we liked our drinks or whether we wanted to order more. I had a glass of the Viognier, which I actually enjoyed quite a bit, but everyone who ordered flights didn't have many positive things to say. A couple girls looked at the menu and were going to order food...personally, I was planning on desert. But again, there would have had to be a human around for us to put in an order. About an hour and a half in I went to use the restroom. At which point I realized that the smaller dining room facing the patio was COMPLETELY empty. The patio had maybe 2 two tops.... and was entirely empty. Complete w a gorgeous view. When I asked for the check, they tried to charge me full price (I.e., without including the $300 deposit I already paid). So to recap- horrible seating (just because), horrible (non existent) service while charging 18% grat, and shameless attempt at taking advantage of the customer by double charging. It's a no for me. Edited to add - they charged us gratuity TWICE. And calculated it including the balance that we already tipped on (including the original tip). Like we tipped on the value we had already paid (including the first tip). WOW. Receipts attached.

Yelp
The view cannot be beat. Love the wine flights and local music. We had a fantastic time for a girls' day.

Yelp
The Bluemont Vineyard is such a beautiful, beautiful location. Wow! Even the drive up to it, is so scenic, please don't fall asleep when approaching the Bluemont Vineyard, even if your route is a bit longer to arrive here. It is a massive land with tons of grape vines. Right next to the vineyard is the Dirt Farm Brewery, both are owned by the Zurschmeide family. On this trip I only got to visit the vineyard. I was in awe at the beauty of this vineyard. It makes you feel like a drop in the ocean or like you're standing on top of the world. Lucky for us, it was a beautiful fall day, a perfect day to be outside. There were so many people doing the same. There were a few bachelorette parties here also. I got a mulled wine. My wine came in a paper cup for coffee. This was a bit disappointing. Why couldn't I get a proper mug? Everyone who got traditional wine, got theirs in a wine glass. They're obviously not holding back on mugs because of loss prevention. A wine glass breaks much easier than a mug. Anyway, while I did enjoy the mulled wine, I can't say it was my favorite. I've had much better at other places in the area. It was their apple red wine. I would still stop by here again when I'm in the area. The view is truly breathtaking. I wish the presentation of the mulled wine and the quality of the wine was up to par.
google avatar

Andre A.

Yelp
The layout and view are really nice and what stood out to us the most. The service was solid and the wine was overall nice. It's a self guided tasting so we had to go off the description to get a sense of how they tasted. I personally prefer wineries where they guide you through the tasting, but that isn't a deal breaker. We also tried some of the appetizers. The raspberry cheesecake was pretty good but the roasted broccoli and cauliflower needed work. All in all it's a beautiful winery that should definitely be considered if you are in the area.

Yelp
I came with a group of friends for a bachelorette party a few weekends ago. We did have a reservation for an outdoor table and the weather perfect. It was crowded but the service was very fast and the wine was great. Definitely recommend "the cow" white wine. All in all we had an amazing time and will be back soon!

Yelp
We came here to celebrate a friend's graduation, and it was a magical time. The vineyard is absolutely gorgeous and just so breathtaking from the top. We all did a wine tasting and had lunch. Their whites were definitely my favorite, as their reds could have been better. The food was also good, but not spectacular. My favorite parts were the meatballs and the mac and cheese. I also want to point out that the service by the staff attending us was nothing less than perfect and they made sure everything was as expected.
google avatar

Yelp
Location was perfect (should've taken more pictures). Plenty of available parking. Several comfortable seating spaces with great views. Great wine selection. Food options were also very good. Not much interaction with staff, but very friendly and professional service. Definitely a family friendly environment that could offer a diverse range of experiences and views.

Yelp
Ok service can be a little tough sometimes - but GLUTEN FREE PIZZA - gluten free baguettes- and tasty wine (the cab franc is delish!!) and the best view I've seen anywhere .... Brewery and farm across the street as well... just a fabulous place to spend the day visiting their various business and topping it off with a drink and a view !!

Yelp
Went here yesterday with my boyfriend. I thought the atmosphere was really beautiful, especially the outdoors. The service was good, but their menu was extremely limited apparently due to renovations. I did the wine tasting and I prefer sweet wines, but they only had dry wines which I really didn't have a choice but to select something to drink. The food was pretty good. I got their meatballs which were huge, but they tasted good. It came with a side of bread. My boyfriend had the broccoli and cheese soup and that was good. We would want to return in the spring and check out their food menu and also appreciate the outdoors in warmer weather.

Yelp
Great food and a great tour so far. Our tour guide was fantastic. I believe his name was bill. Nice scenery. Great people. Very relaxed and chill. About to eat. I will finish posting later.

Yelp
Bluemont vineyard was a very pleasant visit on a chilly Tuesday afternoon. Situated on a sloped hill, about an hour away from Arlington, VA, Bluemont vineyard boasts one of the prettier views out of vineyards in the Nova area. While the distance leaves something to be desired, they more than make up for it in variety of wine and food options. The staff, welcoming and helpful, are more than happy to answer any questions you might have about the wines or the manufacturing process. Overall a good venue. May need to be in a specific mood to want to venture this far out, but for folks that are closer or don't mind the drive, definitely worth a visit
google avatar

Rebecca H.

Yelp
This is probably my favorite winery within driving distance from DC. The wine flight I had was great. Both the whites and reds were good. The food here was delicious too. I really enjoyed the flatbread and the baguette with cheese. The views are phenomenal. I loved the seating area where you could look out and enjoy the view while sipping your wine.
google avatar

Yelp
Overall my family and I had a wonderful time at Bluemont. We came here with my sisters Friends to celebrate their PhD graduation. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious, and the servers were very nice and efficient. I will say there was one slightly older blonde haired woman working down near the register where you can buy gifts and memorabilia. She wasn't very nice to my family and I initially when we arrived and seemed annoyed to serve us. My family was in town from California so before we left, we grabbed some wine glasses and wines to take home and as we were checking out the line, my dad brought up a couple of other things he wanted to purchase. There was a gentleman in line behind us and she looked behind my stepmother at the gentleman behind us and said " boy you're being really patient," I guess that was her passive/aggressive way of telling us we were taking too long and shouldn't be bringing up extra items to purchase. She def had an attitude as she was checking us out. I watched her with other customers and she was much nicer. I would still go back it was a beautiful place!

Yelp
Great views from a very nice vineyard and tasting house tucked in the hills of Bluemont, VA. We came here this past weekend for a friend's Birthday celebration by way of a party bus/shuttle service and got a friendly reception. The wine was great and the food exceptional. Lots of menu options that pair well with your wine. We tried a number of food items and two flights of six wines each were offered. The Signature flight was $20. Bottles were available for purchase, at a price point between $18-$42 dollars. I found the wines to be on the light side, but they were all good. Even though I'm not a white wine drinker, the Albarino offered was one of the best wines and had a bit more texture among the whites. I'm more of a Red Wine --Cab and Shiraz guy, so I did not find reason to pursue additional wines. I mainly stayed with the Cab for the day. To sum it all up. We had a great time and experience; not to mention the views were amazing....... My recommended food picks were the: * Warmed Brie plate * California Club Flatbread Pizza * Maryland Crab Dip w/ White Baguette * Key Lime Pie My wine picks and standouts in our party were the: * Cabernet Sauvignon Franz * Peach Bellini Sangria (Grape & Peach Wine Blend) * The Donkey (House Red Wine) -- reminded me of "Mad Dog 20/20"....but don't mind me. It served its purpose and plus, I digress. lol In all we enjoyed ourselves and it was a great day trip and escape from city.....only a little over an hour drive from DC! The vineyard is a family owned and run business; and the folks there were so friendly. We were a large group of 18 people and were accommodated extremely well. Our servers were so attentive and helpful in answering questions about their wines. The service was on point too. We'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Guli K.

Yelp
The views itself were beautiful, however, we also came for the wine and the wine was not good. Ordered the signature flight which consisted of 3 whites, a rose and 2 reds for $16. While I sampled all 6 of them, I did not want a second sip of any of them. The rest of the party that opted for the wine tasting also felt the same way. They also offered an elevated tasting option for $22. The spot is kid and dog friendly and they also serve food.
google avatar

Vanessa R.

Yelp
Loved visiting Bluemont. Great wine and beautiful views. Spent most of our time out in the patio. Enjoyed a flight of the reds and ended up ordering a bottle of the Malbec. Make sure to try their delicious, warm baguettes!! This was my second visit and I'll definitely be back in the future.
google avatar

Janelle Y.

Yelp
Beautiful views, tasty wine, good vibes, plenty of seating, terrible service. The person at register was not helpful at all and seemed uninterested in being there.
google avatar

Naana S.

Yelp
Bluemont is one of my favorite Vinyards in the area! The view is absolutely gorgeous and the service is consistently quick. The baled brie and buffalo dip was very tasty and the charcuterie had a wide variety of cheeses, meats, nuts, fruits & veggies. Always very calm and serene, will definitely be going back soon!
google avatar

Adrienne B.

Yelp
It's a beautiful vineyard with a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. The food menu has gotten a lot bigger since we went last year. The Bavarian pretzel is our favorite! They also have a lot of outdoor yard games for kids.
google avatar

Cassy W.

Yelp
Came here for a ladies group meet up. The vineyard has a great view with a huge outdoor space, overall the service was pretty great for such a large group (about 40). I did not try any of the wines, due to the heat, I was purely there for wine slushees; which were great! The one downside to this vineyard is their food. I ordered the carnitas tacos and they were honestly drenched in BBQ sauce and something else to the point where they were inedible. A couple of the other ladies ordered flatbreads which were *okay*. I would recommend coming for the wine, but probably skipping the food.
google avatar

Sharyn L.

Yelp
Beautiful vistas at this expansive winery at the top of a mountain. Friendly staff, lots of outdoor seating, heaters on the patio, Cornhole, and... Best of all super dog friendly! Dogs are allowed inside the tasting room! The menu is limited but tasty. We got the cheese flatbread, brie/prosciutto/fig/arugula flatbread, and the meat lovers. I saw the fresh mozzarella flatbread on the way out and would get that next time :). We also ordered the broccoli cheddar soup which was solid. We got a bottle of the farm table red which was perfectly drinkable and paired well with the pizza. The tasting room is beautiful and we will definitely return when the weather is warmer and we can be outside!
google avatar

Nat M.

Yelp
A beautiful vineyard with amazing views as it sit along a hilltop. Great flatbread pizza and wine. Highly recommend taking a tour which includes samples of wine. They have 3 different areas, one of which primarily serves beer and cider.

Melissa P.

Yelp
The view was lovely, the wine was okay, but the service was awful. When we went up to the counter to order, we asked what wines were on each flight and we had to wait while they printed out the lists. One would think this would be something they would have on hand. We ordered food as well and when the food arrived at our table, I asked for a knife and was told, "Silverware is over there, " and given an accompanying head twitch. Our group will not be returning.
google avatar

Ashlee A.

Yelp
Bit of a journey but it was worth it for girls days. Make the right, not the left! Visiting on a Saturday, it was fairly empty as I assume we got there 'early'. Such beautiful views and I love how you're just sitting and overlooking it all. We even went down the hill to the grapes to snap some pics! Ordering was easy, though I suggest not showing up starving. We ordered the artichoke dip that came warm + bread and a charcuterie board. Everything was good but as for napkins/covers because those wasps were on a vengeance after about 15 minutes. We stayed for around 2 hours and thoroughly enjoyed the flights, food, and each other's company. Would visit again!

Yelp
This was one of the coolest wineries that I noticed about after reviewing all of the wineries in the area early on. However you had to make a reservation for room to have a tasting. They had many options where you had to reserve on your credit card. I didn't get outside because I didn't know if it would be cold or somewhat warm, it turned out to be one of the warmest days in November. When you drive to Bluemont Vineyard, you enter the Vineyard and see Goat and Sheep in the vineyards, which is amazing. They have an apple orchard on the bottom that belongs to a cider near by. We arrived and was greeted and seated. Everyone was nice. We got some food and let me tell you, hands down they had the best view out of any of the vineyards that we had visited on the weekend. Now we both tried a 8 different wines. I geared towards the dry reds. I have to say not really a single red wine that I enjoyed. I was disappointed and hoped that I would like them. They were dry to the point it tasted like they were 0% residual sugar levels, with no good tastes from the wine. I'm hoping that I chose the wrong wines to choose from. Overall great place to visit, and look forward to trying it again.

Yelp
We had a reservation at the Reserve. It is an adult only section and had only opened in April 2022. Much more secluded. Less noisy. Parking is on the hill. It's very rocky. If you are wearing heels, get dropped off. Not a far walk, only precarious if wearing heels. Every month they have a theme by varietal or region. And they throw in some of their wines. Because it was July, aka 4th of July and Bastille day, it was american wines and French varieties. Kathleen was our server and extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. She gave us a warm welcome. We chose to sit outside and enjoy the view. The view was incredible!!! We were on a lovely shaded patio but there were also numerous Adirondack chairs in the lawn and a swing. There was a large party of 15, celebrating two birthdays on the porch with us. This was their first large party. They were a little loud once in awhile but it was ok. The upside was that we got to hear a description of the wine first at their table before we heard it at ours. We started with the whites... an Elizabeth Spencer Sauvignon Blanc with hints of apples. Next was a sweeter, very smooth Semillon from Washington State. Lastly the Albariño from Blumont Vineyards. I bought a bottle of the Albariño. A bonus from Kathleen, knowing we love Italian wines, was a rose from Costello di Rossi rose from last month's theme. It was 70% Sangiovese and 30% Sauvignon. So delicious. Crisp. Reds... Contra Costa County Mourvedre and then another red which was a Syrah. Both great but I forgot to take more notes. All the wines were delicious. The tasting was good - cheese and local fruit. The chocolate from Conche were off the charts delicious. OMG- strawberry basil was an explosion of flavor in my mouth! We went to there afterward to get more chocolates ! Next month- everything but Chardonnay! It surpassed my expectation. Highly recommend!

Yelp
The views alone are worth the trip! Add to that the port "The Pig" and I cannot imagine being in the area in the future without a stop at BlueMont. Next time I will get a flatbread because even as much as I enjoyed the cheese tray, I was envious of the table next to us. If you are looking for a nice start to a self-guided wine tour in this area, this is the right place to begin!

Yelp
This winery is super cute to not only sip wine on the patio, but also to have a picnic among the vines and even for activities -- their grape stomping experience was a huge hit for a girl's weekend activity! In the Fall, you must try the grape stomping experience. For around $40 you get a glass of wine of your choose, a tea towel of your choice, and then get directed to a cute grape stomping bucket to have at it experiencing what it's like to stomp grapes. Once you're done reveling in the experience and taking pictures with the gorgeous mountains in the background, you lay your tea towel out in front of your barrel and step on it with your grape stained feet to make a pattern to keep as a souvenir afterwards. It's such a unique little activity to do at the vineyard! The staff is super nice and I highly recommend buying a bottle and sitting among the vines with a picnic blanket for a relaxing and beautiful ambiance! The first two rows of the vineyard are for picnic purposes only.

Yelp
Beautiful scenery! I really enjoyed this winery. The service was great and the views are amazing. There's so many seating options (with rsvp of course)...we sat at the Overlook Bar area for a great view. I definitely recommend this winery for any occasion (outing with friends or with a date). There were other surrounding wineries and breweries in the area so start early and visit the others as well.

Yelp
VIEWS ON VIEWS. A beautiful vineyard. I ordered the flight 6 dog rent wines. Very reasonable price. I want to say it was about 21 or 24 dollars. We didn't do a tour. We sat down and enjoyed the view sipping on wine and picking at flat breads and spinach dip with warm bread. if your going around October / November come prepared! It was super windy and I was wearing a dress we all had to purchase a blanket ($40) or bring your own blanket Food and wine were great also the service was A1

I will start off with saying I would give the views, the atmosphere, and the location 5 stars. They have several options for seating arrangements when you book online (all are dog-friendly!!). Each seating location has a fair amount of shade, which is great for the sunny days. I enjoyed several food items off the brunch menu, as well as several of the wines. One thing I did not love was the service- poor service. The barcode to scan for the menu was not working, it took close to 20 minutes to print us a menu (a big deal with their is a 2 hour time limit that they WILL enforce). After ordering a flight of wine, the flight was simply dropped at the table and we were told "go online to see which wine is which". After the flight was done, we ordered a bottle of wine- which again was simply dropped off at the table, the waitress could not so much as open it for us. Really disappointed in the service; but the wine and food was delicious so I would consider going back. Also note it seems several wine tours (with buses) visit this winery, so it does get packed fast. Make sure you have a reservation!

Yelp
My husband and I became members of this winery in January of 2023. This was our 2nd visit, and we went for the pickup party at the barn. The barn is lovely. We also visited the VIP area for members and had a light brunch and wine. The service is not good but they were friendly. We went on a very nice day, so the view was gorgeous, and it was very nice to sit outside overlooking the Blue Ridge mountains. The food is not the best, but it's good enough to soak up the wine!

Yelp
All I can say is breathtaking views! Visited on Saturday afternoon and couldn't be more impressed with the location of this venue. Enjoyed the sangria pitcher, charcuterie board, crab dip and flatbread pizza. Unfortunately, I didn't taste any of the wine so I can't comment on that but I do plan on going back and to enjoy a tasting. Service was friendly and fast from start to finish. Do yourself a favor and check out Bluemont Vineyard, I promise you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Spectacular vineyard in Leesburg VA! We made the drive from Maryland to celebrate our anniversary and had the most amazing time! The views of the grape vines and land are breathtaking. We decided to do the flight so we can try all the wines and omg, I highly recommend it! All of the wines are delicious and we loved it so much that we bought a bottle to bring home with us. Loved this place!

Yelp
Another vineyard. More wine. Another amazing spot. We hit up a bunch of these while visiting fam in the area The views are almost unreal. They seem to go on for miles in every direction. The fresh air and breeze made us never want to leave. Enjoying life with terrific people is why you come here. Tasty wines and charcuterie boards. Terrific deck to enjoy on and drink to the views.

Yelp
Pro tip: Drive further up the mountain for the second parking lot so you don't have to make that steep walk up the gravel driveway unless you want a crazy workout to earn your food and wine. TASTING FLIGHT: 6 different wines offered in the Flagship tasting which includes Farm Table White, Vidal Blanc, Rose, Farm Table Red, Petit Manseng and Chambourcin. We opted for 2 glasses of the Chambourcin which was fruit forward but still dry. FOOD: Baked Brie: this dish was super weird - it was sliced pieces of sub rolls with a small container of brie with jam and sliced almonds - it was difficult to eat on the soggy bread and the flavor was just meh Charcuterie Flatbread: really surprised at how crispy and delicious this flatbread was and would definitely get this again VIEWS/ATMOSPHERE/SERVICE: Panoramic, breathtaking and it doesn't get old. Lots of seating options but reservations are highly recommended. Service was very attentive, no complaints. I've been to this winery twice and loved both visits, will definitely come out for a third later this summer!

Yelp
I am mortified, horrified and down right disgusted with this spot. The spot was infested with stink bugs. I never seen such a horrible thing in my entire life. Next, I felt cheated out of a great experience that we paid for when it seems like they threw us wherever. We were a party of 18 and paid for a private area/room which we did not get. Also, we paid for wine tasting that we did in one glass but walked downstairs and saw others with multiple glasses for wine tasting. I am traumatized with this disgusting spot. How the hell are people giving them a 5 star rating. Stay away or you will be traumatized by the infestation of stink bugs. One flew on my lip.

Yelp
Incredible views, friendly service, good wine, fun times! Wine flights are a great way to try it all and share with friends.

Yelp
Fantastic winery with a majestic view of beautiful, rolling hills. I was here in the fall on a Sunday afternoon. There were plenty of people seated throughout the winery. Out server was very polite and pleasant. We ordered the seasonal flight. I absolutely loved the Autumn Apple wine. It had the perfect balance of dry and sweetness. We also had pita, hummus, carrots, whipped feta with olives dip, then we had a cheese with tomato flatbread.

Yelp
We have been to a lot of wineries in the Loudoun County area, and Bluemont Vineyard is perhaps my favorite of all. Granted, this perspective is based on a mid week visit when it was very quiet. I can tell that they are often very busy due to the number of seats that are available. They have an excellent view, and really good local wine. I especially like wine that is made with the Norton grape because it can actually be grown in Virginia. The mid week ambience is hard to beat. All of the staff there are chill and patient with you as you decide what to eat and drink :-). One of their more curious items, served in the summer, is a wine slushy. We tried it, but found it to be quite sweet. If you're adventuresome, and I like sweet wine, on a hot day, you'll probably love it.

Yelp
Such an amazing location for a relaxing winery experience! We came here for a girls day out and it did not disappoint! Reservations are required and you also are required to provide a credit card to reserve you spot. There are multiple seating areas and your reservation is based on what area you want to sit in. The only negative to this is that if you have never been there before, you aren't entirely clear about what spot you are reserving. However, all of the areas are pretty nice (and covered), if just depends on your preference. We sat on the main balcony area. There is a 2-hour seating limit that is very much enforced. I would suggest bringing a blanket so that you can go sit on the lawn after your time is up. The view is gorgeous! We ordered a few wine flights and a peach wine slushy, along with a cheese plate, spinach dip, and flat bread. Everything was delicious. The employees were super friendly and helpful. There was also a live performance. Overall, I would recommend this spot for a nice day trip outside of the city!

Yelp
I left a retreat this morning and wanted to stop at a winery after, because I knew this part of VA had some amazing view. Bluemont Vineyards was open. As I drove up I said what an amazing view I knew I had selected the right one. The views are breathtaking. Becca the marketing manager was working today. She is one of the sweetest, friendliest, people I have every met. She explained every wine to me , told me history about the winery, as sis did her face lit up. She selected some wines based on what I told here I like and she delivered. Becca, thank you so much for making this a special day for me.

Yelp
Came to check out the 'Crush With Us' experience and then grab food and wine after. The experience was okay and cute. It wasn't my favorite thing but I could definitely see others enjoying it. After this experience, we then made a reservation to grab food and drinks. Immediately got a weird vibe from the staff along with any other worker we came in contact with. They don't seem too friendly to POC so for that reason alone I won't return. Also to note the wine tasted so cheap and we couldn't differentiate the difference between any that we tried in the flight we ordered. To top off the bees are vicious there. Couldn't enjoy the experience because they were in your face every 5 seconds. Wouldn't personally recommend.

Yelp
I made a reservation over a month ago and when we got there the place was packed! The pros are that the view is gorgeous and the wines are all really good! However, there are several cons! Only 1 server for the entire patio and 1 person behind the bar! My server also told me to go inside and see how packed the place was as if I already didn't know then when settling the bill she informed me of the 20% gratuity which she did not deserve! Highly understaffed! It took over an hour just to get our flights and it took 2 hours to get food which we ended up having to take in to go bags because we had another winery to go too! I prepaid for 12 people but only 9 ended up coming and could not get a refund;however, the table behind us ended up getting a refund and they left before even being served!
