My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to BlueNose Coffee, in Farmington! The warm, inviting atmosphere was perfect for a heart to heart conversation. Their Americanos, with half and half, were delicious! Also, we both enjoyed our scones: blueberry & white chocolate and raspberry & white chocolate. I definitely want to return. ❤️ ☕️

We have never been disappointed in anything we've ordered from Blue Nose. We've tried several coffees, smoothies, Chai tea, breakfast items and soup. Service has always been good and it was great sitting by the fireplace inside on this extremely cold day. Keep up the good work!

Friendly staff, fair prices. I came here to study for an exam (free wifi here!) for several hours and enjoyed the ambiance. I really appreciate that they had gluten free baked goods, I haven’t seen this much variety anywhere else before. The bakery items do sell quite fast, though. For those with severe allergies, the baked goods are made in a dedicated GF bakery in Minneapolis called Sift. I enjoyed a muffin, and a pumpkin pie chai, which were both lovely.

Great coffee shop serving delicious coffee and bakery items. The waffle latte, flavored with honey and maple, was perfect with just a bit of sweetness. The blueberry scone paired perfectly. The outdoor seating area is so cute, and the flowers are beautiful! Highly recommend.

Incredible coffee, service and atmosphere. Even the restrooms are clean and welcoming. I was gifted some Tanzania Peaberry while back, by a true coffee fiend, and knew I’d be here soon. (The candy jars full of coffee beans and various teas made me feel right at home). I’ll be back. *My job changed and Im not nearby so Ive been mail ordering via their website. If I order enough, they pay the postage. Ive added a video of my recent order. Beyond thrilled and I’m posting it everywhere!* (I’ve yet to try their food)

Love the place. Love supporting a local mom-and-pop business. The only negative is the asking for tips before your drink is ready. I know it's optional but you feel awkward if you don't. Maybe if they had a way to allow you to tap your card in the drive-thru it wouldn't feel so awkward. I know a lot of people feel the same way.

Too many times I’ve gotten a latte in the drive thru and not tasted any espresso at all in my latte. I dont know if they forget or don’t like some customers. ( am referring to the James Dean meets the Fonz wannabe) It doesn’t matter because I’ll NEVER go here again. Small business or not this place needs to get it together.

One of the few coffee shops that still welcomes their customers to sit together, read books, and have conversation in a cozy atmosphere. Some of the best coffee across the southern metro! Hands down will choose Bluenose over any other coffee shop every day.

What a cute little gem here in Farmington! When you walk in, not only will you fall in love with the delicious smells in here, but you will also be immediately greeted by a friendly face. We took some time to look at their gifts, and was so tempted to but their coffee mug candle! They were a bit busy while we were there, but the barista was so nice and the coffee came out lightning quick. Their patio is small but decorated with an abundance of beautiful flower arrangements and hanging baskets. It was the perfect place for our little family to sit and enjoy our treats. What we ordered: Seasonal Chai Frappe - not too sweet and loaded with delicious chai spices, topped off with whip cream and a sprinkle of additional spice Hot Chocolate - not your run of the mill powdered stuff- quality chocolate and a topping of fresh whipped cream White Chocolate & Blueberry Scone - (the last one in the case, score!) so crisp on the outside, pillowy soft on the inside, and topped off with crunchy sugar - perfection! They have a ton of loose tea and fresh coffee beans to take home if you are into that also!

My son always loves coming here and I stopped in for a meeting. Full confession - I hate coffee. My friend had a coffee drink and enjoyed it. I tried the toasted marshmallow hot cocoa and it was very good. It wasn't served as hot as I expected so they may tone down the temperature. Service was good. BlueNose has a nice relaxing atmosphere too.

I love this new found coffee shop. It's close to Trinity care center and a welcoming stop when visiting family there. I've had the ice chai latte and two different iced coffee drinks with oat milk and all were delicious. The pastries and bagels were great too. Highly recommend the caramel bran muffin and scones. There a good gluten free section for treats as well. I also loved the turkey apple cheddar sandwich I had. Great ambiance and food/coffee. They also have a drive thru if you're in a hurry. Definitely check it out.

Came here for an early morning coffee with my hubby and literally am always greeted with a smile and friendly warmth from the team. This is my favorite coffee shop in the local area and one I love to come too for personal meetings or some "me" time. I got the usual, Americano, and my hubby got the Waffle Latte (one of the most popular drinks). We also decided to get the last Blueberry White Chocolate scone, yum!! I love coming here, always feels like a treat. And when I leave, I always feel much more relaxed... just something about the ambiance and the calming environment of this quaint little coffee shop. Seriously a local hidden gem and one I encourage locals to visit if they haven't already!

Adorable spot! I had no idea this place existed until I did some local exploring and stumbled upon it. The inside is really darling. Lots of places to sit, cozy decor...I'll definitely have to try to go back to do some work there. The coffee was also very good. I got their brown sugar latte (iced) which was yummy, although a bit sweet! It's always a gamble for me getting flavors and I really need to get better at specifying that I don't like my coffee too sweet. Only negative I found about this place was that there wasn't much food selection. I did come a bit later (around 11:30am) so maybe I came too late. But all they had were donuts and coffee cake, so come early if you're looking for food and a coffee!

After seeing the cute story on Twin Cities Live we decided to try and drive from Burnsville! we'll totally dissapointed. we wanted to try their flights of coffee only to find out no cups for flights and their expresso machine wasn't working! so basically couldn't make us anything HOT. Really? we drive from Burnsville to try this place and wanted to patronize local companies but didn't offer us anything so will NOT go back! why advertise if you can't deliver the goods?

Don't humiliate your customers. On an iced drink my daughter has been getting on a regular weekly basis, it was suddenly made 'hot'. No big deal, then the employee, at this time visibly upset that the drink (an $8.00 plus drink by the way) needed to be an iced version, informed her with a very unfriendly attitude that that drink is always a 'hot' drink. Interesting, he had made that drink many many times before. On top of that, 2 of my family members have been exclusively buying their bulk beans from this location, even getting on the monthly delivery when that started, UNTILL this incident and suddenly the shop cancelled her subscription. WOW...

Nice selection of loose leaf teas. I appreciate the drive thru they have for those days you just don't want to go in. Locally owned, highly recommend. I buy bread from here too

I accidentally stumbled into this coffee shop because I was in need of caffeine and in front of the door--destiny? Friendly, chatty service (but not too chatty), fast coffee making, and a really good latte with whole milk. The latte is smooth and properly creamy without a burned flavor. Louie Armstrong sets a fitting tone for this little shop. There are two cozy seating sections divided by a working fireplace. It has a slightly frumpled look of loved use--piles of games on the shelf and a few tables of quiet conversations. This is a find for sure.

I come to blue nose at least a couple of times a week, I go thru the drive thru. Every single time they ask if I want to tip!! If I want to tip I would let them know right!!! I am not going there anymore because it is getting old!! I find it rude to demand a tip every single time!!

The service was fast, lots of people working. We went inside and I honestly didn't love how clustered it was with decor. I ordered the brown sugar latte but got a brown sugar cinnamon latte because they said the brown sugar doesn't dissolve in an iced drink. I personally think there's a better way to go about this, you could 100% boil it in water to make a brown sugar syrup so that was a bit disappointing. My boyfriend got the rocky road mocha and it was OK. After not liking my brown sugar latte, I decided to order an iced vanilla latte because that's my determining factor of if I will come back to a coffee shop or not, and it was not my favorite either. The syrup was off.

I ordered a Lorraine scone and a vanilla peppermint mocha. The coffee and scone was amazing! The staff are super friendly and my order was out quick. The shop is a great place to sit and chat with a friend or get some work done, there are many tables around and a chill vibe

This was our time to go to Blue Nose but it won't be our last. The coffee and baked goods were exceptional. Definitely worth a stop when you are in the south metro.

I went to this place for the 1st time 4 weeks ago. The customer service is phenomenal!They give you a really warm welcome and make you feel appreciated. I have been traveling to this place at least once to twice a week.Thats how amazing the coffee and the customer service is.

Great coffee shop vibes, friendly service, and tasty coffee. You won't get the National brand, sugar loaded coffee and espresso here, but a local blend of flavor and depth. If you can grab a tasty bakery item before they are sold out, all the better. You'll want to linger and take in the decor and smells of fresh coffee while you sip and talk with friends. A great local spot and deserve to be supported!

Must stop if you're in the area! We tried an iced depth charge and iced vanilla latte both were delicious! The latter had the perfect amount of flavor without being too sweet.

BlueNose is a really charming coffee shop with a robust menu of offerings for those of you needing a quality caffeine fix. If you're "on the run", there's a convenient drive through window. However, even better, is the seating and work space available inside. Comfortable couches for chatting and networking, high tops for working while using their wifi, or just relaxing by the fireplace. Whatever your mood, it's a stop worth making. Really friendly service as well.

What a great coffee shop! OMG I loved medium roast,flavor on point! Totally did the job and picked me up! Loved the environment, so cozy. Wow the amount of teas, crazy! Drive thru, awesome! It was fall when we visited, they decorated really well. They had HUGE pumpkins! Nice outdoor seating too.

Best coffee shop in the area! Love their seasonal drinks but they have the best iced vanilla lattes and iced white chocolate mochas. We're so lucky to have this place in town!! Will choose Blue Nose over Starbucks or Caribou any day.

The really cool sign on the building caught my eye and the fact that it had a drive-thru was a bonus. I don't drive down RT3 that often and had no idea this was there. I initially ordered the Waffle Latte (latte with honey and maple syrup) but since I ordered it iced, the staff was kind enough to suggest I either get it hot or try a different drink since the maple and honey wouldn't dissolve very well in iced. I instead got the brown sugar latte with oat milk and an extra shot and it was really great. Definitely better than Starbucks' equivalent! I also got a slice of the pumpkin coffee cake and it was amazing - fresh and moist. I only wish this place was closer to Minneapolis so it could be my new go-to!

nice quaint little coffee shop in the area. I love that it was clean had a large selection of not only coffee but tea as well. Some nice food selections also and I adore the little logo on their t-shirts. They also have a coffee that helps support homeless animals and i'm all about that so I highly recommend if your in the area make a little stop.

Blue Nose in Farmington serves some of the best coffee I've had from a café. I've had some of the best of the best, including pure Jamaican Blue Mountain pour-overs by the cup from the famous Philz Coffee in the San Francisco Bay area. Wife & I stopped by Blue Nose Coffee while visiting family in Farmington. I ordered the Butter Coffee and wife had the Hazlenut Latte. Both drinks were delicious. We also bought two bags of whole coffee beans (India Malabar and Peabody varieties) as we have a semi-pro espresso maker at home. The beans had been freshly roasted, and they were of excellent quality. The service was also friendly. Aside from family, Blue Nose Coffee is the only other place we look forward to when visiting Farmington. The town is lucky to have a place like this! P.S. please open a branch down in Des Moines, Iowa! :-)

The employees are so sweet!!! And their caramel frappe with two shots of espresso was super good. I also appreciate that they asked me if I wanted a hot shot of espresso or a cold shot, which isn't something that people ask a lot and it is a detail that makes all the difference in a drink. Especially when it's a favorite of mine. If I'm ever in the area I'm definitely going to be here working, drinking, or eating from here if I have a chance. Love! Also aside from their drinks they have an immaculate vibe. It makes you think of the cool aunt Who lives in the Twin Cities and had a Prius before it was cool.

Coffee: Delicious. So glad that I came here for a nice cup and to get work done. They offer many different roasts in terms of beans that you can order and pickup at any time. They have all of the traditional coffee orders in a variety of sizes, and are quick to fulfill your order and will take it to you wherever you are sitting! Environment: A comfortable environment. My only complaint is that there isn't a ton of natural light and it can be a little dark for my taste, though many people might prefer it that way. There are enough plug-ins for charging if you need, just make sure to scout a table near one. There is a nice variety of seating including tall tables, short tables, lounge chairs, and a couch. There is a fireplace that I am sure warms the space nicely, though was not on when I went. The shop is in a unique location, right along highway 3, in a short strip mall. I would have preferred it closer to or in a downtown to boost foot traffic. The shop accommodates their location by having a drive-through window, which is slightly confusing to navigate. Service was excellent, kind, and quick. The servers will bring your drink to you where you are sitting which is an added bonus. Food Selection: The food selection seemed a little limiting in my opinion, and none of the selections looked particularly appetizing. For that reason, I did not order any. I would say that this is worth the experience if you are close by. I was able to get plenty of work done here. I would probably not drive very far to come here for the environment, though I think it is worth it if you purchase their roasted beans to take home. It all depends what you are looking for.

My husband and I love getting coffee here!! This business is local and the staff is friendly. They try their hardest to remember your name and your pets name!!! We've gone there so much they remember who drove the last time we went! That's attentiveness and there coffee and Chai tea is amazing!! Enjoy a nice coffee date or go here alone either way it's an enjoyable experience

I'm loving this local coffee spot. I've just moved to the Apple Valley / Lakeville area and so happy to have found this local joint. Great coffee, great sweet treats and loads of space to kick back and chill. Last but certainly not least, the folks working here are all so great!! So friendly, laid back and welcoming. I'll be back again and again!!

I absolutely love BlueNose! BlueNose has a wonderful variety of espresso and tea beverages, as well as Italian sodas, and bakery items. The cafe itself is adorable, but they also have a drive-thru, which I so appreciate during this time of COVID-19. My personal favorite beverage is an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it is phenomenal! A side note: the ice they used in their iced drinks is a smaller, more crushed ice, which I love - it makes such a difference. The staff is always so kind and friendly, and I appreciate the work that they do, both during and outside of quarantine. The prices at BlueNose are also so great. They are cheaper that what you find in the cities, but competitive for its location. I love that I am able to visit and support a local business, especially since their coffee is far better than that at a Starbucks or Caribou. If you're in the area or you're looking to switch up your caffeine routine, I highly recommend BlueNose! This place is a gem!

They were very quick to make my coffee every time I would come in. I ordered a carmel frappe and the coffee was rather icy and bland instead of fluffy and flavorful like I usually have it. There wasn't enough caffeine in it as well. It didn't give me a boost like coffee from Starbucks does, if you enjoy coffee for that- this is a big deal. But anyways, their building on the inside is nicely decorated and sort of cozy to sit in and enjoy your drink, which I appreciate.

Update: They have earned 8 stars. Owner showed up at Relay for Life in Farmington with free coffee, lemonade and ice tea for everyone. The drinks got great reviews from everyone who had some. New coffeehouse next to anytime fitness. I've really enjoyed the tea selections. They have a wall of different teas to chose from. I'm working my way through them. My best friend loves the coffee. They brewed 2 small cups for her when she came to buy a bag of beans for home so she could find the one she liked better. She was really impressed with the coffee and the staff who helped her. Would love a loyal customer program.

Great local coffee joint. Very welcoming atmosphere. Feel like I could sit down on a couch in there and be there for hours. Great coffee and the pastries are so tasty. Service and staff is down to earth and friendly.

Coffee here is absolutely the best! Incredible flavor on both the medium and dark roast and so fresh since it is roasted in house. Have been coming here for the last month and have even started buying my whole bean coffee from here for home. Great place to sit and work or catch up and enjoy a bottomless cup of coffee. The only reason for 4 vs 5 is the need for more desserts to enjoy with your coffee. Highly recommend if you love coffee.

I love this coffee shop. The coffee is fresh roasted on site and it is awesome. The cold press coffee is outstanding. The chai tea is great. The pastries are super fresh and delicious. They really care about quality and it shows. The space is cozy and relaxing.

Great spot for a coffee and a bite and a little time to write. A few miles out of the way from where I live but definitely worth the drive because of the cozy ambience. Staff has always been very friendly and helpful as well.

My family and I have visited BlueNose Coffee multiple times and we absolutely love it! Everything we have tried has always been delicious. I love the ambience and the artwork on the walls. I also love the friendly customer service. I've never left this cute little coffee shop without a smile on my face!! Thank you for everything you do! Keep it up! BlueNose has the best cold press I have ever had in my entire life and that is no exaggeration! It's strong and not watered down like some coffee shops! The staff here is always so nice and friendly too, my friends and I love coming here Saturday mornings for our coffees to sit on their cozy patio and relax! Also the bagels and muffins are so tasty, it's hard to resist getting them every time I walk in !! This place is worth driving out of the way to get my caffeine fix!!!

Love the decor and atmosphere, as well as the staff! I have tried the pumpkin spice latte and the waffle latte.. was not a fan of the pumpkin but enjoyed the waffle latte! I will definitely be back to try more of their seasonal flavors!

Stopped in last Saturday and was treated to a delicious, well balanced, light roast coffee. Flavor and low acidity beats anything the major coffee shops offer by a long shot. Very impressed and happy to see a quality roaster in town.

Poor service at the drive up This is the email I sent to them today.: I have gone through your drive up 3 times in the past couple of months and will say that today will be my last. Each time I have waited at least 15 minutes for a large latte- no flavors. This morning, I pulled into the drive up at 6::09 and left at 6:28. was asked to wait at the speaker for over 6 minutes and then the rest at the window. The girl inside was nowhere to be seen and there was not a soul in side because I got out and looked. The last time this happened, I stopped at 1 pm in the afternoon and there was a very pleasant young man at the window. He disappeared also and came back because I got out of my car to knock on the window. 15 minutes had passed. He said the girl inside forgot to make my coffee as she was talking and waiting on people who had walked in after I placed my order. I understand things take time and things happen but when 3 out of three stops at your coffee shop have been 20 to 30 minute waits with no valid reason, I will not be back.

Needed food and coffee so stopped here based on reviews. Had the broccoli cheddar soup, an everything bagel with cream cheese and an extra hot latte. Surpassed my expectations! Friendly, efficient service.
