11 Australian Coffee Shops for Laid-Back Morning Vibes in LA | Eater LA

"East Coast micro-chain Bluestone Lane is certainly making a splash in Los Angeles. The company has already signed on for multiple locations from the Valley to Venice, including a bright new option along La Brea. The Melbourne-inspired restaurant is more than just coffee and pastries, opening up several locations for dinner service as well, which means burgers, roasted vegetables, and of course a fried chicken sandwich." - Crystal Coser

We stayed at the Moxy Hotel and received breakfast credit at Bluestone Lane. It was just okay overall. The avocado toast was good, but the coffee could have been better. The selection is pretty limited, the service was attentive.

The advertise Aussie inspired cafe. That inspiration runs as deep as their coffee. Weak. The staff were pleasant and seating in the next door Moxy was comfortable. My salmon toast was pretty tasty. But there is no way that would could be served in Australia in such presentation without customers asking “what the hell is this?”

Definitely pricey, but the avocado toast and the peanut butter protein smooth were INSAAAAANE. haven't tried their coffee, so I can't speak on that. Staff was very friendly, and the service was fast! :)

I love coming to Bluestone Lane Cafe! Everything feels like home to me. I really love the atmosphere and the employees for making this the best experience ever. Thank you Jess, Marlene, Frida and Parker! Whoever is the manager m, excellent job. By the way, what are the employees full names so I can congratulate them?

They have basic coffee, tea, pastry, and protein shakes. The location was nice inside the hotel.

PAPER-FLAVORED COFFEE... eww. So I was unpleasantly surprised when I stopped by for a cup of coffee. My paper straw in my cold brew began to immediately dissolve when it was given to me! The coffee was already too bitter, add a paper taste, and I felt like I was drinking out of a recycling bin. I'm a major supporter of protecting our environment, but get good quality paper straws next time Bluestone. Service was okay, the staff seemed very stressed out and were short with a few of the Moxy guests and Anime Expo attendees. The place was busy and moderately noisy. I had a quick question about my breakfast sandwich that went missing and one of the girls cut me off. The dude who made the sandwiches was nice and the manager at the register was pleasant. I ordered a egg and greens sandwich, it was fine but the Vegemite spread on the bread kind of ruined it. I'm definitely not asking for a straw next time, nor am I asking for a Nitro Cold Brew or the egg and greens LOL. I'll come back as the baked treats looked amazing. This is overall a very convenient location as it's attached to the Moxy and right across the street from the Los Angeles Convention Center!

This cafe is super popular. Can be busy in the mornings. Their coffee drinks are delicious. We were very surprised how good their Salmon toast and egg burrito was. Everything on their menu is very fresh and delicious! Everything is to go, but they do have a nice lounge area in the moxy hotel to sit. Beautiful, Upscale place.

This spot is within a hotel, “The Moxy” and it’s a solid cafe to check out before you go to watch a Laker Game or go to the convention center. I got a latte with almond milk and it was delicious. The temperature was on point and the flavor was great. Customer service was excellent, nice & friendly staff. I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.
