Bluestone Lane Montauk Coffee Shop

We stopped here twice for coffee while we were in town and it didn’t disappoint. We tried out their new coconut water cold brew and it was tasty!

I bought a cappuccino here. I asked for a cup of water, which they tried to charge me for. When I mentioned they are obligated to provide tap water they said “I know but nothing I can do”. A poor look for a business. Cappuccino was okay.

Nice design, tasty coffee, friendly relaxed staff. Great addition to the not so chill Hamptons culture. Keep up the great work!

Excellent coffee! Their coffee blend is something to try. My cappuccino was rich and flavorful. The staff was engaging, friendly and helpful. To top it off, they knew how to brew a great cup and properly froth milk. Bluestone is a very welcomed addition to Montauk. I will be there daily during my stay. No other coffee spot in town compares. A definite for anyone who enjoys great coffee.

I genuinely love the team this year. I have been going for a few years now. I am remembered by name each time, and have been lucky to befriend them. Great coffee too:)

Worse bacon egg croissant ever. Arrived in 1hr and 20 minutes after ordered. Overnight oats wasn't even 1/4 cup. Awful!!!

Best coffee in the world. We stopped by here on a weekend trip from LES. Amazing vibes and staff , coffee just as equally matched ✅

Save your money. The service at this coffee shop was really terrible. Both servers acted as if they had much better things to do. Keep in mind they dont have flavors either so its only americanos or latte without flavor.

The workers didn't seem too experienced in coffee making. All of the size are the same amount of espresso but hold very different amounts of liquids - for a flat white the ratios for a flat white would be thrown off if you bought a medium or large. The barista steamed the milk twice to put a little bit of foam on top so it didn't blend well with the rest of the coffee. The cup is pretty cool though and the espresso was still decent - I just don't think we would go back. Looking forward to more Australian coffee brands though!

It seems this place can be great or terrible depending on who is running it for the day and what you order. Ordered a cold brew and was given one ordered online by someone else half an hour earlier. Was warm and watered down obviously. Realized it wasn't mine, went to the front to tell them, and they said "Oh, that's okay you can have it." After I explained I was upset with the quality, not taking someone else's order, they offered to fix it, but only dumped out the coffee and refilled it again with ice and whatever "cold brew" they had batched. Flavor was still very light and watered down, but at least it was cold now. My wife ordered an iced latte and she said it came out great, so again, seems to depend on what you order. Ordered the healthy breakfast bowl and my wife ordered a burrito. The bowl came out messy and frankly very unappealing. The poached egg was overdone and flavorless, the salmon was sort of just thrown over a bed of overdressed spinach, and the guacamole and feta seemed like they were scooped into the corners in a hurry. The burrito was great though - well seasoned, crispy tortilla, and well portioned. So I guess if you order a burrito and a latte you'll have a good time. Order something batched or on a plate and you're in for a ride.

Hours must be wrong for off-season. We wanted to stop by for coffee after visiting the Montauk Lighthouse. 1:30 pm (Friday, May 3rd) and place was empty and door locked. Maybe another time.

Place was so hot, iced coffee tasted of ash tray, run by kids. Really sad couldn't get a simple coffee right.

I thought this coffee shop was okay but nothing special. We were so hot so decided to drop by for some coffee. I ordered one of their iced drinks with frozen ice cream. It was kind of like an affogato. Honestly, it wasn't that great and I ended up throwing half the drink away. It wasn't as sweet as I expected and I felt like it was more bitter than I wanted it to be.

Really nice little coffee shop. The cold brew is on point and the vibe is really great. It's facing north, so the sun and heat isn't blasting into the store like the other shops in town and you can actually see your computer screen and take a break from the beach. The manager is really nice and the service is excellent.

Great breakfast joint. The bacon egg and cheese is on another level with the special sauce, a must try. Don't be afraid of the people waiting inside, the line goes by quick. You can also order yourself on the tablet on the right. I will definitely come back everyday.

Always one of my fav spots. I love it in Philly and New York, so glad that they have it out here as it's always consistently great. The coffee is so delicious here. Smooth and a pick me up! The toasts here are exceptional. Such quality ingredients. Love the bread and then my prosciutto, ricotta, with the honey was just wow, wow, wow. Perfect breakfast and start to the day. I'll need to snag one of these again soon.

Great for coffee on the go. Not much indoor space but a few tables are outside . Nonetheless the coffee is fantastic . Def try the nitro oat cream cold brew. I'm a black coffee drinker but this caught my eye and was phenomenal.

Delicious coffee and toast! They have multiple locations but this was my first time when we were visiting Montauk. They have various milk options, I went with oat milk for my latte. The toast is nice and hearty and very thick. Just one slice was satisfying and satiating. I think the ricotta toast with strawberries and mint beats out the avocado and lox toast. It was equally refreshing, sweet and savory. I am already dreaming of another slice of that toast. They also sell cute surf type clothing and some home decor, if I remember correctly

The avocado on the avocado toast was completely underripe and the "toast" was a slice of bread. The coffee was amazing, though.

Delish coffee! I had cold brew and my husband had nitro brew. We will be back. Friendly staff!

I grabbed breakfast here twice this past weekend and really enjoyed everything I got. I tried their mocha and latte. Their espresso is so good. We also got avocado toast with cherry tomatoes, the standard, which is a bacon egg and cheese on croissant, and the banana and almond butter toast. Great service as well. The ladies working the counter are super nice. It looks like you can also order online but I walked in both times. They have picnic tables outside or you can walk down to the beach and enjoy.

I came in and asked for the blueberry protein smoothie but without the protein. The worker was so rude and told me they don't substitute in smoothies - I said all you have to do is just not put in the protein . She finally agreed. She then proceeded to put oat milk in it(the menu says almond milk) and when I told her I'm allergic and don't drink oat milk she gave me attitude and said the menu is wrong. The smoothie was disgusting and I got the worst stomach ache from it. That employee should be fired because she's rude and lazy. Bye Felicia

Amazing!!! Beautiful presentation and everything i tried was delicious. Must go coffeeshop and handful options for breakfast and brunch. Good app system to order online.

This is now my favourite coffee spot ANY where. The coffee (drip, espresso, latte, macchiato) is wonderfully flavourful and brewed by the kindest of staff. They offer really nice pastries, and wonderful breakfast sandwiches. Plan on breakfast - but at least a cafecito when you are in town.

They have limited but available outside seating during covid. I had Avocado Toast and the toast was fresh. The avacado spread was really delicious that I almost ordered a second one.

spent $5 on a chocolate croissant. asked if it could be warmed up and was told no. i pull it out of the bag and it's stale. like almost rock hard. i worked in a bakery, so i know what baked good should taste like after even 10 hours on a shelf. it was at least a day old. was also asked at the little payment screen what i wanted to tip and 35% was the "most popular" amount. tipping almost $2 for pulling something out of a case and sticking it in a bag? i think not.

Friendliest staff in Montauk and the best iced coffee with almond milk to boot! Love this spot and the cute shopping pop up is always fun to explore as they rotate brands.

Great coffee, with very friendly staff. Great way to start your morning, but consider ordering ahead on weekends in high season.

When you first walk in here, you might confuse it with a clothing store but as you continue, the coffee counter is in the back corner of the store. I ordered the Aussie Iced Latte, which essentially means latte and ice cream (vanilla in my case). Very delicious, it was like an upgraded affogato - incredibly creamy. Their ice-cream is from Van Leeuwen and is also served separately by the scoop. Would come back if I lived closer.

Cute little coffee shop/clothing store in the same room. Coffee was good, lots of option. Enjoyed my iced Americano.

Went on the weekend of October 10-12. On October 11th, went approximately at 1pm and my boyfriend and I purchased an iced coffee. There were strands of long blonde hair in the cup. My boyfriend and I do not have blonde hair but one of the employees did. The employees need to be more mindful (especially during this time of the pandemic) and be clean and attentive when dealing with food purchases such as this one. We had to throw out the whole drink. It was such a waste.

Laid-back, friendly coffee/clothing shop in the heart of Montauk. They have a breakfast bar with standing space inside or picnic benches in front. Enjoy a cup of coffee with avocado toast while you shop for a dress or t-shirt. Interesting little place to stop in. I didn't buy any clothes but I enjoyed the coffee!

Each of their locations have a unique spin to it, creating an European style coffee shop integrating the "locals vibe". The barista shared with us their different roasts, they include Colombian, Brazilian, Peruvian. Very friendly staff and fun vibe.

You should definitely try the avocado toast and the salmon toast. They are delicious!

Beautiful little coffee shop/clothing shop our 2 iced lattes were very nice and the staff were very friendly. A little cheeky to charge an an extra $2.50 for oat milk I think. The chocolate and regular croissant that were ordered were stale. If this had been an afternoon order I may have put it down to bad luck. This was 8.30 in the morning and in my opinion should be fresh from the bakery.

Had a delicious gluten free Lox Toast with cream cheese. Price was fair and quality was excellent. Also had a good (but not great) iced coffee that was expensive at over $5. Coffee could have been larger or less money. I would come back.

This place has some awesome coffee - and the owner definitely cares that his patrons love his stuff. Got an iced almond milk mocha and my friends got a magic and a latte - all so solid!

Ok to sum it up they are super disorganized here. To start somebody took our meals and then when asked where they were they said they had made them but will make them again. 10 minutes later we still did not have our toast. I mean I can make toast at home in all of 3 minutes. Poor service. The coffee was good but yet again it was a fight to get some sugar to put in there. Overall terrible experience didn't get to eat now I'm hangry. Not going back

I'm a coffee snob and this place delivers big time! Sometimes on vacation great coffee is difficult to find but not in Montauk!!

What a great addition to Montauk! I've been coming out here with my family every summer for the past 11 years and boy do I wish they had opened sooner! Nice beach feel to the store with a pop up clothing brand from Australia. The young Australian girl working there gave everything an authentic feel. She was very personable and knowledgeable with the product and brand. The store was quiet so we were able to chat for a while and she made for some great company! Made me a mean cappuccino too! I will definitely be spreading the word about Bluestone Lane.
