I felt so happy after my dentist appointment and meeting Brian, such a positive and professional person. After the doctor advised me to limit certain foods, Brian kindly gave me some gifts. I’m a big fan of croissants, and he also suggested I try this daily foundational nutrition for its health benefits! 🥰 - 5⭐️

When I went into Bluestone I didn’t know what to expect, but I was extremely happy with my experience! My order was taken by Bryan, he was super welcoming and helpful when it came to recommending something for me to eat. He recommended the Avocado Toast and it was delicious!!! Next time I’m going to try the ice chai latte; Bryan recommended it for my next visit!

I love coming here! I’ve been getting the strawberry cheesecake matcha drink! It’s my favorite. My friend got an iced vanilla latte and loved it as well! The staff was very kind and the service was great!

Went here on a holiday and they had almost no food available. The staff didn’t seem to know what was in stock. We ordered two items, and one was completely forgotten until I asked about it. They had to check the order again to see what I had even ordered. When it was finally made, there was no apology. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told to “come back.” I asked at least for an apology for forgetting the order, and I was told come back and speak to the supervisor. I won’t be returning to this location or any Bluestone Lane, there are plenty of better coffee and food options with staff who are attentive and courteous.

Heavenly cappuccino! Exactly how I like it: small, 2 shots espresso, extra hot. It was $5.45 but that’s what things cost. I will be back!

Super nice staff and very efficient. Sunshine burrito and salmon toast along with cappuccino and Americano. Everything was great. Could the toast been a little bit bigger, sure. But still a 5 star!

What I Ordered: -Magic $5.25 -Aussie Iced Latte $7.00 I spoke with the barista, and he recommended the Hot Magic, as it's similar to a Cortado. I liked it, but it was a little too bitter for my taste. Still, it was pretty good overall. I decided to order another coffee after he mentioned a free coffee with the app's first order. I went with the Aussie Iced Latte after reading some positive reviews. It definitely hits the spot, as the kids say. I love the sweetness of the ice cream, as it balances out the two espresso shots. Now, I'm feeling quite energized writing this review. I didn't realize the Iced Latte had two espresso shots until I looked at the menu again. So, I've had four espresso shots, and I'm hoping my heart holds out. I don't think I'll be sleeping tonight! Bluestone Lane, I'll definitely be back for the Aussie Iced Latte!

Walked over for the first time and ordered an almond croissant and a flat white. The coffee drink was made perfectly but when you held the croissant it crumbled into tiny pieces and was not indicative of a classic croissant. Won't buy that again. Bluestone is basically next door to Sidecar which has awful coffee, but awesome donuts. Do what you gotta do.

I leveled up my latte and had the Laird Superfood Creamer added to it. It was fabulous! This is a great spot in Santa Monica, great guys here, great service. The outdoor patio is bright and airy. I'll be back!

Stopped by while visiting the promenade. Got an almond milk latte and a pumpkin spice latte. The pumpkin spiced latte wasn't too sweet and was spice forward. The almond latte was good, but a little too hot for me. But that is just a preference. Overall, good espresso.

Free parking in the back lot never had an issue finding a spot It's more of a grab and go spot since the free parking lot is mainly limited to 5 minutes or you get validation but doesn't explain where to get tickets for it. Amazing Aussie coffee! So smooth!! Not too sweet. The beans are fresh! Service was quick and friendly. Ambiance- nice place to get brunch. Very casual.

I have memories of great coffee in Australia, so was excited to try this "Aussie" coffee shop in Santa Monica. but, what a disappointment. I ordered a flat white and what I was served was anything but - it was easy half a cup of foam. I did ask them to remake it ($5 for an 8oz coffee is pricey and I simply wanted what I paid for), and the second attempt was a "proper" flat white. Every cafe in Australia will give you an actual cup and saucer, and bring it to,you at the table. Only paper takeaway cups were available here, and my coffee was left at the pickup area without any notification it was ready. The included TimTam was a nice touch, and the actual beans were nicely roasted, but overall this was just a generic CA coffee shop. If they are truly going for an Aussie cafe experience, they are missing the mark.

The cortado here is pretty good! I had it with whole milk and no sweetener--it was delicious. I highly recommend getting it hot and without sweetener to really taste the espresso.

My favorite coffee in the area! They're Aussie latte is absolutely delicious, the perfect treat on a hot day! Service is always super friendly and welcoming here. Be sure to download their app for deals and savings. They have a bit of indoor as well as outdoor seating, and easy parking right out front. Highly recommended!

Staff are amazingly self absorbed and unaware of their uncaring appearance to customers. Proximity is the reason I return but I do so begrudgingly. Now that I'm reconsidering my experiences, I've decided to give 7-11 my business from now on. Plus $18.29 (plus tip?!?) for a 12oz black coffee and an egg sandwich is ridiculous for the quality.

I love Bluestone Coffee! I live nearby and come here when I want to spoil myself and don't want to make my coffee at home. They offer non-dairy milk options, and I usually get a hot latte with almond milk. I want to try their ice chai next time! The service is always quick and efficient; you can order at the touchscreen, and your order will be ready quickly. The coffee is good, and the atmosphere is excellent. I enjoy sitting outside in their outdoor area, which is beautiful and well-kept. I have not tried any of their food options, but I'm sure they are good. They are pretty pricey, and the area has cheaper coffee shops, so I only come here occasionally. There is free parking in the back, the same parking lot for Mendocino Farms restaurant and Sidecar Doughnuts. Also, some metered street parking is available.

You need this smoothie and this is probably the best smoothie ive had. it is so good and im literally going back to get another one later... damn... you should get this. This REEF x Bluestone Collab is chefs kiss So happy I work near one because I come here like everyday. Like i said in a previous review, they are always friendly and its always clean in here.

I think the coffee here is probably ok, but the barista sucked and burnt the milk and it was just way too hot of a drink. Definitely not made with care or attention and the place was empty.

Nice store but expensive for what you get. 8 ounces is the "standard" coffee size and what is the smallest size at most places is their 'large.' 7 bucks for the tiniest latte I've ever seen. It's pretty good but not at a level where I'd say $8 with tip made any sense.

This place has great avocado toast and blueberry muffins. They're so good. Sadly I have to knock a star for their coffee and lack of seating. I was not at all impressed with their coffee- it was super watery and lukewarm. They also don't have much seating which sucks when you want to get something to eat and relax for a min. Oh well, I still will be going back for their toast and muffins!

A cruisy little Aussie themed cafe. Felt like a piece of home. Got to have my beloved Picolo latte which you can't normally get here in the US, and had a lean protein bowl, while my wife had the salmon toast. Both delicious. Great customer service too. Would come back. Only thing I'd say is the seating is very limited. Could use a tad more but otherwise all positives.

Simple & convenient place for coffee! There is a parking lot behind the coffee shop (free & easy). Order can be placed in a kiosk if you don't feel like interacting with people :-) Tables are available outside on Wilshire, usually good amount of space to hang out. Menu offers non-coffee drinks like matcha latte and golden latte. A few pastry options (usually sell out quickly, but there is a donut shop right next door), and a few other options like avocado toast (never tried). Staff has been very friendly & helpful. Coffee is quite good!

One person working. I was the only person in line and waited five minutes to not even be acknowledged. A simple "one sec" would have sufficed. Too many options for coffee in the area to be ignored.

The coffee is okay but the barista making the drink did not use any sanitary procedures. The barista was playing and adjusting his hair while taking my order and making the drink, not once did he wash his hands or put on gloves. Did not seem sanitary and will not be returning if staff is not properly trained on sanitation for customer safety. Did not/ should not have to ask for baristas to follow standard procedures.

Stopped by for a quick latte just turned my day into something magical! Awesome team & world class coffee! Vibes were on point & the team were just the sweetest can't wait to be back tomorrow. Cheers!

I usually would walk by this spot because this is a national chain and I just assumed it was just a coffee shop. Making my last stop at Sidecar before heading North, my gf and I needed food before the long road trip and this was right next door, so we said why not? I got the Egg & Cheese w. Greens Croissant ($8.50) and a cup of Chai Latte ($5.50 for large), while my gf got the Avocado Toast ($8). Both of these items were surprisingly good and looked like the exact photos on the menu, which is rarely the case. Although they were more than I would normally pay for, this was filling enough to get through the day. The Chai Latte was the most surprising as the taste was un-expectingly great. I think it was because I got it with half and half. This is usually my go to drink of choice for coffee at Starbucks and it makes me wonder what kind of milk they used as well. Totally changed my perspective on how much better Chai Latte can taste. Will most likely seek this chain just for the Chai Latte back in NY.

The menu is small and expensive but the food and coffee are really good. There is a limited menu of non/coffee beverages. Only real knock is that there is only a single hot plate on which the food is made, so if it's busy, your food might be a long while. Limited seating as well. It's a small space that wants to be more than a coffee shop but isn't quite a restaurant.

No indoor dining currently available at Bluestone Lane in Santa Monica. There were outdoor tables and chairs set up when we visited but it seemed like it was set up mostly for those who wished to enjoy their Sidecar Doughnuts right after they buy it. They've placed a POS right outside their door and we can put in our order ourselves. You can order online too. When your order is ready, they call out your name and put your drink/son a tray outside a window. Iced Latte is so very good. Iced Aussie with ice cream in it is soooo much better as an afternoon treat. Could not taste the Milo in the Iced Milo. And no, I don't have COVID. I could taste everything else just fine.

The bluestone team in Santa Monica is amazing. Emily and Ashley are always so sweet. Everyone is always so helpful when I come as well as attentive and super nice. Definitely my go to place for coffee in the morning.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. I've lived down the block for a year and I get breakfast here ~5 days/week. The food is perfectly executed by any casual dining standard. The staff, though, is *superb.* There aren't words. Shoutout in particular to Emily, Ashley, Nataly, and Genesis (and everyone else!) for their smiling faces and great conversation, the delicious croissant sandwich toasted perfectly and made precisely to whatever specifications I'm feeling that day - even when I change my mind, they've never made an error on a single mobile order in a full year. Frequently, I'm ordering for groups on weekends. Attention to detail invariably on point. They take such great care of customers, brighten up each morning (even when I show up in a gold skeleton onesie before coffee at 6:15am)... Not enough great things to say. Way more dependable than so many alternatives in the area.

This is the best coffee on the Westside and the staff is always so fun to connect with. Love this location !

The food was very delicious and I loved trying this coffee shop. I highly recommend this place. The two young ladies were very friendly. Overall it was a great experience and I will be returning whenever I am near Santa Monica.

Least favorite craft coffee roaster I had on trip to LA/Santa Barbara area. The drip coffee seemed to be heavily roasted, a bit burnt tasting. I did not see any single origin bags, only blends, most medium roasts. Definitely still superior to Starbucks and other chain establishments and was not "bad" but simply did not make impression. Ambiance fair but small, lack of seating-more of grab and go establishment. Food menu includes smoothies which is nice, providing healthy option, though the smoothie I had was not very good.

I've been dying to try Bluestone ever since I saw an ad for it on Instagram a while back. I had that chance after an appointment nearby, and I was not disappointed by any measure with my first visit! I came on a weekday, so parking was a breeze to find on the street. The interior was trendy and quaint, and despite the small size of it, felt warm and inviting with the thoughtful use of potted plants and Australian decor touches throughout the shop. There's also a nicely decorated outdoor patio with a tall marble table and long wooden table, which I sat at. The staff is very friendly and helpful! I regretfully forgot who served me, but they were very knowledgeable and answered my questions about what were on the menu. From that, I decided on getting a salmon toast with a hot brew. The salmon toast was perfection, with bite after bite of smoked salmon complementing a generously thick wheat toast covered by very smooth cream cheese. The hot brew was smooth and well-balanced, and a touch of half & half perfectly rounded out the coffee. I will definitely come back in the future to try more of their extensive coffee menu (yum!) and hoepfully their #AvoSmash toast, if the days and times are right for me to visit!

Eats: Avocado Toast $8 -hella fresh avocado -citrus element -baby greens -seasoned perfectly Drinks: Iced Chai whole milk -Sweet and subtle spice -flavor not dragged down like other places Hot Oak Milk Chai (8 oz.) -perfect size! -so yummy and sweet but spicy and comforting! Friendly Baristas, and some casual seating inside as well as bar style tables outside. Fav spot around the area so far!

I ordered via Uber eats! Excited to try the avocado toast ( picture looked so appetizing). While I was eating, I found a piece of hard plastic ( please refer to photo), I let it go and kept eating, then the second piece found cut my cheek! Now I am upset, as whoever prepared this is completely irresponsible and should not be handling food. Beware of hard pieces of plastic in your food.

Ever since I discovered Bluestone Lane in late March, I've been coming almost every weekday morning with the same group of friends. It's sort of become my coffee "Cheers" after dropping my son off at school around the corner. The coffee is always good, the peanut butter/strawberry or almond butter/banana toasts are now a ritual, and we always end up staying for about an hour or two, depending on who shows up from our Instagram stories. Love the service, and love that we can comfortably sit here with our dogs as we people watch. They keep the place immaculate, and the only sad thing is that once the kids are out of school, I won't be coming back here regularly until school starts back up in the fall. Love you guys!

I stopped in here because of their beautiful Pride flowers in the front. They have an app (contactless delivery) but it was super easy. And well worth the time. Their cold brew might be the best I've ever had. I'm a fan for life!

Little hallway-style restaurant on the north side of Wilshire between 7th and 6th in Santa Monica. Right next to Sidecar. Busy counter-order spot; decent menu consisting of basic quick bites. I opted for a large coffee and "eggs and greens" sandwich. Could've gotten either a croissant or multi-grain bread for this sandwich order; I chose multi-grain bread. Took about ten minutes for my order to come out. Coffee up a few mins after I ordered, sandwich up a few minutes after that. Coffee was ok, a little more acid than I enjoy but I also saw they have several variations in their bagged coffee so maybe I could ask for a different variation next round. The sandwich on the other hand was, in no other words, perfect. The toasted multi-grain bread, the arugula with some kind of vinaigrette on it, the scrambled eggs falling out of the middle... every bite was a crunchy tangy creamy fatty delight and heck I'd get this to go on any given day. And at $9 its frankly less expensive than most Santa Monica venues. No sides btw, just sandwich. The seating was mostly outside. As a non-sun person I chose a small bench seating with two tiny metal tables in front of it inside. The music was good and overall this would be an easy 5 stars if the seating had more shade/non-sun options. Thanks for making my day Bluestone!

Picked up an iced long black with a splash of oat milk with my friend after stopping by Sidecar right next door. It was only $3 regardless of getting a small or a large, which I thought was super cool :' ) I haven't had a GOOD coffee in a while and I was super impressed with Bluestone!! Their online ordering system/kiosk is convenient and the pickup process is made a lot easier for customers! The baristas were also nice and they look like they have fun working there, so it was a great experience overall!! Highly recommend. The coffee pairs so so so well with the donuts!
