Google
Some friends and I went here after work and it was great. The drinks were delicious (everyone loved what they got), and they had some really good zero proof options as well. The food was also good, primarily seafood options, but some non seafood as well. If you're looking for a place with delicious cocktails and some good food, this is it.

Google
We had a nice dinner and drinks, with good service. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Although focused on hard liquor being a distiller; a limited selection of beer and wine is available.

Came in for dinner with friends, I hadn't' been here for a while, my bad, because the food was soooo great. The cocktails were quite unique and tasty, but truly my favorite part was the service. Rachael (Bartender) took such good care of us, she is amazing. She was friendly and attentive, she made some great cocktail recommendations and gave really personalized service. Very rare now a days. Thank you so much, we will be back soon.

Google
Excellent fish fry plate, the best fish & chips I’ve ever had. Ever. Fresh halibut in delicious panko crust and pan fried to perfection, with great house tarter and crisp coleslaw, it’s worth the trip from Seattle to Everett, plus you get a great atmosphere out on the patio. It’s obvious this place is big on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Every plate our table ordered was good-sized portions and popping with freshness. I highly recommend Blue Water. The service was fantastic, and the bartender was making the tastiest craft cocktails. I’ll definitely be back.

Google
Have I really not rated this place yet?! I love this place! It's my local haunt and I came here all the time when I worked in Everett. Delicious food that feels so homey but also healthy. AMAZING cocktails, like the best I've ever had out if 34 states and like 19 countries. LOVE this place and always return when I'm in town 😋

Google
I’ve been to this location several times now and each time I have a great experience. Staff is friendly and the food is always on point. The representation for their food and drink items are really high quality. I loved my Cajun cod tacos! It was all really good. There is a lot of parking available, it is on the water front. The staff is really friendly and very attentive. I would definitely recommend this place! **Gratuity is included** just a fair warning.

Google
We love coming here. The craft cocktails are delicious and inventive. The food menu offers enough variety and the food specials are always tasty. The items change seasonally showcasing fresh and vibrant flavors. The staff is very friendly and always have a great experience coming here. They also have a pet friendly outdoor patio and minors are welcome.

Google
One of my favorite places to get a high quality unique mixed drink and sit out in the sun... Food is good, if that's your thing... But the drinks are just that much better.

Yelp
Great drinks, good organic food, service a bit slow, but very friendly. Had the steelhead chowder & chicken tinga sliders.

Yelp
Came here for date night. Service was exceptionally slow given the fact they were fully staffed and most were just wandering around as if not wanting to be around. The Charcuterie & Cheese was NOT WORTH $26.00 it was almost in comparison to a charcuterie plate on a plane trip flying on Alaska Airlines. And yes, will share photo of how little the plate was. We ordered the Midnight Manhattan($17.00)--it's way too sweet. Unless it's intended to be sweet, please add that on the description of your menu. Overall not enthused. Customer and employee experience should always be 100%. Server was moody after I said no more drinks and all I wanted was the check. It was an unpleasant experience. I gave it the extra 1 star because of the fact that it's by the waters, and thankfully that's what calmed me down. Please do better with overall customer experience.

Yelp
I came here for a group party. So food that we had more like catering set up. I like the staff friendliness. The food were pretty good too. May come again for regular dine in.

Yelp
In short Amazing location, fantastic drinks, solid food choices, and the best bartender for miles around up here. In long We've been coming in for years for occasional cocktails. We have wine far more often than cocktails, and this has usually been the spot when we want something with spirits. Like I said below, it's a pretty great location near but not on the water. You're not quite directly watching the waves, but you get fresh salty air and some awesome dramatic clouds sometimes. The inside and outside seating are both fantastic, so you're good no matter the weather. We often come in for after-dinner drinks, so I can say only so much about the entrées and desserts, but the snacks here are great. Popcorn, bread, charcuterie. We've had dinner a couple times and it was fine, though it's not really the big draw. The big draw is definitely the bar program. Their house cocktails are interesting; I almost always start with a Cedar Gimlet, which is bright and acidic and extra-refreshing thanks to the lively woodsy notes. They literally garnish with a little sprig of cedar. Even more than the house cocktails, though, the bartenders' creative flair brings each session to life here. Vanessa in particular is sensational. She knows mixology cold and has fantastic taste--we've chatted with her many times about food and bev and clearly she's tried everything and knows how to blend flavors and textures and temperatures. When she has time between orders, we always ask for open-ended drinks where she can fill in the details. Something with this spirit, maybe this garnish, that flavor. She can work off that and come up with something on the spot. Most of the other bartenders have this skill, too! She seems to be the Jedi master most of the time, where if they're getting close with an idea she can nudge it over the finish line by suggesting another touch they can add. We often end up sitting through 3-4 rounds here just to work through all the different ideas she comes up with. If she has been toying with an idea before we arrive, we happily volunteer to be the guinea pigs. She always makes every visit such a treat.

Yelp
Great Patio along the Everett Marina! They have delicious cocktail and food options. The Nordic Fire is my go to cocktail. The black salt rim and spicy kick pair perfectly. The Hot Shot with the cucumber and Jalapeño is another great pick. Refreshing and spicy! We ordered the Firecracker shrimp for the first time and it was amazing. The sauce spicy and delicious! It came with kale and quinoa and ate it all to get the most of that sauce! Our server was friendly, and guests were kind and open to us joining at the picnic table with them so we could enjoy the sun!

Yelp
Found this place due to Scuttlebutt having a 90 minute wait and was so glad to stop in! They have really delicious drinks made with their own alcohol and syrups. They also source their food all locally which is really neat as well. The service was a tad on the slower end but the food and the environment makes up for that. Service wasn't bad just took a while to get drinks and get the bill.

Yelp
Happened to stop by during happy hour which which gets you $3 off selected cocktails and apps. So many interesting cocktails to choose from. Our server was very helpful and helpful. We had the Convergence Zone and Explorer martini. Our server suggested the Convergence Zone...so good! Definitely a craft cocktail with so much depth. Our server also suggested the Chimchurri shrimp. Delightful and I don't usually like chimchurri since most places make it too sour or too heavily seasoned. Arugula and quinoa was a great pairing with this.

Yelp
Terrific location, service, food, and spirits. Highly recommend especially if you are a martini person.

Yelp
I bring all my friends here when they come to visit Everett. Cocktails and food has never disappointed us! So many great choices and the outdoor seating is perfect. Favorite drinks I have repeatedly ordered: Halcyon Days; Teatotaler; Manifest Food recs: Breads and spreads; Rustic mac; and the burger(!!) (if they bring it back on the menu)

Yelp
Came by at 7:30 pm with my friend on Saturday, the place was packed! The weather was hot and beautiful out, the restaurant has outside seating. We ordered Nautical mute and it was really refreshing great flavor not overwhelming taste of ginger beer. The waitress said they make Vodka that is organic. We really liked it. There's other cocktails on the menu I'd like to try in the future. The food menu was not long at all in fact we had a hard time deciding because of it. Ended up ordering hummus and it was delicious. Hummus didn't taste like the store sold one at all more of home made kind of flavor. Very simple. I really liked it too. I just hoped they include crackers or pita bread with instead of just roasted vegetables. The ambiance was great with different type of seatings with upbeat music. The service overall was ok.

Yelp
Waited about 40 minutes for a table when there were empty spots available and it wasn't really that crowded. Then the service continued to be slow, slow, slow. We ordered mac and cheese, a bread and spreads platter, and a charcuterie board. The food was okay and was way overpriced for what was delivered. Glad I checked out another place in Everett, but feel absolutely no desire to return.

Yelp
Food 5/5 Ambiance 4/5 Drinks 4/5 Service 2/5 Kinda sad, but we won't be back. FYI**Mandatory 20% gratuity no matter the party size** even if your service is shit, I think that's why they don't really care how long you wait or how well the service is. It's kinda sad. Full disclosure, we had 2 drinks each and shared 3 appetizers and it was $122 including mandatory tip. We waited 15 mins to be sat outside and were asked if we wanted to sit at a long bench (normally for 8 guest) but if so, we had to share it. We shared with 4 other people whom were asked roughly 5 minutes after they sat with us if they wanted to move to 1 of 2 open fire tables, they said yes and proceeded to move. However, we were never asked if we wanted to sit at the other fire table which I thought was kind of rude. I wouldn't recommend this place unless they make a few changes. Y'all can do better.

Yelp
Bread, butter and spread were delicious. My fiancè and I detected small pieces of bacon in the house spread-- yum! Fish tacos were perfectly cooked, flaky and seasoned well. Purple cabbage slaw was lightly dressed with subtle heat. **A note on the table indicated they take 20 percent gratuity on every check. Not a huge fan of this when service/food is lacking. Fortunately the food was great here. Service was just okay.
google avatar

Nune H.

Yelp
Had an interesting experience here with a group. I love the vibe and the interior aesthetic, but definitely struggled to fit everything on the table. Loved that half of the food had a little bit of heat, but my cocktail was so spicy (never thought I'd say that lol) that I couldn't drink it. The service was great, until it got busier. Overall I enjoyed my time here. The menu is brief, but perfect for cocktails. Pricing is above average, but reasonable and the food playing is great. You can definitely get full eating appetizers, but the entrees have plenty on the plate too. The proteins were cooked well. I was surprised that they actually cooked their cauliflower the way I like. I would say the highlights were definitely the hummus plate and the bread with garlic butter and the Berry tarte. I'd definitely come back just to have those three things again.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, service, food and beverage. All outstanding. Worth the time and money. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Came to blue water because my boyfriend and I wanted to just sit down, grab a drink, and bring our doggo along. I do love their patio section, it's right by the marina, you'd definitely be able to see the sunset from here. I love that dogs are allowed, we hate leaving him at home on a hot day so this was perfect. My boyfriend got a beer which he enjoyed and I got the sage lemonade, which was BOMB. If you really love the taste of sage then that drink is for you, it's very strong but I enjoyed it. All we ordered was the bread + spread plate because we just wanted something to snack on. It came with a load cut into slices, roasted garlic, sea salt & herb butter, and the house spread (which was a lite salmon spread). Unfortunately, I was really looking forward to the roasted garlic with my bread and it was just undercooked. In my opinion it should have been spreadable but it was way too hard for that. The house spread (salmon I think) just didn't do it for me either, not enough flavor. My rating comes mostly at the prices, god damn is this place expensive. I think it's alittle over priced for what you're getting. If it was cheaper, my rating would definitely be higher. Not to mention they add an automatic 20% gratuity to the bill. I usually tip this if the service is good but today it was very slow so. If you don't mind the prices, the vibe, drinks, and appetizer we got was good.

Yelp
Finally made it here, having had it on our list of places/distilleries to check out. Huge disappointment, though. Take the 1 Star reviews about service seriously. It started with the long wait at the "please wait to be seated sign," where staff walked by us repeatedly without acknowledgment. It was so long that we were about to head out the door when a gal who'd walked by us multiple times finally said "Ok, would you like a table?" Um ... no, we were just standing here for 8 minutes hoping to talk to you about your relationship with Jesus ... Anyway ... the place was only half filled. Once at the table, the same thing. No acknowledgement and after another 8 to 10 minute wait a gal who'd walked by us multiple times says, with a sigh, like we were somehow interrupting something, asked if we wanted to order drinks, food. It went on like this the rest of the evening. When drinks and food finally arrived, we enjoyed both. But, really had to wonder why it took 20 minutes for a bowl of chowder and two fish tacos to come out. During this time, we did not see a whole lot of food being delivered to tables, and again, half the chairs/tables were empty. All in all, just a bizarre level of somewhat passive aggressive wait service in an attractive place, with decent cocktails, decent food. It was a let down big enough that we won't be back (and I went there with the intention of also buying a $36 bottle of their gin for my home bar, but decided not to because I was just not sold on the place, or the brand). A 20% tip was not automatically added to our bill, as others have noted. I just checked the receipt after reading reviews here, worries that we'd paid for a tip we didn't want to pay. We tipped, but no where near our customary 20%. We have family members in the industry and know how important tips are, so it takes some pretty sloppy service for us to not tip at least a minimum.

Susan G.

Yelp
The gin is so smooth and amazing. We had an excellent lunch and tasting . Thank you for the great service

Big J.

Yelp
I have received a few "compliments" regarding the tipping...all the "compliments" have come from millennials. 1. I don't need help remembering to tip. 2. They didn't deserve a tip WHATSOEVER. 3. WA state workers get minimum wage, it ain't FL. 4. If you or the kitchen fucked up, you ain't getting a tip, period. Suck it up and fix the issue.

Yelp
Perfect location to watch the sunset. Staff was friendly and provided great service. The food was fresh and tasty with a healthy twist. We were a group of 8. It was a little tight -'d had to add a chair as the booth was not big enough. Ordered the Halcyon Days off the signature cocktail menu, Our group ordered the Cod soft tacos, Pork pulled Sammie, Waygu steak salad, salmon with salad with bacon fat dressing, and the Caesar salad, crème bullee, chocolate decadence, and coffee ice cream. Pressed coffee could be shared between 2 people, Arnold palmers are not refillable, Cost a dollar to use a metal straw, gratuity is added.

Yelp
Good spot for some food and drink on the Everett waterfront. Good atmosphere to hang out inside and out - especially some of the wooden art inside. They have a solid cocktail list, putting their own spin on classics like the martini. They use their own organic vodka, gin, and aquavit. I had the navigator martini, which was solid. The food menu looks solid too. I had the burger (special) which hit the spot. Not the best out there, but still tasty and I did appreciate the GF bun. I'd come back but probably try something else to eat.

Gregory F.

Yelp
Specializing in gin and vodka. It's nice to find a good place for gin cocktails. The cedar gimlet was really good. Nice space indoors, and a nice outdoor patio looking towards the marina. They even have a couple fireplace tables to keep warm with your cool cocktail.

Manmir A.

Yelp
Came here for a afterwork event and enjoy the visit. Large drink selection, food was also good. Outside seating was nice since the weather premitted. Would go here again. Service was friendly and fast.
google avatar

Jeremy S.

Yelp
Cocktails here are great! I really liked the mules they had to offer. The food is pretty good, I'd say it could have a little more variety for my preference, but the inside has a nice decor and relaxing vibe.
google avatar

Lisa K.

Yelp
Does this look like a 70.00 dinner? 3 tacos, 1 lemoncello drop and one beer=70.00! The waitress was eh, not too friendly, and it was cold and she claimed the outside fireplace would just go out if we lit it. We bugged her 3-4 times before she annoyingly turned it on . It never "went out". She put a 20% tip for herself on the bill, ( even though we were only a party of 4) so that's why she had a "why bother" attitude. The tacos tasted good , but NOT worth 70.00 total bill.
google avatar

Chanel T.

Yelp
Tasty cocktails. Comfy outdoor seating. Chic indoor seating and decor. Good food. Great for outdoor drinks with friends or significant other.
google avatar

Judith M.

Yelp
Healthy menu choices! I was craving fish tacos for lunch today. It was very savory. The ambience is also perfect! Thank you for the professional service.
google avatar

Darin B.

Yelp
A vibe that makes me want to come, have a drink and then stay for a bit to eat - easy going, good music and just-right service. Had the salmon and it was perfect. A great place to meet people or just come to hang out.
google avatar

Yelp
Great place to visit when down on the marina has good patio seating and a fantastic chef driven menu. My personal favorite is their cocktails which has inspired me to actually do some of my own mixology. Their Earl Gray infused vodka cocktail which I believe was called "convergent zone" was absolutely fantastic.
google avatar

Erin-Elizabeth A.

Yelp
I recently got the chance to stop by here for a quick drink and I was impressed! The location is gorgeous, with a huge patio for outdoor seating (the only option during COVID) right near the water with plenty of parking. Their food menu is somewhat limited, but had a variety of choices for their drink selection. The only downside was it took quite a while for someone to meet us at the counter so we could order. It seems there is a very limited waitstaff, and the bartender didn't bother to greet us or let us know where to stand. Once ordered, we were promptly served and the cocktails were delicious and well proportioned. I'm definitely eager to return and try their food or pick out a bottle of wine from their extensive shop.

Missy P.

Yelp
First time in and really impressed! Hannah was amazing, knowledgeable and attentive. Drinks were top notch. Such a cool vibe with great food options on top of it. Definitely recommend

Willow H.

Yelp
Good and friendly service, blah food and bad drink, still trying to resolve being overcharged about $175. A group of us asked for and paid on separate checks. I noticed on my cc statement that I had been charged for everyone's food and drink! I sent an email and didn't get a response. I called last week and left a message. Someone called me back, was unapologetic and said they'd look into it and call me the next day. They didn't. I will need to call again. Food had little flavor and was overpriced. I rarely drink, so I could tell that they must have forgotten to put alcohol in the first drink. It was a mojito that, instead of being made with fresh mint and a little sugar, had a mint leaf as garnish and was made with sweet and sour mix, which was disgusting. Ordered a second drink that had the normal amount of alcohol. Shocked at the cost. At those prices, we all expected great food and drinks. Add to that disappointment that I was charged well over two hundred dollars for an appetizer and two drinks.
google avatar

Lee A.

Yelp
I was expecting a lot more. the food was decent, and servings were big. The service wasn't good. our server seemed annoyed and was not paying attention to us (looking around) whenever she came to our table (if she did at all). it was a rather long wait for everything (drinks, a napkin). I did like the drinks though. i would recommend only stopping by for a few drinks and sitting at the bar.
google avatar

S.M. B.

Yelp
Had a group dinner next door, it was a beautiful summer evening so we decided to have a drink at Bluewater. Mid week, not very busy but service was very slow. Drinks finally came out, a friend requested to taste my drink . No wait staff around so I approached the bar to ask for a straw. I was told a "sharing straw" would cost a dollar. I explained I wasn't "sharing." The bartender rolled her eyes and told me, "you can just take one-but just this once!" Ridiculous to be treated this way-and then they reward themselves with 20% gratuity? Will not recommend and no plans to return, keep your lousy sharing straws!
google avatar

Richard H.

Yelp
We've eaten here at least a dozen times over the past 4 years and have never had anything less than a delicious meal. The kitchen creates weekly specials that always satisfy your taste buds and add a few cocktail specials to the list too that are creative and delicious!
google avatar

Keith G.

Yelp
Bah, the view, the location, even the food was good. The drink was actually delicious. I ordered the North Sea cocktail, which I would recommend. Strong and tasty. The wait time was very long. Roughly 20 mins to get our drinks to us. Server said it was busy night for them. That's fair. This is all fine in the grand scheme of things. The deduction of two stars. The waiter was flirtatious with my date. He grazes his palm on her shoulders as he walked by while sharing our foods coming out. Focused majority of the attention towards her. Which she appreciated. I felt like the 3rd wheel at my date. The food was good. If I'm actually hungry, I would not come here. $20 for a dinner plate with a very small portion size even for a little guy like myself. I had to have another snack after my $20 dish. It was an overall pretty average experience in terms of the quality of staff, and food. The view and location was great.
google avatar

Stephanie P.

Yelp
Not kid friendly. Food is so-so, drinks are good, service was kind but not attentive. When my kid wanted Mac and cheese the server raved about it but forgot to mention it was spicy. Kind of a major thing to forget. My clams were sandy and under salted. When we ordered lemonade (again, for a kid), we got charged $1 for a stainless steel straw which is probably one of the most ridiculous upcharges I've ever seen on a restaurant bill. What was good: our pulled pork sandwich (which my son mostly ate because his Mac and cheese was too spicy), the ciabatta bread, the flourless chocolate cake, and our libations. Also the patio is nice. And I like that all checks have a 20% gratuity because I like that the staff are getting paid. So I guess come here for apps, drinks, and dessert, and leave the kids at home.

Yelp
Have been coming here since they opened the business at the Marina. The woodwork inside is beautiful and the unique blends of vodka and drinks are amazing; especially the Bloody Mary's! The charcuterie boards are great if you just want a drink, some snacks and to enjoy the view, especially if it's a nice enough day to sit outside. Their food is usually organic and a lot of choices are locally sourced. The specials are creative and the chefs talented. But, last night my partner & I were hoping to have done dinner and when we got there it looked to be full. So, went inside to check it out and the hostess was so unwelcoming and rude. When I asked about a small table that looked open...she snapped at me like I was idiot; saying it was a table for one. I didn't know that, but damn, she didn't need to bite my head off. I mean, I understand it's rough out there; understaffed, overworked and often unappreciated. But, I just asked a question and we were willing to wait, not after that. So, we decided to go somewhere else. We've come here from the beginning, eaten a lot of tasty food & drinks, brought friends & family, and spent A LOT of money. So, we won't let one bad experience keep us from coming back. I like to think next time it'll be a better experience.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere; great drinks; decent food. The Marina Greens salad is a tasty fiber vehicle that I've gotten twice, and it has been fresh both times. I got the seafood chowder today, and though packed with salmon goodness, smelled and tasted fishy. I hate that, but still had no problem eating it all, so it wasn't that bad I guess. Though I'm usually a beer guy, I got a Time Bandit today, per the wife's recommendation. This was not a mistake; I see myself getting another one of the gin, peach, lemon, and thyme treats. Really refreshing. Get one.
google avatar

Alicia S.

Yelp
The food here has increased flavor & they have a lovely patio area. The menu is not large but again great flavors. The service was lacking and the add an automatic 20% gratuity which we tend to tip at least that if the service is good.
google avatar

Dawn M.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite places for dinner and cocktails. Best cocktails in Everett, excellent food too.
google avatar

Amanda B.

Yelp
The drinks and food were delicious. Fairly priced drinks and we loved the fish tacos and garlic bread. The location and ambiance was good. What made our experience great was our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and she had only worked there for a few days. We will definitely be back soon and want to sit outside at one of their firepit tables.
google avatar

Yelp
A pleasant surprise. Nicely constructed dishes, decent service. Wonderful Bloody Mary's! Their shrimp appetizer is excellent and flavorful. Mixed green salad had a nice light vinaigrette and great pecorino cheese. Their fish tacos were solid and perfectly cooked and came with a nice handmade slaw. Mary's are exceptional and have a nice house made mix, that is heavy on the pickle juice and a nice heat, which I prefer. This place is worth a try. Check them out.

Yelp
Best gin & tonic ever! Need I say more? Okay, I confess to having a bowl of salmon chowder with sliced artisan bread & buttered before we started drinking. After all we are responsible adult drinkers. Chowder was delicious; thick & tasty! Lots of salmon. Bread was crusty and good, warmed with enough melted butter! I ordered a tall gin & tonic. Gin is distilled on the premise. Really smooth! Sip it! It creeps up on you and after one drink I was feeling no pain! But I'm a lightweight, as they say. The night was still young so I had another. This one was a short. I'm not dumb enough to get intoxicated or act stupid. By the end of the evening the kitchen had closed and this place doesn't stay open late, but just as well for us older folks. This place is a bit pricey but with such good booze, I won't complain. We may not come here often, but we will definitely be back!

Yelp
We have been fans of this restaurant/distillery for many years. Their food never comes from a package, it's very fresh, cooked by order and delicious! Cocktails are ON POINT! They also sell the majority of the products they make so that you can enjoy your favorite drink at home. The staff is great, engaging and friendly. My favorite dish on the menu is the hummus plate and love the Gimlet cocktail. The ambiance is cool, we love outdoors in the summer and on cooler days we sit at the bar to watch the bartender at work. 10/10 highly recommend.

Mrs. M.

Yelp
We came here the other day with another couple at their recommendation. We were promptly served water, and water in one of their cute bottles was left on the table. While actually waiting for the other couple, the bread plate was ordered and a drink. We sat near the bar and was able to watch the bartender (she was busy all night!). We got the drink, the other couple came about 15 mins later as so did the bread. More drinks were ordered, and food (small menu) was ordered shortly after. Everyone enjoyed their drinks. The food/entrees took AN HOUR to get to the table!! AN HOUR!! We had to ask about the food twice. The bread and spreads were really good. Some type of herb butter, bacon butter and roasted garlic cloves (they could have been roasted a little bit longer they weren't spreadable, but still edible). When the entrees finally came, I can't account for everyone, they all seemed to enjoy their dish. I had ordered the rustic mac. It was "good". Had a nice kick, but the pasta was a little overcooked. Now about the bill. Yes, it is posted right on the table and the menu that 20% is already added onto the bill. Well that's all they got. The other couple paid the bill so I don't know what it turned out to be. If it was just my husband and I, we are usually big tippers at 25-30% depending on the service. But if you are to mandatory an amount, that's all they're going to get. I know it is not the servers fault (ours was pretty attentive, I don't remember her name), but that should be something they should take up with their employer. But I won't need to worry about the mandatory 20%, I don't think I'll come back here. At least not by our choice.

Yelp
Fantastic cocktails and food!! Cedar Gimlets (cedar sprig!!) and House Gin & Tonics (rosemary branch!!) Was seeking out a bar/restaurant with covered outdoor dining (weather forecast was for rain and 46 degrees--brr.) and was happy to find Bluewater Distilling. I read some reviews to try to figure out the outdoor dining situation (looked on the website and Facebook) and ended up calling. They promptly answered the phone call and answered my questions: - Yes, covered and uncovered areas for outdoor dining; - Yes, heaters and some tables with fire; - Yes, online menu (QR code) but order inside at the counter (we'll bring out the food); - No, No reservations, first come first serve. GREAT! And, thank you Kaitlin for responding to my inquisition with a very chipper attitude. I wanted to understand the protocols so our expectations were appropriate (and that we don't feel dumb trying to figure out what's going on). Non-pandemic, I'm not a fan of counter-ordering-for-dine-in, but what worked is that you can keep the tab open. When our server came out to light the table fire the server offered to take our order if we new what we wanted -- otherwise, come in and order. Also indicated that when they are bringing out drinks/food, they'll happily take re-orders. Not sure sure why the process has outdoor diners come in to settle the check (and we can avoid coming inside) but, that's in our groups skill set so we could manage. The 20% tip was fine. No one in our group had an issue with this and it made the check out process quicker. Plus -- if you can't fucking tip wait staff 20% during a pandemic, just consider take-out. nb. I was also able to purchase some pre-made cocktails to go.

Yelp
My bestie and I mete here for happy hour. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Bluewater is an excellent place for those who enjoy spirits. I'm a wine and beer kinda gal so the crafty cocktails don't entice me. Indoors is open and chic with nice natural lighting. Happy Hour is offered Tuesday-Friday from 2pm-5pm. Food items are limited. Daily specials are offered and listed on the chalk board. I ordered a glass of Broadside Cab for $7 (hh) and my bestie ordered a glass of Alibi Amber for $4 (hh). We started out with the Charcuterie + Cheese plate for $10 (hh). We each ordered the Carnitas Verde for $20: pork, great northern white beans, carrots, poblano peppers, cotija cheese, verde salsa and cornbread. The flavor of this dish was tasty. We each would have preferred corn tortillas instead of the cornbread which we ended up wasting. Staff is friendly and efficient. Overall, Bluewater is a nice place to stop into and have a sip or two while waiting to be seated for food at Scuttlebutt.

Yelp
Great drinks and appetizers, but didn't realize until later they add a mandatory 20% gratuity. I normally tip well, but in this case, we didn't get approached by the server for about 15 minutes on a slow day. I like having the option of adjusting the tip amount if needed.
