Visited here for the first time and we enjoyed our lunch very much. Mandy was friendly and attentive, she made us feel welcomed. The hot boiled shrimp appetizer was delicious and the Cucumber Tito’s vodka drink was delicious. I had the fish and chips which was great and my husband had the blackened catfish with rice, he loved it. We look forward to coming back soon!

Awesome seafood restaurant! Been there twice in the last few weeks. Ava is an amazing server. Friendly and knew her dishes and flavors. The crawfish were fresh and well cooked. We went with the Bluewater OG seasoning - spicy and garlicky. Delicious flavors! The shrimp, corn, purists, andouille side were excellent too! The crab clusters were worth the additional charge. The blackened salmon dish was delicious and moist. The kid’s meals were large for the 7 & 4 y/o children in the family. Clean inside and out. I like that they gave us bibs and gloves. There is a bucket and roll of paper towels to stay clean. They also had a bottle of the dry seasoning at the table. Parking lot has a paved portion and a gravel area for additional parking. We really enjoyed this place. We’ll be back and quote recommend. Note my rating system: 1 Star: I wouldn't recommend 2 Stars: Didn't hit my standards 3 Stars: Average (nothing special) 4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star. 5 Stars: Top of their game. Great food. Great service. Would recommend and plan on returning.

Once again, Blue Water has truly outdone itself. It has consistently been one of my favorite places to enjoy exceptional seafood, and today was no exception. The food was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared — a true testament to the restaurant’s high standards and commitment to quality. Our server, Brianna, was outstanding. She was prompt, professional, and made me feel completely at home. Her warm and attentive service added a personal touch that elevated the entire dining experience. I also had the pleasure of trying the Painkiller cocktail for the first time, and I must say, it was a life-changer — perfectly balanced and refreshingly delicious. The service, atmosphere, and overall experience were, as always, top-tier. If I had to suggest one area for potential improvement, it would be the WiFi speed. That said, I understand this may be outside of Blue Water’s direct control. Thank you again for a wonderful experience. I look forward to returning soon!

OMG!! I love this place!! KATIE is amazing!! She works the bar!! She is very knowledgeable and the menu and gives great recommendations!! She engages in conversation with all her bar guest and that's what's important!! I was there watching the DETROIT TIGERS and she informed me that he manager JEFF was also from Detroit he came and introduced himself!! That's great customer service!! Highly recommend coming to check this place out!! Oh GREAT PRICES AND THE FOOD WAS GOOD GOOD!

Food is neutral good for a regular consumer. For a foodie, it’s mid…, Had Seafood boil: crabs, crawfish, shrimp, sausage, potatoes, corn and eggs. Definitely one of my fav happy hours for frozen drinks… $3&$6 margaritas with tasty flavors Have visited the willow brook location also.

The service was very friendly—our waitress was kind and attentive. The food was just okay, nothing special, and unfortunately, the micheladas weren’t to my liking. Overall, it was an average experience.

Wow. Out on the fluke in the area and stumbled across this place. The service was top notched and fast friendly smiles. My food was fresh and large portions. Definitely get your money work. The greenbeans surprised me with the amount of flavor (pork free!) Fish filet was huge and the bed fried rice included shrimp... total surprise. Hush puppies were 10/10. I'm definitely going back. I'll check out the drinks next time.

Went to Blue Water Seafood for a birthday dinner—great food, awesome service, and a fun atmosphere! Everything was fresh and flavorful. Perfect spot to celebrate!

I am giving them 5! Let's start with Nelli which we became regulars last night! She was very attentive, fun personality and did her best to make us happy! We all had some type of fish dinner so delicious and cooked perfectly! The shrimp fried rice was to die for and the grilled vegetables cooked and seasoned perfectly! We sat at a bar table which is our favorite location! If you haven't been to this restaurant in a long time go visit and ask for Nelli! Great job to the management!

Bro was our waiter today and she didn't disappoint! She was so kind with us and took care of all our needs without us even having to ask. Drinks refilled and plates cleared out. She was really kind with our little girl as well! We will definitely ask for her next time we come. We ended up ordering crab and shrimp boil, calamari and the crawfish pistollete and it was all really amazing!

Ambiance is cute and inviting. Service was excellent by Brianna & Love, they get 5 stars. They were very compassionate and knowledgeable about the menu and the food. We started out with crawfish pistoles that came to the table cold! I order the fried crawfish with crawfish étouffée . The etouffe tasted like burnt roux - the fried crawfish was hard as marbles - French fries was cold. I ask for French bread instead of toast and the weren't able to do that but could give me two hush puppies - tasted like brunt grease and were hard as rocks. I've been there many times when I visit a friend in Houston - this experience was so disappointing. We ask for the manager he couldn't come speak to us - so we as for the kitchen manager- who was on his break and could see us - my friend eats their at least twice a month - but we will NEVER eat there again. Whatever you have done to make a good restaurant so bad please try to go back with the great food that you have served in the past,

Our good friends raved about this seafood place close to their home. It wasn't bad. I forgot to take pics of all of our food. We did order fried green tomatoes which was quite a generous serving for an appetizer as well as oysters. Their crawfish was small but full flavored. We also ordered fried catfish. Their drinks were pretty good!

We tried so much food. Everything was absolutely delicious. I got the spicy garlic sauce for my crab & crawfish; it wasn't super horrible but i wasn't the biggest fan of it, I'd def try a different flavor next time. The service was fantastic & very attentive, we sat outside & drinks never got too low. A nice chill spot; I'll be back when i visit again.

First time trying this place out. Amaneigh did an amazing job answering all my questions I had about the menu. Roasted Oysters were delicious and the shrimp po'boys was to die for. Would recommend 10/10. Will be coming back.

I ordered delivery, and the food arrived timely. I got the crawfish étouffée, and while both the food and service were great, I was disappointed by the tiny cup of rice that came with my meal. I expected a more generous portion, as rice is a key part of the dish.

The food was so delicious even the kids loved their kids meals. The service was amazing. It was packed and busy but well kept. Only thing I wish is that they would put out seasoning like they used to. It was a great scene, but can always add a little bit more.

We were able to walk right in and get a table. Though it was a wait for service after we sat down. The waiter suggested the special they had where if you bought 2 crab leg clusters you go one free and that's what I went with. The flavor was good, though it was not spicy at all when I asked for spicy. The pistolet didn't have a ton of flavor either. The hurricane was delicious. There were some flies in the restaurant, it might be from the front door opening so much. But it's distracting when you're eating. On-site parking. Could definitely use better training with the waitstaff. I did like that they gave scissors with the crab also not just the cracker. It was helpful.

Realistically a 3.5 but rounded up to 4. Service was really great. Our waitress was fantastic! She was very attentive and kind. The food. The boiled shrimp and crab were really good. Good flavor and fresh enough. I had a platter with grilled or sautéed oysters, scallops, and fish. The platter was pretty good, tender. It wasn't super flavorful but mild. We didn't like the oyster part though. Kind of a weird textural thing and a higher fishy flavor which kind of threw us off. The not so great was the etouffee. It was so bland comparatively to other places. It took a lot of black pepper, some salt, and hot sauce to doctor it up. The gumbo was also just ok. Not the worst, not the best. My friend had an appetizer with bacon wrapped jalapeños and those were very good. Would come back again for some things. Pricing is reasonable.

Found this gem after searching for something close to home for a quick dinner with the kiddos. Needless to say, we will be back!! The service was exceptional!! The young lady that took care of us, Arly, was the BEST! Ask for her if you go She came to check on us throughout the meal to make sure we had everything we needed. We wanted for nothing with her. We had everything we needed. I had the one pound of boiled shrimp, potatoes, and corn with their spicy sauce. It was the perfect amount of spice. Full of flavor and not overwhelming with the amount of spices used. This will become my usual when I visit. The vibe of the restaurant was great also. Great music playing, great playlist, and most importantly for me.....clean restrooms!!!! It gives me neighborly vibes like they take the time to get to know their patrons and I like that a lot. See y'all again soon!!!

3rd time visiting and I have not been disappointed yet!!! The atmosphere is always amazing and welcoming. Our waitress was so warm, welcoming, and had a skill of discerning the menu items that would best fill our tastebuds. Kudos to the chef for amazing delivery of flavors. The parking gets a lil slim as the flow of customers flow through the door on weekends, but it was worth the wait. Now the eats!!! The grilled Bacon wrapped shrimp were amazing with the seasoned mixed vegetables!! Also the Boudin Balls (sorry gobbled up before pics) were a Cajun score of a 100!! Lastly, the crab boil combo was flavored to perfection and was fresh, not frozen crab legs. When traveling around 290/Cypress area and you have a seafood craving check them out!!! Enjoy!!

The food was good but Taylor, my waiter, was AWESOME. Taylor made sure my daughter and I were good the whole time we were there. Taylor delivered service with a smile and friendly conversation. My next trip, I'm definitely asking for him. The ambiance was nice. There was a nice patio and it was cool on the inside until I ate that spicy seafood boil. Lol... I love how they quickly clean the tables and seat the customers. They were getting customers in fast. I would definitely recommend this spot to my family and friends.

Always fresh and amazing seafood. Service is top tier! if you sit at the bar, Javier is amazing. Super personable and always remembers your food and drinks orders. If you're not able to sit at the bar, ask to sit with Allison. She's super attentive and always on top of whatever you need. Will continue to come here even outside of crawfish season.

Everything was bussin. Waitress was phenomenal. Crowd was fun and happy. Please stop reading this and go get some food. PLEASE my mouth is watering thinking about the food.

My wife and I had a great first experience at Bluewater! The food was awesome and the staff were very friendly. Taylor was a great waiter, very knowledgeable about the menu and made sure we were taken care of. We will definitely be coming back.

My server Casey took great care of my table. Enjoyed the poboy and fries! Was seated immediately and at a great booth. My drink order was promptly taken and delivered. Same for the food. Everything was hot and delicious.

This rating is mainly based on service. We arrived and it took fifteen minutes before we could flag down a server and ask to get the manager, who arrived and comped us a ceviche appetizer because we were not even asked to order our drinks or an appetizer during that time. We have been here several times and have always enjoyed the food. Another 45 minutes later and we were still not approached for our entree order. Finally, flagged the waitress down again and just asked her (Love) for our bill and the she said she made no further attempt to fix the issue or ask for a manager. If you're hungry ... don't go here on a Sunday mid-afternoon. This is only the second time I have left 0% tip. It was that bad. Food is good if you can order it, but today it sucked.

This is a rare find it's all good ... best dish so far are the grilled oysters but only on Wednesday after 5 great specials every day . Shrimp cocktail is big but they have a large size also . It's great . Like I said go see for yourself fun vibe very casual. Parking can be challenging but they have a large shell covered lot kind of behind the building. I really like this place a lot!

My parents and I came in on a Wednesday evening looking to try their crawfish, as they'd been satisfied with this place the year before. Service/Ambiance: Our waiter (who was also the bartender) was very attentive and nice! The restaurant itself has plenty of space inside and a newly built covered outdoor patio with plenty of TVs to host tables of all sizes. Food/Drinks: I had a mojito which was good. We ordered 5lbs of crawfish for 3 people that came with potatoes/corn and added sausage. As someone who's had many styles of crawfish from all over Houston, this place was very disappointing when it came to crawfish. My parents said it tasted frozen (like they cooked it previously and saved it for later), and the flavor of the crawfish itself was not something I was a fan of. The size of the crawfish was all over the place so I suspect they purchase sacks of mixed sizes. The juice inside tasted like they seasoned the water with chicken bullion and a lot of cumin, which was something I wasn't a fan of, and lacked depth in the flavor outside of tasting just that. Not sure if they changed things from previous years since my parents said it was good before but I would not come here again for crawfish.

Abigale was awesome and very attentive, her service and attentiveness was very commendable. The oysters were pretty good- not the absolute best I've ever had- but worth it- First 1/2 dozen weren't as clean, slightly gritty. The second were much cleaner-easier to enjoy the flavor.

Not typical but no one ever said hello, menu and no bartender to be found. Could not wait so ended up going to roadhouse

Came for super late lunch around 3:30p. Service was good. One server one floor and she walked around outside and inside to check on her tables. Inside was fairly a lot of people. I'm assuming for happy hour. I ordered the boiled shrimp w/ spicy garlic. Pretty tasty but there was an off spice that made it a bit bitter. Like burnt old bay. I didn't care for it but the shrimp were cooked well. Not overcooked. I got the crawfish pistolet. Pretty simple and tasty. Basically crawfish queso in bread. Bread was a bit too toasty on the outside. Also got the lunch friend shrimp and catfish. Catfish was perfectly cooked. Shrimp was over fried and bland. Shrimp definitely was not fresh. It was one of those frozen panko butterfly shrimp. Fries were decent. Love the build and design. Way more space indoor and out but IMO the champions location is better flavor wise.

Bluewater Seafood is such a great restaurant! Every time we come the staff is friendly and very attentive, the restaurant is very clean, and the food is amazing! I have to give a shoutout to Xavier, he's definitely our favorite waiter, very funny nice to look at, even my husband agrees.

Great Service! Ava was awesome even slid a chair around for our purses. One of my favorite places and we celebrated my birthday today so it was definitely memorable!

I came in on my off day from work for lunch and Bri was my waitress. She was very kind, friendly, attentive and wore a nice smile the whole time I was there. She answered any questions on the menu that i had and checked on me throughout my meal. She even went the extra mile and helped me pack up my left overs. Great customer service! The restaurant was clean and the food was amazing. I found this place on Google maps heading out of Houston and I'm so glad we have it as try.

Service was extremely slow. The order was wrong. What I received wasn't even something on the menu. Advertisement for special was misleading. We have been to Bluewater numerous times but I was extremely disappointed this time.

I came here back in June, the food was great. The restaurant had a nice theme to it and the service was not bad. We made our own seafood boil Cajun style and fried calamari as the appetizer.

Back again, and tried a few new things this time. First, our waitress Katy, who is the bar manager, was absolutely fabulous and super helpful! Mr. Pickey tried the sweet potato fries for the first time and decided he liked those a lot better than the regular fries and the onion rings . And I ordered a side of coleslaw, which we both agreed was really quite good as the crunch was still there, and it was very fresh tasting with a slightly sweet sauce--easy to tell they make it themselves. As usual we finished with Keylime pie, which is always a good thing :-).

Came for the crawfish stayed for everything else's! This was our First time dining with Bluewater this afternoon, and it went amazing We ordered a couple of appetizers, the BYOB boil and a beer Rita! The food was on point and the service was great. Our server Eden was extremely helpful with all our questions and making excellent suggestions (WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER) Over all a very nice spot for food and drink! We will be back and bring our friends:)

I used to come here all the time back in the day. Decided to make a stop in and couldn't have been more disappointed. First we ordered the kids food just so it came out and they were good. With that we ordered some cold shrimp for appetizers. For our meals we ordered the create your own boil. The waitress was trying to tell us that everything is made fresh but then went on to admit that everything comes frozen, even the lobster tail. So we passed on the tail and went for all crab. The boil came out about 45 minutes later with no other food. So they finally bring the kids food out after we ask about it. The burger was missing fries because I'm sure it had been sitting under the heat lamp and forgotten about so they made new fries. Now, we started breaking into the crab and it was freezing cold and felt like rubber. You could barely even get it out of the shell without it just crumbling into strips. I don't think I've ever had crab that was THAT BAD. We made our complaints known and Daniel the manager came to try to make things right. We even said we'd pay for the boudin balls which was the only good thing we had but he refused. Hopefully he gets some support from the owners to bring quality up. Anyways. The waitress never once came back to say a thing. We all got up and walked out still hungry. We will pass on this place next time. The food in that area just keeps going down hill.

It was my first time here and Sarah greeted me with a warm smile and answered every question I had about the menu. She made sure my food came out exactly how I wanted it and not once did I even have to think about my drink needing to be refilled or empty plates to be taken away. The manager Blaine even introduced himself to me and gave me a $5 gift card for my next visit and showed me how to sign up with their rewards system. Will definitely be back soon !

I picked up an order within the past week, which included fried shrimp. As I was chewing there was something tough in the shrimp, when I pulled it out of my mouth, at first I thought it was the vein but then I discovered it was a rubber band. It took 2 days to speak with a manager. After speaking with him he said that he would look into it & refund my money for the dinner. No refund to date. I'm through with this establishment.

If you are ever in the NW side of Houston, and want to visit a fun and friendly atmosphere with delicious food, Go To BLUE WATER 290!! The environment is enjoyable, the music is great, and makes the whole experience lively. Also, our waiter, Christian, is like no other! He was so attentive, and had us laughing. This was our second time with him, and we make sure we request him when we go. He is amazing!! Go see him, and Blue Water 290!

Moved near by blue water seafood so had to try it out because I love seafood of course, came in and was greeted sat at the bar. Mandy was awesome. Her service was excellent and very tentative. Will be back to see her!
