The food here is absolutely delicious! We tried a wide range of food here, and everything here was outstanding. The atmosphere inside of the restaurant is amazing, the customer service is top tier and the best part of all, the food came out quickly! I would recommend this place, the prices are very affordable and they give you a big portion! Don’t hesitate to stop by!

The seafood here is incredibly fresh and full of flavor! I tried the noodle with seafood and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked and so satisfying. Highly recommend if you’re craving fresh, tasty seafood.

Amazing seafood! The stir-fried noodles with squid, snail, and crawfish in the special house style were packed with flavor. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and the sauce was delicious. Plus, the staff was super friendly—great service all around. Highly recommend!

Hands down my favorite Vietnamese seafood spot in Houston! The food comes out hot and fresh, and they’ve got all the classic Viet street food dishes I love. They also have hot pot as well. Totally worth the drive from Austin just to eat here. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town!

Got recommended by a friend to give a try at this place and I did today with my family. We ordered variety of dishes so we could try as much as we could from the hot pot to lobster to mussels, scallops, escargot and etc..I was disappointed a little as they ran out of razor claims. Anyhoo, we started off with the garlic Parmesan chicken wings plus hush puppies, the wings were good as it was packed with garlic and very crispy, hush puppies was alright. Ngl, the scallops was my favorite as it tasted fresh with green onions on them, we ordered it grilled. The escargot was alright, was kind of bland, the mussels however was good. The sea snails with salted egg sauce was so creamy that I kind of felt like nah I had enough after 4, it was good but just too creamy for me. Now the lobster with cheese was a bit disappointing, very lack of flavors which I tried to dipping it with ranch then hot sauce to at least had some flavors to it but still, nah. The crawfish fried rice was also bland that I had to added soy sauce plus hot sauce. The Thai hot pot was ok but lack bit of lemongrass and the spice. But the service was good, our server did come by often to checked on our table.

This is trash food. Ordered 2 lbs of LiVE crawfish through Uber Eats, delivered fast, but none of them is fresh, all mushy. Not only the taste is mediocre, the most important thing is crawfish is not fresh while charging more for live crawfish compared to the frozen ones. Ended up trashing the entire order $ 25.90 of crawfish. I don’t want to destroy any business, but this is not acceptable. What a terrible restaurant.

Been to this place 2 weeks ago and love it. Spacious restaurant with great vibrant. Snails are good and tasty. Served in hot plates to keep them warm. Truc, my server, is sweet and helpful. Will come back to try other dishes.

I visited here since it's fairly new, and I was craving crawfish. This restaurant is clean and spacious, unlike most of the other older crawfish places along veterans memorial. They have mostly vietnamese seafood, boiled seafood, oysters, American seafood, wings, some cajun dishes, 4 versions of viet hot pot, and seafood platters (3 boiled and 1 fried). They were running the buy 5 lbs and get 1 free.....for 7.95/lb, so I ordered that. I also tried the blood clams. You get 6 with your order and 2 dipping sauces. Overall, I liked the crawfish and the sizes were pretty decent too. My one regret was to order spicier next time. Service was decent since the restaurant wasn't too busy during my visit. If it was super busy I could see how it would be much slower. I would definitely come back again if I was craving crawfish.

What attracted me to this establishment was the fact that they had so many good Vietnamese dishes like ốc len xào dừa, chân gà chiên giòn, lẩu canh chua to the specialty bag combos!! I can't handle much past mild seafood, but felt brave and ordered medium. Talk about looking like I just got lip fillers, because it was so good and flavorful to not suck the little mud bugs dry. I started to sweat off my makeup on my nose and upper lip while sweating on my forehead . There's room to improve for service since they don't necessarily respond right away lol, I did come on a Friday and I was one of the large tables so not holding it against them!

Found this close to house. Looks like new establishment in a newer shopping strip. Place is spacious and clean and also has an outdoor seating area. Food was good overall. Service was a bit slow as there was only 3 waiters/waitress working the entire place. Food comes out fast and plenty hot. Crawfish flavor is good. Overall I would recommend it.

Came to the restaurant yesterday evening and I'm shocked at how delicious the clams, oysters and hotpot are. The clams and the sauce go SO well together as well as the oysters. The crawfish is delicious too!

Katy, TX - Stumbled upon this hidden gem right outside Houston (Katy). The seafood here was beyond delicious! It is a Vietnamese fusion resto so I was in Heaven. From fresh catches to mouthwatering flavors, it was a seafood lover's paradise. We had the oysters (raw and grilled with garlic parmesan) and the Bluewave platter #2. Service was great. It wasn't crowded as we went early afternoon. They carry beer from around the world so if you're a beer lover, you will like this place. Cold beer pairs well with seafood. Place is clean with a beach decor. It's located in a strip mall so plenty of parking. The bar is huge!!!! They also have another location, I'm told, but again, this review is for the one in Katy close to Cypress. Give it a try!

My fiancé and I decided to try a restaurant for crawfish. We are fans of good service, good food and good prices. We ordered water and they never brought it to us. Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience at Bluewave. If we could rate it 0, we would. First off, we sat down and immediately given a menu. We ordered 7 lbs of crawfish, 2lbs of shrimp and 4 potato and two eggs. We ordered the garlic butter Cajun seasoning mild for the eggs and potatoes and spicy for the crawfish. The crawfish was over powered with garlic! Only good thing I can say is the food was hot af! The shrimp was disgusting. The other downside was they have 5 kids running around the restaurant with no home training. Literally hiding under the tables of other people eating. They was making extremely loud noise and playing tag! It was disappointing to see they were allowed to control their restaurant! We ask them to remake the shrimp in a different seasoning and they did, but now it made them overcooked. They must have used the same shrimp they originally gave to us and rinse them off and then reseasoned them. Overall, we will never comeback to the restaurant. It's just not our type of seafood. It was Vietnamese styled and was not appealing to our taste buds. BTW I HAD TO PEEL MY OWN EGGs!!! Our total for $134 for food we did not like! T

I came back mang time and tried more food. The food and service are much better. Waitress are friendly and helpful.

The food is insanely flavorful. Had the special fried rice and the grilled shrimp was full of flavors. There's this thin noodle dish with spring onions that I couldn't stop eating. The blackened tilapia was so moist but crispy on the outside was my favorite. I watched the football game on one of five monitors. Great experience! Outdoor deck available. Great hangout spots lots of parking. Definitely coming back!

Very bad food. Tartar sauce came with a dried film on top. It looked like it had been sitting out all day. Gross! Fried oysters were the worst I've had. They came with a thin layer of flour, no cornmeal. My food came out 25 minutes after my boys food. They never said sorry, and they only comped 10%! WTF!!

During my initial visits, this place consistently impressed me, but lately, the food has been bland and disappointing. Additionally, some of the staff, particularly at the bar, make me feel uncomfortable with their staring, almost as if they're gossiping in their own language. Sadly, we won't be returning. Instead, I highly recommend trying Yummy Seafood in Katy Asian Town! Their food is incredibly flavorful, especially the fried shrimp!

Been here 3 times and yesterday was the 4th . The foods quality has gone down and the amount has also decreased. The noodle didn't fill up the plate. No flavor and the veggies were chewy. The clams were good, and the frog's legs' salt and pepper were plain and chewy. It Tastes like a frozen frog's legs. Very bad like plastic. The catfish fried was good. We have to dip everything into the clams sauce. The thing that made us don't want to come back is the waitress give us the handheld checkout which she Pre-selected herself 18% tips. When I change it to 15% she wasn't happy. That's like forcing customers to give what the waiter want. I start with 10% and go up by the quality of the service.

A nice restaurant, cool bartender and good food. They have some sort BYOB situation probably because they don't have a full bar. Hence there are some seedy looking patrons sipping out of sippy cups probably loaded with some sort of electric koolaide. Bro, the restaurant looks great, why would you get cheap with the bar? Just get a beer and wine license, forget the liquor, and bust out that bar. It's the center point of the restaurant. I wanted eat and leave before these cool cats pull out their gats and start busting caps.

We have visited this restaurant on multiple occasions, the foods has been very good each time we ate there. The service we had was decent , staff were friendly and the place overall was nice and clean . My only complaint would be that we were there a couples of time during the weekend, Friday night or Saturday night, very early like 5-6 PM and they were already out of foods . Like crawfish, clams, mango salad, we were very disappointed, being so early in the night and they were out. Hope they do a better job of inventory mgmt

A place that advertised crawfish should have enough crawfish until 8pm dinner time or atleast most of the items on the menu not missing a 1/3 of the menu. If you come late expect only half of the menu available or the food items you came here for.

Tried out Bluewave Seafood from a post I saw on Facebook yesterday. The service was pretty good but they were slow so it was nice for us. The crawfish flavor was good but the medium garlic butter did not have much spice at all. My kids liked the chicken strips but the french fries had way too much black pepper and no salt on them. The sausage, corn and potatoes were good but I wish they had more flavor. I appreciated the $2 for the sausage was for a whole piece and not a half. I wish they had brewed ice tea and fountain drinks. They had canned sodas so no free refills. The restaurant inside is nice and clean. We ate on the patio today. The weather was super nice. Southern Cali weather in Houston. Kid friendly.

Spacious dining area with nice size bar seating in the middle and tons of parking available. Table service was nice. Prices are super reasonable and generous portions. Everything we ordered were very flavorful and could tell dishes were made to order. Everything came out hot. Mostly finger food offered to pair with adult beverages. They also have plenty of fried seafood baskets and boiled seafood combos. Also offering Vietnamese style hotpot which we will return to try. We dined in on Friday evening around 5 pm so it must've been happy hour since we got a 10% off on our bill. That's a nice little surprise. Give them a try if you're in the area for some good quality food.

Raw Oysters &French Fries = 5star Fried Catfish & Hush puppies = 1 star Gumbo = 2 star Fried lobster Tail 0 stars = since shell so hard We assume reheated/precooked and meat tough/needed knife to cut. Service was not great. Will not revisit.

Food is good. We've been here maybe 3-4 times. We've have taken family from out of town here when we did not want to venture to Bellaire. I just noticed that some of the dishes that we liked from our first visit were gone from the menu the second time we visited, but maybe because seafood is seasonal, their menu varies from time to time. I remember we had the fried chicken feet. Not a fan but could be a great bar food. The bar is located in the middle of the whole restaurant. It is Spacious and generally clean, but the restroom area needs improvement.

Keep coming back here for many times. They have several types of hot pot, a must-try for this cold weather. Service is excellent.

Just found this new location. Great food and atmosphere. One of the few places that offers Vietnamese style seafood. Ordered V9 Fried calamari and it was out of this world! My wife ordered fried Seafood platter and also loved it very much. Excellent service form the staff to the owner who actually visited our table and chatted with us. The portions are huge and took some with us .

Good Vietnamese food for the folks like me that like snails and shellfish. The platter #1 will fill you up with 2 filets of tilapia, 3 large shrimp, 3 fried oysters, 2 hushpuppies, and a lot of fries. The fries were good and everything was cooked well. My wife and daughter got the fried squid with chilies and onions. Good flavor on the squid, and it wasn't chewy. They also got the conch noodles. My wife got a cup of crab soup, but it wasn't hot when it came out, so it went back to get heated. She said it needed more flavor too, and was just ok. This was our 3rd visit to this location.

Good Service. Ordered the grilled oysters with the garlic butter, a combination bag for 3 and escargot . For the price food is very reasonable. I order the special for the sauce for the combo bag. I would highly recommend the garlic butter better. But also you can have it your way and add more spice.

The food just did not taste fresh. The raw oysters were a darkened color and did not taste good. The cooked oysters had chunks of hard shell in it and nearly broke my teeth. The crab soup has the consistency of snot and tasted terrible. The catfish plate was bland and the fries were soggy. The food came out very fast but the waiters only checked on us once. We waited a long time for our bill while watching the staff eat and entertain themselves without regard for their customers. We were charged 5.50 per Michelada but the menu said $1.50 each. I will not recommend this place. The Michelada were very tasty, but that was it. The place looked nice on the inside, but food was not good.

Ambient is amazing. Food is delish. Oysters are freshly shucked. Service at the bar is outstanding.

The crawfish was good but they put all the small ones at the bottom and the larger ones at the top. I also had raw oysters that were a decent size. But the not so satisfying part was drinking my frozen Rita and seeing lil brown bugs in my drink. I let my waiter know and he just said thank you. I told them they should clean their machine better. Last but not least I ordered a catfish with fries to go. And the catfish is bland with lots of black pepper seasoning.

Fresh and delicious seafood. The presentation is clean and nice. Seafood is cooked perfectly. I would come here every week. Highly recommend this place in H town.

Must try if you like seafood. They use typical vietcajun flavors but the variety of seafood was a surprise. I've been back three times within two weeks. They make everything right and they use strong flavors without taking away from the seafood. The wings were also excellent and would recommend.

So this place just opened up by my house and I was actually really excited to eat here the service was OK you can tell the server was new and still learning the menu the food itself was OK it was very OK the whole experience the venue itself is beautiful so I think maybe in a few months I might go back and try it again to see if they have gotten their menu flavors back up

The service and food were great. The decor was so nice so we were hoping it would be good food. Our lunch was hot and fresh. Will definitely be coming back!

Me and my wife were excited to try this place for my birthday. After looking at the reviews we were willing to go out of our way to try some good food. We were extremely let down by the bad service and bad food. We ordered drinks as starter and then we were rushed into ordering our food. We ordered 1 dozen raw oysters, 1dozen charbroiled oysters, fried catfish plate, garlic butter shrimp, and crab soup. The oysters were rotten and old. The catfish plate was Blane. The charbroiled oysters were okay. The grab soup was terrible. On top of everything the manager was just out of control all he wanted to do is talk at the bar without any regulars to customer service. Once he finished being so loud at the bar he than began to eat and be a loud mouth behind the counter where customers pay. So unprofessional!!! I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

If you are looking for Vietnamese Cajun in Katy, THIS is the place! Fresh seafood with great flavors. The restaurant is spacious, clean and fast service. It's the perfect place for date night or family dinner. We will be back soon!

I've been waiting for this location to open up for awhile now. Garlic butter shrimp : the quality was very good! The flavor, not so much. I asked for extra spicy and it wasn't even spicy at all.... The flavor also was very very bland. Grilled mussels : they were actually very very good! Flavor was there, wasn't too chewy and seem very fresh. Oyster : my fav dish out of all. Oyster was soooo fresh and very good. Steamed clams with Tom yum : it was average. I didn't have anything to complain about it. Overall, oyster and grilled mussels was probably the best dishes. Service here was honestly okay. I would think that maybe they're a new restaurant that service would be top notch but they missed a lot of things. They didn't ask me how my food was, never refilled my drink, and when we were eating the oyster they took our Tabasco away to give it to another table. He did ask if I was done with it and I wasn't but what was I suppose to say; no? You're really not suppose to take the condiments away until I'm fully done.

Seems everything is from a box. The catfish was really salty and mushy. The crawfish seemed from frozen also. The fried oysters were gross. The shrimp tasted bland, could only taste the seasoning. Fries were low quality. Chicken feet were okay, and the squid actually tasted good. The best thing I can say is that the service was good, and the Michelada was excellent.

I am very impressed with everything at this place and here's why. 1) The dishes here are very flavorful, especially the clams with lemon grass. The seafood platter has such a nice bold citrus flavor that can create a mouthwatering taste. Oh... the michelada here has got to be the best!! 2) Everyone there from waiters to manager to owner are so super friendly. They always check up on your periodically to ensure everything is going well and whether you need anything. 3) One thing I'd like to emphasize... The very chilled-concept like atmosphere there. You can tell the owner has put in a lot of thoughts and investments from A-Z. All in all, this is a wonderful place for a really nice place for both big and small gatherings. And even if you were to just want to come here alone or with just a friend or two, the bar lounge is astounding! I highly recommend this place! If this place were to be close to my house within 15min, I'd chill here after work every day!

Went there with my friend on Friday June 23 rd, at 1:00. PM. The food was very good, and plenty. However the waiter was very rude, unprofessional, and very unfriendly.

Nice place, patio, waitstaff and owner are very personable. I ordered escargot and my husband ordered the snow crab. This a soft opening and I realize they are working out the kinks, the escargot was a disappointment, so many chopped green onions on it and peanuts, for me green onions are very pungent and that's all I could smell, plus chopped peanuts, bland except for the onion flavor, chewy. Next up was the fried catfish, fried oysters and shrimp, all good. You can smoke on their patio, they could use fans out there.

First time trying this place out and it's really nice on the inside and the food was hot, fresh n sexy. My server Diesel was a great guy too, personable and knew what was what in the food. Only open like 3 weeks so far, hope for many more to come. You know a place is good when they are busy and not dead when they first open. -Guy with the dice

What a racist shitty place. Waited over and hour for my food that he apparently forgot to ring in because my mothers dish came out first and after that nothing. Then still tried to fucking charge us? Yo talk about really unexperienced dimwit running that place. Hmm if you guys were backed up why not stop by the table to say so or offer something complimentary to snack on while we wait for them to catch the shellfish from the sea. Their understaffed and oh yeah I forgot racist. Everyone in that place was getting food thrown at them except our table. We live right around the corner and we wanted to make this our regular spot but after tonight trust me we will never be back and urge people not to come back again.

We love this place. The food is fresh and delicious. They have the regular seafood menu for nonViet customers and Viet menu that accommodate all people love authentic Vietnamese taste or a twist of Asian fusion flavor. The service is absolutely wonderful and make sure you are happy customers . Highly recommend this restaurant. Besides all the big screen TVs at the bar allow everyone can see all televised latest sport events , the restaurant is spacious and clean . The vibe is warm, cozy, and casual for family and friend gathering any time

The bartender service was amazing! She was very attentive and kind. The food tasted really good. It was fresh and big portions. The wait for the food was extremely long. They do need to work on that before their grand opening.

The foods was okay. Lots of seafood we wanted was out, since it's still new im not surprised there arent that many options from the menu. Their house special sauce for crawfish was good. Would recommend that if you dont know what sauce to choose from

The food is good! The servers can be more attentive. Seems that they just want to run away from the table. The booths seats were dirty! We will be back, they have a good menu.

Absolutely Horrible. The catfish tasted like it was fried with OLD fish grease, and the catfish was mushy. SMDH. Worst experience ever!!! I had an allergic reaction because apparently ALL the fried food was fried in the same grease ( fish, shrimp, French fries, etc....) Will never eat there again.
