BluWater Bistro - Leschi

Great view with fine food. Nothing special when it comes to the meal. If you’re looking for a lake front view with the mountains in the background then this is the place to check out. If you’re looking for good/great food then look somewhere else. More of a tourist spot than a foodie spot. The clam chowder was the best thing on the menu and even that was a 6.5 out of 10.

First time here. I came on Friday around 4:30 with a large group. We were seated and served quickly considering the size of our party. All of the food was beautifully plated but could have used a little more seasoning. I played it safe and got the Halibut fish and chips. I tasted the jerk chicken satay. It was okay. Even though food wasn't the best I would come back for the service and atmosphere.

We visited this restaurant with friends on a Friday evening and were impressed by the ample parking and spacious seating area. The atmosphere is vibrant, the food is outstanding, and the overall vibe is fantastic. I highly recommend a visit. An added bonus is the stunning view of Mount Rainier during sunset, as well as the beautiful sights of Bellevue downtown and the Lake Washington waterfront. For food we ordered the Ahi poke bowl and the Mediterranean platter, and both dishes were fresh and deliciously prepared.

First time here, great service our server was very attentive and nice. The view and atmosphere was very nice for the location. Food wasn't as good as i thought it would be but the view made up for it. Thai mussels were not bad though. Same with the civeche, prime rib did not taste too good, soggy portions. Again a nice place to see but food was below average.

Went to BluWater Bistro for the first time. Came up as highly rated for the Leschi neighborhood. Has lakeside location and delicious menu offerings. The fish and chips, Blu Prime rib dip, and the added treat of complimentary banana bread all contribute to a delightful dining experience. What could be better than enjoying it all while gazing out over Lake Washington and off into mountains?

Visited BluWater Bistro this past Sunday and the water and atmosphere was great. Our server Madeline was amazing: perfect amount of attentiveness and engagement. We ordered Shrimp and Grits with was good and Steak and Eggs. Shrimp and grits was a good dish. My Steak and Eggs cooked good, I didn't enjoy how the potatoes were prepared. The fruits on my plate there were some blueberries that were a bit mushy. Overall, 4 out 5 stars because of the mishaps with fruits and bland potatoes. View were amazing!!!!

Went here for Valentines a few months ago. Saw good reviews, menu looked good. Made a reservation. I understand that Valentines is a busy time, but I didn't expect to be seated in hastily-erected extra tables indoors, which were just metal outdoor patio tables with a tablecloth on them. We were given a special limited menu for Valentines, which listed specials including one involving surf & turf that had an included glass of champagne. When we tried to order it, we were informed it wasn't available and the price was actually higher. Food was OK, but for what we paid, I expected a higher quality. Most importantly: The restaurant has been sending me text spam since I made the reservation. I won't be going back.

Good food, nice view and good wine, my server was too busy and never brought my cheese, but the food was excellent😋 We had a nice time, we are from Texas
