BLVD: Brunch Lunch Vibes Dinner (Daiquiris Wings & Seafood)

Restaurant could be better the the atmosphere was nice for a sports bar/ restaurant It had TVs and music playing music wasn’t too loud. You could hold a conversation. However, our table wasn’t clean. The floor had food underneath the table. The host was nice and she cleaned it promptly but the cleanliness of the restaurant could’ve been better. They only had one wait staff serving all the tables the price for the quality of food was unreasonable. I ordered fish and grits itcame with one piece of fish. That was the size of my hand. As in the picture they give you a whole bowl of grits. They were creamy, but they kind of taste like they have been in the refrigerator. My daughter ordered chicken sandwich and fries. The fries was nice and crispy. I didn’t eat any of the sandwich. Her sandwich came with bacon. The bacon was greasy and like jerky. The amount of food for the price is unreasonable most places you get two pieces of fish at minimum to three pieces they give you one piece of fish and a bowl of grits for $18. They include gratuity in the bill which I understand but what if I thought that was a four dollar service versus the eight dollar service than that’s what I shouldve been able to pay.The drink they call a Mocktail is nothing more then frozen Kool-Aid and it was disgustingly sweet to me.

The food was delicious! No pork on my fork!! & The waitress 'Love' handled our family reunion group so smoothly even amongst the chaos of our decision making!! Hats off to you girly!! Definitely will be making a trip back!!

First time attending Wednesday nights Live Band. I typically stop in early for the Nitty Gritty (my normal grits w/salmon croquettes—scrumptious). I was truly glad I switched it up this time. I had a TERRIFIC time and the service surely doesn’t disappoint!!! The bar/hostess/wait staff are always EXTREMELY accommodating and quite nice to add. Chef A also allowed a few of us to try her homemade chili, which was going to be a new item on the menu. I will definitely be back on Thursdays to enjoy karaoke and I can’t leave out the Happy Hour menu. The veggie quesadillas and catfish bites were a hit for me. Thanks for all you do and I GENUINELY appreciate the CONSISTENCY!!!!!!

Had a great time with my besties at brunch last Saturday. We even had the opportunity to meet comedian Adele Givens there!

I am part of a local non profit organization in the city of Detroit and we needed a restaurant that serves simple American food and could accommodate a party of 15. This place was recommended to me by a friend. I completed an inquiry online and two days later received a call back from the manager, Trey. He was professional and explained the different packages I could choose from. All the packages were very reasonably priced. On the day of the event I arrived early to ensure everything was set and ready to go. We choose the private dining room in the very back. We had our own big screen TV to play music and/or watch movies. The room has a curtain to maintain privacy from other patrons of the restaurant. Our server was Syndey and she was amazing! The food came to table hot and fresh and tasted good (get the catfish!!). The only complaints I had were they were out of the lamb chop bites and the turkey chops and these were entrees ordered by people in our party. It would have been nice to know before we started ordering what was out of stock. The other complaint was that the music in the rest of the restaurant was a bit loud. But those were minor things for us. I was pleased and the members of our board and our guests were too. We will be back.

This place is most definitely the worst, I really didn't mind the 30 minute wait to be seated but they put us next to a table that probably could seat 8 probably 9 people and if this young lady didn't have atleast 25 people in her bday party. They were standing over us because there was no place for them to sit, I mean butts all on our heads and the staff sees this, I even asked can we move to the empty table next to us and was told no, they were expecting a party. This went on for over an hour and no we didn't have our food, was told sorry for the wait but they were having a party. I asked to speak to the manager, after a 10 minute wait I was told she was too busy, she couldn't come out to speak to me. Of course after this we just left, this place was just awful when it comes to customer service. The tv was side ways, now how was anyone supposed to watch that, they get a negative zero in my book.

The appetizers were so good. We didn't even get to a main meal. They had a nice selection of drinks and wine. The atmosphere is so cute. They even had a private room. We left just as the D J was setting up. The music was wonderful we had a great time. Next time, I will order a meal.

Over rated and food was to expensive. Spent over a hundred dollars for two people. Ordered a scrimp and lobster stir fry. Lobster tails where the tiniest I'd ever seen. Maybe 3oz's and I'm be generous. But all and all the food was good. Seasoned just right but their prices needs attention. Be different if this was exclusive but that it's not.

BLVD in Southfield was an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, everything was cooked to perfection, and my guests enjoyed their meals just as much as I did. The service was just okay. not the best I've had, but definitely not the worst. One thing to note is that gratuity is automatically included, no matter the party size, so keep that in mind. This spot was originally under a different name, and I previously had a terrible experience. However, whoever took over has completely transformed the place, and they did an incredible job. I'll definitely be back!

I went here yesterday because Dj Tee two times was on the ones and twos in celebrating her birthday! It was around happy hour for Friday, August 22. I got the peach bliss martini for the seven dollars. I got the mango wings for seven dollars. You can't really beat their happy hour prices. Both the drinks and food was good. The martini was strong. The service was a bit slow. But the music and vibes was a good time. The waitress told me she had to literally go wash my knife and bring it to me because I don't know... my Cobb salad was amazing! My partner really enjoyed his fried fish and chicken quesadilla and he was extremely happy to get it at the seven dollar deal or two! The bus boy looks like a child and it made me nervous considering labor Laws lol . We also had to stand at the front stand for a while as the hosts looked for a place to sit us. My partner walked away and found us a booth small by the Dj in no time. He actually recommended her to put us there!

Was in town with family and this establishment was next door to our hotel. Great vibes if you like loud music. There was a watch party going on as well. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. We were seated in about 5 minutes. Though our server was nice, she wasn't as attentive as expected. Notably, there were six of us and we were informed that everything had to be on one check, a policy that we didn't really care for. I ordered salmon bites and fried okra, which were delicious. One of my sisters ordered catfish nuggets and fries and my other sister ordered the catfish dinner, which was good as well. The rest of the table (my cousins) ordered wings (served whole). With the exception of the traditional wings ordered, the rest of the table didn't care much for their orders of the other flavors (honey hot, lemon pepper, garlic parm).

Food was very tasty, me and my sister ordered a couple of appetizers and entree. The waitress, was great at her job, friendly, pretty smile. It was pretty much busy in the restaurant, quite a bit of Christmas exchange gift parties, which was nicely located throughout the restaurant. Although the parties was going on, it wasn't so loud in the restaurant, where you wasn't able to hear one another, whom you was dinning with.

Staff was excellent and the waitress Dia was so thoughtful and attentive . There was a spoon promotion going and there were some really great Paloma margaritas on the menu . I absolutely loved the fries and okra mixed veggies and jazzy rice was excellent for my vegan cuisine . The bartender kept the party going for sure and they have a decent crowd for karaoke night which is Thursday

The salmon bites were over done, sauce came in to-go containers as if they didn't have normal restaurant quality dishes. BUT HERES THE REAL TEA: if you're a woman, do NOT come here alone , especially at night. The men that work here are very creepy and will approach you numerous times if you appear to be ALONE. One waited until I was done eating to watch me walk to my car, then tried to approach me and ask for my number. I had to tell him NO THREE TIMES. I was extremely frightened, and scared. This behavior is SO UNACCEPTABLE!!! I came to get a quick bite and go home. As a woman I should not have to bring a man with me everywhere I go to feel safe. I should be able to go out to eat without being approached by the weird creepy bus boy, the wait staff, AND the men standing at the door for "security" If a manager sees this review, PLEASE TELL YOUR MALE STAFF TO GET IT TOGETHER, because next time i'm calling the police.

I generally like BLVD. However today...I got the salmon sandwich for lunch and it tasted like a salt lick. The online menu described it as ginger glazed salmon, grilled onions, and ginger aioli. Sounds good, right?? My sandwich had cheese, no grilled onions, and if there was a ginger aioli the salt overpowered it. Too far away to go back so it's $18 down the drain. The staff and service was great but the food was a definite NO today.

It was a good spot, drinks were okay could've been stronger. Got a lemon drop and the daiquiri flights. The fried pickles and catfish bites were by favorite! Service was decent at the bar

Came here thinking I'm walking into D'Bos. WRONG! I didn't know until I got the menu, and it had me wondering where I actually was lol So there's two menus. One for drinks, and one for food. I completely forgot to take a photo of those. I asked my waiter to confirm and she explained to me how less than a month ago, the name and menu of this restaurant has now changed. I still decided to order since the daiquiri machines were still up and running. Of course I ordered a daiquiri. I also got the lamb sliders ($14) and the salmon bites ($15). The salmon bites came out in like 30mins and were hot, delicious, and seasoned well. Not to mention lightly breaded which is perfect! My sliders came out 20 mins later and were fresh and delicious! I was very shocked at how fresh and good the food tasted, especially since I originally came for a daiquiri and wings! The music was great, as expected. The vibe was chill. You can have a conversation and actually hear without screaming. Even though it was completely unexpected, I enjoyed my time here and would return.

That catfish! Fried to perfection! Great service and the ambiance was everyone is there to have a good time.

What saves this place is the Happy Hour. Server was very nice, the min. We walked in the door was aalready told.therr be a 30 to 40 min wait for food. Still sat thrr cause wanted our friends from Atlanta to see.

Terrible service. Drinks are watered down. Seafood boils are horrible - please remove these from the menu. Perhaps happy hour is best bet? Catfish bites are good. I don't recommend this place and will never be back.

BLVD was a wonderful experience!! I celebrated my birthday there last night with friends, and everything from start to finish was perfect. The food was delicious, and the music truly set the vibe for the evening. I absolutely loved the live band and the singer--please keep that same energy going throughout the summer! The atmosphere was just right. The crowd was mature, fun, and respectful--I felt completely safe and relaxed the entire night. There was no tension or drama, just good vibes all around. It was the kind of "grown and sexy" crowd that makes you want to come back again and again (lol). PLEASE continue to keep Wednesday nights that way! The younger crowd has plenty of other places to go. I'll definitely be returning for more fun. Thank you, BLVD, for making my birthday celebration amazing!

I highly recommend the salads here! Great aesthetic and nice size portion. Quality ingredients. I had the BVLD salad. I ordered salmon bites on the side. Loved the mocktail "In Traffic" Try this place out on Wednesdays 8-11 for a great time with the band that plays funk, r&b, hip hop, soul and anything else they feel like having fun with. I love the adult, yet non- stuffy vibe of this place on Wednesday. Great crowd and kind waitstaff. I'll be back to try brunch, game night and karaoke!

The food was good. Had catfish bites and sheep burger. The frozen drink (nonalcoholic) was pricey for the amount of actual drink received. The burger was cooked to order the fries were just ok. The music was great. Service was good. Great having a place you can get something to eat after 11pm. The lavatory needed cleaning and only 1 of 2 stalls in Ladies room was functional.

Well the wait is 30 mins and longer. The atmosphere is very nice vibe. The waiter was very nice but slow. Food was ok took 30 mins to just get breakfast. If you don't mind the wait then you should visit. They need to improve on the service and turn the music down I can't even hear the person across from me due to the music is too loud. Upon entering this establishment it's really loud, but it gives off great vibes!! We were seated immediately, and able to order pretty quickly!! We started with our appetizers ofCatfish Nuggets and the Soul Roll both were delicious and the sauce was OMG smack yo momma good! Then my drink was the Key Lime which tasted like a key lime pie literally!! So freaken good!! My granddaughter had the Smooches to drink, which was really good as well!! My entree, I had the Sammy Joe (Salmon Burger) which was really good on rye toast along with Citrus Truffle Fries (sooo good) My granddaughter had the Steak BLVD with Jazzy Rice and Feisty Potatoes (she didn't like, no feisty) but she enjoyed everything else!! The ambiance is good, but it's a lil too loud, u can't hear one another talk without tryn to get closer across the table, or shouting but otherwise the music vibe was good n they had a steady flow of a mix of ppl from all ages!! They have happy hour until 7pm for food and drinks! Good place to hang out for a date night or to hang out with friends!!

Trinity is great. 10:/10. Food good too. Good portions. Trinity is the best server ever. She handled this difficult party really well. Amazing

This restaurant was "rebranded" about a month ago from D'Bo's to BLVD. Nothing has changed but the menu, which is a good and bad thing. Food was still tasty and the live music was still great, but unfortunately the service is still terrible. For a party of 5, everyone's food came out at different times. When asking for silverware we were brought the cheapest flatware I've ever seen.....1/2 step above plastic ware. I mention this because the food is not cheap. For a party of 5, where only 4 of us had 1 alcoholic drink each, our bill was $400! After paying the mandatory 20% gratuity for sub par service, I felt like I should have eaten at a fine dining establishment, which this is not. Hopefully with the "rebranding" management will work to improve customer service and value.

This review is based our customer service experience. We left after 40 min of not being serviced. We had a reservation at Noon, we checked in and were seated immediately. Check. After 20 min we notified the person that checked us in. She approached a waitress,(Sydney) who told her that she double seated her section. Huh? So did she intentionally ignore us to send a message to the hostess to don't double seat her section? Bad customer service. After a few minutes she brought us water and took our drink order. Again we waited 10 minutes. In the meantime, tables around us were being seated and serviced. At that point, I told my husband let's go. I politely shared feedback with the hostess to make her aware of our experience. This restaurant charges a mandatory 20% gratuity on all checks. In my opinion, gratuities are earned not imposed. Even if we had stayed then I wouldn't have wanted to give a top tier gratuity based on our level of service. Management: investing in training your employees to give top tier customer service could be beneficial to your establishment. You didn't miss on just one customer, you missed on that customer's community of friends, families and business associates. Level-up and invest in customer service training for your employees. We left and enjoyed a beautiful outdoor brunch at Malek Al-Kebob located in Dearborn, Michigan. Excellent Food Excellent Service Nice Vibe Plus I tipped a deserving 25%. Went in after noon for lunch and waited. And waited. Once we were at a table, more waiting. Our a guy brought us water and we asked for coffee. He said he'd grab our waitress. More waiting. After 20 mins our waitress came and took our order; pancakes with bacon and spicy potatoes and an order of biscuits and gravy and home fries. After another 20 minutes our food started showing up a plate at a time. Each time they warned us the plates were hot. Well that's because they microwaved the food. My biscuits and gravy were room temp and my friend's pancakes were thin and cold. The bacon was a little overdone but it was still good. The potato dishes were both cold. The plates however were hot. Microwaved again... Nice looking place, the staff don't seem to know what they're doing tho and if I want microwaved food I can do that at home. D+ just cause the place was clean.

Great service, lively atmosphere and good food! Beautiful festive Christmas trees and decor! Food was well seasoned! Flights of daiquiris were so good!

Customer Service - slow . Pack your patience Chicken Slider -- supposed to come with aioli and a pickle . They forgot the pickle . Cheese was overly melted where you thought is was drizzle of sauce vs a slice of pepper jack Chicken tenders - good , food definitely comes out hot . Dranks - eh , just okay . Flavorful but not packed with liquor . Vibes - blah , they have some work to do

Dropped in at 11:15 am, looked like we were the first customers. Kai was our waitress and I will look for her again - just the right mix of attention and chill. Coffee was delish but the food tho? A++++. I had catfish and grits; hubs had the breakfast plate. Will go back. That's the best review of all.

You could improve service! If your charging 20% gratuity, you should get greeted and served. What's up with having real silverware? Plastic is for carryout. We couldn't even flag the wait staff or the bartender down. The bad service overshadowed the decent food.

$40 bucks and still hungry The food was decent. I ask for the platter, which should have came with catfish, shrimp, chicken and sausage. well, that was all my receipt anyway. What I received was one small piece of fried catfish, six small shrimp and a handful of fries for $30 bucks, plus I tipped $10 to the new waitress and I told her I'll never be back. I'm still hungry! lol she didn't even care that she lost a customer because She was too excited for that $10 bucks. She did tell me that they are switching up the menu and they should have took that off of the receipt but I feel I should've gotten A platter not a piece of fish and six shrimp calling it a platter. I should've took a picture. No should've went to Coney Island.

We have our every 3 month Central High school lunch there. We started in December 2023 we came again in March when it was D'BO's. They changed name two wks ago to Blvd. Supposedly same owners and mgmt. But today it was horrible. Waited almost 2 hours to get food then it was in parts. Bacon first later grits I said what is that ? Soup? It was soupy. I told waitress. She said she would ask about it then eggs came. Terrible. My friend had biscuits with gravy . One was ok the other was hard as a hockey punk! I told guy who was half owner but he really didn't do anything but say well we just changed name got different menu cook. Told my friend he would bring another biscuit. Never came back. Waitress did take 30% off our bill.needless to say we won't be back.

The service is horrible. Had to request water as we had been sitting for at least 10 minutes. January 18, 2025, It was MLK weekend and My birthday. An event in the back room was more important than the customers in the front. The ambiance was messed up as the music being played thru the tablet kept cutting off. The food was ok, the grits are peppered up. Grits should not be automatically seasoned. No condiments on the tables. Water on the floor near the bar from the leaking ceiling. 20% Gratuity is autonatically added in no matter how many are in your party. We had reservations, they weren't ready when we arrived and made a couple move to accomodate us. I did not like that! Horrible birthday brunch.

they do not honor reservations. don't waste your time. I got a call 10 MINUTES BEFORE MY BOOKED RESERVATION to tell me there wasn't any room. So what's the point of reservations?????? didn't even attempt to make it right. Also the prior time I went, the guy bartender was extremely rude and literally said nothing to me or who I was with until we did, maybe bc. add 20% gratuity to any check amount to they don't care about customer service

Went for brunch yesterday with my friends. The food was absolutely bland we ordered enough to share with the table and we all had the same reaction. It's kind of hard to mess up breakfast food so we were shocked I have the that's my jam sandwich oddly enough the egg on the sandwich tasted of popcorn. We only saw our waitress when taking our order and to give us the bill. There was no service at this place with 20% gratuity already added to your bill stay away from this place beside the drinks and truffle fries it was a terrible experience

The ambiance is cool. The music is cool. The service is HORRIBLE!!!!!! Sat there for 45 minutes with no service but approached by 3 different people that said someone would be with us soon. One of those staff, when we got up and walked out, avoided talking to us as she watched us walking out. We tried to understand but no explanation was offered. They'll never see me again.

We went to brunch on an early Sunday afternoon. They were already running out of pretty much everything on the menu or just didn't have it to make. I asked for light cheese on my salmon sandwich, she came back to the table and said they put extra cheese on it and it was the last piece of salmon left, and to try to choose something else on the menu. Everyone in our group was disappointed when they got their food. No one ate and we ended up going to a restaurant down the street. I hope they make necessary improvements to run more efficiently, I'd like to see this restaurant thrive and succeed.

Love their Quesadillas! The vibe is always fresh too. from the live band to their various DJs. Good food and good times.

Lamb Burger and Truffle fries are very good, really like the menu overall. Great drink selection as well.
