BLVD Wine Bar - Review - Long Island City - New York - The Infatuation

"BLVD doesn’t have a big enough by-the-glass selection to make it a must-visit from other parts of the city, but if you live in the area or want somewhere to decompress after listening to your friend “hmm” for the last three hours at MoMA PS1, this is the best place to drink wine in Long Island City. The wine list is organized by style and has options from all over the world, with a lot of good bottles under $50. The best times to come are Happy Hour (weekdays until 7pm) when you should sit in a plush seat at the long bar and drink a few $7.50 glasses of wine, or anytime on Monday, when bottles are all half-price." - Matt Tervooren

Lovely! Cheese and meat plates were fantastic. I must say, I’ve been in the hospitality industry 20 years and you can’t find hospitality as perfect as our server Marcelo - detail-oriented, sweet, and an absolute pleasure

Cute, modern wine bar. Great wine selection and good happy hour specials. Plus half off bottles of wine on Mondays. Haven't tried the food yet beyond the meat and cheese board

This is a cute little wine bar, drinks and apps are pricey so expect to pay a good bit. The atmosphere was cozy and we went on a rainy evening and the staff inside was very friendly(which always comes as a surprise in New York). In love with the Bellini and the pizza flatbread was really filling for two people.

Nice place for drinks with a quiet outdoor seating area in the back. Cobb salad was tasty but a little on the light side even with the chicken.

I ordered the crispy duck hash and a mimosa, which was a splendid way to start my day. The duck itself was somewhat dry and there was far more greens than I was expecting, but the egg was poached absolutely perfectly and brought the whole dish together. Altogether a very delightful experience and would definitely want to go back to try the Lobster Bacon Benny.

This is a lovely find, with views of the water in LIC. 50℅ off bottles on Mondays + REALLY great food. The bartenders are friendly + quick with the pour.

Great food and drinks. Prices are a bit high but as mentioned the finger food tastes really good. Cocktails are strong and taste good (but small with lots of ice). Not so great: they automatically charge 18% gratuity for any size of the party. Even for couples. This is not disclosed on the menu or by the staff before ordering. They point it out really quickly when they bring the check and if you don´t "catch it" you´ll end up tipping 35-40% alltogether. So not disclosing this beforehand is something that no decent place should allow itself. I usually tip more than 18% but having someone automatically charge 18% without a notice is unacceptable.
