Wow! The food is very good! Best burger I’ve had in a while. We visited randomly and we were not disappointed. The owner and staff chatted with us during our entire stay. I would come back here in a heartbeat when I visit again! I got the spicy smash burger and it was really good. Seasoned well & the spicy sauce was delicious and one of a kind. House made pickles, perfectly smashed burgers, great sauces, and friendly service. Perfect combo! There are tons of burger places but BMC stands out with quality that’s a lot rarer down here. Really solid house made ingredients and good details throughout. The burgers are excellently crispy and delightfully onion loaded. Tried a hot dog and it was equally excellent. Longways cut and cooked on the flat top, it’s a good experience of flavor. I picked my own toppings (BMC sauce and onions) but they have preset options too. Fries on the side were nicely seasoned. Added on the garlic sauce and really enjoyed that too. Excellent spot and I’m so excited to try more in the future.

I don’t even know where to start, It is so nice to finally have a local Smashburger place close to home. Everything in the menu is amazing they cook it fresh right in front of you. The owner is super cool and very hands on he pays very close detail to every order as if it was his own the consistency of the food is amazing I have never had a bad meal from there. A must try!

The k dub burger was fantastic. It was mild not too spicy. The fries were a home run. The seasoning was great. I enjoyed the curry ketchup too. Overall A+. It was a unique take on smash burgers and I will be back again soon.

A genuinely fantastic Smash Burger restaurant. Fast service and nice staff. Everything is seasoned with care and perfection, I'm not a fan of pickles but BMC knows how to make it blend nicely with the patty. Their stickers are also cool, this one-of-a-kind spot is 100% worth a try.

It was just not good. 2 out of the 3 meals we got were incorrectly made. The dinning area is super small, we were basically on top of the family next to us. The A/C was broken. They didn’t have any stand alone condiments. We wanted ketchup and they gave us 4 packets…for 3 meals. They also didn’t have salt and pepper. We went because the reviews were great but our experience was not ideal.

One of the best burger places in town service was amazing. Food is super delicious. Highly recommended by anyone I would lovely come back. These guys are amazing. Best delicious food in town.

Great atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The owner (J Rok) is such a cool dude that definitely knows his business. The food was delicious. I had the patty melt with a side of tots. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Ft. Lauderdale. Cheers.

i'm going to start with a very unpopular opinion that you won't hear many people admit or say especially customers.... the food is to good to be this cheap! the quality was amazing . was our first time here we walked in 11 of us and everyone of us were happy with the service and food! i wouldn't steer you wrong come here and get full with tasty food! the people that work here are very personable as well and did i say how good the food is ?

This place is the perfect hole in the wall spot, the smash burgers are perfect and taste amazing, the ingredients are good quality and you can tell when you take a bite. The chili is home made, the hot dogs are great quality beef dogs as well, home made sauces that are out of this world, you should try them all, and the totts are definitely crispy and delicious. I've tried everything on the menus plus specials they have had. The employees are always great and the owner Jay is real kind and cares about what his customers think. Taking something simple and making it outstanding. Yes always get 2 pattys, yes that means you ladies. I was looking for a good burger spot here in Oakland park and this is the one, better than Others I have tried in the area. I recommended this place to my neighbors and now they are regulars. You are welcome in any store, I have come after the gym and you can see the cooks make your food in front of you or sit outside! My boyfriend was also a big fan when he was visiting from MA.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. First off, I am not a burger/hotdog super fan so in order for me to say this is good, it must be good. I actually did not have a burger, I had a hotdog, the sourkraut one to be exact. It was amazing, it has a mustard sauce on it that was so tasty, the flavors were crazy, this was not a flimsy hot dog. Also, who knew tator tots could be this good? Whatever seasoning he put in them was so full of flavor! Had a craft beer to go with it of course. They have a free arcade game inside, a tables and awesome staff in a fun atmosphere! Parking is limited. Few parking spots and street parking but could depend on the day you visit.

The smash burgers are substantially sized and come with great sauces. The roasted garlic was my favorite. You can sit right in front of the grill and watch everything being made as it is an open kitchen. Everyone is very friendly and the food comes out quick.

BMC Smash Burgers is right along N Dixie Highway and THE spot to get a smash burger in Oakland Park! I was recommended this spot and it was the best treat myself meal I've had in awhile. Smash burgers are one of my fav categories of burgers and these were finger licking good. They are pretty heavy and on the greasy side, but that's what made it so good. I ended up getting the BMC Smash single burger and ordered a side of their tater tots. My boyfriend got the Spicy Smash burger double patty and it was a lot! We got the spicy BMC sauce with the tater tots and everything was so gooooood. It really hit the spot and the tater tots were tossed in some seasoning that really complimented the burger. Of course, we had to get it with a Mexican coke and it really completed the meal. The service was friendly and fast. The inside is pretty small but has a good amount of seating, both at tables and barstools and even outdoor seating. A great place for a smash burger!

Service- 10/10 Food-10/10 My family and I were in the mood to have burgers. We stumbled upon this restaurant and let me tell you, we are so happy we did. First, when we walked in, we were immediately greeted and welcomed, I loved that. The young lady taking our orders, gave us some information on how the burgers are made..My family and I ordered the same exact meal. Here's the best part, the fries are fried in Tallow, Let's Goooooo!!!!! Super excited!! We personally cook using Tallow, so this was great! For drinks, we opted for sodas and my husband had a beer. They had a good selection of drinks and beer.. we placed our orders and our food came out in no time.. Great temperature, great presentation and the flavor was definitely there. The fries were crispy and tasted so good.. My family and I decided to sit outside and enjoy our meal.. the weather was perfect and with a nice breeze! Will I be back? absolutely and.... I'm bringing friends!!!!

Oakland Park is trying to break into the restaurant scene and BMC Smash Burgers is a great example. Originally from a food truck it now has a home. What surprised me was how juicy the "smashed" burger was. BMC has several burger varieties to choose from. The buns were also very soft and fresh. The staff were hugely enthusiastic about their restaurant which is a good sign. The restaurant has some cool murals for decor and a hip vibe. It's worth a stop.

The space gives cool dark dive bar vibes. The cooks are fast and efficient and friendly with customers. The food most importantly is emphatically delicious and we can't believe it's taken us so long to find this spot. In the rotation!

Finger licking good clearly from the photos shared. We were in the mood for a smashed burger and heard nothing but good things about BMC Smash Burgers. The person taking our order was very patient and made recommendations to help make the process a little easier for us. It wasn't a complicated process (I'm just an over thinker when it comes to burgers). It was truly worth all the hype that it's receiving. Onion overload aside (my daughter didn't even mind the onions) the burgers were delicious. The tater toots were amazing and thankfully not greasy at all. We will definitely be back to try out the other burgers on the menu.

The food was AMAZING. It was honestly one of the best smash burgers I ever had and that wagyu dog was superb. The fries are freaking excellent and don't get me started on the saus which I had curry ketchup and garlic (something I forget ) just wow. The only issue I had is the lady at the cashier either wasn't completely familiar with the menu or didn't have the attitude to deal with my questions because think about it. If I asked for light or no onions but then ask what don't suggest as a topping and you recommend onions are you really paying attention to the customer?

This place is a great addition to the local food scene! I love smash burgers, and this is one of the better that I've had here in south Florida. There's not a ton of parking, but we got lucky and got the last spot! When we walked in, there was almost a line out the door, but they got through the line quickly since the menu isn't huge. We ended up getting double smash burgers, the hot dog, and fries. Definitely get the garlic sauce with the fries- it was to die for! The burgers themselves are delicious. No real feedback, other than I would've liked a little more cheese- but I believe that's an easy add that I'll order next time around. Can't wait to go back!

Some of my favorite places to eat are restaurants that transitioned from food trucks as is the case with BMC Smash Burgers. BMC Smash Burgers began in 2021 as a popular food truck, Eat BMC operated by Jason "Jay Rok" Smith. In August of this year the brick-and-mortar location of BMC Smashburger opened on Dixie Highway in Oakland Park. Smith has taken smash burgers, thin beef patties cooked on a super-hot griddle to a new level of deliciousness. The burger is pressed with a spatula, to increase browning and crispy edges for maximum flavor. The smash burger technique is said to have been popularized by the Smashburger chain founded in Denver in 2007. I finally got the chance to try BMC Smash Burgers after visiting the Small Biz Saturday Local Makers Market that was being held across the tracks. Parking for the restaurant is limited but I found a strip of free spaces across the street. The inside is no frills with a few tables and two more out front. You order at the counter and they brought my food out to me when it was ready. While I waited for my meal I was able to watch cooking in the open kitchen. The menu features the smash burgers that made them famous but it also has a patty melt, hot dogs, tots, and fries. Dessert is a fresh baked cookie. You can't go wrong with the BMC Smash, a house blend patty of chuck-brisket-short rib blend , grilled onions, American cheese, BMC sauce, and house pickles, or take it up a notch with a Spicy BMC Smash, which start with the classic BMC Smash Burger and adds pepper jack cheese and house-pickled jalapeños. I ordered the single BMC burger with fries and I was not disappointed. The flavor packed burger had crispy, lacy edges while still remaining juicy in the middle. The house made pickles are chef's kiss and the BMC signature sauce was the perfect topping for the burger while also making an excellent dipping sauce for the fries. It is easy to see why so many lists have named BMC smash burgers as the best in Broward.

This won't take long... best smash burger in town. Bar none. I don't think I need to say much else but I will. The food was simply amazing. Every part of the burger and patty melt was perfect. From the bun/bread to the sauce. The execution was perfect, the burger was well seasoned and the flavors were amazing. I would eat here every week if I could. Not to mention the people there were very nice and accommodating. This will absolutely be a regular spot for me. Also, the tater tots are amazing. Perfectly crisp exterior and soft interior. Paired with the sauce you just have a perfect meal. This place is a MUST TRY if you like burgers, and possibly even if you don't.. it might convert you. Thanks!

Everything was good, not many tables and parking is annoying. Scared to get towed so eating with stress is not fun.

We were crushed when the smashburger chain closed in South Florida. We were excited to see BMC smashburger open just a few weeks ago. I had a standard smashburger no pickles. And my husband had the spicy version. They were very good. Apparently I need to try the BMC standard version with the pickles. Apparently I will become a pickle convert. We will have to come back and test out the theory

Damn! This place is going to be a monster! I just had the Patty Melt! It was awesome! The meat was fresh and of great quality! The crew was really cool! Get your ass over here! This place will change your life!

As someone who is very picky with burgers, this burger was absolutely delicious. Even though I ordered delivery, it came in pristine condition. I got the double smash burger with the side of fries. That burger was scrumptious, the patties were perfect and the grilled onions inside the burger blended in with the cheese made for a perfect combo. I also really enjoyed the flavor and texture of the fries. So good!

If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would! Holy crap, those smash burgers were incredible. BMC serves the best smash burgers we have ever had. Their menu is simple and it's really all you need - four different burger/patty options, hot dogs, fries and tots. I opted for the single bmc smash and my boyfriend got the double. We both added bacon and then I went for tots and he got fries so we could try each. I definitely preferred the tots but he says the fries were better so you'll have to be the judge yourself on that one. The restaurant is tiny and the kitchen is open so be prepared to leave smelling like you were the one smashing burgers. What I appreciate just as much as the fact that the food was phenomenal was the service provided. The woman who took our order at the counter was friendly, funny and checked in on us many times while we were there to make sure we had everything we needed. Needless to say, we will most definitely be returning. If you find yourself in the Oakland Park area and have a craving for the best smash burger ever, stop by BMC.

Amazing, the best smash burger I've ever had, and I've I've made it a mission to try a bunch of different places out and it all comes back to here. I've been a fan since the food truck!

The service is great, there were a few people that were welcomed by their names because they're regulars which is awesome to see. The workers were so nice and welcoming which is something you won't get at a chain restaurant usually. It's a really nice sized space with plenty of seating indoors as well as outdoors. The food was AMAZING. the burgers were so great and filling and the sauces complimented the tots really well. Nestled in next to the Satellite Pinball Lounge is BMC Smash Burgers. I came in 5 minutes before their closing time which I realized as I walked in and saw only 3 other people eating and employees putting up chairs to get ready to close I felt horrible for putting in an order but every employee told me not to worry it's okay. I ordered a BMC smash burger and the patty melt with fries. They make everything right in front of you and everything looked amazing. I received the food and began to chow down so I wouldn't take too long eating so they could close up and not feel like I was keeping them late to which one of the employees noticed and told me it's not a problem at all you do not have to rush or hurry because we still have a ton to do to close which made me feel a little better. The patty melt was absolutely amazing as well as the smash burger the buns are a good size and thick so you don't have the soggy buns and the taste was amazing with the grilled onions and their BMC sauce. I usually have had to go to Miami to Ted's or Cowy for smash burgers since Broward never had many places for them but after having BMC I no longer have to make that drive for delicious burgers and the atmosphere of the actual location is great the music is good the employees are super nice and welcoming I recommend burger lovers to come check them out you won't be disappointed! BMC Smash Burger is fantastic! Believe the reviews. It's busy for a reason. The place is small with a bar and counter against the windows. It has a few tables and chairs. Parking is limited but you can park in Oakland City's lots across the street. It is clean and well maintained. They play many different types of music and have a tv. Prices are a bit high, but the quality and taste of the food more than make up for it. I recommend getting a double burger as they are thin. The BMC Burger was fantastic. The sauce makes the burger. I had the Spicy Smash. It was like sex for your mouth! Honestly it was one of the best burgers I've had. The fries are seasoned and you can pick your dipping sauce or eat them plain. The service was great. All members of the staff were friendly. Three employees checked in on us and were attentive.

I'm a huge fan of burgers and a recent lover of smash burgers specifically. This is exactly what I was craving on a Saturday night which led me to find BMC Smash Burgers. And what a find it was. BMC is a cool, not-too-big burger joint with friendly service and good vibes. The lady that rang us up was nice and was eager to give recommendations since it was our first time there. I got the K Dubs which is a mix of their two regular burgers. So it came with double Pattie's and homemade jalapeños. I also got the fries (they have tater tots too) and a Fanta. The burger was cooked perfectly and the jalapeños were fresh and had a great crunch to them. Fries were just as good. They offer a good variety of different sauces to try with the fries too, which is always fun. They also have a good amount of seating inside, and a nice high top area with bar stools. Overall, a really fantastic smash burger restaurant that I will definitely be returning to.

Ambiance is horrible - like being in a basement. Service is good. Food is ok. I don't recommend this place. Its a dark, ugly place with food that you can get anywhere. There's really nothing more to say.

Worth waiting in line for the doors to open!!! 4 times there this past winter & spring and have never been disappointed!! The soft warm bun holding the juicy burger with the slight crunchy edges and melted cheese for the creamy touch!! I need on right now! Love that there are tots and crinkle fries!! Great staff, always welcoming and funny!! Free parking in lot behind the building; even the spots facing the other building, street and public lot around the corner to the right. Loyalty program too

Hidden gem in Oakland Park. Incredible patty melt on rye, fries were good especially dipped in the fries sauce. Will need to come back and try the Smash burger. Got the wagyu dog as well which is good. Service was quick, music was good and everyone was super friendly. Definitely recommend trying if you want a great smash burger or patty melt in Fort Lauderdale.

The food is good, the staff was very friendly, the ambience there's not much it's just a burger place. The reason I will not return is because to get 6 ounces of meat for a hamburger and an order of tater tots is $18. My wife and I getting two doubles two tots and two drinks it was $54. Then when I got home, I saw that there is a BMC charge of $3.22 added to your check . That actually makes double hamburger and tots almost $20 a person. Not acceptable for the food they serve.. I know it's not cheap to run a restaurant, but let's be honest. This is a small burger restaurant charging high-end prices. Very unacceptable.

Sooooo good! This was burger perfection. I absolutely love smash burgers and this one ranked as one of the best I've had. The owner told me they've been open only 2 weeks. I ordered a double smash but would also like to try their chili cheese dog and their patty melt. I will def be back.

If you seek genuine and excellent smash burgers look no further. What a find! Open only for three weeks this place should stand the test of time. Noting that they're open from 4 - 10, I just happened to be near enough shortly after 4. Having read the Yelp reviews I was stoked to try it. Upon entering I was warmly greeted by Jay the owner. I ordered a single smash and Jay explained that since the patties are smashed pretty thin that a double might suit me better. I'll always take a chef's advice so a double it was! And tots. Well done and crunchy, made with care by Jay's young assistant. I chose curry ketchup for my tot sauce. Jay was right. That double smash burger was a beauty to behold. After savoring a few tots I proceeded. Crunchy outer ridge, juicy inside with cheese, onions, pickles and a tasty sauce on a potato bun. Jay informed me that his blend of meat was time tested. Just delicious! I usually take a go container when I dine out because well, I just don't eat big portions. But I prevailed to the exclusion of half of my tots. Get to BMC folks. Support this family owned business in an up and coming neighborhood. Btw, the place is clean and funky. Old school rock n roll (I heard Blue Oyster Cult!) playing and retro arcade games available to play.

The food there is gross and soggy recommend that you pass The food truck store and shake shack are much better quality good and a lower value Expect this location to be out of business soon

WELCOME to the OP BMC!! We are delighted to have you. This food truck success has opened their brick and mortar and they've settled right downtown Oakland Park! This is what we love to see. Come on with it, and bring your TOTS!! (I'm sure kids are welcome, but I'm referring to the hot, salty, and crispy bites of heaven they serve right outta the fryer) We stopped in last night around 7 and ordered their BMC (double) and spicy BMC and TOTs. It became busy with a line almost to the door about 7:30. They have plenty of seating. The burgers were hot, juicy, cheesy, packed with fresh ingredients and squished between fresh buns. The tots, see above. Amazing. They are bagged (you can buy them at Publix) but they are fried to order. Just as they should be. Would love to see an onion ring option, in the future. They have a few minor kinks to work out but they have the top two priorities right. The people and the product are on point. The burger is solid. The customer service was stellar. Can't wait to see them prosper in Oakland Park.

I have literally never left a review on yelp before but every member of my family decided these were the best burgers we have ever had. We from Virginia and flew in a day early for a cruise. Saw the reviews and pictures and decided to try them out for dinner. They are amazing and the family running the place seem so kind. If you're in the area try them I am glad we did.

Asked for no cheese on burger. They gave me cheese. Brought back for order correction. They said I'd have to pay for another one. Will not be coming back. $8-9 for a beer can is crazy.

BMC smash burgers at3499 N Dixie highway in Oakland Park is a hidden gem! It was the best cheeseburger I've ever had! While menu is small, the flavor is off the charts. From the homemade pickles, grilled onions and two perfectly charred on the edge's flavorful patties - and BMC sauce, the whole experience was perfection. We had the tator tots for a side which the portions were huge so they could have been shared. The owners and staff were wonderful, and kept checking to see if we were enjoying everything. We'll definitely be back.

This is possibly the best smash burger joint in South Florida, if not, top three for sure! BMC started as a wildly successful food truck and just opened their first permanent location. This is a no frills burger joint; and frankly, who really wants the frills? This is an order at the counter, grab a table, and wait for your food kind of place. I eat fancy food and fine dining pretty regularly, but let's be honest, no one actually wants a $200 wagyu burger topped with foie gras, caviar, truffles, and gold leaf. Give me a delicious burger that I can casually grab for a quick lunch or dinner and not break the bank, any day. Mind, these are not cheap burgers at roughly $10-$15 a piece, but they are a great price point in this economy and offer real value for the money. Actually, I was a little surprised that this place didn't have a line out the door and around the building. They just opened a couple months ago, so maybe that'll change? I purchased a BMC Smash, a Spicy Smash, and a K Dubs. Each was exactly what you want in a smash burger; onions smashed into the patties while they cook on a flat top until they develop a phenomenally crispy edge. I also got some tots with curry ketchup and I'd recommend those to any tot lover. My personal favorite was Spicy, but they were all very good and were perfect after having an active day and a calorie deficit. I wish I had some photos, but we inhaled our food. I'd also be remiss if I didn't mention the friendly staff. My wife and I were greeted with a smile, offered napkins when they saw we might need more, and our trays were removed promptly after we had finished. Note to owner - keep it up! You might consider a second location in Dania Point, Beach Place, or Sawgrass Mills. Cheers!

BMC just gets it right ! Burgers are perfect! Thin, juicy, crispy and lacy about a three ounce patty each. It's great that the burgers are not greasy and you can walk and not roll out after. Definitely not a gut bomb. Service is no nonsense, order at the counter and just pull up a seat and enjoy. Staff is so genuine and kind. Ambiance is laid back. What more can you say. Grab a glass bottle coke or a Pabst to wash down their great fries with homemade sauces. Love this place.

Best smash burger I've had in south Florida! Burger was thin and well done with crispy edges, just like a smash burger should be. You can order double or single. I'd prob try fries next time or skip tots. Tots were just ok. Cooked fresh to order, which took a bit longer than expected.
