Great food in a very nice location. Delicious burgers and great fries. Honestly, the patty was smashed very hard, so it was very very thin. So the taste of the meat was not so present as expected. If you want more meat taste, take the double ... Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was very clean and organised. Will come back for sure.

My boyfriend and I went here for burgers, it was our first time at BMC smash burgers. I’ll just say that it exceeded my expectations, I will absolutely be revisiting this spot. 5 stars, and hats off to the owner and his staff. The gentlemen working (as well as one pretty pink haired lady) did an outstanding job.

OMG this patty was ridiculous, can't say I've ever had one so good. The perfect balance of patty to onion to rye and then just the right amount of sauce. This is the go-to for sure. We also had the specialty smash burger with fries. It was quite delicious but not what I would be going back for. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, it felt like they genuinely wanted us there. They gave their best recommendations and really hooked it up. Must go!!!

My fiancée and I were in the area looking for a quick bite and came across this place. We popped in and ordered the K-dub, the BMC smash double, and tater tots. Everything was delicious. The staff was super friendly. We will definitely be back. Also they introduced me to my new favorite coconut water - Coco Love. Wish I took pictures but we were hungry and the food looked too good to hold off to take any.

Atmosphere is cool, but they also share a building with another business. Nothing bad about that, just letting you know if you want a straw they just say “go over there”. Food is atrocious. I wanted a nice burger and some fries on Saturday. Ergo, I saw this place had 4.8 stars and the pics looked good. Quality American smash burger (allegedly). Fried egg was not over easy like every restaurant makes it they scrambled it. My fault for not asking I guess. $3 for an egg and another $3 or $4 for 1 small strip of bacon which was basically hidden under my cheese. The onions were disgusting. I’m not sure what happened or how they could mess it up but it was like pulling string cheese out of my burger with every bite. Everything seemed extremely flavorless. When I finished my burger I felt slightly sick and as if I had not eaten anything while simultaneously feeling disgustingly full. The French fries were alright and the tater tots were actually pretty good. However, when I saw they just bake premade tots and fries from the grocery store I was once again disappointed. The burger itself: the meat had no taste. It was thin and so cooked I was basically tasting the charred grill. The worst part may have been the bread because it tasted like something that was manufactured in a plastic factory. The bacon was not good, overly cooked. The pickles were not fresh. Egg once again nowhere to be tasted. The onions ruined the show. Mexican coke was $5. Overall I paid $55+ for 2 burgers (one with tots one with fries), and a Mexican cola and a crush soda.

Wow! The food is very good! Best burger I’ve had in a while. We visited randomly and we were not disappointed. The owner and staff chatted with us during our entire stay. I would come back here in a heartbeat when I visit again! I got the spicy smash burger and it was really good. Seasoned well & the spicy sauce was delicious and one of a kind. So, there I was, in the Congo!!! And up pops a BMC Smash Burger joint! Dare I venture out! First and foremost Props and huge Shoutout to the counter Princess "J"; Just "J" folks, just "J". She is Very charming, hospitable and above all else was Gracious with me. She was nowhere near ever annoyed with all this lonely widowed Old Man's questions and conversation, seeing it was my first time there. I certainly appreciated the scattered conversation we engaged in btween other customers and her chores. Little did she know I was riding out the past two days of loneliness of what would have been my 43rd wedding anniversary. RIP Rose. Anyway, 8:30 at night, I called my daughter and asked if she was hungry. I let her know I was going to try a place I had wanted to get to for a while but forgot about them until it popped up with Free ChatGPT at the top of its list. 1 cheese Smashburger w/bacon and pickles. 1 cheese double Smashburger grilled onions and jalapeños 1 cheese, double smash burger w/bacon grilled onions and jalapeños. I added the jalapeños when I got home. 2 orders of tater-tots which came with two dipping sauces: BMC special sauce and Roasted Garlic sauce. There are other choices as well. The burgers were delicious! However, because of personal taste next time I'm gonna have them grille the onions longer. The tater-tots were awesome. Cooked extra crispy the way we like them. And the two dipping sauces were delicious also. Personal tastes, the garlic sauce was our favorite btween the two! Two thumbs up from me and my daughter! :) While waiting for my order customers came in and picked up their orders, which they obviously ordered over the phone or online. It was quick, they were in'n out. (no pun). Princess "J" was on top of her game. A young couple (obviously on a date v3) came back inside from sitting outside at an umbrella table, with their tray of trash and I asked was it worth the drive? Both smiled and said it was delicious and well worth stopping in. There you have it folks! My review! My only letdown there was that there was No Senior Discount. :/ Parking in the rear which also allowed you to walk through the back door, nice touch. :) For me, the ambience was a bit nostalgic because of the stools and counter. Reminded me of a much smaller burger joint when I was a kid actually it was more of a candy store, that served hotdogs, hamburgers, snow cones, chocolate egg-creams and fountain sodas. Another plus, was having an ice cream milkshake twin business. Meaning when you walked in the front door of the burger joint the same owner opened the milkshake shop next to it to which you didn't have to walk back outside to get to it. Also plenty of umbrella tables and chairs outside.

If you have a burger craving, BMC is the way to go. They have fresh cooked on the spot juicy thin smash burgers. Very very tasty and their fries and tater tots are really good too. It's very small inside and you could wait awhile if it's busy. Made to order burgers and smashed to perfection. The staff workers work really hard to accommodate all of their customers. I will definitely be back to support this local business.

Best Smash Burger and tots. I have tried others, but nothing beats BMC. Whether you get one from his food truck at an event, or his restaurant in OP, you are going to be satisfied and satiated. I udually get the single, but they offer a double as well. They offer fries or tots, a nice selection of sodas or beer. The staff is friendly and there's definitely a neighborhood vibe. Highly recommend!

Had a serious smash burger craving and Google led me straight to this little hidden gem! This neighborhood treasure proves that when a place only has a handful of menu items, they're gonna nail every single one. Got the single patty spicy BMC - definitely spicy and flavorful, though I'm totally going double next time! Paired it with a Mexican Coke for the perfect combo. What made it special? Super friendly staff and that cool bar setup where you can watch them cook right behind the counter. Simple, juicy, quick - exactly what I was craving! 4 stars because I'm tough to impress (food capital of the world, you know? ), but this place totally won me over. Left full, satisfied, and already planning my return!

Let's talk about it. I saw this place on Instagram and it caught my attention. When I pulled up, I was confused and didn't really know where to park. The place itself was pretty small, but since it was lunchtime, I managed to park illegally and walked over to get this smashburger. I ordered the original with double patties -- of course. First bite? Oh my God, it was amazing. Crispy edges, great flavor in the patties. But then my second bite was a little controversial. I really enjoyed the sauce, but the onions just took over. I think this burger could've been a lot better if it had diced onions instead. Every bite was just a mouthful of onions, and it really didn't do it for me. It took away from the burger. The last bite was also incredible -- matched the first. But everything in the middle just didn't live up to the expectations I had for this smashburger. Overall, I'd say 6.9 out of 10. Customer service was great, everyone was nice, and the burger came out super quick.

Amazing spot. The staff is always incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food is on another level. The burgers are so damn good perfectly smashed, juicy, and packed with flavor. The tots are crispy and cooked perfectly every time. The place is small inside but has a couple of outdoor spots, which is a nice touch. Easily one of my favorite burger spots around. Really wish they'd open a location in Boynton beach it would crush it over here. Highly recommend

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. First off, I am not a burger/hotdog super fan so in order for me to say this is good, it must be good. I actually did not have a burger, I had a hotdog, the sourkraut one to be exact. It was amazing, it has a mustard sauce on it that was so tasty, the flavors were crazy, this was not a flimsy hot dog. Also, who knew tator tots could be this good? Whatever seasoning he put in them was so full of flavor! Had a craft beer to go with it of course. They have a free arcade game inside, a tables and awesome staff in a fun atmosphere! Parking is limited. Few parking spots and street parking but could depend on the day you visit.

BMC Smash Burgers is right along N Dixie Highway and THE spot to get a smash burger in Oakland Park! I was recommended this spot and it was the best treat myself meal I've had in awhile. Smash burgers are one of my fav categories of burgers and these were finger licking good. They are pretty heavy and on the greasy side, but that's what made it so good. I ended up getting the BMC Smash single burger and ordered a side of their tater tots. My boyfriend got the Spicy Smash burger double patty and it was a lot! We got the spicy BMC sauce with the tater tots and everything was so gooooood. It really hit the spot and the tater tots were tossed in some seasoning that really complimented the burger. Of course, we had to get it with a Mexican coke and it really completed the meal. The service was friendly and fast. The inside is pretty small but has a good amount of seating, both at tables and barstools and even outdoor seating. A great place for a smash burger!

4 star rating only because I didn't get fries or anything. I've been trying to get around to this place and was very happy with my food. The burger is smashing with flavor!!! LOL loved the cheese and the bmc sauce. The ambiance gives like 90s vibe, great for people who drink beer a few seats inside and out. I was greeted, helped with the menu and also offered very detailed takes on the sauces they offer. My burger only looks small because it's a single, but i was surely satisfied!!!

Service- 10/10 Food-10/10 My family and I were in the mood to have burgers. We stumbled upon this restaurant and let me tell you, we are so happy we did. First, when we walked in, we were immediately greeted and welcomed, I loved that. The young lady taking our orders, gave us some information on how the burgers are made..My family and I ordered the same exact meal. Here's the best part, the fries are fried in Tallow, Let's Goooooo!!!!! Super excited!! We personally cook using Tallow, so this was great! For drinks, we opted for sodas and my husband had a beer. They had a good selection of drinks and beer.. we placed our orders and our food came out in no time.. Great temperature, great presentation and the flavor was definitely there. The fries were crispy and tasted so good.. My family and I decided to sit outside and enjoy our meal.. the weather was perfect and with a nice breeze! Will I be back? absolutely and.... I can't say enough, how much I love this place. The decor and the staff are awesome and inviting. The food is beyond compare. Their smash burger is BY FAR my favorite smash burger ever. Their house made pickle? AMAZING. Their house made sauces? DELICIOUS. Fries and tots? ALWAYS CRISPY AND PERFECT. The hot dogs? GLIZZTASTIC. On to the smash burger... texture is somehow crispy and juicy. The cheese melts perfectly. The grilled onions smashed into the meat creates something so heavenly, you may think that Jay is pastor at the church of yum. Dammit, the only problem with writing this review is the fact that I can't get all of this that I'm typing about. And now they have the creamery next door.

Finger licking good clearly from the photos shared. We were in the mood for a smashed burger and heard nothing but good things about BMC Smash Burgers. The person taking our order was very patient and made recommendations to help make the process a little easier for us. It wasn't a complicated process (I'm just an over thinker when it comes to burgers). It was truly worth all the hype that it's receiving. Onion overload aside (my daughter didn't even mind the onions) the burgers were delicious. The tater toots were amazing and thankfully not greasy at all. We will definitely be back to try out the other burgers on the menu.

Since moving to South Florida, I've been on a mission to find a great smash burger spot, and this is definitely it. The menu keeps it classic and simple, focusing on the quality of the burgers and hotdogs. If you like crispy edges and great sauces, this place is a must! This place is a great addition to the local food scene! I love smash burgers, and this is one of the better that I've had here in south Florida. There's not a ton of parking, but we got lucky and got the last spot! When we walked in, there was almost a line out the door, but they got through the line quickly since the menu isn't huge. We ended up getting double smash burgers, the hot dog, and fries. Definitely get the garlic sauce with the fries- it was to die for! The burgers themselves are delicious. No real feedback, other than I would've liked a little more cheese- but I believe that's an easy add that I'll order next time around. Can't wait to go back!

Some of my favorite places to eat are restaurants that transitioned from food trucks as is the case with BMC Smash Burgers. BMC Smash Burgers began in 2021 as a popular food truck, Eat BMC operated by Jason "Jay Rok" Smith. In August of this year the brick-and-mortar location of BMC Smashburger opened on Dixie Highway in Oakland Park. Smith has taken smash burgers, thin beef patties cooked on a super-hot griddle to a new level of deliciousness. The burger is pressed with a spatula, to increase browning and crispy edges for maximum flavor. The smash burger technique is said to have been popularized by the Smashburger chain founded in Denver in 2007. I finally got the chance to try BMC Smash Burgers after visiting the Small Biz Saturday Local Makers Market that was being held across the tracks. Parking for the restaurant is limited but I found a strip of free spaces across the street. The inside is no frills with a few tables and two more out front. You order at the counter and they brought my food out to me when it was ready. While I waited for my meal I was able to watch cooking in the open kitchen. The menu features the smash burgers that made them famous but it also has a patty melt, hot dogs, tots, and fries. Dessert is a fresh baked cookie. You can't go wrong with the BMC Smash, a house blend patty of chuck-brisket-short rib blend , grilled onions, American cheese, BMC sauce, and house pickles, or take it up a notch with a Spicy BMC Smash, which start with the classic BMC Smash Burger and adds pepper jack cheese and house-pickled jalapeños. I ordered the single BMC burger with fries and I was not disappointed. The flavor packed burger had crispy, lacy edges while still remaining juicy in the middle. The house made pickles are chef's kiss and the BMC signature sauce was the perfect topping for the burger while also making an excellent dipping sauce for the fries. It is easy to see why so many lists have named BMC smash burgers as the best in Broward.

If you like smash burgers this is absolutely the spot for you in Fort Lauderdale. This spot is on our top 5 in south Florida for sure!

Oakland Park is trying to break into the restaurant scene and BMC Smash Burgers is a great example. Originally from a food truck it now has a home. What surprised me was how juicy the "smashed" burger was. BMC has several burger varieties to choose from. The buns were also very soft and fresh. The staff were hugely enthusiastic about their restaurant which is a good sign. The restaurant has some cool murals for decor and a hip vibe. It's worth a stop.

The smash burgers are substantially sized and come with great sauces. The roasted garlic was my favorite. You can sit right in front of the grill and watch everything being made as it is an open kitchen. Everyone is very friendly and the food comes out quick.

We were crushed when the smashburger chain closed in South Florida. We were excited to see BMC smashburger open just a few weeks ago. I had a standard smashburger no pickles. And my husband had the spicy version. They were very good. Apparently I need to try the BMC standard version with the pickles. Apparently I will become a pickle convert. We will have to come back and test out the theory

The food was AMAZING. It was honestly one of the best smash burgers I ever had and that wagyu dog was superb. The fries are freaking excellent and don't get me started on the saus which I had curry ketchup and garlic (something I forget ) just wow. The only issue I had is the lady at the cashier either wasn't completely familiar with the menu or didn't have the attitude to deal with my questions because think about it. If I asked for light or no onions but then ask what don't suggest as a topping and you recommend onions are you really paying attention to the customer?

Been here 3 or 4 times and each time was great. The bar by which we measure is obviously the burger and it was fantastic!! I love searching and finding great burgers, these guys are the best that I have had the pleasure to taste thus far with a very respectable second place to Skinny Louie's

This won't take long... best smash burger in town. Bar none. I don't think I need to say much else but I will. The food was simply amazing. Every part of the burger and patty melt was perfect. From the bun/bread to the sauce. The execution was perfect, the burger was well seasoned and the flavors were amazing. I would eat here every week if I could. Not to mention the people there were very nice and accommodating. This will absolutely be a regular spot for me. Also, the tater tots are amazing. Perfectly crisp exterior and soft interior. Paired with the sauce you just have a perfect meal. This place is a MUST TRY if you like burgers, and possibly even if you don't.. it might convert you. Thanks!

If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would! Holy crap, those smash burgers were incredible. BMC serves the best smash burgers we have ever had. Their menu is simple and it's really all you need - four different burger/patty options, hot dogs, fries and tots. I opted for the single bmc smash and my boyfriend got the double. We both added bacon and then I went for tots and he got fries so we could try each. I definitely preferred the tots but he says the fries were better so you'll have to be the judge yourself on that one. The restaurant is tiny and the kitchen is open so be prepared to leave smelling like you were the one smashing burgers. What I appreciate just as much as the fact that the food was phenomenal was the service provided. The woman who took our order at the counter was friendly, funny and checked in on us many times while we were there to make sure we had everything we needed. Needless to say, we will most definitely be returning. If you find yourself in the Oakland Park area and have a craving for the best smash burger ever, stop by BMC.

The service is great, there were a few people that were welcomed by their names because they're regulars which is awesome to see. The workers were so nice and welcoming which is something you won't get at a chain restaurant usually. It's a really nice sized space with plenty of seating indoors as well as outdoors. The food was AMAZING. the burgers were so great and filling and the sauces complimented the tots really well. BMC Smash Burger is fantastic! Believe the reviews. It's busy for a reason. The place is small with a bar and counter against the windows. It has a few tables and chairs. Parking is limited but you can park in Oakland City's lots across the street. It is clean and well maintained. They play many different types of music and have a tv. Prices are a bit high, but the quality and taste of the food more than make up for it. I recommend getting a double burger as they are thin. The BMC Burger was fantastic. The sauce makes the burger. I had the Spicy Smash. It was like sex for your mouth! Honestly it was one of the best burgers I've had. The fries are seasoned and you can pick your dipping sauce or eat them plain. The service was great. All members of the staff were friendly. Three employees checked in on us and were attentive.

The space gives cool dark dive bar vibes. The cooks are fast and efficient and friendly with customers. The food most importantly is emphatically delicious and we can't believe it's taken us so long to find this spot. In the rotation!

i'm going to start with a very unpopular opinion that you won't hear many people admit or say especially customers.... the food is to good to be this cheap! the quality was amazing . was our first time here we walked in 11 of us and everyone of us were happy with the service and food! i wouldn't steer you wrong come here and get full with tasty food! the people that work here are very personable as well and did i say how good the food is ?

Great Burger and cool staff ... the tots and sauces are a must. Fries are crisp and meat with the smashed grilled onions is perfect. Check it out , but closed on Tuesdays.

FYI... Anything that you scrape off of a flat top grill with an industrial grade scraper is no longer edible.

As someone who is very picky with burgers, this burger was absolutely delicious. Even though I ordered delivery, it came in pristine condition. I got the double smash burger with the side of fries. That burger was scrumptious, the patties were perfect and the grilled onions inside the burger blended in with the cheese made for a perfect combo. I also really enjoyed the flavor and texture of the fries. So good!

Hidden gem in Oakland Park. Incredible patty melt on rye, fries were good especially dipped in the fries sauce. Will need to come back and try the Smash burger. Got the wagyu dog as well which is good. Service was quick, music was good and everyone was super friendly. Definitely recommend trying if you want a great smash burger or patty melt in Fort Lauderdale.

The food is good, the staff was very friendly, the ambience there's not much it's just a burger place. The reason I will not return is because to get 6 ounces of meat for a hamburger and an order of tater tots is $18. My wife and I getting two doubles two tots and two drinks it was $54. Then when I got home, I saw that there is a BMC charge of $3.22 added to your check . That actually makes double hamburger and tots almost $20 a person. Not acceptable for the food they serve.. I know it's not cheap to run a restaurant, but let's be honest. This is a small burger restaurant charging high-end prices. Very unacceptable.

I'm a huge fan of burgers and a recent lover of smash burgers specifically. This is exactly what I was craving on a Saturday night which led me to find BMC Smash Burgers. And what a find it was. BMC is a cool, not-too-big burger joint with friendly service and good vibes. The lady that rang us up was nice and was eager to give recommendations since it was our first time there. I got the K Dubs which is a mix of their two regular burgers. So it came with double Pattie's and homemade jalapeños. I also got the fries (they have tater tots too) and a Fanta. The burger was cooked perfectly and the jalapeños were fresh and had a great crunch to them. Fries were just as good. They offer a good variety of different sauces to try with the fries too, which is always fun. They also have a good amount of seating inside, and a nice high top area with bar stools. Overall, a really fantastic smash burger restaurant that I will definitely be returning to.

I have literally never left a review on yelp before but every member of my family decided these were the best burgers we have ever had. We from Virginia and flew in a day early for a cruise. Saw the reviews and pictures and decided to try them out for dinner. They are amazing and the family running the place seem so kind. If you're in the area try them I am glad we did.

Noting that they're open from 4 - 10, I just happened to be near enough shortly after 4. Having read the Yelp reviews I was stoked to try it. Upon entering I was warmly greeted by Jay the owner. I ordered a single smash and Jay explained that since the patties are smashed pretty thin that a double might suit me better. I'll always take a chef's advice so a double it was! And tots. Well done and crunchy, made with care by Jay's young assistant. I chose curry ketchup for my tot sauce. Jay was right. That double smash burger was a beauty to behold. After savoring a few tots I proceeded. Crunchy outer ridge, juicy inside with cheese, onions, pickles and a tasty sauce on a potato bun. Jay informed me that his blend of meat was time tested. Just delicious! I usually take a go container when I dine out because well, I just don't eat big portions. But I prevailed to the exclusion of half of my tots. Get to BMC folks. Support this family owned business in an up and coming neighborhood. Btw, the place is clean and funky. Old school rock n roll (I heard Blue Oyster Cult!) playing and retro arcade games available to play.

My first time here! Boyfriend found it thru Yelp and it was delicious! The bun was nice and soft! Meat was crispy and the blend of melted cheese with their BMC sauce and pickles had a slight tart flavor that hit just right for me. Tots and chilli dog was . WELCOME to the OP BMC!! We are delighted to have you. This food truck success has opened their brick and mortar and they've settled right downtown Oakland Park! This is what we love to see. Come on with it, and bring your TOTS!! (I'm sure kids are welcome, but I'm referring to the hot, salty, and crispy bites of heaven they serve right outta the fryer) We stopped in last night around 7 and ordered their BMC (double) and spicy BMC and TOTs. It became busy with a line almost to the door about 7:30. They have plenty of seating. The burgers were hot, juicy, cheesy, packed with fresh ingredients and squished between fresh buns. The tots, see above. Amazing. They are bagged (you can buy them at Publix) but they are fried to order. Just as they should be. Would love to see an onion ring option, in the future. They have a few minor kinks to work out but they have the top two priorities right. The people and the product are on point. The burger is solid. The customer service was stellar. Can't wait to see them prosper in Oakland Park.
