Absolutely horrible experience at this branch/bank. To begin with the representative locked my profile (ability to get a credit card) only with her. Which was inconvenient. I requested a credit card over 32 days ago, and still have not received my card. To make matters worse, the card that is now in progress to be sent to my house is not the card I requested. When the calling the call centre, their response is, they cannot help as this matter needs to be dealt by the branch. BMO has poor integration between branch and corporate. The customer service is terrible and I will be terminating any financial relationship the next chance I get.

If I can rate it 0 this branch would definitely be it. Horrible customer service in the Safety Deposit Box Department. The 2 people working in the Unit never returns any of my emails and /or calls. No other BMO branch is like this one. Absolutely no service, worse experience ever.

Great service! In a world where this is often lacking, especially in a city like Toronto, this branch stood out in providing professional services. While waiting in line to inquire about bank drafts, someone came to greet me. I was immediately taken to another person who answered my questions. That day I needed a US money order. CIBC across the street made a huge mess of it with terrible customer service. RBC doesn't offer those for personal clients anymore. With the Bank of Montreal, I had accounts setup and a money order made within minutes. They even called me later to make sure things were going smoothly. They helped me out a lot. That's how you do business! Thank you!!

Absolute garbage. Terrible experience. I received a BMO cheque from a property developer. I wanted to cash it so I went to the Vaughan BMO branch to cash it. They wouldn't cash it and they told me to go downtown to the main branch to cash it. So I went downtown to the main branch to cash it. After waiting for an hour, they came back to me and said they will not cash it. They would not cash a cheque that was issued from their own customer when they could see their customers balance on their screen! I was forced to deposit this cheque into my account and then take the cash out. There was no problem with the cheque and it cleared through my account.

I'm updating my review from a 1 star to 5 stars and all because of Jamie Henry, the manager at this location. She made me feel heard and valued as a customer. She was responsive, kind and empathetic at a time when I was so incredibly frustrated. Thank you Jamie.

They have no idea about their own products! Their debit card cannot be used for monthly subscriptions or paying utility bills. They first changed my whole card then when that didn't work, they said OH BECAUSE YOU NEED TO PROVIDE YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER to vendors. That worked for my phone bill but of course I cannot pay for monthly subscriptions with my account number right, they use the card on file. I have been here 4 times already only to hear "tHeRe Is nOtHiNg WrOng wItH ThE CaRd". Of course, there is!!! So glad I still have my account open with my previous bank. I am probably going to close this useless account since neither this branch nor the number on the card can resolve this issue.

Wish i could give 0 stars. BMO has loaned 90$million to Elbit Systems - A company that makes weapons for Israeli Military which is committing war crimes and killing civilians. This bank is financing genocide and I am not going to be a part of it. Gladly walked into the branch, closed my account and took my money out.

Just a quick review how bad this bank is, I bought a stove burner from a store and 3 attempts of delivering the part, they couldn't get a part that wasn't broken into pieces or wrong part (I inspected parts at the counter before leaving the store). The store refused to refund money and send me on my way without refund. Opened dispute and months later BMO have not refunded my money and keep asking the same questions and same invoices approximately 5-6 times already and counting, contacted complaints department at BMO guy just transferred me back to Disputes department.... just the most disorganized bank I ever dealt with!!!
