I had a great experience during my recent bank appointment with Mel, the mortgage specialist. He was prompt, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our conversation. Mel took the time to listen to my needs, answered all my questions clearly, and made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. He’s friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend seeing Mel if you're looking for mortgage advice or support!

I had the greatest experience with Chenjia who helped advise me in personal banking and investing. I had never felt so educated and supported regarding my financials before. Chen is also a great conversationalist- highly recommend.

The new branch at the Eaton Centre is spacious and I appreciate the extended hours. The staff are also consistently helpful and kind! That said, greater clarification could've been provided regarding specifics on how the ATM lobby is open from 7 am - 11 pm, when the Eaton Centre is only open from 10 am - 9 pm. The branch is inside the Eaton Centre, with no means to access just the ATM without going inside the mall.

It is such a pleasure to bank with this branch. The senior branch manager, S Breen is so very helpful, patient, friendly and extremely efficient!!! My calls and emails are always answered in a very timely fashion. I have been a customer since the early 1980’s.

This branch seems to have prioritized grandeur over function and has resulted in a space without any real pizazz. The space is moderately pretty but has a massive amount of wasted space. Really no need for it to be as big as it is. Most offices and the lobby boardroom, sit empty. Idea for BMO: why not use the extra space as a fabulous place for free financial literacy workshops, lessons in avoiding credit card debt, and more! Would be amazing for high school students! And would set BMO apart as Canada’s most responsible bank. Also: the space feels stale like a hospital. How about breathing some life into it by challenging students at the Toronto Metropolitan University across the street to craft amazing artwork that you can display in the space? Wouldn’t it be cool if BMO became the bank known for thinking outside the box in a country where banks are blah and outdated? After all, Montreal is without a doubt Canada’s most creative city and has a vibrant arts scene - what a great homage that would be! There was clearly lots of money spent on the window graphics that change outdoors while looking like windows from indoors. Right now, you only use it for ads - what a shame. It has so much potential. What a great place to showcase creativity once again - you could highlight small businesses and show off what they make. A great way to give back and show that BMO cares. Or, you could show a film on it in partnership with a great local film festival. A movie on the wall of a bank. That would be epic! Definitely lots of room for improvement and I look forward to BMO implementing some exciting changes to set it apart from the status quo! You can do this BMO - I believe in you.

Never ever visit this branch. I’ve been waiting 1.5 hours . How come only 1 teller they have??? It’s totally ridiculous. Branch manager, you better quit your job due to improper management at this branch.

I had a great experience working with Tirth Raval at BMO Eaton Center branch for my investments. Tirth had a great knowledge in investments and had explained me clearly about all my questions in investments that would benefit me in all ways. Not just with investments, Tirth also made my lending process as well very smooth with constant follow up and updates. Overall had a great experience and highly recommend if you are looking for someone who actually listens and knows their stuff.

Yelp
I am a huge fan of BMO and their stellar customer service. When I moved to Canada from the states, I quickly sifted through TD, RBC, and CIBC, giving each a chance to keep my business but finding their customer service appalling in every case. In the case of BMO, NOT ONE terrible service experience in the first 10 years, in branch or through telephone services. I kid you not. I don't even know how it can be as I am so particular about customer service (in true yelper fashion). So I thought I'd pay homage to one of my favourite BMO branches I've visited. Check out BMO @ 2QE for the following reasons: 1. Location- Right at yonge and queen, so accessible indoors through Queen station 2. Friendliness- A BMO staple but always notable at this branch. I've seen this BMO staff smile at the surliest customers. 3. Cooperation- The managers lend a hand to tellers when it gets busy and this makes customers feel they are a priority. 4. Resolution- If you ever have an issue, you can rest assured that problem resolution and customer satisfaction is important to BMO, including at this branch. I RECOMMEND: Seeing a manager if you have any particular banking needs that need a manager's touch. Maria is a gem. EXTRA TIP: There are 5 ATMs (two outside and three indoors at the top of the Queen) so don't get in line if your transaction can be done at a machine.

Yelp
Friendly service every time I'd go here when I used to live nearby. Surprises like not paying for things when I had to was always lovely. Good looking smiling faces all around. Much better than the nearby Scotia. Sometimes the lines were a bit long but it's at Yonge and Queen so it makes sense.
