Dear BNK Restau Management,
I am writing to express my outrage and utter disappointment regarding the appalling experience my group endured at your restaurant on August 3 around 5:30 PM. What was supposed to be a simple dinner turned into a series of frustrating, disrespectful, and frankly disturbing events.
Rude Staff Behavior From the start, Crew #1 Angelica was extremely rude. When one of my companions was simply clarifying our order, she snapped in a harsh tone: “Huwag na ulitin ang nasabi na, nakalista na.” This kind of attitude is unacceptable and unprofessional.
Unexplained Delays We waited 40 minutes for our food before following up. Only then did Crew #2 inform us that the bangus dish takes one hour to prepare — something that should have been disclosed when we ordered. When we asked how much longer we’d have to wait, we were casually told “20 minutes na lang po.” This lack of transparency and disregard for our time was infuriating.
Service Water Delay Even a simple request for service water took 15 minutes to fulfill. This is basic hospitality, and the delay was just another sign of poor service.
Cold Food & Unsafe Serving Three of us ordered sizzling plates, and shockingly, the dishes were so hot we couldn’t even touch them — yet the food itself was ice cold. One dish was a Hungarian sausage that looked like it was just thrown on top, without any gravy, which we know should be included based on our previous visits (we’ve dined here more than three times). Even the pares was served cold. This is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about food safety and preparation standards.
Unli Rice Delay Some of us ordered unli rice, but had to wait over 5 minutes just to request a refill. Again, this shows a lack of attentiveness and efficiency.
Bangus Order Mishandled The person who ordered the bangus was the only one still waiting after more than an hour. Then Crew #3 approached and asked if they could change the order — at that point, we demanded to speak with a manager. It was outrageous to wait that long only to be asked to switch dishes.
No Manager Available To our disbelief, no manager was on duty. Only a supervisor spoke with us, which was deeply disappointing given the severity of the situation.
Health Hazard – Cockroach in Water Bottle And finally — the most horrifying part of our visit. When we opened a bottled water, a live cockroach crawled out from under the lid. Yes, a live insect. This is not just disgusting — it’s a serious health violation. We have photo evidence of this incident. It was the final straw in an already disastrous experience.
This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. The combination of rude staff, cold food, long delays, poor communication, and a literal cockroach in our drink is beyond unacceptable.
We demand a formal apology and a full investigation into this incident. Your staff needs retraining, your kitchen needs inspection, and your management needs to take accountability. We trusted your establishment based on past visits — but after this, we are seriously reconsidering ever returning.
