The 15 Best Breakfast Spots In Madrid - Madrid - The Infatuation

"Toast is a big breakfast food in Spain, and Bô Coffee makes some of the best. While the breakfast offering ranges from all the most obvious first-meal-of-the-day foods, from scrambled eggs to acai, you should dive into their star toast: an entire perfectly ripe avocado, topped with DOP feta and red pepper flakes, and an optional poached egg and salmon. This place, which is always packed with a varied mix of students, neighborhood residents, and businesspeople, also pumps out cookies that are a must-order. The Nutella option oozes warm, chocolatey cream when you bite into the crunchy, almost salty, cookie shell. Come on weekdays or arrive early on weekends to beat the crowds. The best seats are the outdoor tables since the inside can feel like it lacks elbow room." - lori zaino

The breakfast experience here was truly outstanding and, without exaggeration, the best place we visited in Madrid. The coffee was exceptional, clearly high quality and perfectly prepared, the kind you genuinely remember. The dishes were made with excellent ingredients, fresh and carefully chosen, with clean, well-balanced flavors that showed real attention to quality. The space itself was warm and welcoming, ideal for a relaxed breakfast, but what truly elevated the experience was the service. The waitress from Venezuela, with flawless English — something quite rare in Madrid — was exceptional. She was friendly, professional, and guided us confidently toward the best choices, making us feel genuinely welcome and well taken care of. Overall, this is a place that gets everything right: food, coffee, atmosphere, and people. It stands out not just as a great breakfast spot, but as one of the most memorable experiences of our time in Madrid.

Absolutely fantastic experience. The food was outstanding — everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully prepared. We had the croque madame, avocado toast, shakshuka eggs, and pancakes, and every single dish was a hit. The fresh juices and specialty coffee were excellent and really completed the meal. What made it even more special is that we found out it’s family-owned, and both owners personally served us. They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive, which made the whole experience feel even more memorable. One of the best brunch spots we’ve tried in Madrid. Totally recommend — we’ll definitely be back!

All about this place is amazing!! We came for brunch and since the minute we walked in, the whole team was very friendly and helpful. You don’t need a reservation to get a table, and fortunately we got lucky that they had one available for me and my friends. We ordered the BLT sandwich, the shakshuka, the chilaquiles and a French toast for our meals, and everything came out great. The server was very helpful because she advised us about the time the sweets take to come out, so she said if we were thinking of ordering that, we should do it first and then the other dishes. So we did, and they waited for us to finish our savory course to place the sweet one we wanted as a dessert. Their coffee is also amazing. You have fresh juices and smoothies as well, and many options for your milk if that’s what you like. I highly recommend this place, it is truly amazing and one of the best spots for brunch I’ve tried in Madrid.

This place was on my must-do list in Madrid, mainly for the pancakes, and it was absolutely worth it. I honestly don’t know how the chef makes them they’re not like normal pancakes at all. They’re incredibly soft on the inside, super delicious, and truly unique. It’s definitely in my top 3 best pancakes I’ve had during all my travels around Europe. A special shout-out to the waitress, who was extremely kind and cute 🫶🏻which made the experience even better.l

Very friendly staff , with fresh tasty food . The place is small but accommodating. The coffee is excellent , and the best dish I tastes was the pancake with chocolate . Banana peanut butter toast needs honey to sweeten. Egg dishes are seasoned well and sides like mushroom and tomatoes are slow cooked and savory . I wish they had English menu. The bathroom is equipped for handicapped persons and accommodations for women which is very kind .

Visited over the summer and found this gem. Visiting again for a month and I’ve made sure to come back here. Fresh & thoughtful curated dishes, friendly staff. Food is just yummy! I would say they make one of the best salads in Madrid.

The brunch in this place is incredible! I had the best espresso that I’ve drink in years! All the food is amazing, my son wanted to go have their pancakes every day in our trip. Rafael (the chief) is a great friend and a better cooker! Maricarmen and luisa hospitality was another level. We even bought their coffee to take it back home. We will miss this place so much, looking forward to coming back again sooner than later!

Great brunch spot and neighborhood in Madrid for variety! There was a line but the staff is very efficient and no one waited longer than 15-20 minutes maximum. My friend and I shared the Croissant eggs/bacon and the Nutella pancakes. The cafe con leche was exceptionally good, would come back in a heartbeat!
