ICED GREEN TEA = a bag of tea inside the glass with water and a big cube of ice??? 🤣😂 Restaurant was totally full of local people, it was the reason we went there. We like places which local people like. They have plenty kinds of meals. We had just beer 🍻 and iced green tea.

Why do restaurants/wait staff in this country expect you to order as soon as you sit down? Then they stand there staring at you as if you should already know what's on the menu! Then they give you a dirty/confused look when you ask for a beer and 5 minutes to decide on your meal... After all that, you don't get an entree, main, etc. It just comes out haphazardly, like here's a plate of greens... 5 minutes... meat dish... 15 mins... and once you've finished that, your rice comes out all on its lonesome! Honestly, it's not that hard... Terrible experience...

If you come with locals or know the language well enough to pass as one yourself it's a decent local beer garden you gather and have a good time drinking with a group of friends at. The food is secondary so don't go there expecting to get your moneys worth as a wide eyed bushy-tailed tourist. If you can get the local menu, great but get a hotpot and a case of beer to share and you'll have a good time regardless, just try to behave yourselves and don't be stingy!

This is a typical traditional Vietname restaurant with the low table and chairs, but it serves ice cold beer. I have not eaten here but it is always busy with locals. A good sign.

First of all this place has moved to the corner just down the street. Secondly they have 2 menus, so make sure you get hold of the local menu the prices are about 20000 less. I have been traveling nam for a little while now and I have found way better food in local smaller places. So my recommendation is to just find a little place with a old lady or man that running the place and you will get better food and price. If you traveling on a budget.
