Bò Né Thanh Tuyền

As a foreigner, I had no clue how to eat Bò Né, but watching the locals was an experience in itself. The way they dive into the sizzling beef, mixing the egg and pâté, and dunking everything into the rich sauce. It was a whole vibe. Once I figured it out, I got why this spot is so loved. The restaurant isn’t exactly pristine, though it’s a bit on the rustic side, with food and a casual vibe everywhere. But honestly, that’s part of the experience. It’s authentic, full of character, and gives you that true local feel.

I’m seriously on a roll right now I caught a Grab to this spot and wow, the bo ne was something special. I’ve got a big appetite, so naturally I had to go for seconds. The Vietnamese coffee was strong as hell and exactly what I needed to help everything digest, if you know, you know. Service was solid, and they had an English menu which made ordering super easy. I just pointed at what I wanted and got exactly that. Some of the staff spoke English, but honestly, it wasn’t even necessary. Now, before anyone gets picky this isn’t some fine dining spot. I judged the cleanliness based on the vibe and the overall experience. Sure, there were some crumbs and food scraps on the floor, but it didn’t take away from the fact that I had an absolutely fantastic time. One heads-up they cook the food right at the front of the store, so don’t wear your subday best unless you’re cool smelling like delicious BBQ for the rest of the day.

Was a great experience. Never had Bo ne before and thought we’d try this place that has been around for over 25 years. Was quite busy when we arrived at 9am. I think they close at 11am. The food wa me Out quick and was very tasty. The boss lady was yelling at all the staff and then would smile at her customers which was quite hilarious. The meals were reasonably priced and not too expensive. 84k for your most expensive dish and comes with free salad. I’d definitely come back to this place.

Saw this spot on reels and thought that looks good. Boy were we wrong, it’s not just good, it’s amazing 🤤. As the only 2 foreigners here, we had to watch how the locals did it and boy was it yummy. The only mistake we made was sprinkling the salt n pepper from the dish onto the dish but a local quickly showed us how it was done, squeeze the kumquat into bowl and dip like sauce.

Tasty, no-frills bò né breakfast spot! I came around 8 AM and was seated right away, but by the time I left, there was a line—so definitely try to come early. I ordered the beef, egg, and pa tê. They’re only open for breakfast and close at 11 AM. The bánh mì was fresh, and the bò né was flavorful and satisfying. A solid spot for a casual, delicious morning meal! Worth checking out.

Absolutely in love with this stall! Had the #5 beef + egg + pate. The aunty at the stall came forward to mix the sauce for us seeing that we were totally clueless what to do. The dish was AMAZING!!! Baguette was so soft and the dish was so flavourful!! I wish I had one more breakfast to come back for this! Definitely highly recommend!!!

Central location for decent Bo Ne. Quick service as expected. Do note that place is not the cleanest. Bo Ne was slightly tough but was packed full of flavours. Loved the sauce and runny egg. Banh Mi was not as fresh, slightly cold and stale. Overall would still recommend to satisfy your Bo Ne fix.

The Bo ne here is pretty good. I went early in the morning and the tables were full but wait time was quick. Even though staff was busy, they were quick with action. My friend got the dish with fish in it and I got the one without fish. It’s priced right too.
