Good for seafood dining and relaxing for.drinks near beach. Not the best for sunbathing swimming and relaxing..great in evening..lovely driving past

In November it's low season so it's a good time to take tours and travel around Koh Samui. The beaches are not crowded, actually I am practically alone when walking on the beach. The Thai people are friendy and smiling all the time and the food is delicious. I also recommend the one day "fun" tour, all inclusive (jeep, insurance. entrances, water, lunch, guide).

Bo Phut Beach is a charming location on Ko Samui. We only had a quick stopover but it was very nice with beautiful views of the coastline along with a good range of hotels, shops and other public amenities. Stop by and admire the views.

A nice beach, but very limited space for swimmers. There are to many JetSki that are crossing the swimming area. Tourist when returning the JetSki. Locals when picking up people by boat. All day long the motor noise.

One of the worst beaches on Koh Samui. Sand is made up of very fine stones. Apart from that it's dirty and the sea is all murky. The worst thing is that the establishments along the beach think they own the sand, so after you have settled down with your kids they come to push you away in order to set up their tables directly on the sand.

I read the recent reviews. You need to understand that weather and tides contribute hugely to a beach’s appearance. The last week has experienced continual high tides all around Thailand. Combine this with strong easterly winds off the Gulf and you will get limited sand for walking, big waves, dark coloured water and more rubbish washing up. This is all beaches. Now the wind has settled and the tides are a bit lower, some of the resorts and the local clean-up group have had a chance to make it look quite nice. You can certainly swim here but most people would be happy in their hotel pool. I’m very happy with our choice of area to stay here.

Go to the bitchenet to see the fire show. This is the north of the island and has lots of bars and restaurants like mango street, but it's it's much more chill.
