"This restaurant is remarkable both in terms of its location in an old carriage factory and its ongoing quest to delight diners with its flavoursome cuisine and enthusiasm. Beyond the attractive garden are two minimalist-style dining areas, one overlooking the kitchen (including a “chef’s table”) the other, which is cosier, laid out within the stone walls of what used to be the carpentry workshop. Here, chef Albert Sastregener offers two set menus (Degustación and Del Chef) plus a concise à la carte featuring dishes from the former. These abound with imaginative and technically sophisticated creations that are respectful of Catalan tradition without excluding international influences. As an example, one of his local “zero-km” growers (Hidenori Futami) supplies him with vegetables and shoots native to Japan. We particularly enjoyed Bo.TiC’s highly original, delicate and beautifully presented snacks on its menus, which are separated into different sections (Bar, Season, Roasts and Bakery)." - Michelin Inspector

A wonderful gem of a restaurant with amazing chef and service. The food is outstanding, combining both traditional catalan ingredients and typical local dishes with modern techniques creating small pieces of art by the hands of Albert and his team. Worth a trip just to eat here!

Really amazing food, presentation and service. We loved all of the mini starters. Lovely wines from a very large wine list which caters for all tastes and prices. It is an amazing restaurant and worth the 2 Michelin stars that it has

Great meal. Great som and pairing. Don’t eat too much bread! (It’s amazing but there is a ton of food) I feel these are best for lunch…it takes 3.5-4 hours.

From the moment I arrived at BO.tic, I felt I was stepping into a culinary atelier. Every dish is crafted with such creativity you can taste the thought behind it. The textures, flavours and presentation combine to surprise and delight. The wine pairing elevated the experience—each glass thoughtfully selected to accentuate the ingredients without overpowering them. I particularly loved how Catalan terroir wines were given centre stage with subtle storytelling. The service was warm and knowledgeable, never rushed. They seemed happy to explain small details about local producers or the inspiration for each plate, with genuine pride. Highlighting standout moments, the final dessert truly brought the meal full circle—elegant, restrained and full of harmony. A memorable meal that lingers, and I’ll definitely be back.

This is a guided (with a paced, focused) dining experience. It plumbs the delicacies of the region (Catalan, Empordà) in style and source. The creativity and personal interpretation are amply displayed with scintillating effect to eyes, palate and sense of place. This included an excellent local 50cl bottle of local red (Merlot, Cab) at very reasonable price. We derived great pleasure from food, service and surroundings.

Google
Amazing experience. Original and very tasteful.totally deserve their 2 stars and cheap for a 2 stars. Also the pace between courses was perfect (I am not very patient in long menus). Brilliant wine list at crazy low prices. The building is beautiful. A jewel of emporia. Totally worth the experience.

We celebrated my birthday at this restaurant. The dishes were creative with a consistent message and point of view. We both especially loved the cloud of cotton candy like dish encasing fois gras. I was happy with so many different small bites. The experience also included making some art with our food and playing a game for a prize. This was worth the experience and we look forward to returning in the future.

Yelp
What an INSANE restaurant. First of all, it's in a small tiny town that you'd never expect to hold a 2 Michelin star restaurant. Parking is right around the corner. The set up us beautiful and very quiet inside. Such a cool experience to dine at the chef's table in the kitchen. The food had me drooling every time a plate came. The attention to detail and the thoughtfulness behind each decision is carefully explained with every plate that is brought to you. Many bites have a combination of exquisite tastes that you'd never think to merge and are mind-blowing. My favorite was the cotton candy with foie. One of the people in our party had a dietary restriction and the way they addressed it and adjusted the plates was very creative. We even bought a copy of their book. If I can come back here next summer, I will!!

Yelp
This restaurant has made all the other restaurants in my orbit mediocre. The locale is very nice, the service was excellent and the food deserves a third Michelin star. Every dish was so special I can't really pin point one. I did have some favorites like the corn cotton candy with foie. The bread! Oh the bread! I will definitely come

Yelp
What an amazing experience! We came here for a 50th birthday celebration with a party of 8. There is a beautiful terrace which looks great for smaller parties but they put us at a round table (which we always try to request for big parties) next to the wine room and kitchen which was perfect. The service was some of the best we have ever experienced including servers with black gloves. We ordered the special tasting menu with each course accompanied by a different wine. Our party was in awe of each course, both in terms of presentation and taste. The plates looked like works of art but more importantly the flavors were incredible. One of the people in the party is more of a simple eater but he said he loved everything. These are small plates but we were all full at the end. The owner/chef came out and greeted us. Don't miss this amazing experience.
