The employees here, never disappoint! I am always greeted with a smile and treated as if I was someone in their family. That’s important to me because it can be lonely out here. Greeted with a kind face and a warm smile can make or break your day. I don’t even have to tell you about the food because it’s always amazing! I know that is supposed to be the top priority, but I believe customer service is just as equal. I know for a fact, if somebody was rude to me or looked unhappy, I would just go to a different place, no matter how much I liked the food.. Thank you for staying awesome and consistent! Oh! One more thing..And ALL THE EMPLOYEES were absolutely outstanding.. thanks

Great atmosphere, found a place to sit 😎 place quickly filled up with a line out the door after I got my food. I ordered the Left Coast Pastrami priced @ $13.95. It was delicious. Steven said I probably would not like the secret sauce and he was absolutely right, I loved it. It had fantastic flavor, actually considering buying some sauce to go.. sandwich came with your choice of chips, a bowl of potato salad (good flavor 4/5), and a drink. I rate this place overall a 10/10. It was my first visit and this is subject to change but overall great, friendly, tasty experience!!! Thank you

My first time visiting. Deluxe Turkey was very tasty and people watching on the corner was great. I just couldn’t stand the curly haired guy behind the counter hitting on every girl who ordered a sandwich. (“Here’s your order, beautiful.”) Nobody seemed into it! I felt embarrassed for him until he was coughing into the air and into his hands in between touching food. Dude was gross in every sense of the word.

Great service, friendly employees! We were able to get our group a good healthy meal in a timely manner. Would go here again and recommend to others!

I have been coming to Board & Brew for years and was super happy once they opened a location in PB. Staff is super friendly, Steven takes great care of all the customers. If you want a sandwich and you're in PB, this is definitely the spot.

Karla was the best worker there! She helped me with my order because I'm a very picky eater and she was very patient with me. She was very quick with the order on top of making sure everything was to perfection. Definitely coming back there only if she takes my order. She personally walked it over and restated the order to let me know how it was made and asked if it was to my liking. Such a sweet girl who I hope gets a raise soon!!

Love this board and brew everyone is super nice. Steven who works the register is always so happy and friendly. Must try! The sandwiches are amazing! You’ll love it!

Q I come here everyday for lunch and the service is exceptional every time. I order the salads, sandwich's, wraps, and quesadillas; there is something for everyone! The vibes are also top notch.

Thank you for the response. Based on response I decided to stop by again on June 22. Sofa machine is still broke. This was previously mentioned in 1st review and no action was taken by manager/owner. Food is still good. Disappointing overall

The food that did arrive was fine. But seriously, how do you miss two items completely? I have to assume it's just lazy service. If you order delivery from here, beware!

BOARD & BREW This one hits the spot every time it's a day at the beach! I love how convenient this place is, being right on Pacific Beach. I've been to this location numerous of times, and really enjoy their Turkey Club! It's pretty delicious, but the star of the show is their sauce! It's so flavorful, and I could go through 3 of them. My boyfriend got the Bulgogi Beef and it was super delicious! He said it was really flavorful, and I tried it and it was smoking hot! The only thing that lost a star for me was their service, they've never been welcoming, asks how anyone is doing, and looks super annoyed to take your order. The place itself is a bit dirty, the tables are sticky, and chairs has bits of lettuce or sauce on it. Parking can be a hassle, you have to find street parking however it is free! Highly recommend stopping by, would bring your food on the beach or somewhere!

We stopped by on a road trip to grab a quick lunch in pacific beach. The parking was horrible, but once we found a spot the restaurant was not too crowded. We split two sandwiches - the turcado was the favorite, fresh sourdough bread and a large portion of turkey. They give you this sauce of the side that is incredible, can't wait to try more

This is always a must stop for us when we are here! Highly recommend the baja chicken and ask for a slab of cream cheese on it & baja sauce. The bread is fresh, chicken is perfectly seasoned & grilled and that cream cheese just adds the perfect touch! Staff is always friendly & the shop is always clean. It's also just a few steps from the beach so it's a perfect location for lunch!!

You know when you order a sandwich that is so tasty that each bite brings the dual emotions of excitement for the flavor and sadness knowing that you're one step closer to not having anymore? That was my experience at Board & Brew. The sauce that came with my food was divine. Each bite I dipped or lathered it on. Oh so good.

We make sure to stop at Board and Brew whenever we come back to San Diego. The orange sauce really is as good as they say it is. We've tried recreating it, but it just isn't the same at home. The sandwiches can totally stand on their own but highly recommend getting extra sauce. We love getting sandwiches to go for the beach, and we've enjoyed the PB location's outdoor seating. Our regular orders are the Turkado and Veggie Sandwich.

Board and Brew has always been one of my favorites! I'm a picky eater so I create my own sandwich, but what really makes this place great is their secret sauce! Very tasty, great vibes at every location I've been to in San Diego. Employees are always nice, you get your food pretty quickly and the tables were very clean.

How were they allowed to get a franchise when they don't serve beer? BREW is in the restaurant's name, so hey, I expect them to have beer like any other Board & Brew restaurant. This was the main reason I stopped in - for a cold brew and light lunch. After ordering food, I asked what they had on tap and they replied, "We don't serve beer." WTF!

We ordered a turkado and a kid's grilled cheese for take out. It was ready at the estimated time. The turkado was delicious! The sourdough bread was fresh and soft. The sandwich had a lot of ingredients and the flavor was great! The kid's grilled cheese is a large portion and was on the same sourdough bread. We enjoyed the sandwiches! Board and Brew has a handful of different sandwiches to choose from. They also make their own beer, which I have yet to try. Board and Brew is a great option for sandwiches!

The size of these jalapeño slices was diabolical. In general, this wrap was so haphazardly assembled, it immediately fell apart and every bite had humongous pieces of jalapeño and onion. :(

Board and Brew is one of my favorite sandwich chains here in San Diego. Their sandwiches are healthy, filling, fresh, and simple! If you're in PB and looking for a bite before heading to the beach then I highly recommend coming here. You can also grab it to-go and watch the waves while enjoying a delicious sandwich. Can't imagine a better vibe than that! The service is also super friendly here as well. My go-to is the Turkado sandwich and their special sauce is to die for.

OK, I don't know how to feel because places like this make me lessen my love for my hometown, Seattle. Every sandwich we ordered here was the most perfect sandwich I could ever imagine. About my tuna, I am so glad I ordered the pickles. You have to order the pickles with tuna! I guess if I was grasping at improvements, maybe spreading the tuna around would be better because it was kind of centered in the middle of the bread. Such nitpicky feedback, I shouldn't have even said that. The bread by the way is, I guess it's special to this place. It was so amazing and soft and flavorful and fresh and I wish I could make a bed out of this bread and crawl in and sleep for 100 years like sleeping beauty in it. OK, let's talk pastrami. The mix of flavors offered in this sandwich are shockingly amazing. Talk about a punch in the face of flavors. The bread that it comes with that has that harder shell on it or crust made me want to have more time so I could order one and go down to the beach and just nibble on it all day , as it would last that long, I would actually gobble it up. Along those lines, I could see how the wrap would be a great choice for bringing down to the beach. I tried the special sauce and it was very sweet and you know what I did with it? I dipped my potato chips in it. It kind of tasted like a very sweet barbecue sauce watered down. I'm not explaining it very well so I'm gonna stop. My daughter tells me that people Are addicted to the sauce and pour it all over their food. The sandwiches were so good to me the way they were. I did not want to add that flavor. This is all I've dreamed about in a sandwich place. With all the dining that we did in San Diego, his is the place I want to fly my son out to try this place and there's some Ramen place in Little Italy that was super good. The guy behind the counter was friendly and helpful and so San Diego it's almost like he was an actor. Great casting, great decor, great food thanks for the experience.

This is hands down our favorite local sandwich shop in PB. Every time we come in, the food is consistently fresh, flavorful and made with care. The bread is always perfectly toasted, the ingredients are high quality and the portions are super satisfying. We're always excited to come back.

I absolutely love board and brew. This one is a mess. I ordered ahead and It was supposed to be ready 45 min ago. I don't blame the staff they are working their ass off but this is a corporate problem. Why say the Sandwhich is ready if it's not gonna be ready for another hour Honestly so annoyed rn and want a refund but these workers are so busy that i feel bad. This location needs a bigger kitchen and a better system because this is a joke. The workers are doing all they can but whoever is managing this place is terrible

Came here after a day at the beach and had the hot pastrami sandwich and it smacked! Got our food quickly, very yummy!

Great place just to grab a quick sandwich or wrap. I think it's a little bit overpriced for what it is, but you're also right there at the beach.

Who doesn't love a delicious sandwich after a morning walking the beach? This sandwich place was clean, efficient, and tasty. After a walk on the beach in the morning we decided to check out this sandwich place. They had just opened for service when we got there and they were able to whip up these scrumptious sandwich. They had a house sauce that added a little sweetness to the sandwich. Can't wait to go back to try some other sandwiches!

This was my first time at Board & Brew and I loved it! I got the California Delight and was very happy with it because I never thought to put turkey and cream cheese together, but it was SO good! I was very confused because I thought there would be craft beer here but I guess they do not serve beer at this location. The food came out pretty fast and the servers were pleasant! Definitely a cute place to hit up while visiting Pacific Beach.

My wrap was 90% shredded lettuce. It was kinda gross. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing

Board and Brew is THE spot! The staff is always so friendly and caring. Any questions I had they were happy to answer. Carla helped me out and was so sweet, she made me feel welcomed as soon as I came into the store. I got the "California Delight" a refreshing sandwhich perfect to enjoy in a sunny day at the beach. I forgot to take a picture because I was so excited to eat it haha! They always play great music and it's always such a good vibe. I will say at times Board and Brew can be very busy but that's because it's so dang good, SO worth it! Whenever I'm in PB Board and Brew is my Go To! Highly recommend, I always look forward to coming here!

Great spot for after a long walk on the boardwalk. This place is always packed and for good reasons. The food and service is always on point. The sandwiches are massive, you never leave here hungry. I got the turkey deluxe on squaw bread. Definitely a great sandwich spot. Try it out you won't be disappointed.

Sandwiches are super reasonably priced and you get a lot of food. My favorite is the club sandwich - fire. And it's by the beach so I always take it to go and eat it there! Steven is super awesome there, tell him hello!

The location is extremely nice, as it's right by the Pacific Beach Pier. The food came out quick as well. The sandwhich itself was okay. The bread to toppings ratio was off. The bread was super thick and took away the flavors from the rest of the sandwhich.

The tub o tuna was arguably the best sandwich I've had in years! In comparison jersey mikes is flat and one dimensional while board and brew seems to transcend anyone's expectations of a simple tuna salad sandwich. If you like tuna you'll love their sandwich!

AMAZING sandwiches! My favorite is turkado. They taste so fresh and are a great portion size. Parking lot is nearby. They also offer catering boxes that are very affordable! The staff is very helpful and friendly. Some tables inside but recommend eating them on the beach!

Pretty good if very basic sandwich joint. Don't expect too many frills...or extensive flavors. Do expect, a very quick sandwich order. Very nice employees and an amazing location about 1/2 block from the beach. Don't spend any time in the store, grab your order to go and walk to the beach. Trust me. Why wouldnt you? The Italian sub is where it at. Go for it.

Yes, yes and yes! I love board and brew! This is my favorite sandwich shop and my go to place when I want to treat myself. The sandwiches are all so good and the dipping sauce is an added treat. The turkado is my favorite. It's one of those sandwich places that have large portions but it's so good that you finish it anyway. Highly recommend. Also, a tip! Order online and pick it up to avoid crowds. Such a good time saver for a quick grab and go. They are quick to make them.

La Jolla Board & Brew is by far superior. The turkado (avocado!!!) sandwich literally had no avocado but the tiniest layer of guac (if you want to call it that) spread on.. see picture below. Was extremely disappointing

The veggie sandwich is sooo amazing. Absolutely love the freshness of the veggies and the bread is so soft. The cheese tastes like its quality not the cheap stuff. The sandwich is stuffed with veggies and guacamole. I highly recommend. Love the window seating. The service was great. They were very friendly and helpful as my daughter ordered a plain turkey sandwich.

They have really good sandwiches and lots of options to choose from. Reasonably priced.

I love B&B, I've been to the PB location before and had a great experience. So I stopped here before heading to the beach on my day off, but I think the woman who took my order is new. She's nice but asked me to repeat my order 2X, which I'm glad she did to try and get it right. BUT, I'm vegetarian and asked for the veggie supreme on sourdough, instead I got it on a baguette with salami added...I never asked for meat. I don't mind it was on a different bread, but I'm confused how my order had meat on it when I never mentioned meat.

Amazing sandwiches! Great vegetarian options for sandwiches, wraps and salads. The portions are HUGE also, perfect to take for an all day trip to the beach. Conveniently located in PB, I highly recommend to stop here when craving a fresh sandwich for your next summer day. They also are on door dash- options to make adjustments or remove items from sandwiches available and they made our sandwiches perfectly! Great service, food and all around sandwich shop!

We love Board and Brew in general but this day, the quality was just a little off. We will be back though. Cashiers were super helpful and polite. the atmosphere was typical of being near a beach. Busy, and humid.

At my FAVORITE sandwich shop with the best sauce I've had in my life and the best food fix with the perfect options. Nothing needed. I've missed this place so much. Grub down in SD. It's been 6-7 years since I've been in San Diego or PB and this is my first food stop for a reason! Right by the beach and so good. The kind woman behind the counter gave me a full bottle of sauce after I briefly mentioned it had been so long since I'd come back and this was the food and sauce that I craved.
